My family had such a wonderful time staying in this beautiful house. The location is convenient and the activities available through the rental property are fantastic. My children, 5 and 8 years old, took full advantage of the house pool and hot tub, as well as the community pool which was just a 5 minute walk away. We enjoyed the access to the private beach, Mauna Lani beach club and also made use of the complimentary Hilton Waikoloa resort. The house itself was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.

This property was even better than the listing. Convenient location for our activities of choice (scuba diving and snorkelling) and lots of space for each family group to relax but also socialize and eat together. Wouldn't change a thing. Amazing rental.

We were in Hawaii to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our adult children. This unit was perfect for us. It was spacious and completely equipped. We especially appreciated things like the snorkel equipment and bikes. The unit is fairly close to the pool, and the amenities at the resort were awesome. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to the Big Island.

The house was absolutely beautiful. There was plenty of space in the house, and we really enjoyed the covered lanai and bbq. The pool was awesome and the grandkids couldn’t get enough of it. The Hilton pool pass was a great addition and we used it several days. The Mauna Lani beach club pass made it very easy to access the beach and we really enjoyed it. The hosts were very responsive to all of our questions. We would definitely stay there again.

It was the perfect location for our stay. The house offers more than enough space and was perfectly clean. The agency answered all our requests extremely quick and could help us with all issues (before as well as during our stay). It is only a short drive to Kona and there is a small footpath that connects the gated area with Ali'i drive.
We really enjoyed our stay and can recommand the house if you are travelling with a bigger group.
One and only potential: The kitchen area could offer a little bit more equipment such as cutlery, cups.

We had great time in big island staying in this house. It is spacious for our family which consists of 8 including children and elders. It has all the things you need and the owner is very thoughtful to have bikes and all things you need for a beach day. The amenities are fantastic which includes a private beach, pools and gym. Although it is a bit far from the center of Kona but the grocery store outside of the community is convenient to get most of the things you need. Highly recommended for large family!

A number of items needed attention from the property staff during our stay. I would say the property itself was a great location but attention needs to be given to upgrading the kitchen applicances, bathrooms etc. We were a group of ten who were there for 10 days and there was insufficient dish towels, toilet paper etc

This place was the cherry on top for mine and my wife’s wedding. From the moment we walked into this gorgeous house we felt home. The accommodations were second to none and the house had literally everything we needed from towels and blankets to bikes and kitchen ware. Communication with the property management was so quick. We had a tiny issue with the door lock and within minutes they reached out to us and got it fixed. With so much to say I just want to say this house was perfect!! Thank you so much!!!

A large, homey, wonderful property with plenty of room. Has pretty much everything one would need. Beach access was easy, and a beautiful beach with better than average snorkeling around the corner. Stores and restaurants nearby, and many golf choice. Mike was great to deal with and very responsive. Great propert!choice within 25 mins

This is our third time staying in a 4bedroom in Kamilo, and Roma was by far the best. Very clean and well kept - aside from food and consumables we had everything else we needed in the house. All the appliances worked well, plenty of dishes and plates - we had friends staying across the street and were able to host 8 adults and 2 kids under 6 with room to spare. The house is QUIET as well. Didn't hear any of our roommates. Property managers were available via text or phone and prompt. Beach club access is great for snorkeling and relaxing with the bar/restaraunt right there. Plenty of quality beach gear - chairs, umbrellas, floats, boogie boards, snorkels and fins. We had a blast!
Note - if you're like to sit on the lanai and watch (heckle) the golfers, there are a few new trees in between you and the 11th green of Mauna Lani North that mostly block the view :(

We had a group of 8 stay at the house from ages 3-80 years old and we had a great time. The house is exactly as listed and very comfortable. The location to the private beach club (with key card) is an easy drive. The pool was a hit for everyone. Lap swimmers and the BIG lagoon pool for the rest of us. The kiddie pool attached is so big and such a great design my 3 year old loved it so much. The biggest asset of the house is the property manager, Burt. Incredible communication pre booking and while there. Super helpful and accommodating. Helped with a few extra things pre trip like information on shipping a crate of toddler gear etc. Wonderful experience. We will be back!

We had no hot water for seven of the 10 days we were there. The property manager did get a plumber to come out. But he did not fix the problem, and in fact, made it worse. We reached out again to both the owners and property manager and were continually gaslighted as we were leaving the next day. We were told by both the property management and suggested by the owner that it was in fact, our “preference” to have hotter water and we should take shorter showers. This property is advertised as being hospitable for 10 people, how is it possible to house 10 people with no hot water? We did not overuse the hot water, nor did we take long showers. The property manager did not notify us when the plumber was coming, as they communicated they would, otherwise, we would have been there to ensure the problem was fixed. We have extensive experience in plumbing ourselves.
In addition we were told the property had a resort style pool and spa to use during our stay. We were told the day we arrived both the pool and spa were undergoing major repairs and they would not be available for a month. We talked to another owner and were told they knew this was scheduled for several months. We were not notified of this or given any notice so we might choose another property. Aside from these issues, this property would have been a dream. Sorry this happened and put a damper on this once in a lifetime trip for your family.

The listing was a bit misleading as the property says "Mauna Kea Sunrise" but is actually in the Mauna Lani resort area. My mother joined us thinking we were staying at Mauna Kea and booked a room at Mauna Kea, about ten minutes up the road. Besides that the house was perfect for our party of 9 people. The garage has everything you need for a day at the beach, and the house was beautiful! Great access to all the resort amenities, and even bikes for our older teens who wanted to ride to the beach club.

This property was wonderful! The carpet in the living room had stains on it, as did the couch and chair cushions. The air conditioner didn't work the first day, but they had it fixed right away the next day. Overall, the location and property itself was great! Would recommend and would stay again!

Had a wonderful time at Mauna Lani property. The home was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. Enough room for the eight of us. There were tons of beach gear in the garage. And the view from the upstairs master bedroom in the morning towards Mauna Kea was tremendous. Great place - highly recommend it!

Multigenerational family vacation for two weeks. The house was perfect! The open layout and kitchen made it perfect for leisurely group cooking. The kitchen is well stocked. We appreciated the beverage refrigerator. The beds were comfortable. Beach chairs and towels, and the bikes were great. Proximity to the pools and gym was perfect. Access to the beach club was very nice. All in all it, was a perfect vacation!

Our extended family had a lovely time enjoying the location and all the house offered. We appreciated the beach towels, snorkel gear, and chairs and coolers. Living room set up was more conducive to watch tv than socialize inside, so we mostly arranged ourselves outside to chat. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking.

This was our second time to stay at this same property. Excellent experience again. The property is clean and spacious. It is well stocked with beach amenities as well as equipment for snorkeling. Bikes were available for use as well. The beach club pass is very nice feature as well. Communication with the host for a couple of minor issues was very easy and timely, with any concerns quickly addressed. Will definitely stay here again for our next trip to the big island!
