Close to whalers and the snorkeling in front was amazing. The unit itself is missleading online. It’s very dark and old. The cabinets in kitchen and bathrooms were dirty. Molding falling off in the kitchen. Washer drain smelled of horrible mildew, had to keep the door shut our entire stay. Bathroom in den has no privacy at all. Doors have slots so you can hear everything. The sink didn’t drain well if you left it on for 5 seconds or more. It had some updates and wasn’t horrible but we wouldn’t stay there again. Maybe a different unit.. both TV’s in both bedrooms did not work.. we usually stay at the Maui Eldorado which is known for being older and it felt older than that.and dirty.

We have been staying at the Ka’anapali Ali’i for over 30 years and this was one of the superior stays we’ve had. Terrific location, plenty of space and beautiful views. Bonnie was outstanding from the start of the process. Very communicative, responsive and overall easy to work with. She did a terrific job at explaining the amenities of the condo and met every expectation.

The condo was so clean and quiet and much more spacious than we expected. Location was great. The only thing we did not know was that the pool view from the pictures are not Kaanapali Alii. A little disappointed about the pool, but over all was a great trip. We had many great shows from the Luau from the balcony. Pretty great! The owners were great to communicate with and had no issues with that. The garbage disposal decided not to drain and the sink backed up at one point, however, one of the ladies in our group fixed it. Really. Great stay the only thing was that we couldn’t watch TV someone before us messed it up and I had to call the owner but it never got fixed not a big problem since they have TV’s at the pool. The Confo was clean and easy to find I would just say it is a little outdated but we would definitely stay in it again

Amazing views from inside and from the lanai. The condo was equipped with everything we needed to make our vacation stay perfect. Beds are comfortable and there is plenty of storage for clothes. We felt at home right away. The area is close to shopping and dining. Wonderful pool and covered area. The hosts are delightful to work with. We definitely would stay in their home again.

We loved our time at this property! There were seven of us - five adults and two kids - so the sleeping arrangements were perfect, with everyone getting a bed. There was lots of room both inside the unit and on the lanai, and we spent much of our time near the pool, on the beach or wandering down to Whalers Village. Everything was as advertised with the unit, and all of the on-site staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

We were very impressed with our stay at Kaanapali Alii. It was a great price for the location, very close to Whalers Village which has an abundance of shops and restaurants. The outdoor facilities are spotless and we enjoyed BBQ’ing a few nights as it was just nice to relax at the resort. The apartment itself is slightly dated but don’t let that stop you from staying here as the beds are very comfortable and it has everything you need. The views from the balcony are lovely too! Would not hesitate to return here or recommend to friends and family

My husband, my cousin and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo. It is spacious and has everything (and more) that we needed to make our stay very comfortable…kitchen very well supplied, a closet with pool/beach amenities (including a cooler), lots of extra towels/linens and many more items to help our stay relaxing.
The view from the lanai is beautiful…a view of the beach, as well as the golf course and up the mountain. The beach walk in both directions was easily accessible. Parking was great and nice size spots.
We were on a flight that was scheduled to land late in the evening, so it was about midnight when we arrived at the condo. There was no one in the lobby, but there was a phone number to call…I called and spoke with a person who arrived at the lobby within 5 minutes. He got us checked in and explained where to unpack, park and where our room was. He even checked to make sure we got to our room fine.
I contacted the accommodation host a couple of times before we arrived, he responded quickly and was very helpful and pleasant.
We had a very positive and wonderful stay in this condo. We would stay here again.
This was my first time of booking with Vrbo, I will book with Vrbo again.

I stayed here with my family while extended family stayed in another unit at the Kaanapali Alii. This unit is so conveniently located on the ground floor. Although it doesn’t face the ocean, we enjoyed sitting on the patio facing the garden while drinking our morning coffee. The unit as quiet and secluded. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We had an issue with a toilet running and low water pressure in the sink but I was able to text the property manager and they sent a handyman out the same day. I would absolutely stay here again.

