Fantastic location. Great surf in front of property and we were able to rent a couple of great surfboards from 808 surf shop…they even delivered. All the restaurants are within walking distance and there is an ABC store you can walk to for supplies. Staff was top notch. View was spectacular. Best VRBO we have ever stayed in and definitely worth the price. Family did not want to leave.

This condo was perfect for our family of 5. Ideal location, great condo amenities (the grill area was perfect for grilling our fresh caught fish from the day), relaxing, clean, and had everything we needed. We really loved the garden level access. You can see the ocean from the patio and loved how convenient it was to just walk right out! The host's communication was great and check in was seamless. We are frequent VRBO renters and this property checked all the boxes! We would highly recommend!

I’ve stayed at the Kaanapali Alii Since I was a kid and I absolutely love this place!
This unit is perfect! We spent every morning on the balcony, looking at the great view, and there is so much space it makes you feel like you’re home.
Can’t beat the location as it’s a quick walk down to Whaler Village and a short drive anywhere you need to go. The boogie boarding is right outside our hotel with my kids loved.
I will absolutely stay here again.Regan was amazing to work with and very friendly and informative. I highly recommend this unit if you’re considering going to Maui!’

We were in #123. When we first walked in we were surprised how nice it was, way nicer than the pictures. Each room was spacious and each room had a TV. We used the washer and dryer and it really came in handy with our large group.
We panicked a bit our first night because of a luau at the Hyatt. It sounded like they were on our balcony. The good news is that it ends at 830 sharp and it’s only once a week. The grounds are really beautiful and the staff helpful and friendly. They have a chef that will cook your steaks and they cook them perfectly. The only thing we missed was not having food or drink service. But that is typical for these types of condos.We would definitely stay here again if we need that kind of space. There were 6 of us. Everyone loved it.

We so enjoyed our stay at Ka'anapali Alii. The condo was very clean and well appointed with everything that we needed for our stay. Beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas were all included to go out on the beach. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals. The beds were extremely comfortable and the balcony provided wonderful views of the grounds. The concierge service was wonderful with booking a family photo session to commemorate our trip of a lifetime. We hope to come back to Maui soon and will rebook this condo again.

This particular unit has a breathtaking view of the mountains AND the beach. Lovely real estate, walking distance to Whalers Village for shopping, delicious dinner at Monkeypod restaurant, coffee in the morning. Amenities are fabulous. The unit is close to the elevator. My parents who are seniors enjoyed the stay. Parking is easy in a deck, but you can pick up and drop off at the front door of the building. We loved the area and it is slightly recessed to give privacy. Westin and Sheraton luau are within minutes. All staff were extremely friendly. Highly recommend for families who want close walk to pool, beach, shopping and dining as this location is ideal.

This was my first family’s trip to Hawaii and we couldn’t have picked a better property, or rented from better owners. The condo and property were impeccably clean and condo was so spacious. Sitting on patio overlooking the mountains was the perfect start to each day. We definitely took advantage of having a fully stocked kitchen and a supermarket only a few minutes away, as there is no restaurant on the property. We would definitely stay there again. I absolutely love this property. The location is perfect. We love hanging out at a Palapa, listening to the waves and reading a good book. The units are spacious, clean and well stocked with everything you need for a great vacation. I will be returning soon

Aloha! This is such a beautiful facility. Right next to the beach. Pools and hot tubs are in excellent condition. Our unit had lots of spices available for cooking. The fridge gets completely cleaned after each visitor so you’ll need butter, salad dressings, jams… There is a Keurig for coffee and the facility has coffee brewed each morning by the pool. The grills are great to use on a night you want to stay in for a meal. Some nights there is a grill master that will cook your food for you. Just bring cash for tipping. The wind is loud at night so if you’re a light sleeper ear plugs would be useful. Mahalo!

We have stayed at many properties at the Alii but this one is the topper! Unobstructed views of the ocean, black rock, and the beach! The condo was beautifully designed with comfortable bedding and cozy furniture. Very clean! Would highly recommend this to anyone! We will be back!

This is the second time I have booked with Brittany and Katie. The room is perfect as we expected based on our first rental with them. The room is spacious and clean and as advertised. The view is great and second floor location gives a great ocean view! We have 6 in our family so the sofa bed in the living room allows us to all have our own space to sleep. The Ali’i staff are extremely kind and helpful and Communication with owners and management has been timely and easy. Highly recommend.

The condo was as described, but for some reason we thought the beds in the second bedroom were qns or a queen and a full/twin. We had planned our sons sharing one bed and my daughter getting the other. It was pretty crowded.
The view if you look up, is gorgeous! The mountains are amazing and we often had a rainbow to admire. However, looking straight out, the view is of the tennis court and parking structure. Not a deal breaker, but we certainly felt like that picture of the view was a bit deceptive.
When I read the description and it said “pantry” I mistook that to mean there were some basics stocked there. Had I realized that all there would be is salt and pepper, I would have packed seasonings from home. I HIGHLY suggest bringing any seasonings you might want to cook with to save money.
We stayed for 2 weeks and were given one sponge. I believe people who stay for 1 week get a sponge and felt that it would have been fair that we would have gotten two. Suggestion-bring an extra from home.
Bowls and containers were perfect and the cookware was also nice quality and in perfect shape.
Beds were comfortable, AC was good, the primary shower was fantastic. Plenty of nice towels for showering.
We loved having the washer and it would have been awesome if there had been laundry baskets!!!

