Well, I'm serious. We've stayed at this place probably a dozen times in the last 15 years. It's fantastic - too many things to do a review justice. The place itself is wonderful. We literally feel like we're living in Kauai when we stay there. It has everything we need. Also, the view of Hanalei Bay and the ocean can't be beat. The sun sets outside of the back yard. It's magical. We also love the proximity of this place to so many other places we love - like Queens Bath and the hiking all around the area.

Our room was perfect for a week-- excellent views, love the shower fixtures, awesome mattress. We thought it was a great value, and especially loved the easy walk to the beach and access to Hanalei 1--- the coffee shop. Would love to return soon- had the best time!!!!

Our stay at this place was wonderful! We are repeat customers and have stayed here for a few years now. It is always a perfect condo with beautiful views on the balcony and quiet. It is centrally located on the resort next to the pool, tennis courts, and lawn with an amazing sunset view. We will come back again.

This unit has a beautiful view and is comfortable for 2 people. However, it is showing it's age and needs a bit of updating. My husband and I needed to work every day while we were there and this was challenging since there is not a desk or writing table. We accomplished 2 work stations by one of us on the lanai at the high top small table small table and inside using the bedside table. The "kitchenette" is just a small refrigerator, coffee pot and a microwave in the closet. As this is a private property on the resort, you can't get more towels, replacement wine openers, ironing boards, etc., if needed. We were left one hand towel and one wash cloth for 2 people for a 4 day stay. Not worth contacting the property manager as it was a minor inconvenience but it would be nice to have more towels.
We had never been too Kauai and absolutely loved it. Definitely would come to this island again.

This property is even more beautiful in person. Everything about the condo was accurately portrayed. It had everything we needed and then some. It’s spacious, designed well and clean. There was plenty of beach gear to use as well. The views from this place are unmatched. I also loved that the property was part of a resort with access to restaurants and a nice pool. The beach was shared with the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay so felt like a little private beach. The only downside to this place is the steep walk up and down to the beach. This was not a big deal for us. Also, they have a golf cart you can call to take you to and from the beach. I say book without reservation! I would definitely stay here again.

We were immediately wowed from the minute we walked into this property, the views are just incredible! It was very clean, had everything we needed for the kitchen and laundry and included beach equipment as well. Sitting on the Lanai and taking in the beauty as well as the bird sounds were the favorite parts of our stay but we also loved the amazing pool area, and Happy Talk restaurant, and had no issues with the walk although the cart transportation was always available and very easy to secure. We found everything true to the listing. This was a special place and we will be back someday!

My partner and I loved the room and the view and accommodations.I also feel very deceived and frustrated. I will share the accounting. The description states there are extra fees at the resort, and lists them. Thats after the $200 cleaning fee and random host extra fee of $31. Ok then it states there is $20/day extra and $25/day extra and GET tax per day. And $50 extra to check in, and Another check in fee of $7., andThen the $500 deposit that wasnt mentioned, i come to find out theres also a $245 charge from the resort with no explanation in it and an additional stream of 14% transient taxes per person per day! I am still battling w VRBO but they blame the host for the deception, then the host i try to contact doesnt respond and then blames the resort. So everyone kind of blaming anf lying but mostly just taking my money with no disclosure and in one case absolutely no explanation for $245.All total, i my CC was billed just under $1800 for 3 days of stay, and im just hoping to get ny $500 deposit back. This ad and this disclosure was and is atrocious. And at the same time i enjoyed the resort stay but would NEVER pay $1300 for 3 nights at a 3star resort! are u kidding me? Im going to keep fighting this but just want people to know EVEN w the host disclosure in the ad, THERE WILL STILL BE HUNDREDS MORE DOLLARS TAKENWhew ok so after reading the ad for $135/day stay for 3 nights

The view from this unit’s balcony is reason enough to stay here. On top of that, the space is clean and comfortable…just as shown in the listing. And the staff on property couldn’t have been more welcoming, kind and helpful. The location is great for those wanting to explore the North Shore. We enjoyed breakfast at Hanalei Bread Company. An intimate luau at Tahiti Nui. And a boat tour of the Nepali Coast and snorkeling at Tunnels Beach with Nepali Catamaran. We also enjoyed lunch at 1 Kitchen at the neighboring resort. And dinner at Happy Talk Lounge at our resort. We also enjoyed the beach on property and rented a kayak and SUP to explore the bay and river. Highly recommend!

