My spouse and I had a wonderful stay here for our south side leg of our Kauai trip! It’s very conveniently located near the beach, restaurants, and shops. It had everything we needed, including towels, beach chairs, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils/ pans. Plus coming home to air conditioning was fantastic after a hot day at the beach! The only thing I would point out is that the listing stated there were vending machines for laundry detergent. When we arrived we were on a time crunch to wash our clothes, and we couldn’t find any laundry vending machine. So we had to go back in town to buy a large thing of detergent. We left it for future use but would’ve been nice to know.
Otherwise we were extremely happy with our stay!

Our vacation rental experience was very good. We were able to pick up the keys to our poipu stay on our way from the airport in Lihue. Check in was easy. The apartment was clean and well furnished. The location was very nice, close to south shore beaches. Only slight negative was that the shower head is quite short. Other than that, everything else was great.

Great place to relax. Enjoyed snorkeling right in front. The pool was wonderful. We used the BBQ a few times, best steaks ever! We never used the tv, it was a little complicated and unnecessary.
Our only complaints are dull knives and cold with no water pressure or scalding shower.

Overall a nice place to stay in Poipu. Would have been nice to have AC but we survived without. Close to Beach House restaurant and shops. Nice sunset view close by. Also the lock box was kind of a pain to figure out at first especially arriving at night. Ours had a broken key inside.

This condo is awesome! It’s beautifully decorated with all the amenities needed for your home away from home.. great location across from the Beach House restaurant which is right on the water with beautiful sunset views. We also snorkeled at Lawai Beach which is right next to the Beach House Restaurant. It’s the best snorkeling beach in Southern Kauai. You can rent equipment right there and it’s very reasonably priced.
Colleen and Michael were so easy to communicate with. They gave us many recommendations of places to eat and things to do in Kauai. It was our first time in Kauai so it really was a big help and we really enjoyed all of their recommendations.
The breeze from the trade winds was really nice with the windows and sliding door open. It definitely was enough to keep us nice and cool. We did use the air conditioner at night just so we didn’t hear the chickens and birds which awaken early. They’re all over Kauai 😊
The grounds were so beautiful with fountains and tropical plants and trees. Everything is manicured perfectly.
If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Kauai, this is your place! Hopefully we’ll be lucky enough to return some day and stay here again. We fell in love with Kauai!

We enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning from the lanai with our coffee, and then heading out to walk to shops, sightseeing and beaches. The swarms of parakeets were fascinating to watch both morning and dusk. We enjoyed the resident chickens, too.
The unit was very easy to check-in to, very well stocked, very comfortable, and very clean. Natural ventilation and ceiling fans kept the place fairly comfortable throughout the day and night. The property is nicely maintained. Very nice pool, and clean bbq area.
There were a couple of hiccups, however, the owner was very responsive and helpful. We would recommend this unit

No A/C, the listing was honest but it was extra difficult to manage due to the birds, having the windows and doors open made the stay tolerable but difficult to sleep… but having to keep them open and listening to the infestation of rosters and crazy parakeets every night and morning like clock work made sleeping in or relaxing impossible! Condo was very well equipped and nice otherwise, pool was nice. The island is amazing and overall we had a great time there.

Paul communicated with us thoroughly, and promptly answered any questions. He even emailed suggested restaurants and attractions. Check in was a breeze.
The unit provides so many amenities such as:
Snorkeling items
Ice chest
Large insulated bag
Boogie boards
Two large plush Costco beach towels
Kitchen was stocked including olive oil, balsamic vinegar and quite the selection of spices….many other items too
Washer and dryer in unit was helpful.
We were quite comfortable in the unit and never turned on the TV.
We love the location and shopping for fresh ono to grill on the provided bbq.
The AC and fans were great and comfortable.
We enjoyed having the ocean at the balcony and tropical scenery on the front patio.
We look forward to booking this unit again!