The condo is decorated very nicely. Some areas could've been cleaned more thoroughly. The living room furniture was comfortable, but the master bed was not. The living room patio doors fully open to the lanai, which made it nice to extend the living area. However, the slider didn't work well at all--very hard to open. The kitchen was well stocked and they provided beach chairs & things to use at the beach. The property manager, Kat, was very responsive to our needs during the stay.

The property was great! The only shortcoming was the kitchen wares. Three wine glasses and three old-fashioned glasses for a two-bedroom unit? And over 1,000 a night? A checklist might be used going forward. But the onsite management brought us glasses quickly.

Highly recommend staying here. The location was perfect with easy access to the pool and beach. We enjoyed using the grills while watching the sunset. We took a sunset dinner cruise that picked up just a few feet down the walkway. We were able to walk to Whalers Village for dining and shopping without having to worry about parking. The owner and manager were very responsive, we will definitely be back.

The condo was perfect for our family of 6. The condo was very clean, kitchen had everything we needed from a cooking perspective and the beds were incredibly comfortable! Only recommendation would be more paper towels and a large dust mop to quickly sweep the floors. We loved that we could walk from the large patio to the beach in about 30 seconds! Great spot on Kaanapali beach! We appreciated the peace and quiet of the property and pool area in comparison to the larger resorts on the beach walk.

We lost our home in the Lahaina fire and we came back to the island to begin the healing process and handle things going on in Lahaina .
ALII was a very nice location close to everything and meet all our needs. This condo was beautiful and Quiet.
I may consider buying a unit in ALII.

Great condo, very clean, well stocked, lots of amenities and liked the extra touches like coffee, treats, water bottles, bath products and housekeeping during our stay. Centrally located and an easy 5 minute walk to Whalers Village for shopping and dining options.
Only feedback we have is that the showers lack grab bars and it proved challenging for my 85 year old dad to use the master shower with greater confidence. Additionally, the guest bathroom shower/toilet room seems to lack ventilation and the shower room gets very hot because there isn't any AC vent in the shower/toilet room. It would also be helpful if the owners gave more instructions for operating the TV in the living room. We found the instructions to be lacking and the TV cumbersome to operate compared to the TVs in the bedrooms. Overall, our concerns/feedback didn't detract from a wonder visit and we very much enjoyed staying at the condo.

Great location - close to Whaler’s Village and many cute restaurants close by. We spent each morning walking the amazing beach where we swam with the turtles. The grounds of the hotel are well kept and grilling pool side was great for the family. Our room was clean and newly renovated and the staff were all lovely!

We have stayed at many vacation rentals and this one was pretty typical of most of our rentals.
First some positives about the property: The location is perfect!, The resort itself is very nice (pool, staff, cleanliness, safe), The views from condo deck/balcony are amazing (both inland mountain and beach), The beds are very comfortable, The A/C is spectacular and kept the condo very comfortable, The kitchen is nice and the appliances all worked well, There was enough sleeping space, although the one "extra" sleeping area was a bit unusual in design as the people in the second bedroom walked through the sleeping area to get to the main bathroom.
Now a few negatives: The property is not managed by the Aali Resort itself, so if you need extra TP/garbage bags, etc. they cannot help you, There was only about 4 rolls of toilet paper provided at the beginning of our week, and for multiple people using 2 bathrooms, it wasn't a lot. I contacted the property manager and eventually got some extra rolls, We also had to contact the property manager for extra garbage bags. So although the condo is nice, it wasn't supplied well for a weeks stay with multiple people. The property manager offered to Venmo me if I had to buy extra supplies. The property, although comfortable was a bit worn, stains on furniture, worn patio furniture, torn screen door on patio, etc. which is not unusual for a rental property, I understand that.
Next time I may consider a property managed by the resort.

We enjoyed the spacious condo. Upon check in, they did not have our reservation in the system, but they didn’t skip a beat and got it resolved quickly. The condo is beautiful and has an amazing view. We enjoyed the easy walks to Whaler’s Village and nearby restaurants, and it was also very quick to get in and out of the parking deck and onto the main road as we explored the island of Maui. The resort complex is well-maintained, and the views from the deck are outstanding. We had surfers right outside our window for three days. The condo kitchen was well-stocked and we were provided a nice starter set of basics like paper towels and dishwasher detergent. The beds are comfortable and the tv worked (kind of rare these days). Also enjoyed the beach chairs and portable cooler. Great vacation.

Overall the location of this condo is perfect. Easy walking to the Whalers Village and a stones throw from the beach. The inside of the condo needs a lot of work. The furniture is older and the place looks rundown. It needs some serious maintenance and TLC. I won't list all the repairs that need to be made.

We all loved the Kannapoli Alli. Its very peaceful here and we loved laying out by the pool as it was not crowded at all. Our condo was on the 9th floor and we had great views of the Westin Luau. We will definitely be back!
