We enjoyed staying here and it was outfitted with what we needed in the kitchen. The view of the waves right in front and skilled surfers was entertaining. The beach here is small but a strong swimmer can swim out past the waves where the snorkeling is decent with turtles and a good variety of fish. We didn't try the nearby restaurant but there are several others not far away.

We came for our honeymoon and wow this condo is amazing! Sitting out in the porch watching the sea turtles in the bay was unbelievable. Beautiful, clean place with wonderful hosts! We will be back.

True paradise. Love this corner unit condo. Will definitely stay here again. It has everything. Clean. Comfy bed. Full kitchen. Unmatched views of the ocean. Turtles right outside the windows all day long. Minutes from Poipu Beach and shopping. Beach House restaurant right next door is the best on the island. Beautifully decorated and clean, with waves and turtles to greet you off the lanai. Denise has everything you need in the condo, and is super responsive and friendly. We love this place and hope to be back soon. The 7:30 pm parrot show is an added bonus, and the location is great!

We have stayed at Kuhio Shores on many occasions but this condo is now our favorite by far! It has everything you need for a perfect stay on Kauai. The owners are very thoughtful and didn't skimp on the amenities! And Island Garden Rentals was always there to answer any questions we had. And they made our Anniversary trip very special with beautiful flowers when we got to the condo! The most amazing view you will every get along with surfers every day. We even saw a huge rainbow. Mix that with the turtles and you have a great experience! I am already planning our next trip! Thank you for such great hospitality!

Enjoyed the beautiful ocean front view. However, there is public beach access that brings foot traffic right in front of the unit as beach goers.are walking in. There was a boogie board contest taking place which made for very heavy foot traffic every day and made our unit feel too public. We will not stay there again

This was the perfect spot for our family of 4. Our kids comfortably shared the second king size bed and loved having their own bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed including spices and oil.
The view is absolutely incredible. Talented surfers enjoy the waves right in front of the patio and turtles come up to the rocks. Snorkelers gather within steps of the condo and the beach house restaurant next door is very delicious. We even got to enjoy 2 weddings in the restaurant’s outdoor space and an amazing craft fair with quality stuff! We also walked to the nearby shops and golf course. We have a great visit to Poipu.

The place was beautiful - very clean and well stocked. The waves are a little louder than expected with the doors and windows open, but that was exactly how it was described in the listing and the reason we chose this place over others. Everything was comfortable and the place had everything we needed for two people.
The area is great - "The Shops" were very close and Koloa is a short drive up the road. It's also a great central spot on the island, where Hanalei is the only destination that is a "long drive," even though it's really not that far. It was a nice spot for us so we could travel around the island.
We actually ran in to Denise one day downstairs and had a wonderful converasation with her! The communication the whole trip was great and I'm so appreciative for them opening their home to us.

The views from the Lanai were amazing! We got to watch 3-5 sea turtles in the water every morning and evening! The shower is actually IN the second bedroom, which steams up the room a bit, but with the AC on in the other room and the fan blowing, it’s manageable. We had a great time and would stay here again!

Staff was great with one exception; the AC in the MBR stopped working. I reported it on a Thursday, no response. Called again on Tuesday and they reported that they didn't follow up. When they finally got around to. Still no action by Tuesday only to tell us we would have to wait until end of next week. Only because I found a HCVAC repair person working at the condo, did the repair was made. But all in all, except for the HCVAC incident, they were pretty good..

The location is great. Grass outside the back for kids to play (I did yoga). If you walk around the property, there is some great surfing to watch.
Condo is well worn and the pull out was super uncomfortable. You could barely cut with the dull knives. I had to kill a roach every day I was there.

This was a wonderful place! Many things provided for enjoying the beach, thoughtful extras like a bottle of champagne, some toiletries and sunscreen, speaker, etc. and a very comfy bed. But our favorite thing was sitting on the patio all evening watching the near full moon rise over the water. A little bummer that the road is visible on your left, people occasionally walk by, and the area nearest to it isn’t really for swimming easily but for this price range it was a very wonderful choice and we’re glad we chose it.

This condo has the most incredible views! We could watch turtles, fish, and surfers from this gorgeous top floor location. It felt like we were in a world to ourselves. And the stars at night are breathtaking! Right next door is Beach House Restaurant with the signature MonkeyPod Mai Tai (their sister restaurant - if you’ve been to Maui, you’ll know what I’m talking about), amazing food, and a view of the sunset. The condo itself could use some updating, but with that wall of windows, location, and views, it didn’t bother us in the least. We would definitely stay here again! We loved our stay here, very clean and well maintained. The best part was sitting on the lanai watching the turtles or just listening to the waves crashing on the shore. At first I was a bit disappointed because it faced east so we wouldn't be able to see the sunsets, but then realized if it did we'd have the afternoon sun beating in to the condo, heating it up. Plus, we did get to see some fantastic sunsets. As it turned out, we were usually on some beach at sunset anyway so we wouldn't have been on the lanai anyway.
The kitchen was great, we were able to make all our meals in the condo and didn't need to eat out at all (we figured that saved us around $2K - my wife said Hawaii is like the state fair, if you go for the food you're going to go home broke).
The AC did keep it cool when it got too hot, but we didn't use it much. We preferred to keep the door to the lanai open at night so we could hear the ocean.
The location was good and bad - it's in a fairly busy area, but it's also very close to shops and restaurants if that's what you're looking for. The condo and lanai are facing away from all that so when we were in the condo we didn't really hear any noise.
Would definitely stay here again if we ever get back to Kauai.

The place was well stocked with everything we needed. In fact, it had more than we expected. Toiletries, all outside beach equipment, fully stocked kitchen with all gadgets needed. We even had a broken umbrella and I let the place know and they literally had a new one to us but the end of the day. We had a wonderful stay.

The views from the balcony are so beautiful with the water below (viewing turtles too) and ocean out to the right with Mountain Views to the left. Balcony furniture is so comfy to sit for hours enjoying the ocean sounds. Very nice having AC to cool the unit down when needed. Wonderful stay in Poipu!

My wife and I stayed here for one week. It was wonderful and as described. The amenities that are included actually surpassed the much larger home we stayed at the week before with the rest of our family. We even had to have a package delivered while there and both the owners and the onsite manager were helpful in assisting us getting the emergency delivery. We would definitely look at staying here again on our next Kauai vacation.

We enjoyed our stay so much it was hard to leave. The condo location was a dream! There was plenty of space for us and our two littles. The king size bed and pull out couch was plenty for us but the air mattress was the highlight of the trip for my 7 year old. The condo was beautifully updated, fully stocked and every detail was taken care of. Tyler was so kind and we hope to be able to stay again one day.
