The Fairways at Mauna Lani is a new luxurious privately gated community located on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. Imagine your well-deserved vacation at a brand new (2006),immaculately maintained two bedroom luxury two and a half bath townhouse located directly on the 12th fairway of the north course at Mauna Lani resort.

The highly sought after two bedroom 'A' floor plan 1646 square feet living area and 2338 SF total at the Fairways is perfect for couples traveling together. This is not to be confused with the smaller 'C' floor plan. The town home enjoys incredible views of the golf course and with its western exposure, great sunsets from either of the large two private lanais. Enjoy your privacy in this spacious unit with no neighbors above or below you. Both lanais face the golf course and are perfectly situated for one of the best views in the entire development. The unit has been thoughtfully furnished in a contemporary Asian Island style. With the additional sofa bed in the living room makes it ideal for the vacationing family. The townhouse is ideal for relaxing with friends and family after a day spent exploring the Big Island or after a round of golf at either of the two Mauna Lani golf courses.

Need to be close to a beach? Guest will also have gate access to Mauna Lani's Private Beach Club which is only a 4 minute drive away. We are also just a few minutes from Hapuna Beach , one of Kona's best beaches. If you prefer not to use the complementary Fairways private gym and pool, you can use the facilities at the Mauna Lani Sport and Fitness Club for a small additional fee. Tennis is also available at the Sport and Fitness Club as well as Pilates.

The gourmet kitchen, with granite counters and LG appliances, has everything you will need to create a wonderful meal. The living room has flat panel 50" LED TV/DVD and DVR to record your favorite programs while you are out. Digital high definition cable television for your enjoyment. Complimentary DSL/Internet/Wifi and even a computer/printer are included for your personal use.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed, ceiling fan, flat screen TV/DVD, large private master bath with Jacuzzi tub, a large private retreat adjacent to a large balcony overlooking the golf course. On most days you can see the ocean and Maui in the distance . The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, ceiling fan, full private bathroom and a flat panel LCD TV.

Take in that perfect evening island air while having cocktails on either of the two covered private lanai’s. BBQ some steaks in your private Viking gas BBQ located on the lower lanai. The unit also includes a large private washer and dryer. Plenty of linens are provided. The large upstairs lanai has two comfortable lounge chairs perfect to watch the sunset over the golf course.

This private gated community consists of 21 two-story villas situated along the Francis Brown Golf Course in Mauna Lani. Each villa contains six individual townhouses built in a traditional Hawaiian architecture. The low-density design and location along the golf course are ideal for relaxing and taking in the beauty of Hawaii - from the lush plant life to the gentle trade winds. A few yards away is the beautiful community swimming pool with two waterfalls and hot tub as well as the private fitness center, Weber barbecues, and Clubhouse with party deck, kitchen and lounge.

Just about a two-block walk from the town home is the luxurious Fairmont Orchid Hotel. Have drinks one night at the Ocean Bar just before sunset at the Orchid and see the turtles lazing on the white sand beached just steps away from you. The Orchid also has a great beach, water sports and fine dining. Other nearby luxury resorts includes Hapuna Prince Hotel, Mauna Kea Resort and the Hilton Waikoloa.

The Shops at Mauna Lani which is with in walking distance of the Fairways. Foodland Gourmet Supermarket within a half mile walk. Have cocktails and dinner while watching the sunset at Tommy Bahamas just a few minutes walk away.

This was the second time my wife and I stayed at this complex. This time we also bought along our Grandson and his Mother. We very pleased with the overall condition of the unit. The pictures don't do it justice. Everything we needed during our stay was there. Plenty of dishes and cookware. We grilled during our stay. The Grandson used the gear in the garage. He wanted to swim every night after returning from each days adventure. There's a small work out facility. It has adequate equipment to work out. There's a clip board to schedule a time slot. The room can get quite warm running on the treadmill. The loop around the complex is about 1/2 mile. It's pretty safe to run the streets. Watch out for goats and turkeys. Parking passes are on a clipboard outside the manager's office. Overall we had a great trip. We definitely would book again.

