Good - The unit was spacious and quiet with convenient parking and easy access to main road. Towels, beach chairs and other amenities were plentiful. No roaches or other pests were observed inside unit. Trash disposal close by. AC worked fine.
Bad - Patio faced the parking lot and street; no privacy. King bed in the master sagged badly in the middle. Clothes washer was filthy; rubber door seal full of hair and slimy mildew. Refrigerator water dispenser leaked. Key fob for access to pool was missing.

Exceptional location. 5 minutes walk to the beach to watch the turtles come onto the beach. There are BBQs you can use for free on the complex and a Safeway only 2 miles away. The condo was amazing - views were out of this world and the condo had everything you needed

The location was great but the unit is unbearably HOT! Only air is in the bedroom. Any time we were in the unit we had to stay in the bedroom. No TV in bedroom and a tiny tv in the living room. For the price I thought it was ridiculous you don’t keep up the condo. Carpet looks dirty, bathroom has build up all in the shower and tub. Felt dirty to me. 8 nights we got 2 towels a piece. You can’t put your towels on the balcony to dry which is ridiculous it’s a beach condo 🙄 Also one beach chair. Where will the other person sit? No ice chest and we bought a bunch of food thinking we could pack food on our days out. Nope couldn’t. Again unbearable heat inside and it was tough to cook because it got even hotter and we had to eat in the bedroom. I’ll never rent this unit again!

This place is the best spot to stay in! Close to the beach (just a few min on a beautiful walk). Also very close to shops and other gorgeous beaches. They had all the beach necessities (cooler, boogie boards, fins, umbrella and chairs. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The home is decorated nicely. There is a nice breeze however the portable air conditioning is a necessity.

Clean -nice pool-in the middle where you can travel easily to either side of island -we did carry extra change of clothes so we didn’t have to travel back and forth. Nice walk to beach-liked the athletic club-all pots and pans needed-washer/dryer was perfect-hanging clothes line worked great in doors-warm in the living room-used all fans and used great working AC unit in bedroom. Comfortable inside and out-didn’t care for Joes had a great dinner at merrimans. Overall didn’t want to keave.

This is a wonderful property for the space and location. The condo is very spacious, comfortable furnishings, a well stocked kitchen, clean and quiet. The property manager communicates really well. The location is central to everything in Poipu. We really enjoyed walking down each night to the beach I. The evening and eating our dinner there.
We also enjoyed the lanai with the ocean view.
During our stay, there was a heat wave, so definitely needed the portable ACs and also needed the property manager to bring in a third portable AC. If you are going during months where it is going to be mid to upper 80s, You will need to pay the add on fee for the portable ACs.
But overall, we were really happy with the property. Thanks Mike!

Close to pool, close to beaches, close to restaurants.
There is some deferred maintenance on this property - the jalousie windows in the bedrooms are stuck; can't be opened further nor closed. The warm air coming in all day and night forces the A/C in the master bedroom to run constantly and that is the only room that benefits from the cooling.

Our first time to Kauai and it was nothing short of incredible. The check-in staff was accommodating and friendly, especially to my 4-year-old daughter. Check-in was a breeze.
The condo itself was great. It had everything we needed for our stay; from dishes to linens. Everything was clean and made us feel right at home for our trip. The only downfall was there was no central AC, but there is an AC in the room which worked perfectly. If you open up the windows right, you can get the cross-breeze which cools the rest of the house down.
The home came equipped with two TVs, although we only used the one in the living room, which was a smart TV.
The real showstopper was the view from the lanai. Ocean views in the distance and the beautiful view of the garden/landscape. The grounds were super quiet and everyone was very friendly.
We only attended one pool behind the Suite Paradise building, which was perfect for my daughter. There was always a lounge chair available.
The beach was only a 5-minute walk through the lush grounds-- everything about this stay was tranquil. 10/10, I would stay here again.

You will be wanting for nothing if you decide to stay here! This condo was absolutely perfect for us. It was spacious, super clean, walking distance (5 minutes) to the beach, and maybe 10 minutes if you want to stroll down to Brennecke's or get yourself a Puka dog. Really, I cannot think of a single thing that I would change at this gorgeous place. We've stayed at many places in our 30 plus years of coming to Kauai, and this condo is definitely one of the top 3 that I can recall. You won't be disappointed!

Beginning in 2012, my friend & I have gone to Kauai every year for a "girls' trip." Leaving our husbands at home, we visit Kauai to hike some of Kauai's numerous and beautiful trails. This condo definitely rates as our favorite condo of all our visits. It was very clean, check-in and out were a breeze, the central AC worked great and the location is central to whatever activities you choose to participate in. We highly recommend it!!

Stayed at this condo for 4 nights and my boyfriend and I had a great experience! The condo was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable. We were super appreciative of all the beach gear that was provided as well! We loved how close the condo was to Poipu beach (walking distance) and to shipwreck beach (4 min drive). We also accessed the pool which was lovely and relaxing. The AC unit in the bedroom took a little while to cool the room, but once cooled it felt great and we slept very comfortably. Overall this condo was excellent and we would absolutely stay here again when we return to Kauai.

