This condo really is great. It has everything you could want. We tend to cook a lot when we stay in a rental and we found everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen. The bed was comfortable and I love the ceiling fans. We ate every meal on the lanai and that was our go to place in the mornings and evenings. The condo is exactly 2 miles from the Coconut Grove Market, and only a 1/2 mile from the Ali'i Marketplace. I ran and walked down Ali'i Road daily for one reason or another. On-site parking and laundry in the unit are also big pluses! Bob was wonderful to deal with and very responsive.
The only negative for me was the bathmats. Please invest in some new ones. I couldn't tell if they really hadn't been washed or are well used and stained. This is easily fixable though and would not preclude me from recommending this great place. We had an issue getting in (which apparently was user error on our part). We didn't realize that you turn the key and push the door open at the same time, so Bob came and rescued us so we could get in. Once that mystery was solved, everything was great. Hopefully that pro-tip saves you the call.

We stayed for 8 nights and the property was beautiful. The condo had a great floorplan with the primary bedroom open to the ocean and a second bedroom/bathroom conveniently off the kitchen. The kitchen was very well equipped with appliances and spices, even some lovely unopened leftovers in the fridge when we arrived. Instructions from Mike prior to our visit were very helpful, and he was very responsive when we contacted him about a minor issue. The property is gorgeous, right on the ocean, and we could even watch green sea turtles from our lanai feeding in the tide pools just yards away. I highly recommend this condo for a stay in Kona!!!

Condo was very quiet and comfortable, lots of beach towels and chairs, convenient location (we had a car). Spent a lot of time on lanai watching surfers and listening to waves. Not an issue for us, but bedroom closest to lanai had accordion door for privacy as it opened into living room.
Holly (host) was very responsive to questions and checked in with us to be sure there were no difficulties with check in or condo questions.

This place was pretty clean and a convenient location. Wish I knew they had all the beach equipment including 2 snorkel sets as we spent money renting those. We never did check out Bantans beach but the pool area was nice and right by Da Poke restaurant which was amazing. Very small peekaboo view of beach but not far to walk across and view sunsets and beach. Close to downtown Kona.

This property was absolutely amazing! The condo is very nice, well furnished, and has a quintessential Hawaiian feel. The location could not be better, just a short way from downtown, and with a beautiful view right on the ocean. Some of the best parts of our trip were sitting on the lanai enjoying the beautiful sunsets and some fresh local fruit from the nearby market, and the occasional glimpse of sea turtles just below us. We hope to return to stay again!

Spent the end of our honeymoon here. Wonderful view from the lanai; great place for a meal. We only stayed for two nights, and we were treated to an amazing sunset the first night (we were at a luau the other night). Good proximity to Kona-area beaches; we did Captain Cook (beware the hike out) and Makalawena, which was absolutely perfect. The bed was super comfy, though the road noise was a little annoying (the bed room is on the road side of the condo and you’ll probably be too hot to close the windows). The apartment wasn’t super clean, especially with dust around the fans and higher surfaces. It was also pretty warm even with the windows open at night. Overall, it was good, and if you plan to spend most of your time out, it’s a good place to sleep and spend the mornings and evenings.

The view from the balcony of this condo is priceless. We saw so many beautiful sunsets! It was clean and close to town, but not too close. We enjoyed being a little ways away from the hustle of town. Holly was very attentive and check-in/out was super simple. If we were to come back to the big island we woudl definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect place for our ladies’ trip! Watching the surfers and the sunset from the lanai was so awesome ! The condo had everything we needed, and we loved the little beach and the pool! Parking was easy ( not to be taken for granted!) and another big plus was that “Da Poke Shack” is in the same complex!
Can’t wait to stay there again on our next trip to Hawaii!

Della's apartment was absolutely beautiful and located in such a central location to downtown Kona. Everything was a short drive away, and the beach is within walking distance! The facility has a pool and an amazing sunset view just across the street. The apartment was well stocked, with everything for cooking, cleaning, showering, washing clothes, etc....I would stay at Della's place again for my next trip to Kona.

Master bedroom - nice view, liked having it open to the living room with option of sliding door closed, comfortable bed, A/C cools off room well
En-suite bathroom - good amount of counter and cabinet space, large mirror, shower had good pressure & hot water
Secondary bedroom - comfortable bed, warmer than rest of room but host provided multiple fans in addition to ceiling fan so it worked out, closet and dresser space
Hallway bathroom - Good water pressure in shower, heated up quickly, all good
Laundry - Really convenient to have washer and dryer in the unit
Kitchen - Well-stocked utensils, cookware, serving ware, dining ware options; coffee pot was straight-forward and worked like a champ for all our Kona brews; appreciated having ice cube trays in the freezer; lovely view while washing dishes
Dining/living room - Appreciated all the ceiling fans, kitchen chairs more comfortable than they looked, clean
Other site amenities - Parking went smoothly and there were plenty of options, we used the pool & hot tub a few times (liked that the pool deck shower was heated), Da Poke Bowl on site was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful

Upon searching for an oceanfront place to stay in Kona, I found multiple properties but kept coming back to this one. It checked all the boxes...good reviews, on the ocean, reasonably priced, convenient location, pool, and so many amenities inside the unit. I booked this for 4 adults (2 couples) and was a little nervous that we would arrive and it wouldn't be as nice as it appeared in the listing. We were very happy with the size and space for all of us, especially the huge ocean side lanai. It was exactly as advertised, and one of the cleanest rentals I've ever stayed in. Christie was great with communication, and we checked in and out with no issues at all. The security of a covered parking lot and seeing the building manager on site daily was a plus. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

The condo was nice and in good condition. Safe and pleasant with lanai overlooking the ocean. Lovely view. But the bedroom is on a busy road. At night, even with the ceiling fan and floor fan going, the car-truck-motorcycle noise is very loud until about 2am.The ocean waves don't reach the bedroom even with the sliding door open. We ended up sleeping part of each night in the living room on couch pillows and folded blankets with waves in the background. That was better, but not ideal.

We were surprised at first that there was no a/c but you truly don’t need it, the breezes off the ocean and the fans made it very comfortable! We enjoyed watching the surfers and all of the fish!

My wife and I brought our 3 boys (ages 12, 14 & 15) for a week and rented this place. The views from the balcony were amazing. The inside was clean and exactly as described. Having the washer and dryer were a bonus. It was not too far from town and was an easy drive to anywhere I. Kona. We would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful condo. The view from lanai is stunning! The best part of the day was sitting on the balcony in the morning, with our coffee, looking out at the ocean and watching the surfers. The condo was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal. My only suggestion is to provide 2 luggage racks per bedroom. As it is, we had to put our luggage on floor.

We stayed for a quick visit with our kids in October and really enjoyed the location. The little beach at the corner of the property was great for poking around tide pools and watching the surfers. This place has everything we needed for trips to the beach and coming and going to Kailua town for food and fun.
