Beautiful home - so spacious and well appointed. They thought of everything, like the garage full of beach toys, inner tubes, pool noodles (in which I love to float in the ocean), plenty of nice beach chairs and umbrellas!
The kitchen was well stocked with pans to cook with. The community was beautiful and so clean.

Three couples stayed at this amazing house. We did not want for anything as this home had everything we could possibly need. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the things. Beach towels, beach toys, ice chest, beach chairs and even sunscreen for everyone’s use. Beds were very comfortable and there was room for everyone in the living room. The community pool was within walking distance as was foodland. Shampoo was in all bathrooms and even boxes of Kleenex. There is nothing missing in this home. You will not be disappointed if you stay in this property for your Hawaiian vacation.

This was the best house we've ever rented. I visited with my wife, SIL, and my 7 year old and 4 year old. Everyone was happy with the property. The house included everything we needed for the stay. Normally one of these rentals doesn't have a basic item you need and you have to run to the store for it. The house had everything we needed for the 8 days we were there. The hose outside of the hose was broken when we arrived, and I let them know that day. It was replaced the next morning. We really enjoyed the stay and really enjoyed the house.

Communication with the owners was awesome. We contacted them a few times with questions about the area and ideas on where we could renew our vows in a secluded area. They were so helpful and just in case you are looking for a place to do just that, it’s right down the street and absolutely amazing!
The kitchen- beautiful granite, high end Wold stove, vent and wall oven and sub-zero refrigerator. Tons of space. Lots of spices and basics to cook with.
Lanai- we spent so much time hanging out together outside. Great dining space and outdoor kitchen for grilling, and comfortable outdoor furniture to have coffee, wine, etc.
Three spacious bedrooms each with their own private attached bathroom. Perfect for couples traveling together. The owners suite is beautiful and huge! The bed was firm but very comfortable foam.
The garage has plenty of snorkel masks and fins, beach cooler, beach umbrellas and even a few pairs of water socks in case you forget yours.
The Mauna Lani beach which is available for your use and free. Not really walkable just a quick 5 min. Drive. We also loved the petroglyph beach which is just north of the Fairmont Orchid for its beauty and privacy but it is definitely not a swimming beach. Tons of beautiful white coral and black lava rock. Just stunning. This is where we renewed our vows. It is 2 min. From the home.

Beautiful place, such a quiet and peaceful neighborhood with easy access to just about everything (grocery, Mauna Lani beach club, black sand beach, hapuna, everything). Gorgeous interior with high end finishes, and we even got to see a sunset from the outdoor terrace. It was also quick and easy to get ahold of the property owner if we needed something. I would definitely stay here again!!

We had an absolutely amazing time. This home is beautiful, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed being here and will *definitely* be coming back! The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, the bedrooms, bathrooms and closets are extremely spacious and the fun beach gear (chairs, noodles, umbrellas, bikes, coolers) made our beach days perfect. One of the biggest bonuses of this amazing home is the access to the private beach about 1 mile from the house. It’s perfect. There are lounge chairs, a *nice* bathroom steps away, a full bar (Mai Tais were incredible) and the clearest water to snorkel in. The bay is small but large enough for simple activities (floating, snorkeling, etc). The setting is gorgeous and serene. We loved spending time there. Overall, this was one of the best vacations and vacation homes we’ve stayed in. Thank you for taking such great care of this place for your guests. It is very much appreciated!

Property was well maintained and between the property owner and property manager it was outfitted with all the vacation gear you would want and the property manager made the whole rental process stress free. We have rented a number of vacation properties and we rate this our best experience thanks to the property and property manager.

A wonderful setting with perfect accommodations for a family. Private, easy access to the beach, golf, etc. The house was exactly as described and included plenty of space for our family of 7. Nice pool/spa and backyard area for enjoying the out of doors, bbq, eating space. Kitchen had everything you could need or want for cooking. Interior tastefully decorated. Lots of beach gear as well.
Definitely on our list for another vacation. Highly recommend!