There is A/C in the bedroom, but not the rest of the house which made it very uncomfortable. Even with all the windows open it was very warm. We spent the majority of our time out of the condo.
In the early morning and evenings you would get a nice breeze if you sat on the deck.
Close walk to the beach, pool, tennis and a gas grill which was nice.

This was definitely one of the best, if not the best stocked vacation rentals we have stayed at. (kitchen, beach equipment, etc.) Thank you for providing everything needed to make our stay comfortable and easy. For a rental that is not right on the ocean, the location could not be better and views from the lanai are amazing. Only a few minutes by car to great beaches and delicious restaurants and shopping in the area. Communication directly with the owner who can also provide a car. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book the flat again.

Pros: Having a condo with a washer and dryer, chairs and umbrella for the beach, and a full kitchen was great! The books in the unit were interesting, and the tile shower was impeccable. We had AC in the bedroom, so we were able to sleep comfortably. Access to the athletic club was a plus.
Cons: I picked the condo bc as a cook because the photos showed a spice rack, but when we arrived, it was not availabile. The smell of sweat was pretty strong, and when I asked for more I coffee, I was told two packets is all I get.

Just stayed here and overall it was a great stay! Check in was SUPER easy and loved the info that was left about the condo and the area. Had a little maintenance hiccup that was handled RIGHT away and the gentleman they sent was AWESOME. Not just because he was knowledgeable but he was super personable and kind.
The location was FABULOUS and the amenities were equally great. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the condo. It had a “Hollywood clean”. The closer I looked, I noticed it wasn’t as clean as you would think. The floors had old spills that weren’t cleaned well and still a feeling of grit/sand in some spots, major dust and junk under the beds (saw bc my kid lost a shirt), and the tubs weren’t very clean either. I will give it to the property manager, she was willing to send someone out and do an extra clean but we didn’t stay much in the condo and it wasn’t gross dirty but could use a deep clean here and there to help.
The bedding and towels were fresh though and my husband raved about the primary bed. We slept VERY well and it was super comfy. The AC’s were very helpful but adding one in the 2nd bedroom would have been handy as my kids didn’t feel safe sleeping with the windows open BUUUT the area felt VERY safe and secure.
All in all, this was a great place, great location and we were happy to have stayed here!

What an island. It was our first time on Kauai. The condo was in an ideal location to be able to explore in every direction. Poipu sunsets were magical. The Beach House restaurant was amazing and super close. The condo had everything we needed. The ac came in SUPER handy.

Enjoyed our stay. Well equipped kitchen, even though we had carry out for the most part. Nice proximity to local beaches in southern Kauai, as well as good location of the condo itself within the complex (near the tennis/pickleball courts and pool). Could walk to nearby restaurants and coffee shops if desired and many within a short drive. Only caveat is that AC is a floor standing model and only located in the bedroom, none it the rest of the condo. Apparently the majority of condos built in this era had no central AC. Just something to be aware of as it can get a bit muggy given the climate.

This condo is located in a great area. Our family enjoyed the proximity to the pool, beach, tennis facilities. I think with a little bit of updating, it could be the perfect stay! The condo is fully carpeted - this carpet is far past it's life (dingy and dirty) and I believe leads to a musty odour in the space. The portable AC units were much appreciated - but the main living spaces don't have AC and were very warm. The AC units were also quite noisy and although we attempted to sleep with them off (relying on the trade winds), it was unbearably hot without them on. The bathroom, while functional, is in need of updates and a deep cleaning. The host was friendly and responsive. There is lots of beach gear to utilize and found the kitchen offered the necessities for our family cooking needs. I would have appreciated an info package within the unit detailing the wifi password, property rules, garbage locations, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay however we likely wouldn't return unless some updates were made to the unit.

The only thing it needed aws a brighter lamp somewhere for reading. They also mentioned a hose outside but we never saw one.

I liked the two Lize. One in both directions. Very private sheets and bed was wonderful. They promised a hose outside to wash your sand off. We never saw it. Also, there was very little light in order to read by at night. The lamps were all pretty low wattage. I had to crouch near a lamp in order to read my guidebook.

We had a great experience at Kahala! Suite paradise was very communicative and thoughtful throughout our stay. The unit had everything we needed for a great stay - towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, and access to the amazing Poipu Beach Athletic club. Our unit was perfectly situated for all activities. While there was an AC unit in the bedroom, the whole condo was quite hot, even with blinds closed and windows open at the right times. The carpet would also benefit from a deep clean. Overall we were satisfied for the price we paid.

This was in a perfect location for everything we were trying to do during our visit. Having the pool and hot tub were great for an end of day relaxation and the balcony for morning enjoyment. The beach is walking distance with an area where turtles rest. I have no complaints about the unit, it was everything we expected it to be.

We loved staying at our Kahala unit! It was perfect for everything we wanted--easy beach access, a nice private outdoor space, full kitchen, convenient spot, and spacious updated condo. The place was nice & clean, the in-unit washer & dryer were very helpful, and there was no street noise (which we were concerned about). The living area was a little warmer than our kids are used to for sleeping (on the pull out couch bed) but the a/c unit in the bedroom and fans helped cool things off so it was fine. Hoping to return again soon!
