This condo was perfect for our family adventures. It is centrally located so very easy to drive to the North or South sides of the island. The pool was beautiful and the water slides were a hit for the kids. The condo was well maintained and perfectly stocked. We would love to stay here again!

We spent an amazing 12 days on Kauai at Waipouli Resort.From the location, the resort, and the condo unit, everything was perfect!You can begin your morning with a great view of sunrise from the lanai. The resort's lazy river is a wonderful way to relax, and the grounds are very clean and beautiful. Each day, we found Hawaiian monk seals lounging on the beach. The unit is well kept and immaculate. It was perfect for the two of us with a fully-equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings.Thank you Kauai Remax for the ease and confidence in booking.

Everything we expected at Waipouli Resort unit E406. Air conditioning failed after 2 days but was readily fixed after the weekend. Everything was clean and tidy except for the vent and surrounding area in the kitchen ceiling which had a large spot of mold. There was also mold on the inside panel of the curtains; both in living room and bedroom. For the price I would have expected more care in these areas.

Outstanding unit! It was perfect for the two of us and very clean and well stocked. Especially loved the sharp knives in the kitchen as we made our meals much of the time! First time to Kauai and the central location was a plus to explore the entire island. There was no need to contact property management for any reason and the resort facilities were well kept. Overall was about what you would expect. Room sizes were generous for a week stay but a little cramped with an infant and nanny using the pull out couch at night. Room overall needed a deep cleaning to get some stains out of the curtains etc but we spent most of the time out of it than in it.

I'm starting to realize that I enjoy VRBO more than hotels because you know your room before you get there. Hotels have great pictures, but often put you in undesirable locations of the hotel.
This place was perfect for us. The suite was upscale with the high end appliances and nice granite. Kitchen and bathrooms were great. I was able to have a drink on the lanai and enjoyed looking over the pool and seeing the ocean as well.
I would definitely recommend this place!

We absolutely loved the property. It was very clean and welcoming. You could tell a lot of care went into it. It had a great central location so we could enjoy all parts of the island easily. We stayed at the grand hyatt for the second half of our vacation and felt more at home here. We will definitely look into renting this property again. The only con was that the app they use wasnt available for android but my girlfriend has an iphone so it all worked out. 10/10

The condo was very comfortable and in a good location to visit either the north or south side of the island. The air conditioning and fans were a welcome relief from the heat and humidity.
The pool is fun with a wandering path and 2 water slides. Highly recommended!

We spent 3 nights in this unit and had a great time. Pros: Really nice kitchen with updated top of the line appliances and nice dishes. Loved having 2 bathrooms with huge soaking tub plus shower. Lanai felt nice and private with comfortable chairs and a pool/ocean view. Unit is right by elevator so easy access. Our daughter loved the slides in the pool. The restaurant Oasis was surprisingly good and had a nice ambiance. Central location to north and south shores and convenient grocery store across the street. Cons: Even though we knew the east side beaches were not great, we were a bit disappointed coming from having stayed in Princeville the previous nights which is much more beautiful of a location. The condo was very clean but the couch could use a steam or updating as it had a big stain on it. I also found the bed uncomfortable - the side I was on had a big depression in it. But my daughter loved the sleeper couch which had a Tempurpedic mattress. No beach gear like beach chairs or boogie boards to use but Poipu beach has rentals. Overall, we had a good stay in the condo but just know that you can't compare East side to Princeville or Poipu.

Location was Perfect! View was wonderful! Condo was perfectly clean and met our needs and then some. Our first visit to Kauai was definitely memorable and we WILL be back! The on-site restaurant is closed two days out of the week but there are plenty of other options nearby. Not to mention the full kitchen and on-site BBQ grills available. Proximity to the airport was wonderful. Proximity to the other areas of the island makes this location wonderfully ideal. Highly recommend. We were pleasantly surprised by a welcome gift. We were able to chat with the person who was there to service the condo upon our check-out and he was very pleasant and informative. Nothing bad to say about this experience.

