I couldn't have asked for any more out of a place to stay. I had everything i could possibly need. The only feedback I would give is that if check out time is 11:00, then I should have been able to leave the airport to come check in by 2:30. I had to stay at the airport for 2 hours because management had a list of reasons why they couldn't make exceptions. Inspection blah blah blah... turns out that the manager that greeted me said it wasn't even inspected and did I want her to do a walk through. I declined. I called before I came to Maui to discuss my plane arrival and after my plane landed. Looks like to me someone could have gone out of their way to help me get in sooner. Other than that.. everything was perfect!!!!

This was a great place to stay and excellent location for our itinerary. The complex is quiet and safe and includes a convenient beach from where to watch sunsets. Walkable to basic needs like a grocery store/bars/restaurants. Kitchen is well stocked and property is clean. In a very drivable location as well and a short drive to the airport. Was a perfect spot for us for our time on Maui!

I wish I had asked a few more questions before we booked. No in unit laundry, you had to go to coin operated machines on the property. Also, no hot tub with the pool. Not a new, fancy resort and not in the best neighborhood. Unit very clean and unit and property well maintained. Unit advertised as "ocean front" but only a view. Expected to be able to see whales from the lanai but could not.

Beautiful unit in a quiet, well maintained small condo association. Lovely pool and in front of the beach. Beautiful sunsets and great location. Only complaint is the kids can’t jump in the pool, it’s a safety tool, which was disappointing for our young kids.

We were very disappointed in our rental unit, Waiohuli Beach Hale #B-205. The unit definitely needed a deep cleaning. Floors, baseboards, and corners were filthy. Three of the throw rugs were very visibly soiled, but I fortunately found clean (though in poor condition) rugs in a closet. The towels were brand new, never washed, and unusable for drying just sticky new. . The new kitchen appliances were very nice, but there was not one frying pan that was not totally worn out. It was impossible to cook in them. Directions were given to use only butter or olive oil in pans, but none was provided. Only one set of King bed linens provided for our 12 day stay. We opened and used some new ones and I marked them with the unit # myself for the owner, as she requested. The swivel rocker tipped forward dangerously upon getting out of it, and the foot stool tipped over multiple times, dangerously. The furniture and pillows needed cleaning. I could go on, but the unit needed a deep cleaning and all fry pans needed replacement. I had to clean all the spice jars, though it was nice to have them provided. We owned a condo on Kauai for 22 years snd our management company never let our unit or any of theirs become so fun down and dirty. The swimming pool was a delight, however. The manager did an excellent job of keeping the pool and grounds clean and in good condition. Our kudos for him.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at Mary's Hale in Waiohuli! The condo was lovely with beautiful views and a quick walk to the beach! There are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. It was the perfect little beach haven that we needed so we could get some R&R! Thank you!

We enjoyed the convenience of being close to the beach, restaurants and market. The condo was well appointed with everything you needed. The one disappointing problem we had was the bed, Al though comfortable it had an stale urine odor on the side closest to the closet. We pulled up the sheets and the disgusting old stained mattress pads were the harborers of the smell. The mattress, is interesting. Never seen a bed like that and we’ve stayed in many places. It’s not a mattress but a 2 foam foundation with a 3” foam topper. The Rental agency was prompt and efficient in regards to steam cleaning the foam topper and replacing mattress pads and sheets. For the amount we paid to stay there, it’s a shame we had to deal with the bed issue.

We found this great place on line and it was perfect for a couple of old friends. Celebrated a 65th birthday while there. Beautiful grounds, very clean condos and pool. Great beach and there’s always a nice breeze. Had a wonderful time. We’ll come back for another visit someday.

Would highly recommend. The unit is located on a nice beach; grocery store next door; good restaurants within walking distance or a short drive away. The unit was very well equipt-fully furnished kitchen, has 2 beach chairs, beach towels. No laundry in the unit but downstairs in the building.

This is an excellent property in an ideal location. It has access to a nice beach for nice strolls and is close to shops, restaurants and parks. The only item lacking is a hot tub.The unit is very well equipped with anything visitors need.The rental company was very helpful with arrangements.

The unit had a beautiful view of the ocean from the lanai. The condo was clean and well furnished. It was helpful that the kitchen had essentials that others had left behind such as oil and spices. Have been to places where there wasn’t even a small bar of soap in the restroom. The bed was comfortable but the TV in the bedroom was too small and didn’t work well”. As well it was noisy in the bedroom from window air conditioners in the units below and loud neighbors. However this was a minor inconvenience.

Upon arriving late at night...it was a bit confusing per check in instructions why we had to put the key back outside in the lockbox. It took a couple of days before we noticed there were extra keys hanging on the wall..we didnt notice.. our bad🙄. Unfortunately during the stay we noticed the massive mini ant infestation on the kitchen and bathroom counters. We didnt cook to avoid them trying to get into everything...this may be common in island living ..even found them in the bedroom closet. Overall a nice condo rental..glad we had A/C as it was so hot with high humidity. The beach in front of the units are great to relax overlooking the ocean and we did see turtles swimming by the rocks on either side. There are lots of eating places one block over and a big grocery store as well a very good coffee place called Akamai.

