The Location and basic amenities were nice. There is an issue with the flooring -as a contractor and for liability purposes I recommend replacement. The broken edges and material type is not suitable for location and can lead to cut feet. Additionally the master bath sink plunger armature / actuator is not functional crating a plugged sink. Property was beautiful, condo clean & comfortable, perfect for our needs, great location (ocean view & beach view, beautiful landscape, and attention to detail) EXCEPT for finding our building and our condo. We recvd the check in codes in advance (appreciated that). We arrived after dark and could not find our building, let alone our condo. Please add lighted numbers to the buildings i.e. bldg 3, bldg 2, etc. The map at the office did not show "YOU ARE HERE" in order to better pinpoint and orient where we were (as 1st timers). The map to the property could have been bigger and around some type of lighting in order to better see it. I was not aware that another level of management was added (Blue Jade R/E-Dream Vacations Kauai) nor was there advance notice that by using a credit card for payments that we would be charged the bank transaction fee (approx. 7%). Altho the first transaction charge was reversed, the second one was not which was frustrating because I sent a check for the balance of our condo one month prior to the due date which was never received by Blue Jade so I had to use my c/c again and incurred the second fee.
This may be a little long but this was the first time I used VRBO so I may not be as sophisticated to know about these little things which could be helpful for other 1st timers. Thank you.

We loved every minute of our stay at this Lae Nani unit. Just steps away from the calm cove and relaxing saltwater pool, it was perfect for our family and our small baby. The place was clean, quiet, and kitchen was well stocked. The owners are very kind and responsive. We highly recommend and hope to come back!

This was our second visit and we were just as thrilled as before. Everything was clean, comfortable, and just lovely, start to finish. We loved our morning coffee on the lanai and early morning sunrise walks. Time at the cove was so relaxing and special. Our kids have insisted that if/when we return, we only stay here. Thank you for helping us create priceless family memories.

I'll admit I'm a skeptic about listings with gorgeous photos and claims about how wonderful everything is. Yeah...sure, I think to myself. Well this skeptic was wrong! We absolutely LOVED it! I had stayed at a nearby property in April and walked past it, so I knew it was a great location with beautifully maintained grounds. I've stayed at other properties that turned out to be party-centric, and this is a much mellower and friendlier crowd; I appreciated the expectation of quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. I didn't realize just how great the beach is there; I discovered it's more protected due to the shape of the beach. The unit itself was AMAZING. Very clean, fully stocked, tastefully decorated, comfy beds, and with a FABULOUS view. If a person is sensitive to heat, they may want to consider staying in a place with air conditioning (likely a hotel rather than a condo on Kauai). There is a nice breeze in the living room and the fans are great, however if a person is heat sensitive they might find it too warm if a fan isn't sufficient for them. All in all, I would highly recommend this and we would happily stay there again!!

Really enjoyed our stay, close to the pool and beach. Very quiet since you’re one block off Kuhio Highway, but easy access to the north and south. Park like grounds with lots of shade made for nice evenings outside. Condo is well appointed, with everything you need for your stay.

Interesting (scary) and unexpected occurrence with a faulty oven/range. Property manager was remarkably quick to respond, sending an electrician to make safe, then had it replaced and installed within 24 hours with a new unit (one of four on the island I am told). She even supplied a two-burner hotplate "just in case". Screen door was repaired on the same day when we called to report it was difficult to open/close. The mattress and pillows are ready to be replaced. The master shower mixing valve needs a plumber's attention soon. The floor under the glass table is scratched up from the chair legs. An awesome pool and very well- kept grounds. A wonderful coral sand beach.

This was the perfect place to stay with my husband and four children (ages 14-20). Fit all six of us comfortably and was the perfect location to walk to the pool, to the beach, and the marketplace—just a few minutes walk down the road. This condo in particular is nice because it’s tucked up away from anyone walking by the condo and the view is awesome! Checkin was simple and Denise was always quick to respond to any of our questions! If you’re looking for a place that has it all for your family memories….this is the place!!

We had a wonderful time at this centrally located condo. We were able to explore North and South shores without too long of a drive. Many great restaurants within walking distance, as well as a nice coastal trail and beaches. Wish we had had a couple more days. The condo was very well stocked with everything we needed.