Our stay was excellent!! The resort was in the most beautiful place and the beach was SUPER close with golf cart rides to it if needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. We got beach and jungle all in one! (And the pool was pretty awesome too.) We had conjoined rooms which were exactly what we needed. The kids got one room and we got the other, while still being able to spend time together as a family. We both had kitchens, which was also helpful. And, the washer/ dryer was a huge bonus. I will also add that we have a special needs kid, and these rooms were perfect for us. Not only was everything easily accessed, there was also a ton in the kitchens for cooking, meds, etc. would absolutely stay here again.

The unit:
10/10. Very luxurious and high end interior, every piece of furniture, appliances, dishes etc were upscale. The decor was simple yet very tasteful. I could purchase this property as is tomorrow. The kitchen was full loaded, and the second unit also had a small kitchenette Incase a couple wants to rent. We were 2 adults and 2 teens and the space was perfect. The view was breathtaking, lush green with multiple pieces of patio furniture. All bedrooms overlooked the bay/the mountains and perfectly groomed property. While we couldn't watch sunsets directly from our patio, we could see it walking just few steps up. If you really must see sunsets, then maybe id recommend 2nd floor units in building 9 (9000 series). The owners were also very helpful.
The property:
Excellent property, again 10/10. What's not to like here. The pool is big, resort style, the hot tub is fantastic with sand in the bottom, two very lovely restaurants with good drinks, pizza and food, making it very lively end of the day. Lots of lawn games, pickleball court, tennis courts. It's huge but they have golf carts help you out, we never really had to wait to pick us up, but majority of the times we just loved walking around. The pathway to the beach below is paved and lovely with tropical feel. Sunsets from that beach were phenomenal. One Hanalei hotel is right on that beach if anyone wants to go their pool bar to have drinks. The staff was very friendly. It is just 10-15 min drive to Hanal

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. The unobstructed views of Hanalei Bay from right outside on the back porch could not be beat! Sitting out there watching the sunsets was one of the highlights of our trip. It was absolutely stunning! The condo was very clean, roomy, and comfortable for our group of 7. It was one of the absolute best places I've ever stayed.

The whole family had a wonderful vacation. The view from the patio can't be beat and we spent a lot of time just taking it in. We rented all three rooms for me and my husband, my parents and my daughters 2 and 4. We had everything we needed and had plenty of space for everyone. The pool and beach were great and the kids loved the Koi ponds at check in.
The adjoining hotel style doors between units were a little tricky with small children because we couldn't close them all the way during nap time without them being locked from one side.
We definitely would love to stay here again and would recommend it!

Elizabeth He dricks was a very responsive hosts and the unit had everything we needed, from TV, to fridge, supplies for the beach and a great view to wake up to every am. The grounds were super nice with brach and pool access and also close to 1 Hotel which eas nice. I will be back

We loved this condo and the resort in general. The resort has excellent amenities - great pool, wonderful beach nearby, restaurants with good food and drinks.
The condo has an incredible lanai which is in the shade most of the day. We rented all three bedrooms for our family of 6 adults and it never felt crowded and we all had our own private spaces, which is nice.
The kitchen is nicely appointed and they have a lot of gear in each of the bedrooms with things like boogie boards and beach chairs.
The only issue is the mattresses were old and uncomfortable.
Overall we've had a wonderful stay and seriously you don't get a better view.

No units look into your unit (or you theirs)–only see people on lanais. Ate at home most nights, kitchen has everything needed, cooked or used grills at small pool. Grateful for blender (breakfast shakes & cocktails), potato masher and my fave frying pans (can use to bake a cake). Unit itself is dated in many aspects, but completely serviceable. Except maybe the shower head which is crazy pain in the butt-hope they change soon. Bed is comfy. AC works great if you even need it. Maybe not a luxury unit but definitely a luxury view!! There for a full month & loved every second. Why go out for mediocre food/cocktails when you have this view! Parking can be tricky-not enough spaces for # of guests. However, if full, valet will park you. Completely fine leaving golf clubs in car overnight, we had blanket to cover from view. Also a trek from parking lot to unit-used comp golf cart service at checkin/out & lugging groceries. Used golf cart when taking stuff to beach (unit has chairs, boards, noodles, snorkel gear, soft coolers). Tried lots of beaches & found the one below & Anini best for easy access & snorkeling. Even being on far north side, we easily did everything all the way around. 1.5 hr drive to Poipu once/wk for golf, but lush green Kauai made drive nicer than similar drive on, say, Maui. Every other day we drove to Kapaa or Lihue for golf. Great Farmers markets for fruits/veggies! Lots of rain AND sunshine = rainbows & waterfalls. Is all just SPECTACULAR from this lanai!

