Baldwin Beach Park features 3/4 miles of beautiful sand and a soccer field, and is one of Maui's life-guarded beaches. The ocean here tends to be rough and murky (from nearby runoff), and so not always great for swimming. There's a long shallow pool at the western section of the beach, protected from surf by a rocky wall where kids like to play and swim. To get to this section one can also park at the Maui Country Club end of the beach at the parking area off of Kealakai Place. Baldwin beach is popular among residents and is very busy during weekends..