We loved our stay at Lae Nani 423! When we come back to Kauai, we will stay here again. The view from the balcony was so beautiful, we loved watching the ocean and listening to the waves right in front of us. The condo was much bigger and nicer than the pictures can show. It's an easy walk to Coconut Marketplace (like a small outdoor mall) with shops and restaurants. A mile away is Russell's with the best acai bowls. The location was perfect for exploring the island. The air conditioner in the bedroom was excellent and appreciated. The king sized bed was comfortable. We wouldn't change a thing.

This condo complex is almost entirely vacation renters. And because of that, it was VERY laid back and very friendly!! Parking was easy, the VIEW was amazing and the condo itself was clean and had a nice assortment of beach gear. Walking distance along the beach to a resto with good food and music. The beach is 'thin' but there is a protected swimming area that is perfect for floating!

This property is even better than the listing. The beach is closer than it looks in the pics with the gentle sounds of waves crashing. We enjoyed the beach several times in our town back yard. The tropical walk to both Lava Lava Beach Club next door and Coconut Market was so convenient. We hade breakfast and dinner with live entertainment a few times with amazing food. Coconut market provided everything we needed from good bbq to pizza and fresh baked goods. So many shops to visit with lots of locally made items.
We went Kayaking up the river to the secret falls which was so much fun. This place is centrally located making island travel very easy. Be sure and hit up the Kountry Kitchen just down the road for breakfast!
The condo was exactly as described with updated everything. It was perfect for our two couples with lots of room and comfort. Big thumbs up from Kentucky!

I would highly recommend this condo, great location and near stores and restaurants. Beautiful views from the lanai. The only reason I gave the online listing a 4 instead of a 5,is that I asked about beach equipment, primarily a beach umbrella.Mgt kept saying they were not sure and what you see is what they have, they did not seem to know that in the storage closet (kind of hidden) on the lanai they have everything you could possible want for the beach.
I just wish the condo Mgt would have known as well and I could have saved the $30.00 I spent on a umbrella. I asked for a credit but they denied me.
Place was clean and kitchen well stocked.

Was here on Kauai in 2017 so great to come back and visit again. Kapaa is a nice, central location for exploring the island. This condo was perfect for my wife and I.

The condo was great, had everything we wanted and then some. Full air conditioning was a treat. Could have been cleaned better. TV screen was very smudged. Steps to third floor were a bit difficult for us older folks to navigate for ten days. Highly recommended for view and amenities.

So happy with our choice of this unit for our first trip to the Garden Island. Loved the ease of no stairs or waiting on elevators.
Location on island great for exploring all sides of island.
Also convenient to airport and loved being able to walk to Coconut Marketplace.
Unit was clean and comfortable with the luxury of air conditioning!
Would love to rent again if we have the chance to visit again!

Our stay in Lae Nani in Kapaa was perfection! The condo was immaculate. The views from the balcony are incredible. The landscaping on the property is lush and beautifully maintained. Check-in was a breeze and there is ample parking. It was easy to walk to many delicious restaurants and the lava rock pool was so enjoyable. Karla is a wonderful host! The condominium property is beautiful with a great pool and nice beach. The location is near several restaurants and Safeway. The unit is nicely decorated and well furnished. We could have used more towels since laundry isn’t in unit, and some of the pans were a bit rough. The awful part of our stay was the endangered wedge tailed shearwater bird that nests behind the unit. You have to Google its sound to hear how horrible their cries are. These birds are nocturnal and started screaming non stop every night around 2:30am and didn’t stop until morning when the many roosters started their wake up call. It was unbelievable! Additionally, the windows are louvered so there’s no way to keep the sound out. The other problem with the condo is no AC except for a very loud portable unit in the bedroom. It did get very hot especially in the main living area which made evening TV watching uncomfortable. The ceiling fans were helpful but some of our days the temp was in the mid 80s so it was impossible to get it cooled down. This condo would probably be fine during cooler months and when those stupid birds aren’t nesting!

Passion bakery also with great food options and all within walking distance. The condo and the resort had everything we needed along with great ocean views. We’d had an incredible stay! The location was great for us and very manageable to get to both sides of the island. The beach right out front of the unit was so peaceful and not crowded. The unit was spacious with plenty of other accessories like beach chairs, coolers, nice coffee maker, etc. Great place to spend our honeymoon and plan on returning soon!

