This place is perfect! My husband, 2 kids 11 & 13 and myself found everything we needed and then some, for an amazing week on the big island. My bro was competing in the Iron Man Competition in Kona so we came out from Maine. His family was staying down there closer to the race and as much as we’d like to be with them, it was so great to be out of the race madness and road closures. And it also served as a great place for his family to come visit us when they wanted to escape it.
The house had everything we needed, boogie boards, a wagon for the beach to lug our stuff, beach/pool toys, a variety of sizes of snorkel fins and masks, coolers, bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas. The property has 2 great, clean pools for the days when we didnt want to go to the beach. The house also comes with an electric Gem Cart! This could not have been more fun and convenient! We took it all over the place. Down to the Foodland for a quick grocery run, out to the beach at the end of the road for sunset, to the other private BEAUTIFUL beach club for the mist amazing snorkeling experience. A ton of different restaurants.
Ralph was so nice and responsive and helpful when we had questions or needed tips.
We had an unexpected friend poop in to visit and there was a super convenient and comfortable blow up mattress for him to sleep on. If and when we come back to this island, we wouldn’t think to stay anywhere else.

We have stayed in a lot of different places in the Wailea area. This was by far the best! So spacious and nicely decorated. It feels like home when you walk in…and just like home, it has everything you need. The kitchen was well stocked with paper products, ziplocks, spices, etc. There are also plenty of beach supplies (chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach towels etc).
And then there’s the beach club with a lovely view and good snorkeling. We will definitely be back!

This property and management did not disappoint! Check in was so easy and Jason was quick with replies to any of our questions during our stay. This kitchen has everything & it was amazing &appreciated. We stayed in Kaua’i a couple of years ago & that kitchen had the bare basics. You don’t realize how nice that is until you go looking for a Tupperware or cookie sheet or salt & can’t find it!
The condo overall was beautifully decorated and light and happy! Just what we wanted for a vacation. The Master bedroom/bath & 2 closets were great. It was nice to have little things like cotton balls & body wash,etc. The half bath on the main floor is convenient too.
We used the fitness center which was very nice and the pools looked great but we didn’t have time to use those. The beach club was nice and there is a unique walk through the fish ponds also. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the beach club as we prefer the Mauna Kea and Hapuna beaches. The owners have everything to make a beach day great & we especially appreciated the nice Tommy Bahamas chairs & umbrella. We used the boogie boards one day & it looked like there were children’s sand toys available as well as golf clubs.
The Food land grocery store nearby had a great selection of groceries- especially compared to the Island Market at the Queens shops in Waikoloa village. The little pizza place nearby - Knead and bake makes great pizza also if you need a quick bite to eat.

Bruce and Eric's townhouse is truly exceptional. It's impeccably stocked with everything you need, from a fully equipped kitchen to beach essentials like chairs, an umbrella, snorkel gear, and boogie boards.
The townhouse is both stylish and spacious, offering a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. We loved enjoying sunsets and meals on the lanai.
Bruce and Eric's detailed welcome binder was a lifesaver. Filled with insider tips on restaurants, beaches, and excursions, it's clear they genuinely care about their guests' experience.
The property manager, Ann, was incredibly responsive and helpful.

This property offers everything you could want for the perfect vacation away from home. The condo is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed. The beds are awesome - I have never slept better. There are coolers, floats, boogie boards, snorkel gear, bikes -- everything you need for a fun day out.
The owner helps make the stay comfortable and convenient. Ralph is so well organized you feel as if you have your very own concierge :-) He has awesome pre/during/post communication - and cares that your stay is the best it can be. Thank you, Ralph, for going above and beyond for your guests!
The GEM cart made zipping around the property fun and easy. Everything is about 10 min away -- beach, tennis, grocery, hiking, golf. The HOA keeps things immaculate -- the pool, the gardens, the tennis facility, the beach, the restaurant and bar -- you never need to leave the property, and are surrounded by luxury at every turn. It feels like you are staying at a very high end country club.
It was a really nice week for the family. I look forward to returning hopefully not too far in the future. :-)

Everything about this property exceeded expectation. There were 3 of us staying at the home and we all had to work in the mornings. Plenty of space to work and the wi fi worked daily. Everything we needed was provided. The hair dryer in the master did not work and a replacement was delivered so quickly. Fabulous patio space was very comfortable.