Highly recommend this condo - it was so well designed and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay from beach chairs to board games. The owners were very helpful and always prompt in responding to messages. It was also a pleasant surprise to get the top notch service of the Ali’i concierge. The only recommendation I have for the owners is to consider adding vent fans to the bathrooms as they get quite humid and warm when the showers are running.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kaanapali Alii 416. The location was perfect, on the ground floor and just adjacent to the pool area which made it great for the 3-year-old in our group. She loved running around on the lawn area every day and it was quick and easy to go back and forth between beach/pool/condo. There were 6 of us in our group with more than ample space in our unit. Our unit had everything you could want (a few more large dinner plates would be useful) and more. We will definitely visit again and request the same unit.

Clean, beautiful property. Well situated to beach access. Pool area is well equipped. Close to Whalers Village for restaurants and shops @ 200 steps down beach path. Next door to Westin for Starbucks or restaurants. Condo was real nice and well equipped. While it overlooked beach path and parking garage it was fine. We were out most of the time and there was no noise. I would highly recommend.

This is a good property but not perfect. Bedroom TV was not plugged in and took time to work out. Living room TV directions were out of date and referenced direction for remotes that are not there. Kitchen surfaces had grease film and wood surfaces needed varnish. Great location but the palce is a little tired looking.

We loved this resort. The pool and hot tub was great. We enjoyed the personal chef cooking us dinner on the BBQ one night-what a treat! Very close distance to Whalers village with great shopping and restaurants. Condo was clean, beds comfortable and really quiet Unit. Had all the amenities we needed. The furniture and beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking essentials. It would have been nice to have some foil or tupperware for leftovers but we made do. Fun place to stay. The location was beautiful! We loved being so close to the beach and Whaler's village. My children loved having their own beds and bathrooms. Loved the pool and gym. There was a shuttle service van that took us to a restaurant and laua. The condo was lacking a couple of supplies such as a dishwasher detergent, travel coffee mugs and more plastic cups. We wish there was a small vacuum in the condo. There was a broom but you can't sweep sand off a rug. There was also sand in the dryer. We called the Maui Vacation Rentals and they brought over dishwasher liquid and someone to vacuum the sand. They were very responsive. There were some unforeseen issues. We checked in around 10 pm we and they could not find our reservation. It's because it was through Maui vacation rentals. The next morning we got a text saying there was a water main break and we did not have any water. We were told to use the bathrooms at the hotels next door. They fixed the water as soon as possible. Overall we enjoyed staying there.

Kaanapali Ali’i is my favorite place to stay on Maui. This was a special trip for my dad and me in memory of my mom’s passing. The condo was great. Amazing view especially perfect for sunset watching, I can only imagine during whale season. While the layout was odd if I was buying it was great for vacation. The 2nd bedroom does open onto the living room. We had a problem with the Tv and the property manager responded immediately. The property itself is beautiful. Very quiet and well kept. The staff is so friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a Maui getaway. I’ll definitely be renting from Maui Resort Rentals again!!

This two bedroom corner condo is the perfect place to stay in west Maui. The condo is well-appointed and has a remarkable view of the Pacific Ocean as well as a view back toward the northeast, where we saw a handful of rainbows! The condo is stocked with all the kitchen gadgets you need, soft linens, and comfortable furniture. There are separate air conditioners in the bedrooms to adjust for your perfect sleep temperature. The host was easy to reach and kept us informed of property information. The bell boys parked our vehicle and brought all of our belongings into our condo, as well as helping us again when it was time to check-out. This lodging experience exceeded our expectations!

This 2b/2b was a great option for our family stay. Walking distance to the nearby Whalers Village shops and restaurants. Very clean. Beds were comfortable. TVs in both bedrooms plus living space. The condo's lanai is on the backside of the property near the garage space, but lush plant life occludes the view and makes it feel pretty private. We would definitely come back to this condo.

The unit has an amazing view, and well stock kitchen for cooking and grilling our favorite meals. The three bedrooms were ideal for 4 adults and 2 beds in one bedroom for children ages 5 and 7. Fantastic location. Great surf in front of property and we were able to rent a couple of great surfboards from 808 surf shop…they even delivered. All the restaurants are within walking distance and there is an ABC store you can walk to for supplies. Staff was top notch. View was spectacular. Best VRBO we have ever stayed in and definitely worth the price. Family did not want to leave.