We loved this place! It’s huge, stunning, spotless and very well equipped. The location is so convenient for the Kohala beaches, groceries and shops. And the beach club access is AMAZING! The property is lovely and wonderfully situated in the Mauna Lani area. Access to the private beach and cove was a definite plus. Hapuna Beach Recreation Area is conveniently located just up the road.
The kitchen has top-of-the-line appliances and a very large complement of pans, utensils, plates, glasses and silverware. It was ideal for our stay with our grandkids. Everything about this place is absolutely first rate, and we have absolutely no reservations about recommending it highly.

Overall home decor is cheap and outdated (to put it kindly). Add to that a long list of deferred maintenance and condition problems, all of which we brought to Vacasa's attention within the first 2 days of our stay. But only 1 issue was addressed while we were there (HVAC filters clogged with 4 years of dust and debris were replaced).
Problems include: VERY FILTHY entry/kitchen/dining/living room tile. Dirty and stained carpets throughout. Scuffed walls. Burned out light bulbs in the oven and in one bedroom. Dirty windows. Screens missing from some windows. Bathroom and shower floors filthy, with black gooey grout in places. One toilet rocks back and forth (not secured to floor). Most bath faucets lined in dirt and crud at the base. Master shower door sweep literally orange-brown with years of caked scum. Cheap bedding and towels, some threadbare. Dirty and stained dining room chair seats. Dusty light fixtures with old spiderwebs. Rusty dishwasher rack. Outdoor BBQ so filthy and covered in grease it caught on fire while cooking a small steak (which burned and had to be thrown out). Lanai tile floor filthy (especially near the BBQ) and all seating areas dirty and unusable. Ironing board cover flapped around loose and unattached due to stretched out elastic. Slow-draining sink in one bathroom. Refrigerator water filter is expired and fridge service light on (refrigerator runs constantly; coils and air filter undoubtedly clogged). A couple loose and wobbly dining room chair legs. Master bedroom bench legs also loose and wobbly. And on and on. All documented with photos and videos.
Vacasa could have remedied many if not most of these issues while we were there. But all they could manage was “sorry for your inconvenience” corporate b.s. Overall a frustrating and disappointing experience.

Lex and Cheri's condo is absolutely beautiful inside and out and has everything you need for your vacation stay. We stayed there with our daughter and family and loved the closeness of the pool and the ease of getting into the Beach Club (Makaiwa) where there is wonderful snorkeling and swimming and even a restaurant. The Mauna Lani/South Kohala area is exquisite, and you will love exploring the area while staying at this spacious and beautifully decorated condo. An extra bonus is the Supermarket is only a minute or two away. Communication with the owners was quick and easy. Definitely a 5 star stay!

Beautiful house ! From the moment we all walked in we felt relaxed, like being at home. The property exactly as described, maybe better. Well stocked with family games and beach needs. We enjoyed the access to the beach club, great for kids and adults to snorkel, also great food.
Easy check in process and very detailed book for guests. There was 6 adults and 2 toddlers, perfect for all of us.

Wow is all I can say!. I have been to many beaches in the Hawaiin Islands and the private beach is the most family friendly beach I have ever been to. The property is located in a quiet gated community. We really liked the feeling of being away from crowds. If you want to experience a slice of Hawaii this is the place to bring your family.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was truly luxurious. The owners have spared no expense to ensure guests are comfortable. It felt like staying at the home of a close friend or family member. The pool and spa within the gated community are great and a short walk from the home. We also enjoyed runs and walks to and from the Fairmont and adjacent beach. The beach club/private beach is also incredible, and a short drive from the house. It is a good place to snorkel, wander around the adjacent fish ponds, and watch sunsets. The beach club restaurant is pricey, but the food and service are solid. We walked to the small shopping center adjacent to the gated community multiple times during our stay for groceries, meals (Mexican restaurant and taproom are great), and shopping. We would definitely rent this home again.

