Large 2 bedroom 2 bath unit in Kamahana condominium complex with large living room. Property management was very responsive in addressing concerns about the cleanliness of the unit. When we arrived the floors were very dirty so the property management company sent housekeeping over to thoroughly clean the floors. The living room and dining area is not well lit so that made it very difficult to read at night. The dining room lamp needs to be changed to provide more lighting for eating at the dining table. (Additional side lamps were provided.) While the unit is very large and the kitchen well-equipped with cooking utensils, it is not quiet with the windows and sliding doors open in the morning with the roosters up early or the neighbors above moving around. The value of the unit was a fairly good deal in comparison to other properties in the area which is why we had booked this unit.

While there were just the 2 of us, this property would work for 2 couples or a family. We enjoyed having the space. While this isn't a beach side property (and we knew that), it is a beautiful property with 2 nice outside lanais that we enjoyed sitting on enjoying a peaceful morning or nice evening. Kitchen had everything we needed. As well, there were chairs and an umbrella and some snorkeling equipment and beach toys in the closet which was very nice to have. We were there in October and the fans were enough to keep us comfortable. We loved the location. It was an easy drive to Hanalei Bay and of course, Princeville was right there. We didn't have any problems though I did call ahead of time with a couple questions and the service was great! We barely heard the neighbors above us and they were really nice. The chickens are part of life on the island and we enjoyed watching them! I highly recommend this place.

It's been an amazing week of love, adventure, rest, gratitude, and renewal. We celebrated our anniversary and couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place to call home. Every morning, we woke up to see the sunrise from the comfort of the expansive living room. It was like God was painting a picture that changed from one moment to the next.
Sanctuary is the best word to describe it here. The luscious green golf course in the foreground and the beautiful ocean in the background, and hearing the surf in the distance and being serenaded by so many birds. Thank you for sharing this special place.

Truly a wonderful place and location to stay in Princeville on Kauai. It had the amenities you look for in a vacation rental. We never found ourselves saying something’s missing.
The layout was very accommodating to the wonderful breezes that filled the pace day & night.
One minor concern, operation of locks that secured lanai screen doors. They worked but not easy to learn or engage.
Overall it is a truly wonderful place and location

We have stayed in Princeville many times plus other locations on Kauai. Compared to other condos that we have stayed in, this is one the best.
Some people have commented about the heat, but it is a fact in Kauai that it gets warm and most places do not have air conditioning. We kept the ceiling fan off in the bedroom during the day so that the heat stayed high and wasn’t pulled down. There were plenty of fans provided and pulling air in through the bathroom window kept the condo cool. It can depend some on the trade winds also.
Other than a few tiles around the shower, this was the best maintained condo that we have been in. The kitchen was well equipped.
We had the opportunity to meet the owners during our stay and they are quick to answer any questions you may have.
There was a different feel here because not every condo in the complex was a rental with a constant parade of people moving in and out.

The space was clean, bright and very nicely decorated. It had a cooler and chairs for the beach which came in super handy!
The condo did get pretty warm during the day, but the AC in the bedroom was a good relief from the heat if needed.
We would 10/10 recommend booking a stay here!

Great apartment nearby the golf fields. The location is beautiful. Peaceful and quiet. The community is very friendly and you can walk surrounded by green areas and also enjoy the swimming pool. This place is minutes to Princeville small shopping village with nice restaurants, exceptional ice cream shop, a supermarket…etc. And the most important thing is the apartment which is so well taken care of! (Please future visitors, take care of this place so we can come back again) The apartment has everything you might need to make your stay in Kauai very comfortable and our communication with the hosts have been wonderful! They will help you promptly if you need them. We totally recommend it!. THANKS SO MUCH C&D, your place is amazing and we have loved every day we have stayed there. We loved this condo! It was the perfect location with great ocean views. Easy central spot to navigate around the North Shore. Clean & quiet. We enjoyed sleeping with the patio doors open and bedroom windows for a nice cross breeze. Would stay here again!

Aloha overall place was great, our second time here. the air conditioner in the bedroom when put on smelled bad, I found the air filter has not been cleaned for a very long time. Caked on dirt and lint, I cleaned it up as well as the area inside the unit and worked very well afterwards. I emailed pictures twice with no response, I figured some kind feed back would be in order and thought it was rather odd. Possibly having some type of cleaning supply available for spills etc would be good as well. Better beach towels would be nice. Will we come back? Yes, this complex is peaceful and the pool is amazing. Mahalo.