This resort condo is located on the east coast and is perfectly situated to travel north or south to explore those areas of the island. The location is also about 15 minutes from the airport and very close to the Wailua River access for kayaking excursions and The Smith Family Luau. The resort is beautiful with a wonderful lazy river including 3 hot tubs and pool area. The beach is area is clean and never crowded! We will definitely return here for future visits!

This unit is excellent for those looking for a high-quality resort as a centrally located base for active exploration of the island. If you are looking to simply relax and spend most of your time at or near the resort, a property located on the north or south shores of Kauai may be better. Property is on the east shore between Wailua and Kapaa, 20 minutes from the airport, about an hour from Princeville and other destinations in the North and 1.25 hours from Waimea Canyon in the west. Very convenient to grocery shopping and restaurants. Photos of unit and property are accurate. Property was very quiet during our stay. Plenty of parking. Check in/check out was easy and communication from Re/Max was outstanding. Unit is very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Description states two bathrooms, but the layout is very odd; if privacy is important, it is functionally one bathroom. Direct but distant view of the ocean. Some reviewers state they had a direct view of the sunrise but this may be a function of time of year since our view was occluded by other buildings. Excellent pool area. Nice beach in front of the property but bounded on the north and south; do not plan for a long beach walk (look carefully at Google Earth). Beach is not nearly as “swimmable” as the popular beaches located in the south or north of the island. On-property Oasis restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday which we found inconvenient. Overall, we were very pleased. If this location works for your plans, unit is highly recommended.

The condo at Waipouli Beach Resort E406 was one of our best vacation stays of all time! It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It had everything we needed right down to spices, coffee, Saran Wrap, and multiple other amenities and supplies. The location is perfectly centralized between the North and South shores which makes it easy to get anywhere in a decent amount of time. Such a lovely place, I would most definitely stay again!

We enjoyed every moment here in Kauai. We went snorkeling and enjoyed some of the local restaurants. Then to come back to our beautiful room was so comfortable and relaxing. The pool, slides, lazy river and the Oasis Restaurant was incredible!

Based on the description, it was exactly as I thought it would be. The condo was absolutely perfect and clean. The resort view was awesome overlooking the pool and ocean view. Access; I like being right next to the elevator, so that was perfect as well. Parking is easy overall everything was absolutely perfect for my three days stay. Note, the restaurant on site is not open on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, or just Monday and Tuesday. But it was an easy walk next-door to the Sheraton

We spent Christmas holiday here, and it was very relaxing. Nice view of the ocean and pool from the balcony to enjoy cocktails and meals. There were also “staples” in the kitchen, so there’s no need to buy coffee filters, oil, or salt/pepper. You’re also located across the street from a grocery store so it makes eating in, very easy.
If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay, look no further. It accommodated our family of 3 very comfortably! The pull out sofa is even a king size bed.

The condo was just as pictured in VRBO. The instructions for the use of condo and the property in general was excellent. We wanted a quiet place to enjoy our stay in Kauai since we have been to the island many times, it is by far our favorite island. We had been to Waipouli in July of 2021 but with the whole family and we want a quiet stay this time. You met our every expectation. We will plan to stay at Waipouli again when we return and we will return.

We loved staying at this condo! It was the perfect location, being in the middle of the island so you could go to either end of the island in an hour or so. Plus it has a perfect view of the sunrise! You can watch it come right out of the ocean from the balcony :) There was a convenient grocery store right across the street and lots of good restaurants in the area! We loved having the space to relax and cook if we wanted to. And we especially loved getting to sit in the hot tubs at the end of each day! Another thing, we appreciated having a keypad so we didn't have to worry about carrying a key. Overall it was very clean and comfortable, and directions for check in/out were very clear. Thanks for letting us stay!

Beautiful place, but so cluttered and stuffed you have no place to put your belongings. The bottom drawer of the large dresser in the bedroom is so stuffed with sheets it made the middle drawer unable to budge, leaving you with one top drawer to use. There is another small dresser in the closet but the access is blocked by a vacuum cleaner. There is another vacuum cleaner inside the closet along with so much gear the closet is unusable. An additional vacuum cleaner is in a box in the corner of the living room. So bizarre with no room to put anything we had to keep our suitcases on the living room floor the entire trip.
The couch is awful and stained and seems broken. It slants down at an bad angle so you feel like you are fighting sliding off of it the entire time you sit on it.
The pool is beautiful in photos but very shallow and not as nice as we expected.
So much potential but the place needs to have half of the owner’s belongings removed to make it comfortable and usable. For the expensive price we paid we were disappointed and would never stay there again.

