This condo was perfect for we two senior citizens. We were in the first floor, just steps away from the pool and beach. There was a lawn in front of us which was great for our grandchildren who were in another condo on the property. Our condo was fully furnished. The staff were very helpful in answering any questions. A big yes for this property.

This property is lovely! The 3rd floor lanai provides a gorgeous view of the coastline, beach and well manicured grounds 24/7 (yes...at night the grounds are lit by tiki torches). The property has everything you need for fun...beach chairs, towels, pool float, umbrella for beach time and a pool and BBQ for staying on the property. Lae Nani is a great location for reaching all the Kauai sights in less than an hour. We loved the short walk to Lava Lava for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner and the easy walking path to Coconut Market Place! My husband and I would definitely stay here again :)

Absolutely gorgeous view and property grounds. Very convenient to lots of great food and easy drive to other parts of the island. Unit could be upgraded a bit. Specifically cushions on both living room and on lanai furniture sink in the middle and need cleaning. Most decorations lovely tropical but probably need replacing due to age. Nice and clean.

Everything is great about this property except that it doesn’t have air conditioning other than portable units in each of the bedrooms which were quite noisy. At times it was very uncomfortable in the other living areas given the high humidity on the island. The unit does have ceiling fans and other portable fans that does move the humid hot air around without cooling it. The location of the unit is great. The kitchen was well equipped. If you can tolerate a higher level of humidity this unit is perfect.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at Lae Nani. The unit I rented this time is perhaps one of the older buildings and due for an upgrade. Each time I entered the unit I was hit with a heavy mildew smell. Also the heat pump went off and on loudly in the bedroom bathroom, which was annoying. The metal slatted windows in the kitchen and off the decks were discolored like the metal was wearing down (white blotches). I loved my first experience in building 5 and was looking for a 1 bedroom this time. I love this place but I was uncomfortable with these issues.

The condo is within a few steps to the pool, barbecue and beach with a lovely view. It is nicely furnished with a comfortable bed and fully stocked kitchen. We appreciated the beach chairs and beach towels provided. The owners were quick to respond to communication. This is my sixth visit to Lae Nani and I will definitely come back to this unit again. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. We loved the decor and how nicely updated the entire unit was. The decor in the main bathroom was so fun - felt like I was taking a shower in the jungle! The view from the lanai as absolutely amazing...couldn't be beat! It was also really nice having the murphy bed, and we actually slept there most of the time so we could hear the sound of the waves at night. Our first morning, we realized that the coffee maker wasn't working, but the property manager was super responsive and brought us another one before the end of the day. The kitchen was well stocked and the plates/glasses/kitchenware were all really beautiful. The place was very clean and well-kept. We definitely plan to stay at this condo again the next time we go to Kauai!

The instructions about checkin & checkout were perfectly on point. Directions given from the airport were perfect letting us arrive and not be stressed about finding the condo. That being said it only got better from there, Teri & Ron have a spectacular place, right on the shoreline and there is a small beach just a few steps away. communication was also excellent since we had an issue with the lock that was easily explained by Teri & Ron. The location is quiet, except for the waves hitting the rocks but that's a compliment, not a complaint. if you require a/c just be aware there is a/c only in the bedroom but not in the rest of the unit. We had no issues since there was always an island breeze blowing. The info we received gave us some good recommendations for restaurants, food stores and sight seeing. We look forward to returning !

2 friends and I celebrated our 60th birthdays at this condo. We loved the location (walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, Lava Lava Restaurant, Passion Bakery - all of which we recommend!), million dollar or maybe 2 million dollar view from our lanai, pool that we had mostly to ourselves, spaciousness of the condo, and convenience to other areas on the island that we wanted to explore. Extra kudos to the Lae Nani grounds team who does an exceptional job maintaining the beautiful landscaping and keeping everything spotless. We were sad to leave!

