The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club is a gated community of condominiums. There are three professional style tennis courts with night lighting; a tennis pro is on hand daily for lessons or game improvement coaching.
The large, remodeled swimming pool is ideal for “laps” and also for small children water activities. Showers and restrooms are conveniently located in the large pavilion near the swimming pool and tennis courts.
One of the most interesting features of the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club are the numerous archaeological sites. These preserved areas provide a glimpse of Hawaiian life years ago. Each site has a posted description of the activities that took place years and years ago.
The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club has many gardens and walking trails. ONE GOES DIRECTLY TO A BEACH!! Flowers and tropical foliage are abundant. There are several outdoor barbecue areas for guests to go to.

Beds were comfortable. It was convenient to be on the first floor. There are lots of fans but no ac. We visited in august and it was very hot one evening without ac. I recommend this unit and hope to return one day!

It had all the supplies we needed and a well stocked kitchen. There is a grocery store very close by so it was very convenient. The location on the oceanfront is great and just very relaxing to wake up to the view of the waves. We had complete privacy and they were very quick to respond if we had any questions about things to do on the island.

It was so peaceful to sit there in the mornings with my coffee before the day started and we specifically got home early one evening so we could watch the sunset.The condo was stocked perfectly and we were very comfortable. There was no air conditioning which we knew going in and had no issues with it at all. they do have multiple fans if you need them but we were fine with ceiling vans and the ocean breeze.

We were greeted at the condo by Rep. Hunter who gave us a brief overview of the unit and grounds.....It was gorgeous, just pictured on the website. 5 stars!! Clean and spacious. High quality furnishings and art throughout condo. The location was amazing and almost heavenly. Gorgeous sunsets with an oceanfront view. We saw whales and dolphins during our stay as well from our lanai. Our only regret was we forgot our binoculars. Between the ceiling fans and cross breeze of opened screened windows and doors, we were always comfortable and didn't need AC. This trip was a lifelong dream and this condo and location was our dream come true.

The unit was everything I imagined. The sunsets from the unit are so amazing, the unit was clean and spacious for 5 of us. The decor was excellent. The communication with the management team was very helpful. The response was so quick. My family had a wonderful time and appreciate the accuracy of what the unit and complex offered.

The views are absolutely incredible esp at sunset, and being on the first floor you can walk right out to the shoreline walk and watch the crashing waves. The location is also perfect for easy exploring of the island. I would definitely recommend Knutson & Associates and this condo and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Although Hawaii is known to have bugs, All the properties I stayed in had certificates of when pest control services were performed. I did not find any in this property. And this property had roaches everywhere at night they would come out on the floor, kitchen cabinets, bathrooms, bedrooms and even got into the refrigerator. We felt more comfortable leaving our luggage outside on the porch. The property was less expensive than others due to no AC but possibly this was another reason. The property itself was nicely furnished but had stipulations making us not want to be there. Such as don’t put anything on the tables that would leave a water ring and be careful touching the doors separating the bedroom from the living area due to them being made from a paper that you can put your hands through easily. The only plus was the location. But I would never chose this property again.

A very clean condo stacked with many amenities including small appliances (coffee maker, air fryer), beach chairs, umbrellas, noodles, boards, to name a few. Maybe the best place to see the Big Island sunset, directly from the patio, and relaxing to hear the ocean waves hit the volcanic rocks just a stone throw away. Close to many beaches for relaxing or snorkeling and close to places to do Manta ray snorkeling (you can easily walk). Would definitely consider staying here again.

We could wake up every morning to the beautiful ocean right at our backyard! What I really appreciated was that the owner personally purchased a shower chair with a backrest per my request because I’m in a wheelchair. It was very thoughtful that they could accommodate my accessibility needs so I could stay there! Also the staff at Knutson & Associates were very helpful and friendly, and made it easy to reserve this condo! I’ve already recommended this particular unit to my friend whose husband has mobility issues. I’m definitely going to come back and stay here from now on!

It has most amenities that you would need for an extended stay. It was very easy to cook in and has a great refrigerator and ice maker! If you are a family I would recommend verifying beach amenities prior to arrival so you can pack/reserve accordingly. The property has some items, but during our stay did not have enough beach towels or any snorkeling gear (we thought it did from precious reviews). The location is great- within a mile to a great snorkeling beach, a mile to grocery stores and restaurants, and a lovely drive to Captain Cook/Two Step.

It was very clean, and had pretty much everything we needed. The location was great, as were the grounds. The only thing we didn’t expect were several cats who came around, looking to be fed. Not sure if they belonged to someone or were feral? Also, there was no non-metal spatula other than a wooden one, and we didn’t want to scratch the frying pans with the metal one. But, we would definitely stay here again!

This is such a STUNNING place, and the communication with the property manager was amazing and the views are incredible. The lanai is absolutely perfect, and where we spent majority of our time. It’s large, has an incredible view, and the kids loved playing in the grass. Direct sunset view every single night! We also appreciated the grass volleyball court, ping pong, and table tennis on the property. There is a cute, simple little private beach that was wonderful for a morning coffee and family picnics. The location is excellent- a short drive into town along the beautiful Ali’i road. The market up the street along with Peaberry and Gallette coffee was excellent. The beds are very comfortable, there is plenty of space. As an added bonus, there are chairs, toys, umbrellas, and a lot more that you can use during your stay. We HIGHLY recommend this stay!

No AC but we really didn't need it, it had great airflow (stayed in April). The parking was designated and a very short walk to your front door. The pool was pretty big and well maintained, it had a very shallow end and a very deep end. I was a little worried my kids would wreck the place, but the nice wood furniture is glass topped so I didn't have to constantly police where they were leaving their glasses. We had everything we could have wanted, snorkel gear, beach gear and towels, games, tennis rackets, pool noodles, kitchen appliances. Everything felt very safe too. We also had to meet an associate at our unit to show us around, they made that very quick and easy and were really flexible with our last minute planning.

The unit was clean, very comfortable and well-appointed, and the location excellent for its proximity to a small mall with groceries, drug store and a few great casual restaurants - and best of all an excellent snorkeling beach (all within walking distance). Management company was excellent with communications and very responsive. We highly recommend for a laid-back vacation on the big Island.

Much better than other units we have stayed at in the area. Tastefully decorated with Hawaiian art. The ocean breezes kept the unit comfortable without AC in March with all the ceiling fans. Not sure about summer, but there were several floor fans in the closet as well that we didn’t need.We were pleased with having a real person come by to make sure everything was ok. We frequently had communication from the management so we felt if there was a problem they were available. Plenty of ocean equipment to borrow. The Keauhou area is such a central location to base your adventures from. Shopping center very close by.We will definitely try to rent this unit again. Working with Knutson was much better than other rental agencies.

We loved our stay in this condo. The view is spectacular. We enjoyed our breakfast on the patio while watching whales. The condo is so beautiful with exceptional attention to detail. The owners have furnished with unique and delicate furnishings so you do need to be careful but those are the things that differentiate this place from the ordinary rentals with throw away furnishings. We felt this place was special. The manager was very easy to work with and responsive. I have only wonderful things to say about this place. We miss it already!
