Appreciated that many necessary items (soap, towels, paper towels, dish soap) were provided which is not always the case in these rental properties.
The property otherwise was as pictured and described. There was one odd communication from property manager about having a plumber come in that we responded to but then never got a response on.

This is our second stay at this condo. On our first stay we were not only impressed with the condo, but even more the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner.
Like the first visit, Lin placed a plate of fresh fruit from her own farm in the kitchen to greet us. We even visited her farm and met Lin and her husband.
When we decided to go to Hawaii this time we immediately reserved this condo without even considering any others because we knew we would be happy with it and the host as well.
One has to be nit picking to find fault with this condo.
If we return to Hawaii again we will looking at this condo again. Thanks Lin!

Beautifully appointed and redecorated Condo at The Shores. This one bedroom Condo is a wonderful getaway for two people who want to relax in a quiet environment surrounded by the Hawaiian beauty. The sunrise and sunset from the Lani are conducive to contemplation and serenity. A must to return to in the new year!

I wanted to stay in a place that was slightly larger and more luxurious than i normally would stay at. The Shores Villa 1 didn't disappoint! I was impressed with the location and the style of the Villa. Didn't have to buy any sundries as the Villa was fully stocked with paper towels, toilet paper,, etc....I recommend this Villa for those who want luxury with convenience. I will be coming back for my next, 28th Hawaii vacation.

This was my second stay at this unit. Fantastic location close to several great beaches. Kitchen has everything you need to cook with and bbq’s are brand new. The lanai is perfect to enjoy breakfast and enjoy the beautiful landscape. Kerri is very accommodating and communicates well before and during your stay. Would recommend to anyone traveling to the big island.

This condo is nice. Nothing fancy but good for the price. The bed was comfortable enough. The pans and knives were great. No spices just S&P. The air turns off every 4 hours which was kind of a pain. I asked for more beach towels, there was only 2 and they were kids size. They were very prompt delivering. Vacasa was easy to deal with. Thanks for letting us stay!

Well stocked condo with easy ground floor access. Key pad access sensitive and quirky. Washer and dryer need a deep clean. Internet went out, but property management was responsive. Great to have beach chairs and snorkel equipment available. Suggest a drying rack fir wet towels and swim suits.

Amenities were good in the home, it had everything we needed. An information book would have been nice with direction to beaches, restaurants nearby and approximate distance as we wanted to walk rather than drive. We eventually figured it out but would help in planning.

We enjoyed beautiful sunsets from our lanai each evening. The condo was well appointed and beautifully decorated. Our managers were friendly and efficient. We had a wonderful vacation! Complex exterior was being repainted but it was a minor disturbance. The grounds were impeccably maintained. Would highly recommend and will be back for sure!

This is one of the best condos we have ever stayed in, comfortable and meticulously clean. The decorations and furnishings are exactly what I would have selected if I were doing it myself. We love the Shores for it's convenience to everything, and the beautiful surroundings. The pool and spa are wonderful. Most nights we had it to ourselves. Definately will book again next time we come to Kona.

Wow! One of the nicest vacation rentals I've stayed in. The attention to detail is great, from the fully stocked kitchen (silverware, pots/pans, dishes), beach towels and 2 chairs, TVs in every room, and washer/dryer. Ideal for a group of three or two couples, this spacious home was standout. The expansive lanai was my favorite with beautiful views of the golf course and was the perfect place for morning coffee. The property is in a quiet community with a clean pool, and is close to the massive Hilton resort which we explored a bit, but looks like you need a day pass for the Hilton pools.
Although there were tiny ants in the kitchen this was the only minor negative because the overall quality and cleanliness of the place was outstanding. Parking right in front followed by a flight of stairs up to the private entrance. I would gladly return to the Big Island just to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at The Shores at Waikoloa, Bo Tree Tower, Unit 138, The condo was very well-cleaned, nicely furnished and well-stocked, with useful provisions such as beach equipment.
The plant life around the unit provides some privacy, despite this being a ground floor location.
The management company, Vacasa, were very helpful in their communications and did well to make the property very welcoming and the check-in/check out process very simple.
The grounds at The Shores are very well-maintained, with updated amenities like the pool, hot-tub and gym. The Location also provides easy access to the beach and scenic walking trails as well as a large variety of shops and restaurants
I highly recommend this location to vacationers visiting this area.

We have family on the Big Island and always stay at Waikoloa Shores when we visit! This unit was perfect! It was just the two of us, so this one bedroom was beautiful and plenty spacious, even when family came to visit! It is beautifully decorated, fully equipped, and had a lovely, spacious lanai. The condo had an awesome view! We watched the sunrise every morning and the moon at night! It was conveniently located, close to the shops and beaches. Modern design, thoughtful features. Everything worked, air conditioning, doors, showers, toilets and the internet. The kitchen was well equipped. Parking was on site with no problems.

This property is located in a great resort village with easy access to shopping, restaurants, beaches, golfing and many other amenities. Most everything is within easy walking distance, and there are many paved pathways in the area. This is a super location for exploring the big island's many resources and is close to the airport and Kona. The condo was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The lanai was a perfect place to enjoy a cup of Kona coffee in the morning, with a nice breeze and colorful variety of visiting birds in the large tree adjacent. We would love to return!

We celebrated our 40th anniversary in Hawaii and Villa One was everything we were looking for and more. Villa One is a great luxury space for 2 couples. The two master suites were perfect. The location, decor and amenities were outstanding. We enjoyed breakfasts and evening drinks on the great lanai. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We also appreciated that beach items were available such as beach umbrellas, chairs and coolers. We will definitely recommend Villa One to our friends and family. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. It is clear that the owners take great pride in their place. I love condos that don't feel like a tunnel with a window at the end. This place has lots of glass, angles and light, the floors are beautiful, the king bed very comfortable and the kitchen fully equipped. There is also a great breeze by opening the windows at night. No A/C needed when we were there in July. It was also walking distance to the shoreline where there is a nice path along the rocky beach with beautiful vistas. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing vacation at Villa One. Talk about a home away from home! This luxury villa is tastefully decorated with beautiful art and had everything we needed to make our stay as relaxing as possible. Two master bedrooms ensured we all had our privacy and comfort. The large living and dining rooms were perfect for dinners and board games at night. The kitchen was stocked with everything you might need, including spices and oils. The lanai area was perfect for watching the sunset or just catching a glimpse of the ocean.
The location is just right—within walking distance to Kings' and Queens' Shops, Hilton, and Marriott. Tropics Ale House is right across the road, and they, hands down, have the best happy hour mai tais.
The host, Richard, was excellent. Booking online was very easy and straightforward, with no surprises. Richard was attentive, resourceful, and extremely responsive during our stay. The villa has a book with every activity and restaurant you might want to visit on the island. Ask Richard for suggestions ahead if you want to plan something (like I do). We’ve been to the Big Island many times, and I thought we’d done it all, yet we got so many great suggestions from Richard that were new to us.
I will definitely consider Villa One for our next visit to the Big Island and would recommend it to all our friends. Mahalo, Richard, for opening your beautiful Hawaiian home to us—we had a fantastic time!
