We loved staying in this luxurious and spacious ground floor condo. It faces Mauna Kea on the golf course and the sunrises are stunning. The unit has a lovely Hawaiian theme and the linens and towels are high quality. The kitchen is well equipped and includes many staples. The owner’s attention to detail helps create a relaxing and fulfilling vacation.

We truly enjoyed this vacation rental. My husband and I as well as our 2 children traveled tot he Big Island for Thanksgiving break. The condo is spacious and very clean. The lanai was a large and inviting place to lounge and have meals on. We made good use of the beach equipment provided ( beach towels, cooler, cooler blocks, chairs, umbrella, sand toys, boogie boards etc) The kitchen is well stocked. The coffee maker was not working and they brought a new one within a few hours of us notifying management. FYI, there is a regular coffee maker as well as a Nespresso coffee maker. So bring your own cups if you have. We also had an issue with the TV and that was fixed with an hour or two. The condo was situated in a great area with great walkability to the Queen and Kings shops that offered a variety f places to eat. There is also a small grocery store there. It is also within walking distance to A-Bay as well as the Hilton resort. We would definitely reccommend this rental to anyone going to the Big Island. One thing that I would like to suggest in terms of supplies is supplying the condo with stainless steel drinkware. We've stayed at many places and they have always had these types of cups and it makes it a more pleasant experience to drink a cold beverage when it is warm outside.

We spent 7 nights and this was our third stay at Vista Waikoloa but first time at this particular property. Monica was a responsive host and worked to make our stay pleasant, especially when we found the lanai and all windows and doors taped up for painting on our arrival (through no fault of the host). The condo was nicely decorated and comfortable, with a view of the pool and the ocean. Saltwater lap pool is a big draw for this complex, but it seemed to have a little too much chemical this time and was actually too warm. Cleanliness of the lanai (probably due to painting process) could have been better, but overall a nice property that we would recommend!

Kona is Puiwa! The beautiful condo was a perfect location to launch our adventures. It had all the amenities we needed! 2 bedrooms with king beds and attached bathrooms were perfect for 2 couples. A gorgeous upgraded kitchen. Beach chairs and umbrellas for lazy days on Kona’s amazing beaches! Sunsets on the lanai were incredible. The location allowed us easy access to Volcanoes National Park as well as other parts of the island. Totally recommend this condo…5 Stars!

No reservations giving this a five star review. Condo was spacious for our family of four, extremely well equipped kitchen, very clean and comfortable. Lots of board games. Also had beach chairs, towels and beach tote. Lanai is 20 meters from the pool. It was all great. I'd also say communication with owner was superb, as they were friendly, prompt, and helpful.

The apartment is very comfortable. The view is magnificent. The location is perfect in Waikoloa near markets and beach. The residence is quiet. The garden is well maintained. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are superb.
An ideal holiday but not without faults.
We underwent renovation work on the balcony during our stay. This was not planned when booking. We were only notified when we arrived on site. The manager told us about a day of work. However, we were deprived of a balcony for 3 days. This is not acceptable given the price paid.

We have been to the big island several times. Waikoloa is definitely our favorite area. The entire resort area itself is beautiful with several nearby sandy beaches and calm water. Our unit at the Vista Waikoloa was exactly what we wanted, up to date, roomy, a short walk to beautiful ABay and to the shopping centers and restaurants, a warm pool and 2 hot tubs, and very few people. I don't see how anyone could be disappointed. The hosts were very responsive, each time getting back to us within a few minutes. Definitely a 5 star place all around, down to the beds and linens!

So we have stayed in Waikoloa Beach area several times over the last 4 years. All locations we have stayed at have been nice and convenient for shops, beach, eating etc, the whole area is beautiful!
This condo had great sunset, water, and golf courses views!
The only draw back was that it sits near a small intersection(stop sign). So sleeping with the doors/windows open you would hear cars every once in a while. It’s only a 25 mph road and a stop sign.
The restaurant Tropics Ale House was about a 3-5 minute walk from the front door of the condo, the food and service was amazing! We ate here for convenience several times! But there are several other great restaurants we ate at in the community and they were all very good also!
Someone in another comment said there was no elevator, which is funny because it was literally straight out from the front door only 12 steps away, I counted them, lol. We only used it for moving in and out.
This unit has one of the best parting spots in the area, in the shade under a tree and right next to the sidewalk to the stairs!
The actual ocean is maybe a 7-10 minute walk. Down the stairs, out the condo community gate, walk to the intersection, cross the street walk about a block and down the trail through the fish ponds and you are at the ocean. You can see the path from the lanai of this unit. We raced down there one evening with only about 5 mins before sunset and got to waters edge just after it had set, was still amazing!

This lovely, spacious, property was well described and written up. We had plenty of space as we made our decision to stay in a vrbo as opposed to a hotel. It is a quiet community. Super relaxing pace. Golf courses nearby traveled in a wheelchair and rollator. The apartment suited my needs very well. We enjoyed cooking a few meals in the ample kitchen.The wrap around deck was lovely and overlooked a fabulous pool and hot tubs. Well-situated locale 35 minutes north of Kona. Plentiful restaurant choices and shopping nearby.

After staying in a Vista Waikoloa property nearly 10 years ago, we felt comfortable staying in this area again. D101 was a wonderful home-base for our family trip. Furnishings were clean and comfortable and made us feel at home. The pool is possibly the family favorite for any place we have stayed.
We love the location for moving up and down the Kona side of the island, but it worked well for our trip to Hilo too. Vista Waikoloa is close to multiple beaches, shops, a gas station, and vacation activities.
Our only disappointment on the trip was the lack of great food in the area. This was solved with a trip to Costco for food supplies...our favorite meals were cooked at the condo or on the community grills (very nice) at the complex.
Would gladly stay in D101 again!