The location is excellent. There is a shopping center with food shops, stores and Safeway across the highway. Kapaa sidewalk shops are within walking distance too. There is a nice beach walk near the property. Our condo had a really nice view of the ocean and pool area. It was clean and tidy when we arrived. It has a great pool area with lazy river and water slides.

Everything about this condo was perfect! The condo itself was clean, had every kitchen amenity we could ask for including a blender, toaster, etc., and lots of kitchen basics like oil, salt and pepper. The furniture was really comfortable, it was great to have extra beach towels to use and things like laundry and dishwashing detergent provided. Being on the top floor with an ocean and pool view was wonderful. We fell asleep every night listening to the ocean. Our kids loved the pool and waterslide- the only complaint was that the pool was a little chilly, but once you were in and swimming around it wasn't too bad. Having Safeway and Papaya Natural foods across the street was awesome, and being on the east side of the island was great- not crowded, less touristy, close to both the north and south shore. We hope to return to this very unit some day!!

We had a great experience staying at the Waipouli beach resort. The property exceeded my expectations, and the pictures posted don't fully reveal how amazing the resort actually is. The location is central so that you can experience all of Kauai, 30 minutes drive to the Northern towns such as Princeville, and 30 minutes South to Poipu, which seemed to have the best weather. There's also the convenience of a Safeway across the street, and a beautiful running/cycling trail a block away.

We loved this condo - it was spacious, comfortable, modern, clean, and had beautiful views. We found it to be well-maintained and the whole rental experience was flawless. Although we didn't really interact with the resort staff regarding the rental itself, we found them to be friendly.The only issue with the condo itself was the toaster didn't work (the buttons on both side wouldn't stay down to toast). A relatively small complaint, though, and it wasn't a big deal. The couch was not comfortable at all (understandable as it also functions as a pullout bed), but we're on vacation so shouldn't be spending time on the couch anyway :)I'd recommend staying away from the restaurant onsite (Oasis). We found it to be overpriced for the good quality and the service. We were ignored most of the night, while our neighboring table got above and beyond service (free shots). I would recommend trying Street Burger (~5 minute drive away). Their food was EXCELLENT and the staff were wonderful. Overall the stay was a great experience. We'd definitely stay here again and would recommend the unit to anyone.

I brought my daughter to Kauai to celebrate her sweet 16 birthday. We have been to the island often and have stayed in the past at Lae Nani in Kapaa or the Grand Hyatt in Poipu. I was hoping for something in-between that had Air Conditioning since last trip I was too hot.Waipouli Unit E-106 offered all that I expected and it's a lovely room just as it looks in the pictures. Every thing is first class and extremely clean and new. However, the couch does not make into a bed but my daughter had no problem sleeping on it anyway.The complex though seemed to be missing that Aloha laid-back feeling. It is beautiful, clean and well managed. The staff are very friendly. What was missing for us was probably due to the crowd that books there, most with loud kids and not very laid back adults. That isn't really our Hawaii style.Consequently, we never used the pool or spas, but the lounges under the trees out by the beach were very nice to sit, read and take in the view. With a series of tropical storms passing the islands the seas off Kapaa were too rough to swim in. Down south at at Poipu, shipwreck and brennecke's beach were our go-to for ocean swimming during this visit.

This condo was fantastic. It was top floor with a gorgeous view of the pool and ocean. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment and had high-end appliances. It was great to be able to go to the grocery store across the street and cook at the condo. The building and pools were well maintained, and pools were not overly crowed. The bathroom was huge and the dual vanity was great.

