Wow! The pictures are accurate. The condo is in the best location with sunrise and sunset views. Amazing! The condo is well appointed. The owner has everything you need for a perfect beach day. We utilized the chairs, cooler, umbrella and snorkel gear. All was in good condition. We enjoyed watching the turtles from the back yard. We also used the binoculars to whale watch. The condo is comfortable. The beds are nice, plenty of water pressure and hot water. The condo was also quiet and allowed us to rest well after a busy day of activities. We snorkeled all over the island, but honestly the best snorkeling was in the little cove right next to the condo. There were turtles galore! Our teenage daughters also loved laying in the grass behind the condo to get some sun. It was wonderful to drink coffee every morning, watch the sunrise and listen to the waves crash. The owner provided excellent communication. He gave us tips on where to go for hikes, tours, beaches and good. He was very helpful! We would stay here again.

We have stayed at this property in a different unit. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the surfers every morning. This condo is close to many restaurant and has everything you need. The fans and the AC in the bedroom kept the unit cool.

This place is amazing. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean and the view of the water is everything. It’s like being on a boat, watching turtles, dolphins and whales. Staying on the lowest level is special because you can watch both the sunrise and the sunset from the grass in front of the condo. Snorkeling is right around the corner and there are a number of beaches to swim at within a mile. We already booked next year!

The location is nice, right on Prince Kuhio beach and a few steps from Lawaii beach, where we saw sea turtles and a resting monk seal. The snorkeling is excellent. The view from the condo looks equally at the beach and the traffic on Lawaii road. The condo is in need of a deep cleaning and some repairs. Many things didn’t quite work right, whether it be the sensor on the coffee pot, the dull knives, the shutter track, the torn chaise lounge chair, the brittle blender lid that crumbles when you pick it up, or the temperamental airco. This being said, the owner’s Aloha is very evident whether it be in the lovely Hawaiian art displayed throughout the condo, the detailed instructions and recommendations provided, or in the communication and support we received during our stay.

Stayed Dec 19-24th. Fantastic location easy walk to cafes, stores and snorkeling beaches. 5 minute drive to BEST swimming beach (Kiahuna... which is quieter and less hectic than Poipu beach). Condo layout maximizes views of the ocean. Yes, there are people walking in front of the unit but we did not find it irritating but rather enjoyed seeing the surfers come and go. Quiet at night even with the (most amazing Beach House) restaurant literally next door (ate their twice). Beds are comfortable if a little soft (we prefer firmer mattresses). Extremely clean with updated bathrooms and kitchen well stocked with needed supplies including spices and cooking oils. Would defintely stay again at this unit.

The view of the ocean was the best part of this condo. However, this location needs a makeover. The furniture is old and dated so it needs to be replaced except for the bed which was comfortable. The TV is too small to view for the distance from the couch. The outdoor patio furniture was dirty and uncomfortable with no cushions. The carpet needs to be replaced and shower door is off the channel. An investment needs to be put into this location to update it and make it functional. For the most part, it was clean. However, the cleaning crew did not open the screen window as we discovered a mound of dead insects in the window sill and had to kill 2 cockroaches during our stay. We also discovered bugs coming out of the kitchen sink drain during the day. This is not a contemporary place to stay.

We had another wonderful stay at this beautiful place. Mahalo for sharing it with us. The redone kitchen looks great, and we appreciate the use of the beach chairs, umbrella, etc. Lots of time was also spent relaxing on the patio and watching the turtles swim by. As soon as you open the door you are struck with the generous view that you will be have during your stay. We have traveled to many places and this is one of the best places we have stayed. The photos say it all. You can’t get much closer to the ocean without being on a boat. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets from your living room. Having the bedroom on the ocean side and the full, opening windows wrapping the corner suite provide a true indoor/outdoor daily living environment. Endless surf and tropical breezes. We did not turn on the AC during our whole 3 week stay. Parking, always easy. Jennifer is a great, responsive host.

We have traveled all over the world, and this is by far the best oceanfront view we have ever had from our accommodation. The condo itself was clean, comfortable, climate controlled, and met all our needs, including a good selection of beach gear. The building elevators were great so we didn't have to heft luggage, groceries, beach gear, etc up and down stairs. Good location for exploring the whole island, from the natural beauty sites to fun activities.

We spent the week of December 4-11 in this beautiful accommodation. We loved the location and especially loved being able to sit on the lawn and overlook the ocean. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows to choose from. The kitchen was well stocked and we liked being able to have food on hand. The communication prior to arrival was fantastic with lots of information. The check-in was easy. We spent every morning sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise and listening to the waves crash. The condo has many accoutrements for the beach, including chairs, sand toys, an umbrella, snorkeling equipment, and beach towels. We stayed cool due to the cross breeze through the condo when the back door and windows are open. Next time we are on Kaua’i, we will see if this condo is available again if it’s just myself and my spouse. The pull-out couch was not very comfortable for our child to sleep on.

The host, Chris, was very responsive and very detailed with information about the unit and the area. The location was ideal, right on the waters edge with a beautiful view of the ocean. The unit got the morning sun so was shaded in the afternoon which was ideal for the sunset and sitting out on the patio. It was very close to shops and restaurants.
As for the unit, pros:
Fully equipped large kitchen. Had everything and more. New refrigerator.
Very comfortable king size bed.
Large roomy living area with sofa and two chairs with foot stools.
Well provided with towels, beach gear, hangers, beach chairs, books and more.
Nice wood decor and wall hangings.
Cons:
Bedroom and bathroom need to be painted.
Could use a deep clean.
No TV in living room. There is a small TV in the closet to bring out and use but we ended up using our IPADs as that was easier.
It was a very nice trip and we enjoyed Kauai and watching the sunset from the condo, but If I come back to Kauai, I would choose a more updated unit.

The property looks exactly as it does in the pictures. When you walk through the door, the first thing you see is the view of the ocean. In the morning, you can sit and watch the sea turtles roll in the surf directly below your lanai. This condo is supplied with all basic amenities you will need plus a few you wouldn’t expect.