We enjoyed our stay at Prince Kuhio, as it was close to many attractions, clean, and had what we needed for our four nights there. BUT we do feel like the condo posting and information provided at checkin could be more transparent and clear. The reasons for this are detailed below.
First, this condo doesn’t have an ocean view. Yes, if you walk onto the balcony and lean over to the right, it does. But you won’t see the ocean while sitting in the room. Slightly frustrating since this was one reason we picked this unit.
Second, the unit says it comes with soap. It does not say shampoo or conditioner, to be fair, but we did (naively, I suppose) assume that it would come with this. Just one of the many annoying things to realize.
Third, the bathtub was just the smallest tub we have ever seen. Hilariously tiny, but also unusable.
Fourth, the laundry was the most expensive coin operated laundry we have ever seen at a hotel/vacation rental. We did not even realize it was coin operated because it was not clear on the posting unless you clicked to read more details. Also, when it says the laundry is open from 8a-8p, they mean that they will lock your clothing inside at 8p. The signs were not clear about this, and we did have to contact many people on our last night to get it opened since we were flying out at 5a the next day.
Some of these things could have been avoided with a more clear unit posting, which would have made the stay as expected and much more enjoyable.

Everything about this resort and apartment is perfect. The only things I have to say is that we have to take the key at Lihue (30 minutes from Poipu) at 3pm witch is not convenient when you have an early flight. Also, the pool doesn’t have that much sun during the day and the apartment balcony has no intimacy.

Our rental was a lovely unit which had plenty of room for two people with seperate rooms - bedroom, bathroom, Kitchen, laundry and dinning room. It felt like a spacious apartment. Great double wardrobe with full length mirrored doors, plenty of drawer storage too for clothing. There was a real personal touch about the place with a fully equipped kitchen with all the appliances, pots, pans, storage containers, loads of cutlery and crockery that would ever need. A bonus having a dishwasher and clothes washer & dryer in the condo. A lovely tiled Lanai with nice outdoor bar stools and table. The indoor bar stools at the kitchen island bench were so comfy. All the furniture in the living room was comfortable. The bed had a thick soft mattress topper on it which was initially comfortable but a bit too soft for us as were the bed pillows though was nice to have a couple spare pillows in the wardrobe. It was such a treat to get the welcome pack with yummy food treats and so nice they also provided a shopping and cooler bag which we were allowed to take home. The only thing we wished could be changed was the shower - you could not move the head into the centre of the shower because of the shower caddy being in the way. That was really the only real downside to the condo itself. The use of the swimming pool was great & nice to have beach towels and plenty of linen. Coffee machine was great. We would most definitely love to come back to this place again.

I also always stay at PK condos for the price and location. 333 was a little smaller and more basic/bare bones than other units I have stayed in. Water temp is an issue as per other reviews (lukewarm or scalding and no in between). Cold water at all faucets with low pressure in general. But great view, AC, beach chairs/umbrella, small cooler and freezer packs.

We really enjoyed our time at this quaint Prince Kuhio condo near Poipu. What made this place great? 1. Location. Every place on the island was within about an hour drive. We liked being able to walk to the beach also. Having reserved parking on the first level of the parking garage was a perk. 2. Amenities. In the condo we appreciated the items already in place, including a cooler, plenty of kitchenware, and even simple things like ziplock bags, etc. It made if feel very welcoming. 3. Air Conditioning and ocean views from the patio!

Check-in was a breeze, it had all kitchen amenities, was close to several beaches (including the one across the street), the building has beautiful landscaping and was surprisingly quiet. The location was unbeatable—just a short drive to shops and restaurants, making everything incredibly convenient.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, with a few exceptions. The property is nicely located in Poipu with just a few steps to the beach. Parking is convenient, we never had trouble finding a spot. On our arrival the property was clean but had a few cleaning supply bottles, paint brushes left about. Not a big deal. The biggest note is that the position of the condo is in the stairwell, which is noisy due to foot traffic and is also windy. The stairwell creates a wind tunnel which passes through the louver window blinds on the front door creating a near constant howling/whistling sound that continued through the night. Just a side note, the beach gear (chairs, umbrella) is all broken so make sure to bring your own.
In summary, this is a nice condo, conveniently situated and well sized for 2 people, but could use some improvements before I would book again.

Overall an amazing place to stay, with beautiful beaches and easy access. It was wonderful sitting out on my patio enjoying the views of Prince Kuhio grounds; just full of lush tropical plants and trees.
The condo was the perect size for one or two people, with a full sized kitchen (fully equipped), comfortable chairs and dining set. And after long days of excercise and fun, I very much enjoyed the comfortable king bed and pillows!
I would definitely recommend Prince Kuhio!
