We stayed 7 nights at this great property. The condo was very well situated to walk across the road and enjoy world class snorkeling. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything that we could want. Having snorkeling gear here was a bonus so we didnt have to pack our own. They had beach towels, chairs, and coolers available in the condo for you to enjoy your day at the beach. We will definitely rent here again!

This property was amazing from start to finish. Comfortable and well stocked, it accommodated two adults and three teenage boys comfortably. We loved walking across the street for incredible snorkeling and the teens enjoyed taking the trolley into town. This property is close to many things but far enough away from crowds.that it is quiet. We would definitely return again and again.

We very much enjoyed our 6 night stay at this wonderful condo! The layout is so smart, and there is plenty of space. The kitchen is extremely well appointed, and the glass doors on the cabinets make it easy to find everything. But the best part is the location and the view.... it is spectacular. The lanai furniture is comfy enough to sit in for hours, and the included beach chairs and snorkel gear make it easy to enjoy the beach close up as well. The hosts were very accommodating for us, and we just cant say enough good things. We'd love to return someday!

This condo is located right on Alii drive across the street from a wonderful snorkeling spot. We were also pleasantly surprised at how quiet the condo is, given the multi-unit building and central location. The condo is well-kept, clean, beautifully designed, and well-appointed. We enjoyed the snorkel gear provided, sunsets on the beach or at the pool, and were able to easily make light meals in the well-appointed kitchen. The host was also very responsive when I had questions. Great place!

Condo has everything you need. For bogie boards, chairs and umbrella, look in the second bedroom closet, as we did not see this until we were packing to leave. The location is great. Great snorkeling right in front. A sandy beach with a volleyball court, 1.1 miles down the road

Thank you for opening your wonderful home to us. We enjoyed your lanai everyday. You're property is centrally located and the cleanliness of the unit was great. We are extremely grateful you provided all the necessities and then some. Soaps, shampoo/conditioner, beach towels, utensils/cups/plates and top notch kitchen appliances. We wished we stayed longer. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kahaluu Beach Villas! The condo was very spacious, and full stocked with everything needed for a lengthy stay. Leilani was great to work with, she was responsive and helpful. And the location was outstanding. We have snorkeled at many location, including Maui earlier in the trip, as well as Captain Cook Monument, and the Kahaluu Beach was the best by far! Coral was amazing, with many fish and sea turtles. Also, short drive to Kona and location attractions. If we come back to the Big Island, I would stay here again!

This is one of the nicest, cleanest, well stocked VRBOs we have ever stayed in. My mother is VERY picky and she commented multiple times about how clean it was and how well stocked the entire place was. Chad is a delight to work with and checked in a couple of times to make sure all was well. The property is fantastic and the location is fabulous with a nice beach across the street, restaurants and a grocery store close by. I would absolutely stay here again and would stay in any other property managed by Chad.

Nice apartment. Can look at beach from bedroom or lanai and see water conditions for snorkeling. Also, surfboard training.. Walk across street to get to beach. Fantastic place for starting snorkeling but also interesting for experienced snorkelers. A few turtles were in cove. Beach gear and a Pack and Play in closet, if you have little one.Quiet area at night, need to drive a short distance for shopping or restaurants

This was a great property. The condo was spacious and had everything we needed including beach chairs, snorkel equipment, and an ice chest. The condo is on the third floor, and there is an elevator. It was right across the street from a fantastic snorkeling beach and had a beautiful beach and ocean view. It was close to town, but not too close so it was quiet and peaceful. Great place to stay and I would definitely stay there again. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this property.

This place is magical. My 3 sons, husband and I had the best time here. It was exactly as the listing says. We loved watching the sunset and then star gazing from the lanai. Walking down to the beach for the most amazing snorkeling in the morning. It was clean and had everything we needed. Felt like our own private oasis. We would come back here in a heartbeat.

This condo is the best choice for accommodations on Hawaii for a family. The condo is very clean and well maintained. The location and neighborhood are superb. Just walk across the street and snorkel in one of the best spots on the island. The owner Chad was very pleasant to work with and he regularly communicated with me leading up to our trip. He even recommended scuba diving options for us. We are a family with two grown boys and the condo was very spacious for everyone. We were able to cook our own meals in the well equipped kitchen and a very nice grocery store was nearby. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay in paradise.

Great location for snorklers across the street from some of the best snorkeling we found in Hawai'i. Place was nice - and great for those on the go - a small living room and made watching soccer tight for four adults but we enjoyed the outside seating - the pool and the quiet small condo community. Check in confusion was easily remedied by host via text - small but perfect for our needs.

Everything we could ask for. Perfect location across from Kahalu'u Beach Park. Snorkeled there numerous times during our stay. Just right distance from Kailua-Kona area. Near enough to shop, sightsee, etc., yet far enough away from constant busyness of the area. Close to many other snorkeling and sight-seeing areas as well.
Condo in excellent condition and great amenities. We sat and ate on the lanai every day. Made frequent use of beach towels, chairs, and umbrella. Master bedroom comfortable and bathrooms excellent. Washer and dryer useful as well.
Only small suggestions would be to add a cutting board and a pizza cutter. Outside of those, we found everything we needed.