The unit is a bit dated but more than serviceable. Very clean. No insects. Bed was comfy. Kitchen was well stocked. My stay was short (6 days) so I didn’t need to restock any supplies. I even did one of the puzzles in the condo and all the pieces were there!😉I liked that the condo was on the end of the building, so one less neighbor. The ONLY complaint is the bathroom. Poor water pressure in the shower and I would suggest better bath towels. They were pretty faded and not very plush. The layout of the property is such that every unit has a view of the ocean. Landscaping is very nice. The pool is a lap pool. It wasn’t overly chlorinated and is kept at a very refreshing temperature. The beach access is fantastic! A 2 minute walk over the dunes. The beach itself is long and sandy and a great place to spend the day. Times (the local grocery) is a short walk. So is Nalu’s! One of my favorite places to eat on island.

The beach access from this condo/property cannot be beat. You can literally walk from the pool to the beach in 10 steps. The condo itself has everything you could need, and the check-in/out process was effortless. Literally the only negative of my stay is that the water pressure in the rainfall shower head was very poor - hard to wash shampoo out of hair. Other than that, loved my stay!

This condo was fabulous for the two of us! It had everything we needed including extras! It had multiple spices, kitchen supplies, 3 types of coolers, multiple HUGE beach towels, etc! It was a very comfy bed. The lanai was perfect and we could see the ocean! The only issue was the a/c. The window unit in the bedroom had seen better days. The living room had a big portable unit. It took forever to cool everything down every time we returned (the owner wanted the units off when not on the property). Other than that it was updated and wonderful for our stay!

The condo is exceptionally well appointed, in a great spot, nice grounds and pool, and nice, easy to access beach. Only down sides, and they’re definitely not things that would keep me from renting this unit again, were marginal air conditioning (though not needed all the time given excellent breeze) and low water pressure in the very nice shower. But those are very minor complaints relative to the comfortable, quiet, convenient experience at 205B.

We rented this condo for the remainder of our stay as our original condo in the same complex wasn’t available for the full trip. It was definitely tight for myself, my husband and 2 small children but we knew to expect right quarters with a 1 bedroom. The morning sunshine on the Lanai was so nice as the other condos don’t get sunshine until it’s scorching hot or not at all! Beautiful view of sunset through the banana tree leaves. Would stay here again! (Without my children lol)

There were only two real issues with our stay, with one appearing to be addressed by the owner and the other totally out of their control. There were ants in the condo, but they weren't particular bothersome, there were traps for them set up, and there appeared to be fewer and fewer as the week went by.
The second issue is just the fact that there are wild chickens all over the island. I'm a fairly light sleeper and having roosters crow at all hours made it a little difficult to get great sleep.
Overall, it was a pretty pleasant experience though.

We love the location. Unit was good. We were really disappointed that the dishwasher was broken on arrival and communication with the management was hard. They never replaced the washer like they said the owner would. Had to hand wash everything. The vacuum was also clogged and wouldnt suck so we couldnt vacuum and had to sweep whole unit by hand. The property is beautiful and family orientated however the pool rules run extremely strict as u can not have a beach ball in it. The description did mot describe the washer dryer was a laundry mat on location at the condo. It said there was one in unit. So we thought it was the other unit we stayed at there 10years ago with a washer and dryer unit in it. Kind of why we decided to stay there was having a home away from home with dishwasher, washer and dryer in unit working for our stay.

Beautiful view of the courtyard and pool from the balcony. Beach is a very short walk from the building on the other side of the pool. The unit had all the amenities that we needed for our stay, including beach towels, cooler, beach chairs for our trips to the beach. We had a lovely stay here and would definitely come back.

The location is great, close to everything you need. The unit was clean and well stocked with everything you might ever need, except batteries for the tv remote. The AC was awful. The portable AC in the living room didn’t cool 5’ in front of it. The vent was cheaply connected to the left side of the patio door and the return vent air was coming back into the living room. Also, once we got it to vent outside, you couldn’t sit on the lanai because now the return hot air was venting out there. The bedroom AC barely cooled the bedroom. When we shut off the AC, as asked when we leave the unit, it would take hours to get the room to cool down again. An upgrade to their information binder is needed. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable and the distance to the beach was just beyond the pool and the view and scenery were to die for. But don’t plan on swimming because the water is all rocks and very hard on your feet. So much more to see in Hawaii besides the inside of this unit though so overall it was a nice unit for the short time we were in it.

The property was great and the view is perfect, but our AC in the living room stopped working the first day we were there. The maintenance guy offered us a fan but that did not help. The owner was in no hurry to get a new one or have it fixed. We could not enjoy our entire condo because the kitchen/living room are was so hot!