We booked our stay here for my entire family (consisting of 9 people - 6 adults, 2 teens and 1 toddler). The house had everything we could need for our stay - including all beach gear, a pack and play, high chair, beach wagon. There were so many amenities which made it much easier to travel with a big group of different ages. The house was very clean and well maintained. The owner was very quick to respond to any issues that arose. We love staying on the Big Island and in the Mauna Lani community - especially with having access to the Mauna Lani amenities. We love forward to visiting again in the future!

My daughter & 2 teenage granddaughters stayed here for a week over the 4th of July. Steve & Maryanne were gracious hosts & very quick to respond to all our questions. Such a beautiful, clean & safe condo with plenty of room to spread out. Also, the extras we could use, like the boogie boards, snorkeling masks, beach chairs, a cooler, etc were so awesome. We also found the private beach club set up to be wonderful! We used the beach club multiple days and even into the evenings. On the roundabout coming into the condo village we also enjoyed the grocery store for quick meals, the juice bar for acai bowls, and the coffee shop. About one mile up the coast was the best public beach - Hapuna State Park beach (free), plenty of parking and wonderful for boogie boarding.

It is an excellent property in a family-friendly location with the best amenities for a perfect vacation. Everything in the house is clean and useful, and the kitchen is just amazing with all the tools that we need. There are also snorkeling gear, pool noodles, and bikes in the garage for us to use, which is great. My teenage son even learned how to bike when we were there! I highly recommend the Sea to Sky property to anyone who is looking for a great vacation with their family.

Beautiful spacious home. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the appliances were top of the line. Beds were very comfortable. The garage contained all the items for a perfect day at the beach. The ground level lanai had a very nice outdoor kitchen and eating space. Communication with the owners was prompt and fantastic. Access to the Mauna Lani beach was perfect for my family, a great place to learn how to snorkel. A very clean property in a quiet location. We would 100% stay here again!

Group of us stayed here for the Honu Half Ironman. The house is beautiful & was clean upon our arrival. Laura and Ray are great and responsive hosts and unfortunately had to deal with multiple maintenance issues during our stay. The AC unit was not working efficiently upon our arrival and the hosts dropped down the temp virtually. Couple days later the AC unit fully stopped working and a service man had to come the following day during our dinner to fix it. Unfortunately this was a temporary fix as the AC unit broke again a day and a half later. During our 12 day stay we had 4 service calls to our property. We had requested a partial refund for the stay which the hosts denied but offered a discount on future stays. Unfortunately we have no plans on returning to the Island as a group. Laura and Ray were great and responsive throughout the issues but disappointing on their refund stance as we didn't receive the comfort and amenities that we paid for. Lesson learned to all is if you have any issues or troubles with your stay, make VRBO aware right away to start a ticket as doing it directly with the host after the fact won't work.

What a truly AMAZING home to stay in while visiting the big island. Perfectly situated outside of Kona if you are exploring the island! This home is absolutely stunning with beautiful private bedrooms and bathrooms and all the amenities to make our vacation relaxing and efficient…. It allowed our family to spread out and also join together on the main level to cook and relax in the evenings after our long days on the island. Directly across from the pool and also a beach pass to the most beautiful beach Mauna Lani. The layout and the artwork in this home were pure perfection. the house, located in a gated community was exactly as pictured if not better. A bit away from beach, not within walking distance to any attraction, very quiet neighborhood. Perfect for the vacation where you want to get away from daily hustle. The whole house layout was perfect with kitchen and living room along with master bedroom upstairs. The patio was huge, unfortunately we didn't get to use it (I did try to light up the BBQ and could not make it to work). The only complaint I have is that at check-in I was not able to reach anybody listed as point of contact. I tried to call them because we were having a very hard time opening the garage door. Luckily, we were able to find the house and let us in. It was good that my reason to contact them was not an emergency. I would suggest them be a bit more specific with regards of how to get to the house.