Fairways number 804 condo was a perfect condo for my husband and myself. The lanai furnishings were inviting, the living room and dining room furnishings were comfortable. The upstairs bedroom with the additional master seating area were comfortable and well appointed. The master bed had an upscale mattress which provided support and comfort. The hostess responded within minutes of our texts for whatever we might need with additional information, instructions, and support. It was reassuring to know the hostess was hands on and readily available. This to us was key!

Wow!! Well appointed unit in a beautiful community. Literally, just bring your bathing suit as this unit has EVERYTHING someone could need during their trip. All the beach supplies, kitchen gadgets, shampoo, spices, etc. Wilson was great to work. I have rented many places on the Hawaiian islands and this place is truly exceptional. I will be back and I highly recommend.

The townhouse is great. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need - nice pots and pans, lots of dishes, kitchen tools, etc. The beds are really comfortable. And the furniture is in good shape. We all loved the pool. And since the home if away from busy roads, it’s been very quiet here. We would come back.

Great communication with owner during our stay. The shower in the back room wasn’t working properly and Wilson got a plumber out immediately to fix the issue. The kitchen was beautifully stocked with great pots and pans. Sadly, we didn’t cook much but, what a beautiful kitchen to cook in. The location is perfect! The private beach was beautiful! The pool and hot tub were very refreshing and nice. Great vacation!

Unit is spacious, open, and well appointed. Location is walkable to beach trail and Fairmont as well as shopping. Owners have provided lots of beach gear which we used at beach club. Great views and bird watching from upper balcony. Would stay again.

I stayed here with my husband and son. It was in a lovely area of the island. Close to good food and great beaches. The unit was comfortable and nicely equipped with the standard kitchen stuff but also a lot of other useful things, enough that you could cook for yourself instead of going out (buying your own food of course). Plenty of towels, both beach and bath. The garage also had items to use at the beach (chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, sun shelter). The community is also a nice place. We walked around every day. The pool is very large and close to the unit. Just fyi for anyone who may be allergic to bees: we found a lot of dead (and one living) bees floating in the pool water. Parking was easy. We were always able to find a close spot. Communication from the host was timely and clear. We enjoyed the unit and would stay here again! It was so lovely to come back to a quiet, comfortable place after a long day of adventures. Thank you!

No complaints about the property, it’s gorgeous! Very clean, condo has almost everything you could want in it. No wi-fi, but I could have just read the instructions wrong. Host leaves a variety of restaurant/activity suggestions that were good.

First of all, the location of this townhome is A+ as we enjoyed watching the golfers on the fairway. The townhome is in pristine condition and is very well cared for. The well-stocked kitchen has everything you would need to create a gourmet meal. We enjoyed a couple of evenings grilling with a nice bottle of wine and watched the beginning of the sunset behind the palm trees across the fairway. The owner is very responsive to all questions and made our stay even better. The community is very quiet and the residents are extremely friendly. This is an A+++ property. Highly recommend.

Property is exactly as advertised. Tastefully decorated with all amenities provided including beach gear. Very private and quiet with a golf course view and close proximity to the pool/hot tub. We had family and friends pop in for short visits and they were equally impressed. Wilson and Alice (owner's) are very friendly and helpful. Would give this condo a 6 star rating if possible and would highly recommend it to anyone.

The location is great, between the Fairmont Orchid and Mauna Lani. 10 minutes to Hapuna Beach or A-Bay. The condo is well appointed with two lanais to enjoy the outdoors. The use of the attached garage is a plus and the garage is stocked with coolers, beach chairs, snorkel gear and boogie boards for use of the tenants. Wilson is a hands on owner and his response to any questions was superb. I have never encountered a more responsive host. His goal is to make your vacation seamless and he succeeds. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay on the Kohala coast. Five stars all the way.

The condo is in a great location in Mauna Lani. Close for walking to the beach. Close to walk for groceries at Foodland. Just the most well equipped condo that we have ever rented in Hawaii. We can’t say enough about what a fantastic stay we had.