Well maintained and well provisioned unit. Likewise for the property. View from the room was better than we expected. Part garden, pool, lazy river, and ocean. Nice combination with no immediate neighbors looking right into the unit. The high end appointments (sub zero, wolf stove, Drexel furniture) made for a upscale stay. Location on island was very convenient - right in the middle of the 7 mile beach front bike / walk trail and just a mile or so from downtown Kapaa that had many unique places to eat. Not that far to drive to other island locations (north / south shore). The only real weakness was not having a swimming beach at the property - but it was a minor issue. Would definitely stay again - overall great time and good value.

Offered to move us but we didn't want to leave the unit so they brought cooler with ice immediately. Only one issue, slow wi-fi but we think it was because everyone is on it. Doors open toward the ocean and stayed open all night, courtesy of the trade winds. Management was very responsive to a leaking toilet valve. Another wonderful vacation on the Garden Isle.

This was our second stay at Waipouli Beach Resort and we love it. This is a one bedroom unit and provided all the amenities we needed. We had a wonderful view of the ocean (saw many whales) and the pool area which is beautiful. The decor in E-406 is outstanding. The only negative I found was the lack of several important items in the kitchen especially for an extended stay. An example is there is not a metal spatula to flip burgers with down at the grill stations. Was afraid to use the plastic one on the grill. This location is very convenient on the island. You can go either direction quickly. There are grocery stores, restaurants and ABC store within easy walking distance literally across the street. The Oasis on the Beach restaurant is located on property and is very good. Would recommend this unit for a couple, anymore than that would be crowded.

Second time at Waipouli and knowing the layout from the first time I thought I knew which units to choose from. Unfortunately I did not take into consideration I would be there during Thanks Giving school break and the noise from the pool area by all the kids. Must be getting old. Great view over the pool area and distant ocean.The unit was nicely decorated, bed and seating were comfortable and the whole complex is well built to keep noise level down with doors closed. Great place for families with kids but would not recommend as a quiet getaway for a couple when you choose a pool side unit.As far as E-406 is concerned I have a couple of other comments. There was enough bedding in the unit for a 4 bedroom home. The closet contained a dresser with no empty drawers,closet top shelf stuffed with bedding,plus other items in closet-vacuum cleaner, folding crib, safe that did not work.Removed some items and stored in large corner Whirlpool tub along with numerous pillows that "decorated" the bed just so we could hang our clothes and stow our suitcases.In the kitchen it would have been nice to have some decent plastic ware such as for beer and wine to take pool side. Speaking of wine I kept looking longingly at the wine glasses that were locked up in the cupboard above the microwave while I had to use the almost thimble size glasses that were available.

We really liked the condo itself, and the pool is amazing. We thought there could have been more lounge chairs at the pool, and some umbrellas would have been nice. The restaurant was also very good, but noisy during happy hour. Very family friendly, so if you're looking for a quiet place, this isn't it.

We felt the Restaurant on site, Oasis, was quite expensive for the portions and servers a bit lacking in customer service. All in all, it was lovely, and we would definitely come back.

This home is just as pictured. It is very clean AND comfortable. There were a few dishes that needed to be washed before we could use them but I find this common in condo rentals. The kitchen was very well stocked and is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. The 12 pillows on the bed was excessive and if you need a featherless option because of allergies, they are in the pillow shams. There was no good place to store our luggage, the bedroom closet should be cleaned out for this purpose. There were plenty of towels and washclothes, several beach towels, plenty of soap and paper products, even HE laundry detergent. The grounds are beatiful. The location is perfect. Loved the view. I would stay here again. Also appreciated the early check-in and a late check-out.

We had a wonderful stay at Waipouli Beach Resort. It is a beautiful setting with well maintained grounds. The pool and slide are great and it was nice to barbecue on the outdoor grills. Room E-406 was well furnished and very clean. The kitchen was well functioning and the icemaker in the large fridge was a well used item. There was a good selection of pots and pans and bowls etc and even wine glasses. My only suggestion would be a new set of knives as the set on hand was not that sharp. But that is pretty minor. Overall a great value. Would return to the same unit if we come back to Kauai. Also the process of the rental contract with Remax was very smooth. No issues with anything regarding this rental.