We had a lovely time on the Kona side staying at Ralph and Priscilla's property. We rode the GEM cart almost every day to get around the resort and the Mauna Lani Beach Club was beautiful. The unit was very well stocked, and Ralph was very responsive and made sure that we had everything we needed.

We highly recommend this property. It was an amazing place to stay during our recent vacation. The property manager was easy to communicate with and provided great information to us before our stay and during our stay if there was a need. The kitchen was impressively stocked with all of the essential kitchen items we could have wanted to utilize (pots/pans, dining items, utensils etc.). The patio/lanai was a perfect place to relax or play an evening game. There were items for snorkeling and playing in the water, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The home was very comfortable and in a beautiful location it is located near beaches which are family friendly for both playing and snorkeling. Day trips, to view scenery and explore are easily done from this location. There is a booklet at the home with pamphlets and areas of interest, these are very useful - we had done research prior to arriving, but looking through it allowed us to find other areas of interest.

This property was terrific. It is in a gated community in Mauna Lani which is a beautiful spot on the western side of the island, north of the Kona airport. The weather was beautiful all week in this location compared to other areas of the island we visited. The condo is near a supermarket and a few shops including a favorite lunch spot - Juice101. The condo amenities were ideal- beautiful pools, hot tub, and gym. It also came with access to the Mauna Lani Beach Resort which was a beautiful small beach in a cove close to the condo. The snorkeling was wonderful and it was close enough to bike to from the condo. The condo has everything you need for your vacation- well equipped kitchen, outside grill and sitting area, bikes, snorkel gear, beach gear, etc. The host was very responsive. This was an excellent spot to serve as a base for our exploration of the Big Island. We loved it here. It was perfect in every way for our family.

We love Mauna Lani and the beach club/beach there. The pools are super and the neighborhood is quiet and private. The condo’s large sliders allow full open air into the living room. The outdoor kitchen and eating area are comfortable. The floor plan is very functional. The bikes were fun. The beach chairs, coolers, and umbrellas were useful.
This is a great home. We will definitely be back.

Overall the property and the location were as advertised. Very comfortable and in a great location. The beds were comfortable and the home was very clean. The beach amenities were super nice to have!
The place fit us 4 very comfortably. You could definitely fit a couple more people, but 4 is nice.
The kitchen was nicely appointed (though you could have more spices and staples like oils, etc. on hand) and the bathrooms had nice soaps and plenty of towels. Overall this rental was worth the price and we would stay there again.

We had a wonderful time at this home. The previous reviews were all spot on. Plenty of room for the family and we loved access to the beach club. Use of the bikes, beach chairs, coolers, etc was a plus. Sitting in the backyard having breakfast was so relaxing, lots of wildlife visited us each morning. Lots of kitchen gadgets were available and made cooking and eating at the home very easy. Also the pool, spa, and gym were great too. Overall a wonderful stay! Thank you.

We are veterans of renting VRBO property in Hawaii. This townhouse was absolutely beautiful! The house was very well stocked. The kitchen had everything you could ever need. There was also extra toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc... which is above and beyond for most rentals! It was comfortable and very convenient. We LOVE having access to the private Mauna Lani Beach Club - so beautiful! Property management was quick to respond and very helpful! This townhouse was absolutely perfect....except for the beach gear. One of the reasons we do VRBO is so we do not have to bring our own stuff. This rental provided the stuff- but it was in horrible shape. There were three thin beach towels (odd since the VRBO is strict about only allowing 4 people). Three beach chairs that don't open or stay well. Snorkel gear is mostly broken, boogie boards are broken and beach umbrella is poor quality and falling apart. We worked around it but it wasn't ideal.
Other than that, the rental is gorgeous! The bedrooms are nice, the bathrooms are huge and we enjoyed our stay very much!

