This was a wonderful place to stay for two adults to enjoy the Poipu area. It is a thoughtfully designed space that lives much larger than the actual square footage. It is well supplied and made us feel as if whatever we needed was there. A special aspect is that it is short walking distance to one of the more rewarding accessible snorkeling spots on the South Shore in front of the Beach House Restaurant. Jim, the owner, was extremely responsive and a very nice person to interact with. Hard to imagine someone being disappointed to stay at PK205

We absolutely loved staying at this place! The garden area, with all its beautiful flowers, feels like a little paradise. A bay is right across the street where you can snorkel and see turtles, colorful fish, and eels. Restaurants and other beaches are close by. Location is amazing, near the beach and several great restaurants. Also not too far for a day trip to Waimea Canyon and Kokee State Park. The condo had everything you'd need for a great time at the beach, chairs umbrellas snorkels. Paul is a great host. Extremely generous and responsive. My wife and I had an amazing time staying here. Cannot wait to come back!

I hate to give this place a bad review because the condo, location and owners were fantastic. What wasn’t great was the fact that the place is overrun with chickens (the whole island was, so maybe this happens at every place) and the roosters start crowing every night at 1:30 AM. We didn’t sleep thru the night our entire stay. We tried everything, windows open, closed, ear plugs. Finally sleeping with our Bose noise canceling headphones on (not comfortable). We were happy to leave for Maui. If I had seen this on the reviews I probably would have chosen another place.

This location is perfect for a quiet getaway. I was travelling on my own and looking for a quiet place close enough to everything I needed. The condo itself is the perfect size for one or 2 people. They supply everything you need (chairs, towels, cooler). I was there for 10 days and had enough necessities (TP, paper towels etc ) for the whole trip. The view is amazing, had my morning coffee watching sunrise every morning. The beach is right across the street, with a good truck if you need a treat. The pool is very nice and hidden to provide privacy. Overall everyone in the building was very respectful with noises. Parking was available daily. Laundry room was used daily by the cleaning staff so sometimes hard to find a machine available. No A/C in the condo but all the windows and ceiling fan provide sufficient breeze. Overall loved the condo and location, I will definitely come back to this location. Management office easy to find and pickup and return of the keys was easy. Staff very helpful and friendly. Overall great experience!

Loved the location, but there were some problems. The bed is/was terrible - lumpy and uncomfortable. Plus, there was no full-size couch to use as a substitute - only a four-foot rattan couch. So sleep was an issue.

Leslie was very responsive and helpful. Plenty of towels and shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Plenty of toilet paper and paper towels and Clorox wipes . Would stay again if we ever came to Kauai.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a lovely property with a swimming pool, lush vegetation and minutes away from a lovely viewing spot to watch the sunset.
If you are a smoker, beware that it is a smoke-free property. There are, however, a couple of location on the property where you can go.
A designated parking spot would be a nice addition.
Thanks very much Paul for renting us your condo. It was so nice to have a place to call home that was not a hotel room. Your beach chairs certainly came in use as well. Your condo was so handy to Koloa and the many beaches that we visited. It was very well equipped with everything that we needed.

This place was great! Beautiful view, comfy king bed, super clean and included everything you need! Its close enough to the Kukui'ula shopping center to walk. We did, almost every day. Also the Beach House restaurant is amazing and conveniently located right across the street. We rented a car for 3 days and there was plenty of parking. No AC but it wasn't needed, there is a great breeze that blows through. Also, I very much appreciated the ear plugs in the medicine cabinet... the roosters outside wake up early 😂

This property was in a great location. Lovely view of the ocean and the park next door. It was very well suited for two people and very well equipped with everything you would need. Short drive or walk to shops. Nearby beach was not as swimmabke as going to closest Beach park had beautiful sunsets.

Property was very clean was able to walk around barefooted. The lanai was exceptional wonderful view. Had all of the amenities needed to go to the beach and function for 12 days. I kind of wished I would’ve gotten a reply to my message to find out what was available so we wouldn’t have had to drag so many things with us The lock doors in the kitchen would rattle at night. You need to put some Felt liner in them so that they wouldn’t rattle With the wind in the middle of the night. Other than that, it was a wonderful Stay.

