A beautiful home to stay, clean and comfortable. We love the peaceful environment. Spacious master bedroom and bathroom. All the air cond units worked efficiently the whole time we were there, which was great for Maui weather. We can cook with the utensils that are necessary and a dish washer. Walking distance to all other resorts and shops. We enjoyed both, the regular walks to nearby Andaz Maui at Wailea resort to be with our other family members, and also the walks to the nearby beach. An excellent base for travelling around with our rental car.

Property was in a great location however the unit was located near the intersection of two busy and noisy streets. The tall hedge offered complete privacy but it was noisy if you were outside.

We loved our stay here. Was very easy to book and get access to the condo. The location was close to the beach, food and shopping.
The condo had a lot of space and is a great layout. We very much enjoyed the outside living space and having our own BBQ.
Would definitely stay again... no issues.

We spent 3 weeks at this property in January 2023. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. We had one little issue and check in but owner and property manager addressed it immediately. The property is a bit older and doesn’t have a true ocean view, but that is reflected in the nightly rate. We have been staying in Wailea for 30 years and this property matches up with any we have rented in terms of value.
One additional point. A few reviews mentioned road noise. We did not find it to be a big deal. It is close to the road but having stayed at the Palms many times before, you can occasionally hear road noise at most of the units. And to put it in perspective, we heard far more noise from our neighbors on their lanai or in the unit upstairs (not sure what was going on there —sounded like a square dance several nights!). All of this generally subsided by 10 or 1030, and in any case, is kind of to be expected in a condominium complex. It was not a problem.
All in all, we had a wonderful trip and would not hesitate to stay here again.

This property should not be renting in this condition. Two twins has extremely uncomfortable mattresses. All pillows are very old and not good . Beach towels towels been in use for hundreds years , has holes. It was very embarrassing to bring them to pool. Clocks ( 3 ) of them never worked properly. Draining in both bathrooms takes time to clear . My daughter and her two kids left 4 days earlier, because they could not spend there vacation in this condition of this rental condo . I would like to have some refund on what we paid for for horrible vacation . VRBO has to remove this property from listing . Please , contact me asap. Thanks

Neighbors above and around were very welcoming we loved meeting Todd Valentine. Unit was spacious. Very loud in the am w/gardener lots of street noise as well. Washer/dryer too small to wash towels. Overall the location is great, pool area nice. We enjoyed the stay. Thanks

This home is in a beautiful complex, close to many beaches and a short-drive to restaurants, groceries, shops, etc. It was clean with a nice layout. The patio is large with lots of seating. We really appreciated the beach gear. The pool and garden walkway are refreshing and relaxing. Parking is close to the home. Peter was very responsive, helpful and accommodating. He provided tips and answered my many questions. And graciously gave us a late check-out so we could spend our last day on the beach. Maui is a beautiful place and we appreciated the COVID precautions. It was the perfect setting to take a break from reality. Thank you, Peter, for sharing your home and helping our experience be a great one!

We stayed for four nights, a site map is the only thing that would have been helpful as this property is very expansive with little signage within property. Loved the location and place was nice, clean and we'll stocked Aloha!

This was our second time staying at the Palms, we’d stayed in a different unit previously, but things were extremely booked up over thanksgiving. This one is pretty outdated (old carpet, sliding doors from the living room to the lanai are kind of stuck and very hard to open, pillows seem old and are flat, etc) and the location within the property is quite loud as it’s right next to the street and a bunch of construction. If you’re traveling with kids there’s no bath tub, no black out curtains, and a lot of things at kids height, but there were some nice beach toys for kids in the closet. It was cleaned well and had the basics in the kitchen.
I wouldn’t stay here again, but for the price if you’re flexible on how nice your unit is, it’s a good deal, especially in Wailea.

This lovely property was perfect for our family of four (with older kids). We especially loved the welcoming touches and impeccable cleanliness of the space when we arrived.
This condo has everything needed for a Maui getaway. The pool
and grounds are beautiful and relaxing. There are ample towels and beach gear provided.
The location is super close to beach entries/access and all the other fun stuff. We left recommendations in the guest book (check it out when you book this place). Also, I noticed prior guests mentioned the construction and pillows. Neither of these were an issue for us. The beds/bedding were great!

The location is perfect, close to kihei and Wailea. Ac in all rooms worked great. Washer and dryer is awesome to have. There is some noise from the nearby road outside, but didn't bother me much. My only issues were that the back patio light didn't turn off and the master bedroom has white curtains, so it kept me up all night. The sheets were rough and in bad shape, and the pillows were awful ( way to squishy and soft) hurt my neck. Otherwise the condo was amazing.

