The property ad is misleading and we thought we were getting a room facing the ocean. Instead it was facing a very busy road. From the porch you can still see the ocean which is very nice, but it isn’t what we were expecting at all, which was disappointing.
The room was clean, although quite hot so the window AC unit had to run all the time, which was quite loud. If the AC unit wasn’t running, you could hear the road.
The property is nice and backs right onto the beach which is great for swimming and late night walks. Overall good place, but not in line with expectations

Upon arrival was not aware that the condo did not have a bedroom , that the Murphy bed was in the living room, and needs a better mattress.
But the location was ideal and great beachfront stay , loved are morning walks!!! View was amazing!!
We would return definitely.

This stay was the perfect location in Kihei — right in the center on Maui and just a short drive from both sides of the island, while also providing a quiet and secluded location for my partner and I. It is the perfect size for 2 people and being only steps away from the beach makes it even better. Tim made checking in and getting settled in to our stay very easy and simple, as well as being extremely helpful and responsive — would recommend to anyone wanting a nice quiet getaway to the beautiful island!

It had changed owners after I booked this condo and Tim was great and responsive to work with. He made the change over completely seamless! I was able to communicate with Tim prior to our arrival and he responded quickly! We enjoyed the condo location, could not be beat! It does sit backing a main road, which becomes very loud throughout the condo at all hours. When the traffic was light we enjoyed listening to the waves crash. We also stayed during some wind and the sliding glass door whistled, we would just crack the slider and it would stop. We enjoyed the pool, morning walks on sugar beach, the ocean, and breakfast and sunsets on the lanai. The condo was stocked with chairs, umbrellas, cooler, and snorkel gear which was helpful! The property has lounge chairs that you can enjoy on the grass, ocean front. Several days, we enjoyed the pool and beach/grass privately, which we were pleasantly surprised with since it was spring break for some. It had a private parking spot which was convenient, so we didn’t have to fight or look for parking daily. We noticed when we would turn off the ac, there would be an influx of tiny black bugs that would be dead inside in front of the slider and ac unit and outside the slider. We would sweep them out every morning. We are from the mountains, so we didn’t have a problem cleaning these up, we know we were in a tropical place. Overall, the location was great and the property had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our trip in Maui!!!

This place was the perfect place to stay for our first trip to Maui! The location was perfect with being right on the beach and being in a central area on the island! The property did change ownership before we arrived and Tim was very accommodating and even helped with tips on food recommendations! I would absolutely recommend this place again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. We had plenty of room to maneuver even with the Murphy bed in the down position. The unit was generous stocked with essential supplies and had a good supply of hangers and drawers. Views of the beach and mountains was amazing. Great location for access to everything . Host was very responsive. We will definitely be back again for a longer stay!

This condo is cute & clean. The property is showing its age but it’s in a great location. The road noise from the unit is a bit loud & the mattress could use an upgrade, but it’s a good value & we enjoyed our stay.

The unit is in a very centralized location for sightseeing! I do recommend renting a jeep and touring on your own! So many beautiful sights to see and memories to make!
Relaxing our minds and souls is what it was all about! It was ACCOMPLISHED!❤️

This place had everything we needed for an exceptional vacation including beach chairs, towels, cooler, etc.The location cannot be beat with easy access to all of Maui, and we loved walking the beach here every morning. Our host had excellent communication with us. We would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay at this studio located right on the beach. The location is very convenient and is located near many touristy areas. With the fold down bead it was a tight fit with little extra space, but still totally doable with two people. There is a nice dresser to put you cloths in. It’s stocked with all the essentials, including bench chairs, umbrella, beach towels, boogie board, and small cooler. I did find the amount of cleaning we were asked to do before leaving strange with there already being an expensive cleaning fee for a small place. Overall a great trip.

The area was quiet. There was lots of beach to walk and wasn’t crowded. Conveniently located near more touristy locations for day trip. The condo was equipped with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable, including snorkeling gear, boogie boards and cooler. Lydia was a great host. My girlfriend and I had a great stay in Maui! The condo is very close to pretty much everything on the west side of Maui, and very easy to get to from the airport too. Lydia has everything you need for your stay readily available, and it was a great home base for us to tackle many day trips. Highly recommend!

Everything with Lydia was smooth since day one. The place was perfect for our not too short stay. We loved the location right on the beach, close to restaurants, you can only hear the sea. The place was clean, very well equipped, cozy. Perfect for two people!

My wife and I had a great time staying at this property. Our host was very kind and very accommodating. We couldn’t appreciate her any more. The location itself is last in line in a string of condos so the beach basically felt private. We’ve read two reviews complaining about traffic noise but didn’t notice that in the slightest. All we heard was the ocean and the breeze. It’s well worth the stay and we would do it again tomorrow, if we were able to.

Lydia’s place was great and had everthing we needed in a place to crash every night after busy days exploring the island! It also has an outdoor shower to rinse all the sand off (inevitable on an island) and it’s own parking spot which was really great. Most of the unit was quite clean, though I did notice the shower could use a bit more of a deep clean. Lydia was very responsive which was helpful! The downside would definitely be the road noise and the wind noise, it was SO windy it was squealing through the windows and shaking the door to the stairs which is next to the condo (we did our best to close it but it doesn’t close all the way). I would have liked to enjoy the patio but it was much too loud and windy. Overall a pleasant stay.

The unit accommodations are great and very well stocked (best prepared VRBO I've stayed at). The road noise and AC noise were very loud. And, I was sad to see there was no real view of the ocean/sunset from the lanai. However, a short journey to the pool /grass/ and beach area easily provided the view and experience we wanted.

Clean, comfortable studio with everything you might need for your Maui vacation, including washer/dryer & full kitchen. Steps from Sugar Beach. Beautiful grounds. Owner was very easy to communicate with.
Lots of road noise but it can be countered with use of white or brown noise or other calming sounds.
