We loved this property and Jake was a wonderful host!
The condo is spacious and very beautifully decorated with original Hawaiian paintings. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. The dishwasher is very helpful too. The master bed is super comfortable and there are also two twin beds on the lanai. Our 9 yr old daughter spent every night sleeping out there and my wife and I took turns sleeping on the other bed. The central air conditioning kept everything nice and cool all day. The ocean breezes are so cool at night that we didn’t even need A/C for sleeping and it was August.
We snorkeled out front on the first day and swam with a sea turtle. It’s hard to top that on your first day!
The million dollar view is incredible! We saw sea turtles from our balcony every single day we were there. The lanai was so comfortable that we could literally just sit and have meals and watch sea turtles all day. It’s so peaceful. There is a nice sandy bottom swim beach next to the condo. The condo is within walking distance to food trucks, restaurants and a grocery store.
Our room was also stocked with beach gear so we didn’t have to rent chairs, umbrellas etc..
The building caretakers (Mike and Suzy) are so incredibly friendly and they do a wonderful job of keeping the Aloha spirit alive.They are amazing people.
I highly recommend Maui Kai #905 and definitely look forward to staying here again on our next trip!

The photos of this unit do not do it justice, it is absolutely stunning. They have fit every Nic nac of Hawaiian culture in every room and it just looks fantastic. My 18yr old daughter loved having her on room on the lanai. The view is spectacular. We spotted a turtle as soon as we arrived. Close to food trucks, supermarket and shops. The kitchen and unit is stocked with everything you will need. We would definitely recommend this unit and would stay again.

Family of 4. We had a wonderful stay. The condo was perfect. Right on the ocean. Looked out the window and could see turtles almost all of the time. My daughter even spotted 4 dolphins the last night. Had 4 beach chairs, 2 boogie boards, and 2 coolers. Clean. If you want a place with a beach right in front of you this might not be the right place but for the price and location you aren’t going to find anywhere better. Easy access to the beach and very short drive to lots of beaches

Jake's condo had everything we needed and was just as described! We spent hours on the lanai listening to the ocean and watching the sun set. We were very grateful for the beach chairs and things needed to enjoy the beach. The kitchen was absolutely perfect as we cooked almost every meal at the condo.

The view is even more amazingly than I could have ever thought. Watching the sunset from the living room and falling asleep in a bed on the lanai with the windows open to the sound of the surf below was wonderful. The whole condo is beautiful and comfortable. Cant wait to come back again!

This condo was amazing. You can't beat the views. It was a great place for our family of 4, 2 being teenage boys. The twin beds on the lanai were perfect for them and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with what we needed to make a few meals. We saw many sea turtles from the balcony and enjoyed the sunsets every night we were there. Walking distance to a grocery store and many food options. Thank you for having beach chairs, coolers and wave boards for us to use - these were very helpful. We loved that it was a smaller quiet complex. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spot in paradise.

Could not ask for anything more. Jake was great to work with. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
The condo was very nice and had anything that we needed. The center piece was the lanai. It is set up as an extension of the living room with two twin beds. You can spend hour just laying back enjoying the breathtaking view. And breathtaking is an understatement. If you get anymore closer to the ocean you'll would be swimming in it. Highly recommended.

We stayed 13 nights at Maui Kai 905 and enjoyed our entire time. Favorite activity was watching the turtles and dolphins from the lanai’s expansive windows. The sunsets were beyond amazing. The condo was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Even though we rented from a private party, the staff at Maui Kai were so friendly and welcoming whenever we out at the pool or sitting outside watching the scenery. Highly recommend.

My three children (16,18, and 22) and I stayed here for 7 days. The checkin process was very easy. The condo was very clean and comfortable. Lots of room for the four of us. The kitchen was wonderful to use and had everything that we needed.
There were beach chairs, boogie boards and coolers available for us to use. The location was perfect and close to everything. Love being able to walk outside and be right on the beach! We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in Maui Kai, Unit 905 for 8 nights to celebrate my wife’s birthday and had a wonderful time. The key attraction is the Lanai (balcony). We were able to see whales from the lanai within half an hour of arrival. To anyone visiting during whale season, it is highly recommended to bring/buy a pair of binoculars. The place has its small beach downstairs and the pool area is well furnished with all the amenities. It is close to all the attractions in West Maui within short driving distances. There is a supermarket across the street and a food truck within walking distance. We were quite impressed by the Hawaiian internal home décor. We can’t wait to visit Maui again in the future and stay here. Till then, Mahalo!

The lanai is absolutely wonderful, worked great for my family. Saw whales and turtles with in minutes of our arrival and throughout our stay as well as beautiful sunsets.
Beach access is easy, host was most helpful!

Wonderful stay in this condo. Jake was very easy to work with and responsive to our questions prior to check-in. While there we experienced no issues that required further contact. We would definitely stay here again. The only suggestion I would make would be to add a couple of better beach chairs.

We had the best stay here! The view says it all. Plenty of room for our family of 4. The kids loved having their beds out on the lanai, all the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, ping pong table, hot tub and grills on the property. Plenty of parking too! The only thing we needed were some hooks to hang all our wet towels and swim suits. For some reason there were very few, and we were always coming back from the ocean or the pool and had to get creative to get things dry in time for the next outing. Still 5 Stars all the way!!!

The property is perfect for more than one couple. It is clean, stocked with all that you would need. The owner is very responsive to questions and very prompt in any item that was requested. The views are stunning. The property is in a great location. I would highly recommend.

We liked this place a lot, really unique with two beds on lanai. that our teenage boys loved. Quiet place, never heard or saw neighbors. No beach but we snorkeled right off back steps, great snorkeling if you swim out quite a ways. Good beach and Duke’s is just a very short walk but of note Duke’s has gotten ridiculously expensive, not worth it. Food trucks and cheaper eats a short walk across the street and in next lot.

#905 was perfect! Jake is very nice to work with. Very accommodating with booking. The pictures do not do this place justice. Beautiful condo. Lots of towels. The view is amazing! The kids loved sleeping on the lanai. The condo had EVERYTHING we needed plus small coolers, beach chairs, and swimming boards. Just perfect!

We had a great time at Maui Kai unit #905. I would definitely recommend it! The place was very clean, lots of beach and other towels, the kitchen had everything you need, it felt like it was home. The view in lanai spectacular. we sure are going to miss it! My teenagers loved sleeping in there! I can’t skip mentioning small details like binoculars, ice coolers which we used a lot, lots of info about islands and attractions nearby, beach chairs, even swimming boards for the kids! We used everything! Thanks! We would love to come back here again!
