The unit was clean and modern, with updated appliances and comfortable furniture. The location was fantastic - walking distance to A-Bay, along with other activities, such as golf, the dolphin quest, and the luau. There are plenty of restaurants right in the area. All in all, a perfect home base for our adventures on Hawaii!

This is a very spacious 2-bedroom suite on the top (3rd) floor, with two spacious balconies, one overlooking the golf course and the other overlooking the beach and sunsets. It is immaculately maintained, with all of the household equipment which you could ask for. It is a few hundred metres from the King's Shops and the Queen's Shops, which offer all of the services you need.

This property was ideal for our stay, a family of 4, with 2 young kids. The unit felt larger and more spacious than what the photos show. The overall complex is not new, but that only helps contrast further at how the owners of the unit have updated/upgraded this particular unit.The view of the ocean from the living room and patio is better than the photo as well. It was a great view to wake up to each day. The building that this unit is in is situated on a slight hill, giving the top floor, which this unit is on, what I presume is a better view than other units in other buildings in this complex that are on the top floor.The living room/dining room/kitchen are all very open and inviting. The kitchen had all of the cookware, plates, dishwasher soap tabs, etc that we needed, with up to date appliances.The pool is located right next to the building and an easy, short walk.The beds were all comfortable. The bathrooms were well supplied with soap, shampoo, towels, etc.The A/C unit worked well and helped during the 80 degree days and the windows and patio doors appeared to be well sealed, to help control climate.The parking spot is a few steps from the elevator. The parking spaces can feel a little snug, with everyone, including myself, renting a large SUV.And if you golf, you're "next door" to a few courses.

My husband and I and our 2 children ages 4 and 1 year were able to comfortably stay in this ground level unit with all the amenities of home. Though great for families we did have to bring our own pack n play for baby to sleep in. Not a deal breaker for us considering Joe was upfront about not having one available. The lanai was situated right next to the putting green and course restaurant making it easy to walk and grab a drink and an appetizer. The pool was heated and shallow, great for our young kids. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit Waikaloa

Kitchen was was incredibly equipped including all the tiki barware and a chilled bottle of bubbly in the fridge. Big fluffy beach towels and toys and the view was perfect. We spent 7 nights and this was our third stay at Vista Waikoloa but first time at this particular property. Monica was a responsive host and worked to make our stay pleasant, especially when we found the lanai and all windows and doors taped up for painting on our arrival (through no fault of the host). The condo was nicely decorated and comfortable, with a view of the pool and the ocean. Saltwater lap pool is a big draw for this complex, but it seemed to have a little too much chemical this time and was actually too warm. Cleanliness of the lanai (probably due to painting process) could have been better, but overall a nice property that we would recommend!

Kona is Puiwa! The beautiful condo was a perfect location to launch our adventures. It had all the amenities we needed! 2 bedrooms with king beds and attached bathrooms were perfect for 2 couples. A gorgeous upgraded kitchen. Beach chairs and umbrellas for lazy days on Kona’s amazing beaches! Sunsets on the lanai were incredible. The location allowed us easy access to Volcanoes National Park as well as other parts of the island. Totally recommend this condo…5 Stars!

Also had beach chairs, towels and beach tote. Lanai is 20 meters from the pool. It was all great. I'd also say communication with owner was superb, as they were friendly, prompt, and helpful.

We have been to the big island several times. Waikoloa is definitely our favorite area. The entire resort area itself is beautiful with several nearby sandy beaches and calm water. Our unit at the Vista Waikoloa was exactly what we wanted, up to date, roomy, a short walk to beautiful ABay and to the shopping centers and restaurants, a warm pool and 2 hot tubs, and very few people. I don't see how anyone could be disappointed. The hosts were very responsive, each time getting back to us within a few minutes. Definitely a 5 star place all around, down to the beds and linens!

So we have stayed in Waikoloa Beach area several times over the last 4 years. All locations we have stayed at have been nice and convenient for shops, beach, eating etc, the whole area is beautiful!
This condo had great sunset, water, and golf courses views!
The only draw back was that it sits near a small intersection(stop sign). So sleeping with the doors/windows open you would hear cars every once in a while. It’s only a 25 mph road and a stop sign.
The restaurant Tropics Ale House was about a 3-5 minute walk from the front door of the condo, the food and service was amazing! We ate here for convenience several times! But there are several other great restaurants we ate at in the community and they were all very good also!
Someone in another comment said there was no elevator, which is funny because it was literally straight out from the front door only 12 steps away, I counted them, lol. We only used it for moving in and out.
This unit has one of the best parting spots in the area, in the shade under a tree and right next to the sidewalk to the stairs!
The actual ocean is maybe a 7-10 minute walk. Down the stairs, out the condo community gate, walk to the intersection, cross the street walk about a block and down the trail through the fish ponds and you are at the ocean. You can see the path from the lanai of this unit. We raced down there one evening with only about 5 mins before sunset and got to waters edge just after it had set, was still amazing!

This lovely, spacious, property was well described and written up. We had plenty of space as we made our decision to stay in a vrbo as opposed to a hotel. It is a quiet community. Super relaxing pace. Golf courses nearby traveled in a wheelchair and rollator. The apartment suited my needs very well. We enjoyed cooking a few meals in the ample kitchen.The wrap around deck was lovely and overlooked a fabulous pool and hot tubs. Well-situated locale 35 minutes north of Kona. Plentiful restaurant choices and shopping nearby.
