This condo sits right on the 15th green of the Princeville golf course, which is a perfect place to watch the sunrise in Kauai. It's in a perfect location, close to everything on the North shore. The amenities were a blessing, having boogie boards, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrella and cooler make this condo perfect for your vacation. Would definately stay here again!!

The property advertised being a 10 minute walk to the beach but there is NO access to a beach. The property size is great and there was beach items available in a closet to use but no beach nearby.
The property’s carpet was damp when we arrived and by the 3rd day mushrooms and black mold was growing out of the carpet. There is no air conditioner so it was always very hot in the condo. The rental agency did provide fans but it was difficult to sleep. Thankfully the fans did block some of the Rooster noise that was 24/7.
The rental company did move us to another unit once they were aware of the mold and mushrooms.

This property was comfortable, well equipped, clean, and spacious. It sits on the edge of a golf course, high on a cliff next to the coast so you’ll have great views from the outside space and living area. It’s at the end of a side road in Princeville so it’s all pretty quiet and serene. We even saw an Albatross feeding her baby, who was safely nested in a shrub right next to where we parked.
We didn’t swim while we were there, but there’s a nice little pool right next to this building. This is an upstairs condo but you enter the unit on the ground floor where there’s a small entryway with a little closet (containing some beach items for use) then the stairs to go to the second floor. We used the washer and dryer daily and had no issues. We didn’t cook while we were there but it certainly seems that everything we would have needed was there in the kitchen. We spent time in the condo mostly in the late evenings/nights/mornings and the rest of our time was out in Hanalei or the surrounding area. We would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! Communication with host was amazing! Condo has all the extras you could think of! Location to grocery store is very convenient! Short drive to Anini Beach which is the best beach for kids in my opinion. :) The kids loved the pool! AC was a nice relief on hot nights for the kids!

Great location and great view of the ocean. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. I was worried about not having A/C but the cross winds were nice and cool. We couldn’t figure out how to use the tv in the living room, so we just played the games in the cabinet below the tv. The pool was super close to the unit. Parking spot right in front of the unit. Internet worked great. Driving distance to Hanalei Bay and great beaches. Make sure to stop and take in the landscape every chance you get.

My only criticisms would be that the front door lock needs some attention, there should be some beach towels or mention that you need to bring your own, and the bedroom closet is 80% filled with the owners' belongings. My husband and I just spent 2 weeks in Kauai (Princeville Area, North Shore). If you are looking for a nice 2 bedroom condo to stay in, this is for you. The condo was well maintained and stocked with everything you need. Just so you are aware, there is not AC in the condo, but they have adequate fans and plenty of screened sliding doors that you can open. I never got hot in the condo and I am someone who needs AC. Princeville Foodland is very close for your groceries and supplies. We enjoyed our stay very and we would rent this condo again but longer. Time of stay Mid May until the end of May

We liked the size and outdoor space. The kitchen had everything we needed. The pool was a very short walk. There was plenty of detergent, soap, paper products and towels. The closet had an assortment of excellent beach gear and even hiking poles.
There's no a/c, just fans. I was fine with windows open, but my husband was hot. We did see a few beetle/roach? -like insects. I suppose those are hard to avoid on a ground floor near other homes with doors and windows open all the time. Overall, it was a good experience.

The place is perfect for a family of four. The location makes hanging out along the north shore easy, and the property is quiet and gorgeous, with unbeatable views and a secluded beach that you can hike a short trail from your front door to get to. The owner is also super responsive to any questions or minor issues. The place itself is super spacious with high ceiling and a nice wind permeates the home if you leave all the windows open, which really helped to keep it cool even while it was broiling outside. I’m really grateful we were able to stay here!

The living room has a great view, with direct access to the golf course, which was great for my kids to run around on (never saw anybody golfing near us). Very clean and comfortable.

This comfortable upstairs condo worked well for 2 adults & has a GREAT central location, 20-25 mins from most north island beaches, 10-12 mins to Hanalei town shopping & restaurants and 2-3 mins from grocery & restaurants in Princeville. Although maybe a bit older than other condos, it’s in reasonable condition & seems like a good value. Note we stayed in mid-April 2024.
Bed was comfortable. LOTS of closet & drawer space incl. hangers! The 5 ft bamboo sofa is not a pull-out. May be good for a kid but not a third adult. It has no A/C but (in April) we never needed it. 2 standup & 1 floor fan, along with evening breezes was MORE than adequate.
Large bathroom with shower/tub had good water pressure & quick hot water. Washer/dryer combo worked well and was super appreciated.
Kitchen was well equipped with every appliance, cookware and utensil you likely have in your own home, including many spices & condiments. Kitchen layout is a bit wonky (pillar in middle of the aisle) but didn’t cause problems. We also appreciated the LOTS of TV viewing options including online’s as well as cable.
Zero parking problems (and it was free!). Also, no hidden extra charges for resort fees, etc. Pool on property was adequate but unheated, so a bit brisk in April. Condo included some extras we didn’t expect: beach coolers, umbrella, chairs, snorkel gear and fins, water shoes, large beach towels, etc.
No bug problems. In fact, pest control service made scheduled visit during our stay

