Love the location. 2 blocks from the beach on east end of Waikiki so it wasn’t as crowded. The view wasn’t too bad. Wasn’t a clear straight view of the beach but you can see it on the left and right side. Condo was very clean and spacious. Check-in, instructions and information were clear. Definitely will recommend to family and friend and I would rent this condo again.

Had no problems with the property!! Property Owners/Managers were great with helping us with our questions and were willing to go out of their way to bring us extra necessities.
Overall location was close to the most popular part of Waikiki beach. Close to the main shopping and restaurants of Waikiki that we walked to alot when we got food, sightsee and do some shopping.

This property was perfect for the family. Not small like a hotel room and has a kitchen with what we needed. Comfortable when we were relaxing.
The location was perfect, walking distance within everything we needed.
Parking was immensely useful! That was one of the selling points of this property.
Everyone was so helpful and nice here. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Loved the location and the ease of checking in. However, if you are parking be aware that it is very tight parking with small spots and that if you have a SUV opening the trunk you should be there to catch it so it doesn't hit the cement ceiling.

Clean condo with a simple set up. Has everything you need, including beach gear. Remember to check in with security on the lobby floor. Only wish: better quality amenities like shampoo and paper towels. But can't complain overall!

Our stay at the Waikiki Sunset was mostly pleasant . The apartment was clean and had all the necessities and then some. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, dishing, and appliances, making it easy to prepare meals. There were also beach chairs, a beach bug, and an umbrella, which meant we didn't have to rent or purchse those items. The apartment is a couple blocks from the beach and plenty of restaurants. Also, we had a car so the parking garage was a big plus. The one negative was our experience with the buildings fire alarm on the first night. It went off at 11:30 pm on the first night of our arrival. We jumped up and started making our way toward the stairs. We are in good shape so we can easily do 23 flights fairly quickly. The alarm stopped after a couple of minutes, but we did not get any communication that everything was okay. Since this is an apartment and not one of the hotel suites, we did not have a hotel phone to call the front desk. When my husband got downstairs, the staff was very nonchalant and said everything was okay and someone had just burned something in a kitchen and opened the door to the hallway. They said that if the alarm is turned off in less than 4 minutes, the fire deparmtnet doesn't come. I understand that, but there still should have been some communication to ensure that everyone knew the building was safe. So, the apartment was lovely, but because of the fire alarm experience, I would not stay here again.

The condo was very conveniently located. Plenty of shopping and restaurants and of course the beach all in walking distance. The fact that the unit included parking was a huge plus. Although we had a few snags in our stay it had nothing to do with the condo or owner/manager. On the contrary he was very helpful and responsive to our needs. I would recommend.

During our stay there was a cockroach infestation. On the first night we killed 15. As suggested by Vrbo, we tried to resolve issues with the property owner before reporting it. This is what we did, however the owner did not reply to multiple messages about the cockroaches until we called them. Three whole days later, leaving us to sleep and live among cockroaches, the owner organised an exterminator. However, things were not resolved, and so we went to Vrbo who said they couldn’t help as it wasn’t reported within 24 hours. The exterminator was organised again, but throughout the stay dead cockroaches were found in new places. Due to the cockroaches, we kept all of our belongings in our suitcases, kept washed utensils and plates in the fridge, and ate out every day. This made the trip very expensive and far from relaxing.
Among the infestation, there were dirty utensils, limescale on the shower head, black marks on the fridge seal, dirty kettle, and the bathtub was squishy underfoot. The shower head was replaced thankfully, and the owner came to clean the fridge and kettle days after we arrived. We contacted the owner three more times regarding further dead cockroaches and the utensils but no reply. We have received NO compensation which was agreed on. We wanted to leave but everywhere was fully booked.
Also, the property was not newly renovated, at most freshly painted and new flooring. The kitchen and bathroom were dated. The bed was two singles put together.

Great property located blocks from Waikiki Beach. Parking included was huge bonus. Beach chairs, umbrella and cooler included. Owners had no issue with late checkout for overnight flight. Fully recommend.

Perfect size for my husband and my self! Great location.. so close to the beach and the views of diamondhead each morning and evening were incredible! Had all the beach stuff we would need, although we didn’t have time to use it. Bed was really comfortable for me!! Great linens. Thank you so much!

Updated condo, great Diamond Head views with some ocean views to the side, clean, spacious, good value. Loved having the beach chairs, snorkel gear and beach umbrella and beach towels--so helpful. The kitchen was well stocked with five chairs. It's nice to have the deck, coin op laundry down the hall and parking. The building has a decent small gym and convenience store. We like being at this end of Waikiki because we like to walk each morning in Kapiolani Park and it's 1.5 blocks to the beach. Sometimes we can even hear the howler monkeys at the zoo. Food trucks are a block away on the other side of Hyatt Place. Good wifi. Highly recommended!

The unit and building were in a good location and it was nice to have the parking included, as we had a car this trip. Easy to walk to the beach and park from here as well, not far to either. The condo was well kept and had everything we needed for a good stay in the city. It was very clean and easy with the keypad entry and all. Fun supplies for the beach as well and the owners were kind enough to answer questions and responded quickly. Would stay here again, for sure! Thank you

Having parking was awesome. Good location, central to drive to many places on the island. Elevator could be slow during peak hours, but other than that a great stay! Had every appliance you could think of, including a rice cooker

Everything about the unit was as described. Only two small annoying things, laundry has swapped to an app which requires you to load $10 minimum, we were able to get change at the front desk. Also the front desk refuses to store luggage unless it is through their hotel business resulting us having to take our luggage to a storage place at the Marriott. The unit, location and amenities were all great. Although one of the beach chairs backpack strap are torn so was unusable for us and the umbrella was difficult to setup. But the one useable beach chair was helpful, also no sand toys compared to other units we stayed at.

This unit was just perfect for our family of four! Clean, everything was provided, comfy beds in both master room and sofa bed. The owner had beach equipment ready for our kids to use. A huge plus was the free parking! We loved everything about it.
We had a day of water being turned off due to another unit doing plumbing repair, but it didn’t affect us too much as we were out an about doing our excursions. We were notified in writing by building management.
Owner was also very responsive when the AC unit was sending out humid air into the unit, perhaps that was due to the plumbing repair that another unit needed to get done. AC was nice and cool when we returned from the day’s activities.
We really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location close to everything you would like to be near in Waikiki. Shops, dining, beaches are all within a few minutes walk. One note of caution for those renting a vehicle. The parking garage has a height limit of 6ft. So please make sure you get a smaller SUV.

The condo building, like many in Waikiki is older and somewhat tired. However, the unit was perfect for our stay. Nothing fancy but the owners were very responsive to any questions we had and provided everything that is necessary for a wonderful vacation on Oahu including beach chairs, beach umbrella, etc. A very short walk to Waikiki beach, restaurants, and night life. Laundry facilities on each floor was very handy. The condo was quiet and the King size bed was very comfortable.

We loved our stay, the place was a great location close to restaurants/shops and just a few blocks from the beach. We loved that we had the option to grill as well. Richard and Monica were very accommodating and responsive despite some issues with communicating via the app. Would definitely stay here again!