This was our first trip to the Hawaiian islands. We booked a ground level condo with remax and it got upgraded to penthouse. We had everything we needed and more in our condo (E406). The condo is conveniently located on the island for shopping as well as sightseeing. We can't wait to go back.

Location is great as there are lots of things to do close by and it is centrally located for ease in travelling to other parts of the island. This unit was in good condition and offered a nice view of the resort and the Kauai was very easy to work with and very prompt in all communication. This is a nice resort with a nice pool - note that it is a shallow pool, there is not a deep end, at all. The restaurant on the property is amazing! We love to stay in this area in Kauai, it makes for easy driving to other areas as it is what I consider centrally located. Issues with the unit though...things that they don't have control over but are worth a mention: too big of a bathtub (which we did not use except to dry our swimsuits), too small of a shower (most adults shower). The code to enter the pool is ridiculous, and became entertainment watching from the lanai all the people trying to get in. Frogs or something in the courtyard at night - it echoes and they are noisy. Things they do have control over: CLUTTER. Too many decor items - that space is needed for guests to put their items - i.e., they put a nice corner shelf next to the toilet in the main bathroom, which would be useful for personal items, but they have put tchotchkes on every inch of it. Too much furniture - it crowds the place. Suggestion: remove the 4 barstools. BEDDING AND VACUUM ON THE FLOOR OF THE CLOSET!! I moved a mattress pad and a pillow to the top, and there was still a lot on the floor, but at least moving those made it possible to hang my stuff up w/o touching (yuck!)! We had to store our shoes in the foyer! AND THE PILLOWS ARE TINY AND THIN AND THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE I'VE EVER SLEPT ON! A king size bed deserves king size pillows. The light in the shower bathroom is too dim. The drawers on the dresser don't open and close correctly (one almost fell out on to our toes). What we liked: The bed size. TV's that worked and had a good assortment of channels. A full size kitchen is nice, and it was stocked with a good supply of dishes. A washer and dryer in the unit. Table on the lanai - lovely to eat some meals outside! We found parking easy while we were there. The beach chairs and umbrella that were left for us to use. 2 bathrooms. Opens up great to

Furniture needs to be updated badly. The couch is filthy with stains. Carpet needs to be cleaned. The unit is crowded with too much furniture. Closet is so full of stuff there is hardly room for clothes. Dresser drawers don't close. Condo was clean other than furniture. Had everything we needed. Enjoyed the location and amenities of the resort. ReMax instructions and communication was excellent. We didn't have any issues with arriving to the condo. WiFi was good.

The room was great for my wife and I with a nice view of the pool and ocean. The monk seal on the beach capped it off. Right across the street are Safeway, stores, and restaurants (Taps and Hops was the best!). Easy drives to Hanalei and Waimea Canyon (don’t miss the canyon!)

We love the Wailua Beach Resort! We have stayed here a couple of times, 1st time in this unit. You have a beautiful view of the pool area and the ocean in the background from the balcony. The pools and hot tub area is fantastic. We love the open air restaurant at the beach. Make sure you rent bikes and head north on the bike trail that goes along the ocean, beautiful views and easy elevation ride.

The Waipouli Beach Resort condo offered all the conveniences of home with the added perk of an ocean view and fantastic amenities. The pool and hot tubs were well maintained and offered activities for all age groups from kids to senior citizens. The condo unit offered luxury appliances and the convenience of an in unit washer and drier. We were able to travel using only carry on luggage by running a small load of laundry mid-stay. We also ran a load the last night and went home with a suitcase full of clean close! The only drawbacks we can point out are minor. The exterior of the property is showing a little wear and could use a fresh coat of paint. Inside the unit, it was evident the cleaning crew is not focused on the details. There was a potato chip under the cabinet overhang on the kitchen floor. We also found a bobby-pin and a used toothpick (ew) on the bathroom floor. In the bedroom we discovered a discarded earring a previous renter left behind. These are all signs of the cleaning crew just phoning it in. All in all the condo is terrific and the location can’t be beat.

Location was perfect as it was about the same time to go to the North Side as it was to the West Side. Both within 90 minutes. Perfect for exploring the island. Pool was relaxing after a day out.
