My husband and I stayed here for a few nights in August. The location was perfect! Just steps away from the beach, and the beach was not busy at all while we were there. Lots of tasty places to eat within walking distance. The condo was very clean! They had beach chairs, umbrella, towels, and toys. The pool and hot tub was very clean and relaxing as well. We would stay again. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful, quiet place to stay. I highly recommend renting this place. There is a beach just a couple minutes walk from the front door. The grounds are well kept with amazing plants and trees. Mary is a very thoughtful host and the condo is well stocked with amenities.

Great Location for a trip to Maui. Staying in Kihei was much better than staying in western Maui because of the traffic and proximity to the whole island. This location in particular was great because it is right next to a dozen restaurants, food trucks, a grocery store, and the beach.
We spent our honeymoon here and had a great time!

The location is great is easy access to restaurants and shopping. The beach, ideal for walking, is a 2-3 minute walk. The condo is first floor and private veranda due to the corner location. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at this property for almost 2weeks! The location was perfect for us, as it wasn’t near as busy as the previous place we stayed at. Minute from an ocean walk, across the street from our favourite Church, which has an AMAZING choir!
As we are not big restaurant people, I was pleased that I could prepare a meal just like at home.
Our Property Manager went above and beyond to accommodate us!

This was our second stay at this condo and everything was just as good, if not better than the first time. The property is clean, in a great location, and the owner has upgraded some of the amenities since our last stay two years ago. I would definitely recommend this location as a great home base to explore Maui.

Just completed our 5 week stay at Kihei Gardens. Mary was a fabulous host. The condo had everything we needed for an extended stay. The location was perfect.. near the pickleball courts, gorgeous sunsets, restaurants, poke, food trucks farmers market and much more. We are already planning our next trip to Maui It was a 5 Star stay!!!

The location was wonderful. Just 500 feet from the ocean and easily accessible to get to most of the island. My trip was interrupted by Maui fires but luckily the condo area was not affected. Owner reached out personally to check on me. Mahalo!

We couldn't beleive the proximity to the gorgeous beach. Barely anyone there. We almost had it all to ourselves. Beautiful sunsets and turtles! The place provided us with snorkels, beach chairs, boogie board etc.. everything we needed!

I was very comfortable with this cute condo. It was very clean, the pool is cleaned daily and was very refreshing. The beach is less than 60 sec walk from the front door.
Nalus is right around the corner which is a great place to enjoy food and cocktails.

We had the most amazing time. The location is everything! Walked to dinner multiple nights, watched the sunset which was steps to the beach, and ate breakfast every morning on the patio! We just spent 10 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s located steps away from what we decided was our favourite beach/sunset. The complex is well taken care of and is in a quiet area. The condo itself could use a couple updates but everything about it works. Easy keyless entry. If there for an extended time, fresh towels/linens midway through might be nice. (There is a coin operated washer/dryer just outside the room). Full grocery store just steps away. If your style is quieter, laid back door yourself, we would recommend. Great location adjacent to beach. Very well equipped rental with beach toys and excellent kitchen. Parking was easy. Never figured out how to access pool but no big deal. Really liked how the lock worked and did not need a key.

This 1 bedroom condo was perfect for us. There’s everything you need for fun (beach towels, pool and beach play things, flashlight for power outage, stores are close by and you can walk across the street to the beach. Pool and hot tub are welcoming too.

Kihei Garden Estates is an amazing location in early-mid July. The mango tree in the center courtyard yields the BEST mangoes for free. Go to close beach to watch turtles beaching at 7:30PM.
This apt was a bit dirty and old. My daughter found bacon bits on the carpet. Some outlets in kitchen were not working. The TV, cable, etc were out of order. A/C remote was also dead. Overall, a nice stay that could have been better.

We had a great time staying here. It was close to the beach, close to downtown Kihei, and close to a market. Restaurants close by and definitely recommend stopping in at Lava Java up the street. The pool and hot tub were convenient on windy days. It was nice to have access to a washer and dryer to wash clothes. The dryers don’t work very well though so be prepared to dry twice. All information needed is convenient to locate in the guest info book or in the emails. Lots of beach items available for use which was also convenient for the kids. My favorite aspect is the key code entry and no keys needed. Thank you so much for hosting me and my family!

Mary’s first floor condo served as a perfect home base for our adventures on the island. Close to everything in Kihei, there’s a grocery, pharmacy and shopping all in walking distance. Condo was well stocked with supplies to grill at the pool or cook dinner at home after exploring. It was the perfect size for my husband and me! We especially loved walking to the beach with the provided beach chairs every night to watch some gorgeous sunsets! The bed was super soft and comfy to crash out in after a long day! Great stay! Will consider booking here on a future stay!

The host and her manager were wonderful to work with, very responsive. The condo was well stocked with all the mentioned amenities (and a few more) and well maintained. The pool and hot tub were great (pool was at the perfect temp). It's location is close to everything you would need - beach less than half a block, grocery store next door to the complex, restaurants and other shops are within a few blocks. It is also fairly central for most road trips too. I hope we can book it again when we come to Maui.

Property is a block away from a calm shallow area to swim. Due to rocks, recommend swim shoes. Also grocery store 1 block away has great prices in comparison to Safeway. Parking is convenient! We had a comfortable stay.