We had an amazing stay! The snorkeling right outside your door was incredible and so convenient. The condo have everything we needed and was very clean. The beds were super comfortable! We loved having our meals out on the lanai and watching the ocean waves and sunsets. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

From the first time we corresponded, Gail was enthusiastic and quick to respond to questions. Overall, communication was excellent. The condo is located in a great spot, right across the street from some of the most readily accessible snorkeling on the island and just down the road from the town center with lots to see and enjoy. We did easy day trips from the condo to the North and South tips of the island. The condo itself was very clean, had everything we needed, and even a King size bed for the adults. We did not pay extra for air conditioning so it did get warm at times, but with the fans, we had no trouble sleeping. We also enjoyed the pool that’s within the condo complex. Overall, this is a great place for a family and was perfect for our first stay on the Big Island.

Our stay in the penthouse was amazing, great location to a lot of different sights and activities but still nice and quiet. Snorkeling in the bay across the street was fantastic and easy for the novice. So many fish and turtles! We would definitely stay there again. The only issue for our entire stay was the dishwasher was left with dishes that didn’t get washed properly in it and smelled a little. Easily correctable. Loved it and made a great home base for our vacation

I would highly recommend staying at the Kahaluu Beach Villas. The condo was very clean. The property management company reached out to us as we checked in to be sure we had everything we needed. They took great pride in insuring that the property was well-kept. We loved the convenience of the Villa. Just across the street was Kahaluu Beach. We enjoyed snorkeling and watching sunsets. The Villa was also within walking distance, 19 minutes, to the Keauhou Shopping Center. My husband and I would walk up for coffee each morning and enjoyed the view of the ocean. Peaberry and Galette was our favorite coffee stop. They made great coffees and amazing crepes. There is also an amazing restaurant and bar just above the shopping plaza, Sunset Kai Lanai. If you want great food and drinks with an amazing sunset, this is the place!
As for the Villa, the pool and the hot tub were clean and not crowded. The washer and dryer were well needed, and welcoming after spending 6 days in Oahu. Everything worked well, and the kitchen was well supplied for cooking. Our travel party consisted of four adults and two teenagers. There was plenty of room and beds for everyone. We will gladly stay here again!

I brought my family to Kona as it had been greater than 20 years since my last visit. What a spectacular location--the lanai has the perfect view of the gorgeous turquoise waters of Kahaluu Beach park and the stellar sunsets. Almost all of our time (when not sleeping or away from the condo) was spent on the lanai. The property also has good views of the green hillside. Kahaluu was the perfect place for my kids to learn to snorkel, and was our second favorite snorkeling spot on the island after Two Step. The AC in the unit was also was appreciated, especially after staying in a house w/o AC at Hilo the week before. The pool was awesome--the infiinity/horizon pool view was great looking over Kahaluu--a perfect place to chill with a margarita. The kids had a blast in the pool as well, and we all enjoyed the hot tub during a rain shower...which by the way was nice and hot. I also enjoyed the grill and cooked out by the pool one evening. Of course the unit is close to all of the restaurants on the main Kona strip, and also a few miles a way from grocery stores/Walmart etc for stocking up. Parking was no problem and never had to fight for spaces and the elevator helped with our many suitcases. The only negative I'd note is that the master bedroom pillows are due for an upgrade and one night we had some cigarette smoke blow by the lanai from a neighbor's unit. Lastly, I want to thank the owner for being ultra-responsive and attentive to our occasional special requests!!

This property is located directly across one of the most popular snorkeling beaches on the island. There are a lot of rocks, so make sure you bring appropriate footwear. Down the street is another beach that I liked better because it had more sand and that’s magic sand. The condo was equipped with tons of sand toys for our two-year-old, beach towels, cooler and beach bags. This condo had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. They have plastic dishes for kids wine glasses for the adults. Everything was clean and fresh and the communication with the property manager was on point. Highly recommend. I would definitely come back to this location.

Everything was wonderful, from the condo with pool and hot tub, to the best snorkeling right across the street! We took the cot. Cook snorkeling adventure; while we had a lot of fun, we thought the snorkeling off our beach (as we came to call it) was much better! So much to do on the Big Island; Gail had a wonderful ‘fun things to do list’. We thought the condo was very comfortable, great beds, lovely well equipped kitchen and the lanai was beautiful, we lived watching the sun set from there! Thank you, Gail!

My family (two adults, two kids ages 8 and 10) stayed here the second week of June. When we entered the condo both my kids and husband just about lost their minds over how nice and luxurious it was. The condo is very nicely laid out, with the kids' room (two twin beds) across the living room from the primary bedroom. The beds and pillows were so comfortable (better than I sleep in hotels!) and well stocked with beach and pool toys. The ceiling fans were very much appreciated to keep the air moving and the balcony is pleasantly shaded most of the day.
The location of the condo is amazing - across the street from Kahalu'u Beach Park with excellent snorkeling and a coral reef. The complex includes a pool (with clear view of the beach) and hot tub. Finding parking in the complex lot was very easy.
Gail, the owner, sent an email with lots of info and recommendations for the area. This was a fantastic rental choice for our family.

The location is perfect for exploring all of the amazing beaches along the coast. It was so convenient to be able to use the beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and cooler!

We are very particular travelers. I researched many places to stay on the Big Island. The condo was cute, Hawaiian charm. It was spotlessly clean. We had a perfect view of sunset from the porch. It is right off of a busy street, which was noisy with cars. The beach across the street was a good snorkeling and surfing beach. Close drive to all things in Kona. The condo had plenty of room for our family of 6. My only suggestion would be upgraded beach chairs and a small cooler for guests to use.