There are pros and cons to this property. Wailea is a lovely part of Maui and this condo does put you close to those beaches and the walkway along the ocean. As long as you have a vehicle, you can be anywhere in 10 minutes. The condo is spacious and clean and set up nicely for a family of four. I appreciate the beach chairs, umbrella & boogie boards. However, I agree with some of the other reviewers that the traffic noise, and the construction project right across the corner make it impossible to enjoy the lanai or to even open the windows for fresh air when it's cool at night. I knew we would be out and about on excursions and enjoying the beach, so I didn't think it would bother me. Unfortunately, it did because I also would have liked to enjoy coffee on the lanai, and cooking on the grill. I do think it is important to say that I believe the owners of this unit price it appropriately. Most Wailea properties this size are more expensive. I also think the owners of this property are kind enough to offer a cancellation policy and that was really important to me. This was the #1 reason that I booked this property. I reached out to other owners of more expensive properties and was told no exceptions would be made.
Overall, we enjoyed our trip to Maui. Having 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a Wailea location allowed us to do that.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Palms. The location is very clean and NO ants!! We had great walks to the coffee store and the Wailea Shops and enjoyed the Ulua Beach which is a short drove or a nice walk too. It is also close to good restaurants.
The place is clean and having a washer and dryer are so nice to use. The owner was responsive and made sure our stay was very good. Used the Bar-b-que which worked great. The Beds were nice!.

Lovely complex and great location; close walk to several beaches. The host was easy to communicate with and prompt in answering questions. Condo was clean and comfortable. It is on the ground level and not far from the road so you do hear some traffic when sitting outside.

Maui is a perfect destination. This condo was just about perfect as well. The only thing missing in the kitchen is a wine bottle opener. It was clean and keep up. We must love the complex for this was the 3rd time we stayed there.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was well appointed and comfortable. Our only surprise was the noise from the Okalani blvd. The condo is situated close to a busy street so it can be noisy with cars, street cleaning, buses and landscapers. We adjusted to the noise, but it was a bit of a surprise.
Thank you for providing beach chairs, towels, umbrella and a Cooler. Very helpful when commuting to a beach!

Great location, close to Kihei, close to numerous beaches. Had games available for evenings. Worked for six of us to stay four nights. Correspondence was quick and we enjoyed our stay at the palms.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo is very nice and clean. It's been renovated recently and is awesome.
The location was great for us. There are great beaches down on that side of the island and I felt like Wailea was close enough to them, but also far enough away from the busy streets of Kihei.
The hosts were great and responsive. They were very accommodating. We got in early the day of check-in and had plans to hang out at the beach until we could check in, but it was pouring rain. They were able to get us into the property early, and they extended our check-out time on the last day as we had late flights. They were very nice
The condo was well equipped. We were able to cook there and had everything we needed. They also have beach stuff which was the best. So nice to have chairs and an umbrella for the beach!
The pool area is also very nice. I saw the pics and thought it was pretty small, but was pleasantly surprised when we got there. It's very nice and well maintained. The entire complex is well maintained.

Sold our Wailea condo recently so we rented at the Palms this time. Unit 605 is very accommodating with all the amenities you need, including beach gear. Comfortable bed, new bath and kitchen renovations. Cold AC, cable tv, DVD player, wifi. Nice lanai with BBQ. Owner provided complimentary wine and chocolates (very kind). The finest Kewakapu Beach is 3 minute drive and another 3 minute walk from the parking lot. There is a busy road with some auto/motorcycle/bus noise near the lanai and the upstairs renters were a bit noisy at times but neither detracted from this stay at a great unit in a beautiful complex. We will return.

We stayed in this unit with our family. It is a lovely unit and is well kept. The beds are comfortable and it has pretty well everything you could need. The location is great and the walk to the beach is easy. A coffee grinder would be a good addition to facilitate enjoying a freshly ground cup of coffee.

This renovated condo was exactly what us 4 ladies needed! The condo has been recently renovated with complete bathrooms and kitchen. Completely stocked kitchen including the propane barbeque which we used frequently during our stay, and a blender for those cocktails! After talking with other renters in the complex it definitely sounded like we had one of the nicest units. Very efficient air conditioning in both bedrooms and the living/kitchen area. The owners have taken the time to ensure the condo feels like a relaxing, updated very clean home. We appreciated that, and would not hesitate to encourage anyone to book at this condo!
The location in Wailea is perfect. Very easy access of the main highway making it easy to get around the island more quickly. Wailea is one of the most picturesque areas on Maui, with great walking paths both ocean views and street side . Great shopping and restaurants very close by. Don't miss Money pod's happy hour, we have rated it the best in the Wailea area!
The owner Jerusha was so easy to work with. She was very responsive to all of my e-mail's within the day. She was most accommodating when I asked to talk with her personally on the phone. The on island contact person Jerusha has in place was also prompt to questions we had. We couldn't figure out why the master ensuite bathroom lights were so dim, and after a call to her we were informed of the very small sliding dimmer bottom on the side of the light switches. Which we were likely moving each time we turned the light switch on & off! Easy fix.
I have rented lots of properties through owners in the USA and Canada and this was one of the easiest pleasant experiences I have had. The welcome bottle of wine and box of chocolates was a pleasant surprise.
So stop looking at any other properties and book this one & you will not regret your decision!