We were happy we chose to stay in Princeville on the north side of the island, as the north coast ended up being our favorite area during our week on Kauai. The property is in a GREAT location, separate from much of the rest of Princeville. The unit has everything you'd need, and was more spacious than I expected. While the home itself is nice enough, should you require help from the management team, you will be disappointed. Last week we returned to see a note from management stating our water would be off from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm the next day. No problem. We planned our day around this outage. We returned from the beach at 4.00 pm but still no water and the workers that had been in the area most of the week had left. We had dinner plans that evening, so we just held tight until 5.00 pm before making phone calls, leaving messages, and sending emails asking for a simple update on when the water would be back. Kristen Kurz was our specific contact. No one answered our calls. It wasn't until 6.30 pm before water was restored, but by then we had to cancel our evening plans. Perhaps this doesn't sound like a big deal to you, but when you spend thousands of dollars for a week long vacation, every moment of your trip is important, so we missed out on a reservation we had made well in advance of our trip. Had it not been for our neighbor who happened to be the owner of their condo, I'm sure water would not have come back on until the following day because at no point did Kristen, or anyone else we called/emailed respond. Considering the cost of renting this property, I'd expect better communication, but you will be left high and dry by the management company should you run into a problem with the property like we did. For this reason, I will not return to any property managed by this company, and I still have had no response from them, not even an apology. To me that speaks volumes about the professionalism of Kristen and the management team she represents. I hope the owners understand that their investment isn't being taken care of in the way they should expect which is a shame because the home is nice enough for a small family.

This was our 2nd time to Kauai and it didn’t disappoint. The condo was clean with large bedrooms and primary bath. There is a 2nd full bathroom but the primary bathroom was so huge, our family all set up there for the stay. We loved being on the 2nd story as we had a lovely balcony to sit on each morning with coffee and evenings with a book. Beautiful view and some feathery friends down below to watch. The location was super. If you are someone who loves morning/evening walks, this is a great condo/location. You could wander the path which borders the golf course, walk to the playground, or head down towards one of the resorts for a bite and stunning views. We bought groceries at Costco but Foodland was great for essentials or cravings. A quick drive from Hanalei which has always been one of our favourite places to spend a day. Kitchen was well stocked with all the amenities needed. Bathrooms had sufficient towels but wish there was more TP for a two-bedroom condo and a 2wk stay. Homeowners were excellent at communication. The only thing the condo didn’t have that I wish it did, was a little table on the balcony to set down a coffee mug. Would be a great addition! We struggled a bit with check-in but that was solely our fault as we got in on a late flight so had difficulty finding our way around the condo complex at 1am. A map would be helpful for future guests in the same pitch-dark situation. When we visit Kauai again, we will definitely check if this condo is available.

We enjoyed our 15 day stay at Doug and Cheryll's condo. The condo was clean, well stocked with many items, is very quiet and right on the golf course, pure paradise. Parking lot was never full so there was alway spaces available. Doug and Cheryll were very prompt in responding to any questions we had. This is a beautiful location with friendly people.

Great place to walk the golf course or down the road to Princeville center. Access code was easy no problem. Appreciated the cooler, beach chairs, beach towels, body board for the beach. Great location. Saturday market in Princeville was fun. Saw many whales from lanai. Water in showers need to be hotter. Kitchen well equipped.needed better cleaning of stove. Second portable fan would be nice had one. Most of time nice breeze through the condo. Would stay again and recommend. 14 steps up into condo main floor with luggage groceries for those with mobility issues.

We had the best time staying at this property on the north shore of Kauai! The location was awesome! We were right on the 15th hole of the Makai golf course and would walk on the cart path each morning for amazing sunrise views over the ocean! We could also walk to the Princeville market for groceries, breakfast, dinner, etc. The condo itself was perfect for the two of us. The newly remodeled shower was luxurious and the crosswinds we could get through the condo were heavenly! No AC was needed nor missed. The beach gear also came in clutch for our beach days. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends or family visiting this area!

Loved Tunnels Beach, Hanalei and Ke’e. Driving to other parts of island was easy. Condo has everything you need. Would highly recommend.