Tolle Lage, sauberes Condo, sehr gute Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter vor und während unseres Aufenthaltes.Das einzig negative war das Klimastandgerät im Living Room. Es hat nicht geschafft, die Temperatur unter 85 Fahrenheit/ 29 Celsius zu senken. Wenn da Gäste schlafen müssen sollten solche Temperaturen beim Schlaf aushalten können. Trotzdem würden wir wieder kommen.

Loved the amenities, great pool, lovely kitchen full of everything you'll need. Thanks for the snorkel, pool noodle, beach chairs and wonderful stay. Convenient to restaurants, groceries, snorkeling, learn to surf, everything for a great family escape! There were a few homeless folks hanging out outside the condo development which wasn't ideal, but nothing really concerning. Also, there was a steady stream of ants across the counter and we had to keep all the food in the fridge. But we're in the tropics, so perhaps this is to be expected?

This unit is perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our week the only complaint was that we could not have stayed longer, maybe next year! The view from the balcony was a wonderful way to start the morning and our unit was just steps from the pool and ocean. This unit is just as described and as seen in the pictures. Everything we needed was within walking distance, grocery stores, restaurants & a strip mall. We will definitely return to this resort and if possible this unit. I almost hate to share this gem! Aloha! 23rd time to Maui, 20th time to Waiohuli Beach Hale, 6th time to #B-205! Amazing as always! A hidden gem! We don't even rent a car! It's so close to everything we need or just a quick bus ride away. The property is so well-maintained and the unit has it all! No need to cross the road to get to the beach like so many properties in Kihei. So love being beachfront. It's also been fabulous to see so many turtles returns over the year. What beautiful creatures....just sunning themselves on the beach out front.We appreciate all the work that goes in to keeping Waiohuli Beach Hale so special. Mahalo!

The kitchen is well stocked with pans, dishes, utensils, and spices.Recent well thought out remodel of kitchen and bathroom with granite counter tops and stainless appliances. Newer tile floors throughout. Bedroom has a comfortable king bed, plenty of storage in closet and chest of drawers. A/C and fans in bedroom and living room. Bathroom needs a small table fan to set above toilet to help with humidity after showering since there is no outside window to open.The condo is on very nice landscaped grounds with a huge pool. The resident manager does an exceptional job. The complex is ocean front. Theere are strict quiet hours. Not a place for the party hardy crowd. The condo is best for two people only. The complex is a short walk to a large supermarket.

Before we even arrived, we felt prepared and organized on what we needed to do. Once there everything was easy to get into and amazing! It was just like the pictures and even more beautiful. The condo itself had everything you could need and more. It was clean and well maintained. We didn't have the A/C on at all, the tradewinds were all we needed. The grounds and balcony had amazing views and relaxing. Right across the lawn to the ocean for the most gorgeous sunsets! And, being right by all the main restaurants in Kihei was a plus! We will return.

We had a great week long stay in Waiohuli Beach Hale #B-205. It's a fantastic, well-kept property right on the beach! The pool is perfect. This unit could use a definite upgrade in the TVs (both very old, low quality, non-HD). The AC units are barely sufficient to cool the unit enough to make it tolerable to sleep at night, but other than that, it's great. The newly renovated unit has everything you need: beach towels, cooler, beach chairs, umbrella, plenty of dishes and utensils, lots of spices/oils, kitchen appliances, a beautiful walk-in shower, granite/stainless throughout. It was just as the pictures showed, and we loved our stay there.

Very clean accommodation, Quiet location, away from big hotels/tourist resorts. Right around corner from a grocery store. Well equipped unit and kitchen, including a popcorn maker. Everything one would need for the beach: beach chars, towels, snorkel gear flippers, cooler, umbrella, etc. Pool was great to cool down in after a hot day. Great sandy beach out front, turtles can be seen in the surf. Nice sunset viewing from the balcony, or when sitting by the pool. Overall excellent value for your money.

We thought the suite was beautiful. It had a lovely view and was nicely updated with a large walk in shower. We called maintenance to fix a few things such as a screen that would not close, and therefore allowed a 3 inch gecko to grace our kitchen. He also fixed the kitchen sink and a few other things. Overall we loved the suite. Our only complaint was that the bed was rock hard and is not flat but raised in the centre, and was painful on the joints. It didnt have a topper or anything. After five nights, we were dreading sleeping another night on the bed.

Love it here, my only complaint is that during our stay a lot of painting was being done. The painting wasn't a problem but when we arrived all the outside furniture was inside the condo and the windows and deck was tarped off. We moved furniture out so we could watch the sunset, the next day all of it was back in again. Wish we would have been told ahead of time that painting was scheduled during our stay. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Bed is very firm in the unit we were in so be ready for that.

Our trip was a last minute decision and we were a little concerned that our accommodations would reflect our late planning. But we couldn't be more wrong, the condo and it's grounds were beautiful and we had a wonderful time. If we are lucky enough to visit Maui again we will definitely make this condo our first choice. I have already recommend #205 to all our friends, if you pick this unit you won't be sorry.