I had started looking for properties more than a year ago planning a vacation in early 2021. I looked at a number of different properties and this one fit the bill for location and layout. When I finally had the opportunity to book and saw only 13 days available in December, I grabbed it and worked my flights around it. It's a great complex with a pool snd hot tub and just a short walk to the beach. A grocery store and drug store are close by as well as lots of restaurants. If you need a covid test, the lab is less than a 20 minute walk away. A wonderful place!

Easy to find and door code for convenient entry. Street parking was more convenient because of where our door was but the parking lot was an option too. Good kitchen to make meals in. Walked across the street to the beach for swimming and sunsets. Central location so we could zip all over the island on our day adventures. Super comfy bed to crash in each night. If it’s just you and your partner, you will love this spot.

Mary's condo is fully equipped, it was very clean and the apartment and grounds are both in top order.
Local beach is literally just steps away, and mature trees, little frogs on a well-watered lawn, night heron, and tons of turtles are just extra bonuses for nature lovers.

This was the 1st time we've used Vrbo and we love it!
Our location was perfect and with 2 teens, they loved being able to walk less than 1/2 to the beach (just like the listing stated.)
Our host was most helpful with sending us COVID-19 information. Host also answer all of my questions. I came home to CA and already recommended this place to others.

We stayed here for our very first time visiting Hawaii & may I say it was amazing!!! Everything was so convienent for the location, beach literally a 1-2minute walk behind us to see the beautiful sunrise/sunsets :) ,grocery store in front (same distance), Kihei's most popular restaurants and shops close by .The place had that "I'm home" vibe as well that we really enjoyed. The parking situation was great to where we always got the same spot in front but if not there was always a spot available near the main path way. Kihei was our favorite to stay at for sure when ever we come to Maui & We will defiantly use this place again. Thank you Bob and Mary for letting us get the best experience out of our trip by giving us a fantastic humble place to stay .

We have rented the condo from the 1st August to the 6th August 2015. We had an absolute blast. First of all the place:
It is convienient, clean, well situated and has everything you need to cook.
20-30 minutes to airport.
Peaceful, quiet and amazing garden.
The place is well maintained and it is at 5 minutes or less from a beautiful beach
You can enjoy a morning walk with your cup of coffee on the beach like we did every morning or a sunset with a drink, which we did too!!!! :-)
The pool area and jacuzzi is one of the cleanest we have seen in our trip to Hawaii. Everyone is very respecful of each other in the condo gardens.
We had a little inconvienent and Mary was available and there to help us out with our problem. She was on the phone and looking for solution with us. I trutly appreciated her time and help.
We have also met a beautiful owner named Sandi, which was our next door neighbor. So if you wish to rent both flats, which are next to each other, (example two families), the property is also on VRBO number 89110.
You are also near beautiful places to snorkle, providing you have a car. Everything is near by (Wailea, big beach for waves to boogie board, Lahaina, ect...). there is a huge supermarket, five minutes walk from the condo, but I suggest you take your car to go Safeway and ask for a Safeway card to save loads of money!
Overall, it is well situated, the owner Mary (& Jeffrey) knows what she is doing, she is available and I would definitely rent again from her or her neighbor. She refunded us pretty quickly as well.
I forgot to say! You have to go and eat at this place: South Maui Fish Company! (southmauifishcompany.com) It is a food truck situated in a parking lot near a 76 gaz station on your way to Wailea (Kihei Market Place). The poke (raw fish) is amazing.

We have frequently visited Maui over the years and we have stayed all over Kihei. I have to say that this condo and location is chart topping for us. We don't need much. Just a clean, well-appointed condo, access to the beach, close proximity to food and activities, and a great owners to work with. This place did it! Our 3yr old enjoyed the playful landscape to run around and we all loved walking across the street every night to watch the sunset. The pool and other residence n renters were very pleasant. I appreciate a community that caters to families. If beach walks are of interest, you can walk for MILES on the sand if you head north towards Sugar Beach. It was also nice to leave the car parked sometimes, since we frequently walked to dinner or took the Maui Bus to other activities (the stop is just steps away). Oh, did I mention the bed was AMAZING! We never slept so good. Mahalo and we will be back!

Dont hesitate, this is a really good place to stay. Apartment is clean and has everything you need. The property is nice and the swimming pool area is very well-maintained. The location is perfect with the beach with beautiful sunset, grocery store and several good restaurants "just around the corner". Everything you need is within short walking distance, just perfect for families with small children. The owner Mary was very helpful and just wonderful to deal with. We would highly recommend this property!

Condo unit is clean - just as the pictures show. The condo complex is well maintained with a great barbecue area & outdoor kitchen facilities.
The owner, Mary was a pleasure to deal with - very helpful in answering all our questions.
The beach near the complex is not great for swimming so a car is needed to get to all the other beaches for swimming & snorkelling.
The lanai faces a side street so at times there is street noise, however the bedroom is quiet as it is located at the other end of the unit.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely appointed condo. The grounds, pool, barbecue area of this complex are well maintained, and the overall feel of the complex is home-like. The condo is ground floor and has all your basic amenities provided. Clean, comfortable, with laundry conveniently located almost directly outside your door. Beach access is only 2 minutes away and a grocery store just up the street. We enjoyed the location and condo so much we have already secured our reservation for next year! The owners were very accommodating and quickly respond to emails or concerns. A lovely little gem of a place on my favorite island in Hawaii!