We stayed for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! The place was clean with a great location, it was also stocked with pretty much anything could have needed. The beach chair and beach towels were so nice to have! The hosts were very friendly and communicated very well, would definitely recommend staying here!

We absolutely loved the condo, the setting, how it is equipped, and how peaceful the surrounding areas are! Lots of light, and it provides everything you need! The fans and open patio doors provided plenty of ventilation to feel comfortable (no AC- but it was ok). Anyhow we felt right at home, and will probably return someday! This condo sits right on the 15th green of the Princeville golf course, which is a perfect place to watch the sunrise in Kauai. It's in a perfect location, close to everything on the North shore. The amenities were a blessing, having boogie boards, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrella and cooler make this condo perfect for your vacation. Would definately stay here again!!

The property advertised being a 10 minute walk to the beach but there is NO access to a beach. The property size is great and there was beach items available in a closet to use but no beach nearby.
The property’s carpet was damp when we arrived and by the 3rd day mushrooms and black mold was growing out of the carpet. There is no air conditioner so it was always very hot in the condo. The rental agency did provide fans but it was difficult to sleep. Thankfully the fans did block some of the Rooster noise that was 24/7.
The rental company did move us to another unit once they were aware of the mold and mushrooms.

This property was comfortable, well equipped, clean, and spacious. It sits on the edge of a golf course, high on a cliff next to the coast so you’ll have great views from the outside space and living area. It’s at the end of a side road in Princeville so it’s all pretty quiet and serene. We even saw an Albatross feeding her baby, who was safely nested in a shrub right next to where we parked.
We didn’t swim while we were there, but there’s a nice little pool right next to this building. This is an upstairs condo but you enter the unit on the ground floor where there’s a small entryway with a little closet (containing some beach items for use) then the stairs to go to the second floor. We used the washer and dryer daily and had no issues. We didn’t cook while we were there but it certainly seems that everything we would have needed was there in the kitchen. We spent time in the condo mostly in the late evenings/nights/mornings and the rest of our time was out in Hanalei or the surrounding area. We would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! Communication with host was amazing! Condo has all the extras you could think of! Location to grocery store is very convenient! Short drive to Anini Beach which is the best beach for kids in my opinion. :) The kids loved the pool! AC was a nice relief on hot nights for the kids!

Great location and great view of the ocean. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. I was worried about not having A/C but the cross winds were nice and cool. We couldn’t figure out how to use the tv in the living room, so we just played the games in the cabinet below the tv. The pool was super close to the unit. Parking spot right in front of the unit. Internet worked great. Driving distance to Hanalei Bay and great beaches. Make sure to stop and take in the landscape every chance you get.

The property is very clean and I totally enjoyed my stay. My only criticisms would be that the front door lock needs some attention, there should be some beach towels or mention that you need to bring your own, and the bedroom closet is 80% filled with the owners' belongings. Other than that, I had an awesome stay and would highly recommend this VRBO.

My husband and I just spent 2 weeks in Kauai (Princeville Area, North Shore). If you are looking for a nice 2 bedroom condo to stay in, this is for you. The condo was well maintained and stocked with everything you need. Just so you are aware, there is not AC in the condo, but they have adequate fans and plenty of screened sliding doors that you can open. I never got hot in the condo and I am someone who needs AC. Princeville Foodland is very close for your groceries and supplies. We enjoyed our stay very and we would rent this condo again but longer. Time of stay Mid May until the end of May

We liked the size and outdoor space. The kitchen had everything we needed. The pool was a very short walk. There was plenty of detergent, soap, paper products and towels. The closet had an assortment of excellent beach gear and even hiking poles.
There's no a/c, just fans. I was fine with windows open, but my husband was hot. We did see a few beetle/roach? -like insects. I suppose those are hard to avoid on a ground floor near other homes with doors and windows open all the time. Overall, it was a good experience.

The place is perfect for a family of four. The location makes hanging out along the north shore easy, and the property is quiet and gorgeous, with unbeatable views and a secluded beach that you can hike a short trail from your front door to get to. The owner is also super responsive to any questions or minor issues. The place itself is super spacious with high ceiling and a nice wind permeates the home if you leave all the windows open, which really helped to keep it cool even while it was broiling outside. I’m really grateful we were able to stay here!

We appreciated the quietness and convenience of your condo. Being within walking distance of Sea Lodge Beach was a real treat and having only a short distance to drive to the fabulous Anini Beach was delightful. All in all, a great stay!
