Loved staying at this townhome in Wailea. The split ACs in every room were the best part. The place was clean, kitchen well stocked. The flooring is nice, decor old Hawaii, and the lanai is wonderful for relaxing in the morning. The street noise and yard maintenance is pretty loud when you're on the lanai, but it didn't bother us too much. The area is great, went to all the beaches from Makena to Kihei. Ate in Kihei a lot. But hung out in Wailuku as well because we have friends there. Made in Hope Cafe and restaurant Ogo for dinner is a MUST! The restaurants in Wailea were all just so-so. Sweet Hula had great Acai Bowls. Kihei Marketplace we really fun but everything in this area is rather pricey. Hoapili trail hike to the "lighthouse," which is more of a light SIGN was super cool. Would stay here again.

We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room but it was exactly as described except it was further from the water then I thought with the add. Check in was a breeze and we didn’t need anything from the owner. The location was close enough to everything to drive and the neighbors were so nice. Would definitely stay here again.

This property was a good value for the price charged per night. The indoor and outdoor furnishings were comfortable. The ground floor unit worked well for us as we had two grandchildren who could play on the large lanai and the large grassy area. The unit was spacious enough to accomodate 4 adults and two children without feeling like we were on top of each other. The property manager was very responsive and sent maintenace out right away to fix an issue we had. The unit was well stocked with beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, etc. We will try to stay here again next year.

This is a lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom main floor unit in clean condition with an interesting layout, private patio and barbecue. We have rented units twice before at The Palms ( different units). We would not rent this unit again because of its location near a busy intersection as it was often very noisy sitting outside on the patio. Inside the unit, the road noise was less noticeable. We also would like to see a slip mat put in the shower, and the “extras”, (hand soap, toilet paper etc) were very skimpy. Some kind of instructions to using the remotes for the TV would be helpful to have as it took quite a while to figure out to any degree. Inside the unit after arrival we found a site map of all the units and how to find them which would be helpful to give guests ahead of time since we arrived at night ( in the pouring rain) after a long journey and had a bit of difficulty finding the correct unit. We had a wonderful time in Maui for the 16 days we were there though and overall had a great vacation.

Large, spacious condo with everything you need. We have 5 adults and a baby stay and there was more than enough space. The Palms is a beautiful complex, the pool area is wonderful. As other reviews noted, it is on a busy road and I didn’t realize how many loud vehicles there would be. It was not a big deal for us as we live downtown and are used to the traffic noise. The management company was wonderful, they answered all of my emails very promptly. I would definitely stay at the Palms again!

The condo is in a fabulous area of Maui!. After being here for 6 weeks, we don’t want to leave. This unit could use some updating and improvements. The condo had some issues and we spent a fair amount of time with repairmen during our first week. They were great, as was Rentals Maui…very responsive! One drawback to this particular unit is the noise. It’s on a pretty heavily traveled street, near a busy intersection but we knew that going in. We ❤️ The Palms!

Really enjoyed staying here. Check in/out was a breeze. The condo was clean and had plenty of beach equipment, (chairs, coolers, umbrellas, snorkel gear etc.) for all of us to use. The location was absolutely perfect for us as its close to golf, restaurants, shops and the best beaches.

We booked this place fairly last minute (about a month out during the peak season) and were happy with our decision. The location is great, only about a 5-10 minute drive to the Wailea beaches and even shorter to the Kihei beaches.The complex was nice and the pool was perfect for our kids. The main grounds were well kept and the assigned parking was nice.The unit itself was good. It was clean and the kitchen was nice to have. Our favorite part was the outdoor area, which featured two areas, one outside the kitchen, and another outside the master bedroom. It was covered so we ate out there for a few lunches and was nice.The smaller bedroom had sliding doors that did not seal all the way, so just a heads up if you have a light sleeper as it is right outside the main living room area as well. There were individual air conditioning units in each room which was great as they were not limited in temperature like you read about some owners doing.The unit came with beach chairs for use, snorkel equipment, and coolers, which was great for us and we took full advantage. I highly recommend this unit!