We really enjoyed the property. The beach pass and pool pass were very nice and we used on multiple days. The location was excellent with many options for dining and shopping. Plenty of opportunities to run or walk around and outside the property. The condo was fantastic, directions were clear about what to do. The only challenge was the gate code the first night. But we got it resolved. We would stay again.

Our family of 3 has been staying at various Kulalani homes for the last decade. We have stayed in homes of all sizes and locations. We enjoy the fact that this until faces the golf course side which has more privacy and quiet. The double suite layout is great for us. The master upstairs has a balcony and the downstairs suite is perfect for our teen. It would also be great for 2 couples or 2 families because of that. There is plenty of beach gear and the kitchen is well stocked. This unit has room for you to park in the garage. A bonus as parking is limited. We have stayed in this unit a couple of times now and plan to book it again. We love Kulalani because of the proximity to our favorite beaches and for its community pool area. Ralph is the most organized and responsive VRBO host we've ever rented from. The condo itself is great - very clean, and very organized. Ralph has thought of everything. The beds and pillows were high quality and very comfortable. The towels and provided toiletries were great. The beach equipment was an added bonus - lots of kids snorkel equipment, boogie boards, pool noodles, beach umbrellas, and a wagon. There is 1 kid size life jacket which was nice to have for my younger snorkeler. The pool is shared with the Ka Milo development to the north but always had lots of chairs and shade. There is a lap pool, a hot tub and a fitness center there. Being able to use the Gem cart is reason enough to book - just a few minutes down the road to the Fairmont Orchid, a few minutes the other direction to the grocery store (be prepared for $7 milk and $10 bread), Tommy Bahama restaurant, and the Island Taproom had good IPAs. The Fairmont Orchid restaurant was underwhelming but we ate one night at Beach Tree at the Four Seasons Hualalai (30 min south) and it was fantastic. The Mauna Lani Beach Club is 5 minutes by cart and had the calmest water and best snorkeling in our time there. Plus beach chairs and a restaurant good for lunch. The neighborhood is very quiet and much more relaxed than Waikaloa to the south. Great for families. Overall this is a fantastic home base to explore the Big Island or just hang out in the resort areas along the Kohala cost. We will definitely be back!

This was a beautiful, clean and very spacious townhome. We had a wonderful stay! The pool area was very nice and very close to this unit. It was a short drive to the Mauna Lani beach club area which had chairs for use and a nice restaurant. There were plenty of beach supplies in the townhome including snorkeling equipment , boogie boards, ice chest and beach towels. There was also a grocery store and restaurants about a mile away which was convenient.

We had a magical time as a family. Off to beaches, hikes, nearby shopping and lots of places to dine at. We spent a day in Hilo, ate at the Hawaiian Style Cafe, tasted a wide variety of Mochi at the Two Ladies Kitchen, walked through the Liliuokalani Botanical Gardens, relaxed at Coconut Island, then ventured over to Kaumana Caves.
On other days we took a day trip to the Papakolea Green Sand beach. Took a coffee farm tour (must do!), visited a Macadamia Nut Factory, ate shaved ice almost everyday and swam at Kua Bay. We also swam at the Mauna Lani Beach Club every other day and ate at Beach Club restaurant. The fish tacos are awesome! Sooo many more wonderful experiences, too long to list, the nicest part of our vacation was returning back to our Condo, unwinding and relaxing in the spa.
Oh...and the acai bowls at Juice 101 are the best!! Practically a short walk away from the Condo. We feasted on poke almost every day, thanks to Foodland!

This property is fabulous! We've stayed at over a dozen vacation rentals in Hawaii, and this is the nicest by a long shot. It's well appointment with nice furniture and amenities, and the property owner is very communicative. Access to the beach club was a huge perk for our family, and we all kept talking about how fortunate we were to book this property. I'd definitely come back and would definitely recommend.

The house was clean and had all we needed for a comfortable stay.
We loved the set up locally, with pools, gym and hot tub.
Having an access key to park at the local beach was also a great advantage.