Very clean and well decorated condo. That said, when outdoor temperatures reach into the mid-80s, airflow and cooling the unit are an issue, and that was the case with this unit. It had not been occupied for several days prior to our arrival, and so with fans and just a small A/C unit in the bedroom, it took several days to bring the temperature down to reasonably tolerable temps within all the rooms in this otherwise great condo!

We had a great time in Kauai as usual but we had some issues with the condo. We were a bit disappointed in the air conditioning. We came into the unit with the air already on and 2 fans going to move the air around. The back bedroom was not getting any of the air conditioning until we moved another fan into the back room. The ceiling fans were going also. We were really disappointed in the condition of the carpet in the unit. There were stains in the entry, dining room, living room and the master bedroom. The exhaust fan / light over the range did not work. The icemaker in the refrigerator did not work. The refrigerator handle was disgustingly dirty. The area rug on the lanai was moldy, and the chair cushions on the lanai were torn. It was not what we were expecting compared to the other units we have stayed in at Lae Nani.

We had a great time staying in this property. Actual conditions matched the pictures/description. It was easy to reach all parts of Kauai from this location and the landscaping was great. The dining recommendations were good and we loved walking to Passion Bakery and bringing back breakfast to enjoy on the balcony while watching the waves.

Classy place with beachfront right on the ocean bay! Everyone was really nice and went out of their way to be helpful. I asked a couple of staff if they were always so happy and helpful to which they uniformly replied they enjoyed being there.
Read a (1) previous review about cleanliness, but we found if updated and immaculate. We couldn’t figure out how to code in the front door, but a quick call to a very helpful owner explained it. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice condo community. Grounds well kept, beautiful ocean view, felt safe, quiet. Our condo was nice with amazing ocean view. It was clean with the exception of the main lanai off of the living room. Lanai floor had not been cleaned after the last party. The lanai floor was sticky and dirty. Some kind of "unknown" problem with the primary bedroom ceiling fan with light. The light was off when I went to bed but then in the middle of the night the light came on and it was unbelievably bright. Wakes you right up :( . The bed in the primary bedroom is very comfortable and my friend said her bed in the secondary bedroom was also very comfortable. We didn't use the TV, couldn't figure out how to use regular cable TV channels. Overall we rated the condo an 8 out of 10.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful condo. The views from both inside and outside on the lanai were outstanding. The location was great and allowed for short walks to many great restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, breweries, and cocktail places. The owners welcome book had many recommendations with their favorite restaurants, etc. and we tried many of them and loved them all. The owners were very easy to communicate with and were accommodating with our check out time. We had the best week and can’t wait to come back. Cannot recommend this rental enough!

The online description at VRBO (as wonderful as it is) did not do justice to the location, venue, and unit. This was the delight of our entire visit to Kauai. The unit was lovely, with perfect access to the grounds and the ocean too.

Clean, nicely decorated, comfortable condo in the best location. The lanai overlooks a lawn and garden that leads to a small swimmable, sandy beach. The view from the lanai and living room is sea and surf, and it sounds amazing. The condo doesn’t have great airflow so it would get a bit hot and stuffy without the air conditioning. But both units work great and we used them in the warmest parts of the afternoon and at night in the bedroom. The location is ideal - easy walking distance from a complex with shops and restaurants, and a short drive into Kapa’a. I would love to return and stay longer.

This property was awesome. The location was great. I wanted to be on a swimmable beach, but have easy access to both side of the island, and this place delivered. The rocked off part in the ocean was bigger than expected and there were even fish to see in there. The condo was clean and had everything needed. The chairs and boogie boards were a nice touch.