Staying at the Palms is a great experience, ideally located in Wailea, a well maintained property. The unit we rented was as described on the VRBO website. Beds and living room furniture comfortable. The kitchen was a challenge, the dishwasher broke down prior to our arrival, due to supply chain issues no replacement available. The kitchen cabinets need an overhaul. The outdoor grill was in poor repair, I notified the property manager and it was promptly replaced. Happy to go back to this unit

The property, Palms at Wailea, was fabulous! Beautiful, spacious, quiet and relaxing. The pool and hot tub are was wonderful.Unit 603 was just ok. Second bedroom not an actual bedroom, sliding slated doors separating it from the living room. Not real privacy. The bathrooms are very outdated and the toilets constantly running and wasting water. If I had small kids I would not put them in the bathtub- yuck. The dishwasher stop working during our stay. The biggest downside was the traffic noise--it was noisy from 6 am to 10 pm. Interruppted our sleep and make the back patio unusable. We had a family member in a different unit in the complex, and they had a beautiful balcony, no traffic noise and updated bathrooms for same price.

We had a great time in the condo, although our master bedroom bed was way too low and we kept hitting our chins, and the TV was way too low as well, but other wise awesome place to stay. Pros: The management company was very responsive and easy to work with. The complex is in a great location, close to shops of Wailea, walk to beautiful Beach. Pool and cabana area beautiful and inviting and not at all crowded.
Cons: This particular unit & patio backs to somewhat busy intersection. The living area was well decorated but overall the condo was a little run down and in need of a fresh coat of paint (especially bathroom). The second bedroom is a den with a louvered wall to LR. Not very private.
Overall, the complex, Wailea location and the ease and communication with the management company were great, while the individual condo itself was just ok.

Our family with friends stayed 5 nights and it was a very comfortable and spacious condo unit situated on a very lush and beautiful property. The living area is open and large perfect for hanging out in and kitchen is equipped with all essentials, even steak spice! Unit is kept very clean and tidy. The AC was a bit weak in the larger room. I would recommend both bathrooms to be updated to match the rest of the house. 2nd washroom shower was quite tight. Also, some areas of the home is a bit worn out and needs to be maintained but other than that it was perfect!
It was a pleasure in staying there for our first visit to Maui. Thank you for all the detailed instructions for a smooth entry upon arrival!

The property and location were exactly as described. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. The sliding glass door was a little hard to open and there was a small leak from the AC unit and ceiling above it which was promptly addressed by the rental company. This did not impact our vacation at all and our entire group had an amazing time on Maui.

Overall good. The washer did not work and never got fixed while we were here. We used anothercunit in the complex to do laundry. It was inconvenient but better than a laundromat. Showers are very nice. Pullout couch is very uncomfortable. We bought at foam pad to soften the springs. Property overall is lovely. The unit is on a noisy corner near the main road but we weren't here that much. Lots of swimming gear here and beach towels.

Great location in Wailea within short driving distance to everything one can need (the beach is a walkable distance but chose not to even attempt with a toddler and all the stuff that requires). The condo came with several beach chairs which was great. Of note is that the pool area was really nice! House was clean but the occasional **** roach and ants made an appearance (not a big surprise in Hawaii).

I came here with my mom and aunts and the place was perfect. It has the amenities we needed and the location was a few minutes walk to the pool. The lanai faces the corner of a semi-busy street on the other side of a tall hedge. But it was quieter with the doors shut. Would stay here again!

Wailea was our favorite area on Maui. The beaches were less crowded and the sand was buttery soft. Snorkeling and boogie boarding were easy to find on several close beaches. Overall we had a great stay! The condo was perfect for us and had beach chairs and snorkel gear to use. There was a few issues but nothing that could be controlled by anyone; construction on the unit above us, pool closed for a few days due to an "accident and chlorine shortage." Neither one deterred us from having fun in Paradise! We would stay here again!!

The condo was well kept and clean. It is 10-15 minutes walk to the beach. We loved the layout of two bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with many pots and pans and common spices for cooking. We spent many evenings eating outside on the patio. The BBQ grill was a plus. Overall, a pleasant place to stay if you prefer the quieter part of Maui.