We celebrated our 20 year wedding anniversary at Lae Nani in this wonderful condo. The pictures and description of the property was exactly as described. We spent every morning on the lanai with a bit of a morning shower, coffee, geckos and the chirping birds. Every evening on the lanai we reflected on the day listening to the waves crash, watching the tikis get lit, and the day come to an end. The condo is fully stock with beach goodies and several card and board games which we also enjoyed. Great accessibility to the coconut coast walking and biking trail which we walked after our coffee every morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would absolutely return when we can.

Everything about this place is practically perfect. If the owner sees this nit, please discard the broken beach chairs in the closet; they are hazardous. But otherwise, this place is a gem. Rare to have air conditioning and we didn't always use it but once in a while and in the bedroom - heaven. The view, the easy access to both pool and ocean - we will be back for sure.

We were amazed by the views of this condo. Very clean n maintained condo. The owners did text us when we landed about possibly electrical plug issue in bathrooms and offered the maintenance guy to come. We did notice the bathrooms electric plugs were both tripped but my hubby was able to reset them and no need for maintenance. We loved it. The only suggestion I would make is extra shelves in the bathroom as there is no counter space especially in the master bath, that could have been the reason of the electric issue with the prior guest. We will be back. Kauai was amazing. Must do is natalie coast tour with snorkeling, canyon tour and the sugar plantation tunnel float.

This was my family’s second stay at this beautiful condo. The owners are incredibly helpful and messaged us on arrival day to check in and give us tips on using some of the appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked and being so close to Costco, we had such a nice time preparing food at home and eating on the balcony. The first time we came, we brought so much with us (beach towels, beach toys, toiletries, etc.) but after seeing how stocked the home was, we packed lightly this trip and it saved us a lot of hassle. The washer and dryer are a game changer! When arriving, I would advise looking around the home to see everything they have available, you’ll be very surprised/happy because the owners have thought of everything a family would need. The closet on the balcony has everything you’ll need for a beach day including a cooler, boogie boards and beach chairs.
Recommendations: Anini Beach was perfect for our 4 year old daughter… calm, shallow water and plenty of room to spread out on the beach. We even saw sea turtles. The Fresh Bite food truck in Hanalei is a good healthy food option and worth the drive. While you’re there, stop by Pink’s Ice Cream Parlor. Use the Lae Nani pool! It’s huge and never seems crowded. Night swimming was a nightly routine for us all and we met some really nice people over our 10 day stay. The farmers market is close by on Tues/Thurs and Saturdays and is walking distance from the condo.

It is worth staying here for the view alone! We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean, and laying in bed and hearing the waves crash on the beach! The grounds are very well maintained and there are gas grills and picnic tables close to the beach which are cleaned daily. Lava Lava Beach Club is right next store, and is fantastic for brunch on the beach, or live music as the sun sets. Coconut Marketplace is just beyond that with shops, restaurants and groceries, as well as bike rentals to ride the bike path up the coast! The hosts were very accommodating! Could not have asked for a better place to stay during our eight days in Kauai! The location is wonderful, the beach right on the property was perfect, and it was quiet. The unit was clean and well-stocked. FYI for those with mobility issues, it is on the third floor with no elevator access. This unit in particular also does not have a washer/dryer, but there is a laundry room on the property that is convenient and easy to use. Would absolutely stay here again! Mahalo!

I cannot say enough about this wonderful condo! Both place and location were fantastic. The condo had so much room for both of us and had everything we needed. Our favorite thing to do was have coffee every morning on the balcony that overlooks the beach. The condo is also located within walking distance of the Coconut Marketplace and several really good restaurants. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Unit is as beautiful as photos represent. Proximity to the ocean and view of is perfect. Landscaping is lovely and well maintained. Fortunately the early morning (3:00 a.m.) rooster calls were not nearby. The pool is large and clean.
Unfortunately the temperatures in mid September were about 5 degrees higher than normal with the humidity about the same. The building is set back from the ocean & there was little to no breeze. The only livable space was the air conditioned bedroom. When not out on excursions, shopping, or at the pool, we had to spend way more time in the bedroom than in the lovely living / dining room or kitchen. This, despite 4 fans running. All they circulated was hot and humid air. The owners agreed that it was unseasonably hot and recommended that we return later in the year. Our neighbors shared our misery & together we decided to leave our front doors open to hopefully get some circulation. It didn’t help.
We were disappointed to have a much anticipated vacation marred by so much discomfort & will not choose partial AC again.
Our thanks to our hosts for their hospitality and responsiveness. They can’t control the weather.