Spacious studio well equipped for the beach and cooking. Before arriving, I thought it would be too small, but no, the space was ample, much better than a hotel room. There's even a small patio with a little table for eating outside on the pool side. The bath and beach towels were of high quality. I have no hesitation in recommending it for 2 people.

I love this property as this was my 3rd time. The location is stellar. The views are breathtaking and the comfort of the bed is relaxing. I would only recommend baggies, spices and condiments and a wine stopper in the kitchen as it is basically stocked.

A nice location with beautiful sunsets right outside the door on the veranda. We used the kitchen extensively and found everything we needed. The dishwasher was a nice extra. There was no good place to store our cloths. All extra linnen/towles and pillows etc under the bead could be reduced to make room for that. We also lacked a table on the nice balcony. Replace the big chairs in the hallway with smaller and make way for an additional table and possibly cloth storage. In general we were very happy with this condo.Management was generally not available which felt a bit strange.

Pool is top notch. Person who takes care of clarity & ph is great. I’m a 30 year public health officer. Stayed VRBO in Smokies by Dollyland and couldn’t even see your feet. Great location by Beach House and Popoi Beach. Saw tearing down Coconut Palms Hotel in Kapa’a where Blue Hawaii filmed with Elvis 1961.

This place was a great hub for our south shore activities. We enjoyed our view, the kitchen, the property was gorgeous, ease of parking, and great communication from the hosts. Also, the property manager was really nice and helpful. It’s important to leave the key in the lock box at all times (which I was informed to do before but totally spaced on). This is important because the wind could cause like a vacuum in the condo and shut the door unintentionally. I went inside the condo and put my stuff down (along with the door key) and then stepped outside to see what my boyfriend was doing and the door shut behind me. The property workers were helpful in this situation and getting us back inside. Just keep the key in the lockbox at all times and don’t do what I did. Anyways, everything was clean and we had everything we needed to make breakfast in the morning. We enjoyed watching the chickens in Kuhio park. Bring quarters to do laundry. The housekeepers like to use the laundry facilities in the mornings.

We appreciated the management job done by Kauai vacation rentals. The on-site property manager was unfriendly and unresponsive but when we were unable to reach him, the Kauai vacation rentals person handled it immediately and efficiently. This property is fine, but the furniture is uncomfortable and poorly arranged. The TV is mounted on the same wall as the bed headboard so you can’t see the TV from the bed. There are two rattan chairs where you can sit and see the TV but they are extremely uncomfortable. Well, we were not here to watch TV, it was nice to catch up on news when we were getting ready for our next activity so this was something that affected our ability to enjoy the property. Addressing this would make the unit much more comfortable.

This bright and airy studio type condo provided my husband and me a wonderful beach getaway! It was clean, comfortable, and just across the street from a beach with fantastic snorkeling! The design was a bit unusual with only a curtain into the bathroom and an open “window” from the shower into the living room area, but we got used to it. Would suggest a few hooks to hang towels etc since you can’t hang them to dry on the balcony…overall, it was a lovely place to stay!

The only downside was that the electrical oven and stovetop stopped working during our stay and could not be fixed in time, so we had to throw out some food we had planned to cook. First time in Kauai, came to celebrate a birthday (Bill’s 75th). LOVED the condo. Looking at your picture of the ocean view from the lanai was exactly what we experienced, perfection! The place was immaculate, very comfortable and had literally everything we needed and more. We usually are on the go and don’t hang out in the place we’re staying in but here, we spent more time (mostly on the lanai) and were so comfortable. I was originally concerned about no AC but the breeze was all we needed it added to the island experience. Looking forward to our return visit, highly recommend. A big mahalo! ❤️

We discovered a new flower every time we came or went. We literally were only a few steps from the pool. The bed was very comfortable and had a great park view and a bit of an ocean view too. Better than advertised. Wonderful pool and hot tub. Plenty of chairs and boogie boards for 4. In house washer and dryer. Short drive to grocery store. Hanalei and Kīlauea towns 15 minutes away. Also a great community luau at Anaina Hou Community Park outdoor pavilion twice weekly. Plenty of farmer’s and crafts markets in the area too. Not to mention great beaches at Anaini, Hā’ena and Tunnels also within 15 minutes. Our hosts were very responsive to our needs and questions. Mahalo.