The condo worked OK for our family of 5 adults as it had the overall adequate space and sleeping space. But. It always amazes me how pictures can make a place look so much better than the place really is. This condo needs some serious updating. The carpet is so bad that I wore my socks the whole time we were there. The cook top appears to be the original and so old that the numbers for the cook dials are wore off. The place needs a paint job as it also looks original. I also wore my socks in the shower (either one) as they are also original and are beyond cleaning. Replacement required. Some general maintenance is also needed and just things that would not take much time just a little TLC that would go a long way if the owner actually cared about the property. Eg. adjust the cupboard door hinges so they actually function properly, fix the toilets so they run all the time, plumbing under the kitchen sink so it does not leak. I called and they sent a repairman to repair a couple of the plumbing issues but they need to do some replacement of old (and I mean old) items in the condo. This could be a terrific condo if it was updated and maintained.

In general the condo was beautifully decorated, adequate kitchen supplies ..only thing to consider is lots of traffic noise on the lanai! The kitchen appliances are very worn so we found that to be challenge when cooking thanksgiving dinner! Because of the loud traffic noice would most likely choose different unit!!

This is located in an ideal location in Wailea and just a five minute drive from great beaches and Kehei. We particularly loved the patio off the living room and the way the kitchen window opened to the patio to easily pass food through. The unit was equipped with most amenities including beach towels, chairs and toys.

We stayed at this location for 9 days. The grounds are very well kept and there's a beautiful view of the beach from poolside. Our particular condo was nice and well stocked with the necessities. One major concern was the need for a new refrigerator. It took nearly two days to get cold enough for perishable items and really did not get cold enough overall. The only other downfall to this particular condo is its location in the complex. It is right on the corner of a busy street and the traffic was quite loud at all times including street sweepers and big trucks very early in the morning.

We had a great two weeks at Palms at Wailea#603! First of all Rentals Maui was fantastic to deal with! They assisted in changing our rental dates for us when we needed to change dates. Ensured there were enough beach chairs and dishes. The condo isn't fancy but if thats what you are looking for then just pay more and get a fancier one. Does the carpet need to be changed, yes...but we were there to sleep and cook...if you leave food out there will be ants or bugs so don't leave food out and clean up after yourself. Yes there were times that there was lots of traffic on the street but it made us feel like life was biggy...if you don't like noise don't book this condo, book another. The grounds, pool and facilities were beautiful and we loved it all. Thanks again to Rentals Maui for taking our questions and requests seriously. I felt we paid a fair price for a great condo and we had a fantastic time enjoying Maui!!!

This unit had everythig you need to be comfortable - large bedroom, washer and dryer, patio, tv, and some kitchen items, but it was clear that the kitchen and the restrooms were original and very dated, as was the furniture.

The unit is nice and large, however, it's a bit noisy as it's right by the road. The air con in every room would be very nice during the warmer months! The unit was very clean. I've stayed at the Palms in Wailea several times over the years and was surprised at how rundown this appartment was and the lack of response from the management company. When we walked in there were visible dings in the walls... places where they had painted/patched holes... the towel rack pulling away from the wall...carpets with stains and very dated. There were spiders we found cobwebs in several areas... I called management but even during the day phone said they were not there and left a message on the emergency line with no call back...propane tank was empty had to replace it after 10min of use... positives were the beds were comfortable and air conditioning worked... it was fine just was used to other units being better cared for and better response. The management companies app was easy to use however so that was helpful

This is a terrific unit -- the furnishings are updated and are beautiful -- carved wooden dining room chairs, bedroom headboards and dressers. Very nice kitchen -- again upgraded microwave, side-by-side refrigerator, and dishwasher. Beautiful berber carpeting everywhere except for the kitchen and bathrooms. Luscious grounds and walking distance to the beach. When we come back, we will ask for this unit.

This rental experience was certainly not as wonderful as the previous stays. The wireless connectivity didn't work and the condo was not stocked with enough utilities or sampling items.

We were a little disappointed there weren't any condiments available (i.e. Ketchup, Mustard, etc.) for food. There were a ton of ants and they found a way into the kitchen very quickly. Other than that, it was awesome! Thank you for letting us borrow your place.