We loved our stay! The condo has everything you need - It is well-stocked, comfortable, spacious and very quiet, even during the busy holiday period. The pool is a 1 minute walk and you can also drive to the Mauna Lani Beach Club, where we actually snorkeled with a Spotted Eagle Ray. We did use the pull-out couch which is remarkably comfortable, as are the beds. It is minutes from Hapuna Beach and Mauna Lani Beach and the Foodland Farms small grocery is very close. Try some Tropical Dreams ice cream, which you can find at Island Gourmet Market (up the road in Waikoloa). For breakfast, check out inexpensive 808 Grindz in Kona or traditional Hawaiian Style Cafe in Waimea. Near Hawaiian Style Cafe is the original Merriman's for a delicious (but pricey) dinner.

Thank you so much to Wilson & Alice for making my our stay at the Mauna Lani so relaxing and special. Of the many Mauna Lani condos available, I'm so glad to have booked this home. It feels like a home, not a condo. The location was excellent, facing west and felt uncrowded. The home itself if large with room to relax and, EXTREMELY WELL appointed. From the garage, beach & kitchen amenities, your host opens his home and shares their equipment as if you were family. Thank you to Wilson for making communication easy. All details have been thoughtfully planned and the furniture is super comfortable. We had a terrific stay and hope to stay upon our next visit on Island. Mahalo nui loa.

My wife and I stayed at Wilson and Alice's villa for three weeks in February and March. The villa is outstanding and very well appointed. It is well stocked with housewares and beach equipment. Access to the private beach club was very much appreciated and it is a great place to spend the day with private chairs, cabana's and restaurant available for use. For a change of pace, the beaches at Mauna Kea and Hapuna were a short drive away. We made full use of the beautiful on site pool and exercise room. Shopping and restaurants were a convenient short walk away. Wilson and Alice were great to work with and we will certainly consider the villa in our furture Big Island vacation plans!

Property was clean and well-represented. Owner was easy and great to deal with. Anytime we had questions, they answered it fast! Would recommend this place. Loved the community pool, nice and big, not small as the other pools on other properties, so you don't feel crowded even when its' packed with people!

We stayed at Wilson and Alice's place for a week in Jan 2012 and loved every moment. The place is beautiful, with such nice decorating- the pictures still didn't prepare us for how nice it really is. We stayed here with another couple with a 7 week old baby, and found the place VERY sound proof, which meant we slept so well. Alice and Wilson were so organized, and were so easy to deal with, it has been such a great experience fo us. We'd have breakfast on the lanai, then head off for some time at the beach, or pool (we thought it was the nicest of all the area pools we saw photos of). The private beach was nice, with lots of chairs to use, and we saw many colourful fish while snorkeling. Hapuna beach nearby (less than 10 min drive N) was awesome for boogie boarding, playing in the waves and walking on the beach. We explored the island easily from this area, and found it conveniently located, but not too close to the busier areas of Kona. It was just wonderful - thanks again!

Wilson & Alice, thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. We have been to the Big Island numerous times before, but this was by far the best home we have ever rented. Your home is beautifully decorated, very clean & is very well-equipped in every area. We really appreciated having beach chairs, snorkels & boogie boards for our use, plus having use of your computer saved us having to bring a laptop. The beds are very comfy & the unit was so quiet & peaceful, we thoroughly enjoyed our month of R & R. We will definitely recommend this unit to our friends & will hopefully be able to stay here again on our next visit to the Big Island.

Aloha !! My two children and I spent four incredible days at your lovely condo. We used the pool, the beach club, went to dinner at some of your recomended spots, went snorkling, sightseeing, shopped til we dropped...and will definitely be back! Anything we could think of you had: ice cream scooper, blender, chip clips, picnic basket for the beach, chairs, snorkle gear, beach towels. Your home is beautiful, kids enjoyed the DVD players in both rooms while I read out on the patio. We even used the jacuzzi in the Master bathroom. Everything was perfect. THANK YOU !!!!