The property is well-maintained, the staff is super friendly and helpful. The views are spectacular. You have access to a private beach for an incredible snorkeling experience. The Happy Talk Bar and Grill has excellent food and drinks. The resort is close to dining, shopping, and golf. The resort also has a beautiful pool if you don't want to go to the beach. Barbecues are nearby if wish to stay in and cook.

This is located inside the Hanalei Bay Resort, which is a stunning property, giving you the ultimate views of Hanalei and the Napali Coast mountains. Even better, this rental gives you that view right from your balcony!
Also welcomed is the lively outdoor sports bar located right at your resort (open 3pm-9pm) with good food, tropical drinks, and again that stunning view right from your table.
The room itself is a hotel room (no laundry or cooking facilities allowed in the rooms), yet is nevertheless fitted out as a fully equipped kitchen, so you can easily make your own continental breakfast or picnic lunch from the nearby grocery store. (There is a fridge).
There are also lots of beach accessories, great books, great WiFi and good cable TV.
The resort itself has good common laundry rooms, vending & ice machines, all sorts of activities, and a fantastic golf-cart service that runs sunrise to sunset to take you down to the beach and back if you don't want to do the 10 minute walk (it's actually a very easy and beautiful walk through the resort grounds). The little beach is gorgeous, and is shared by the guests staying at the very $$$ "1 Hotel" next door. We found we could easily visit their beach bar too, if desired. BTW - one reviewer said it was possible to walk from this little beach to Hanalei, but we didn't see that as a safe or plausible option for us. Driving from the resort to Hanalei takes about 15 minutes, walking along the road takes an hour says Google.

Nice studio, best part was the lanai. Has a coffee maker and small fridge. Nice having a/c and a ceiling fan. The ceiling fan was impossible to reach with the high ceiling so we just left it alone. Good thing the bellman was strong as this unit is on the 3rd floor with only stairs!

I rarely write reviews and do not want to sound negative, but I want to mention a few things that I would have liked to of read prior to our visit..
Unit is generally nice, has pretty views and is very private. We met the cleaner just as it was getting ready for us to start our stay, about 20 minutes before 4:00. Unit seemed "quick-cleaned." It was mostly clean; the tile floors were dusty/crunchy in some common areas and really dirty under some of the furniture. The recliner chair in the front room was super dusty; we put a comforter over it during our stay. My daughter found a couple used Band-Aids in the roll out bed, not sure if they were left by previous guests on purpose but kinda gross.
The master bedroom mattress was very comfortable. The fitted sheet did not fit but the mattress was good quality. The fan in the only bathroom never worked. It was looked at and a "part" was ordered but it never functioned during our week. This made the bathroom essentially a closet.
The unit had chairs, boogie boards, and snorkel gear that we appreciated.
Some of the furniture in the unit, like the bedroom furniture, is light weight and just lower quality. I don't want to beat this place up, it's decent, but unlike places we have stayed in the past this unit appears to be a full time rental and not frequented by any owner. It's just a little banged up like rentals can get. I would recommend it in a pinch, it works, but for the money I would consider other options as well.

This property was beautiful and luxurious in every way. We spent most of our time here at the pool. The two adjoining rooms were great, however one side (7101) had a distinct "weed" smell in it that was bothersome. The other side was very comfortable and included pretty much everything you could need (although a pizza pan would have been great!). This unit is on the bottom floor, which does allow a sliver of sunset viewing, but don't expect to see a lot. To get down to the beach, a steep hike of almost a mile down is involved (and then a steep hike up afterwards). There is a shuttle you can take although we didn't use it. The parking is not close to the unit, so again, a shuttle was needed when we were checking in and out. We are fairly fit and active people so all of the walking didn't bother us, just want to note that for others--this definitely would have been an issue for my parents. Also to note, the Hanalei Bay Resort is fairly secluded from Hanalei the town. It's a good drive in--not walkable at all--to get groceries, eat meals (if you don't eat at their restaurant), get sunscreen or get a spot on the beach for the day.