We really enjoyed the lanai every morning for breakfast, the view of the ocean and mountains is great. The unit is comfortable, but it doesn't have AC. The bedrooms are in the back, there's little breeze that makes it back there. They have lots of portable fans, but a couple of evenings it was pretty stuffy sleeping.
They had towels, chairs, a cooler and other things for the beach and other adventures around the island.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed in this particular unit, and it exceeds our expectations. It's beautiful, updated, FULLY stocked with everything you could need, and truly one of the best units in the complex. The views are incredible. The lanai feels private. The furniture is both gorgeous and comfortable. The property manager, Denise is so responsive & helpful. Walk around the corner to the Coconut Marketplace. Plenty of restaurants, grocery, & shops within a 5 minute drive. Central on the island to all of the adventures you want to have. Can't say enough good things and would readily stay here again should we have the opportunity to return.

So many amenities, particularly beach items such as chairs, umbrellas, toys, boogie boards, fishing equipment. What really made it special was the outreach by the owner, Stan. This unit is just as beautiful as advertised. The view facing the pool and beach can’t be beat. The interior is tastefully decorated and spacious enough to comfortably host our larger family (staying in other units) for gatherings. Having 2 bedrooms was ideal for managing a child and a baby. It is surprisingly well stocked, both for the kitchen and the pool and beach. We only wish we knew all that was available ahead of time so we could have avoided bringing things that were already there (e.g. travel crib), Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

For such an updated unit and gorgeously decorated space and price, we expected a more luxurious bed.. we had trouble sleeping all 3 nights it was so hard, we debated sleeping on the couch! Other than that we loved the unit and location.. but please consider getting a new mattress because without sleep it makes you grouchy on a beach vaca where all you want is to relax

This is a very well appointed condo w everything you could possibly need. High top chairs alllow for an unobstructed view that is beautiful! The only issue for us was the heat. The air conditioning is extremely loud and cannot match the heat even when limited to just the sleeping space 😔. We could never get the main room less than 85 degrees despite religiously closing windows and doors when the sun as up. There is no flow through. If heat is your thing and you can sleep though anything this is the place for you or consider another time of year as it is truly beautiful here❤️

I love Lae Nani for its island location; somewhat centrally located for day trips north & south. I also love its proximity to the ocean and the lovely swimming pool. The room itself has everything necessary for a comfortable stay; however, some of it looks a bit tired. The beds were quite comfortable though. We had to purchase toilet paper part way through our stay and also some WD40 to get the patio screen door to open all the way. When I looked for a place to store the remaining WD40, I saw two additional cans of WD40 on the shelf in the laundry area, so this must be an ongoing problem. The microwave was not working when we arrived, however, Krisha quickly brought us a replacement.

The Location and basic amenities were nice. There is an issue with the flooring -as a contractor and for liability purposes I recommend replacement. The broken edges and material type is not suitable for location and can lead to cut feet. Additionally the master bath sink plunger armature / actuator is not functional crating a plugged sink. Property was beautiful, condo clean & comfortable, perfect for our needs, great location (ocean view & beach view, beautiful landscape, and attention to detail) EXCEPT for finding our building and our condo. We recvd the check in codes in advance (appreciated that). We arrived after dark and could not find our building, let alone our condo. Please add lighted numbers to the buildings i.e. bldg 3, bldg 2, etc. The map at the office did not show "YOU ARE HERE" in order to better pinpoint and orient where we were (as 1st timers). The map to the property could have been bigger and around some type of lighting in order to better see it. I was not aware that another level of management was added (Blue Jade R/E-Dream Vacations Kauai) nor was there advance notice that by using a credit card for payments that we would be charged the bank transaction fee (approx. 7%). Altho the first transaction charge was reversed, the second one was not which was frustrating because I sent a check for the balance of our condo one month prior to the due date which was never received by Blue Jade so I had to use my c/c again and incurred the second fee.
This may be a little long but this was the first time I used VRBO so I may not be as sophisticated to know about these little things which could be helpful for other 1st timers. Thank you.

We loved every minute of our stay at this Lae Nani unit. Just steps away from the calm cove and relaxing saltwater pool, it was perfect for our family and our small baby. The place was clean, quiet, and kitchen was well stocked. The owners are very kind and responsive. We highly recommend and hope to come back!
