We stayed in room 706. Although it was a little dated it had most things we needed. The view from this room was spectacular! The bed was comfortable. We could hear the ocean at night. We made a few dinners in the condo. Having a few more kitchen tools would have made it more perfect but it wasn’t a huge issue. We had no construction noise as advertised and everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Will stay again in a minute!

GREAT location/GREAT amenities, and a family friendly resort. We especially enjoyed the newly renovated kids pool…hours of fun. Grocery store across the street was bonus.
Corner room with Garden/Pool/Ocean view and wraparound lanai was outstanding. Floor plan was comfortable and perfect for our party of 6 (4 Adults/2 Children).
Kaanapali Shores is an excellent value and had everything we needed for the week. Unit could use a cosmetic update on furniture, and desperately needs new screens, but other than that, if you are looking a clean/comfortable/convenient property…this is a winner.

Nicely maintained property with all the comforts of home! The location is hard to beat, steps from the beach and the lanai looks out directly to the ocean. Parking is also very close to the unit which was so handy for coming and going. The unit is nicely decorated and very cozy, plenty of space for our family of 5.

We enjoyed this property and the access to the beach. It felt like our own private beach. The unit was so convenient any it was great to have a kitchen.
My only recommendation would be to have a broom and dust pan in the unit to help clean up any left over sand.

My family have been to Maui many times now and always stay at the same place, with Costco travel. This time we decided to change it up and will never again. The room did not have a pull out couch like pictured, so my daughter had to sleep on the floor. The two large burners on the stove did not work. The internet to watch Netflix at night did not work. If I had known it would be that bad I would never had spent my hard earned money!! Never again.

We had previously stayed at this resort 5 years ago (at a different unit) so we knew the lay of the land and the area and wanted to return. The location is truly great because restaurants, food trucks and grocery store are within walking distance.
When we arrived at the condo, the door code did not work. This made us a little nervous at first because we had groceries with us that needed to be put into the refrigerator. We texted the property manager and within minutes he sent us a new code. So that was a relief! We entered and found things "OK". but there was a few things that were obvious that house keeping seriously missed. We decided to ask the property manager to have the quilt/coverlet on the bed changed out since there appeared to have been blood along with a few other stains on it. He replied again quickly and said he would have someone come take care of it immediately. We think he came personally to change it out because within a half of an hour he came knocking on the door with a new quilt. Very much appreciated! Again, there were a few other items that did need some attention but we chose to not even bother with those things because we truly just wanted to enjoy our stay and relax as we had traveled almost 24 hours to get there.
The pictures on the listing do not show the beautiful view from the balcony well enough. It was so nice and was probably our favorite spot.
Overall- a great stay and the property manager was very accommodating

Unfortunately, we found that the property did not match the description in the listing. Additionally, there was a strong mildew smell that made our stay uncomfortable. My wife and I stayed one night and left for the remainder of our week vacation and booked with Marriott down the street.
We also experienced difficulty in communication with you (host), as our concerns were not met with a lack of responsiveness and a condescending tone, which added to our frustration.
I believe it’s important to share this feedback, as it may help improve the experience for future guests. I would book elsewhere and avoid this Wal-Mart feeling condo with mildew.
The owner was unwilling to provide any type of refund as well.

The unit was clean and comfortable. As advertised, it was a short walk to the sand and water and closer still to the pools and on-grounds restaurant. It easy walking distance to a grocery store, local restaurants and food trucks, and a short drive to popular restaurants and an outdoor mall with upscale shopping and other areas of interest. We enjoyed our stay and quickly felt relaxed and happy we chose this rental.

This unit has so much potential but needs some love! It’s vintage 1980s and furnishings are portrayed accurately on line, but basic maintenance has been neglected.

The location of the unit is perfect steps away from the sand and very close to the pool. Waking up to the ocean view was beautiful! When we arrived we were surprised to find a huge spider web from the entrance of the master bedroom to the fan. It's was minimum 3 ft by 3ft with a large spider with eggs. I contact management which he advised he would send someone to clear. But my husband was able to do it himself. Aside from that inconvenience which was out of management and the resorts control it was perfect!

One of the best condos we’ve stayed in in Hawaii with great hosts…to which we got to meet both during our 2 week stay! Nicely renovated, great appliances, dishes, pots, etc. supplied with toiletries, cleaners, dishwashing/dishwasher soaps, beach items including boogie boards, beach toys and chairs. Great location steps away from beach, pool/hot tub, showers to rinse off, and there’s a poolside restaurant with live music on weekends and a few hotel shops for souvenirs, food, drinks, surf board rentals, etc. Awesome location and would definitely stay here again!

Low key resort with nice pools, pool bar and restaurant, shops, gift shop and convenience mart with alcohol, limited groceries, snacks, candy, protein drinks, all at reasonable costs.
The room was at the farthest end of the resort. A map indicating it's location would be helpful. There was no pullout couch as pictured/featured. A new mattress is desperately needed. Also, a pizza cutter would be a plus.
Overall, the studio met our needs, was clean, with extras like wake boards and beach chairs. The freezer also has an automatic icemaker which was quite nice.
The Food Truck lot should also be featured along with local Time grocery store.

We are an active family and loved this unit which is on the ground floor. Being able to exit onto the patio and grass area, with instant access to the pool and beach was awesome. The unit was functional and we liked the layout. The Kaanapali shores is a great property, not luxury but well kept with easy parking, good facilities on site and across the road from a supermarket, food truck market and easy access to the west of the island.

Loved being on the ground floor with quick access to the pool and beach. But still it was quite private and not too much noise from the pool. The room had all necessary beach things like chairs, noodles and cooler. I do wish the room had a safe for valuables. Both pools were for families and we would have appreciated an adults only option.

Our view was breathtaking and the oven was very soothing to fall asleep to each night. The short walk to the pool, beach, restaurant and lobby were so convenient.
The kitchen was well stocked and it was such a pleasant surprise to see beach chairs, boogie boards, swimming fins and even a cooler available for use during our very comfortable stay.

The ocean views from this room are amazing! You’re back from the ocean, but can see the resort pool, the restaurant on site, the ocean and sunsets.
Across the street is a grocery store, restaurants and directly in front of the hotel is a food truck park. The location was so convenient to everything we wanted to do!
I would highly recommend staying here if you’re coming to Maui. No need to worry about bringing towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler or beach umbrella, they have it all here for you! Having the washer, dryer and kitchen was also perfect for our stay.

We had issues from the beginning with this place and I think it was mostly an issue with Vacasa. We asked about a pack and play for our toddler before leaving and nobody was willing to see if this place had one, which it did! We spent money to check in the pack and play when there was already one there. Also, the early check in policy for Vacasa is a joke. Nobody was in our unit for several days before us but we weren’t notified of early check in until a couple hours before.
I saw one review about roaches for this unit and it was a serious problem for us. We found 15-20 roaches while we were staying here. This might be a resort issue as we also saw many of them around the pools and walking to and from the room. As for bug spray, Vacasa didn’t want to provide it or any help to remedy the issue. We bought raid and a bug barrier spray just to try and keep them out but for the most part they stayed in the owners cabinets and behind the appliances.

The property and room checked all the boxes. The one bedroom and full kitchen was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The balcony was a definite plus. The view of the beautiful garden pool area and the ocean were breath taking. It was a short walk through the property to the entrance of the beach. The property is located near food trucks, and a small strip mall with a grocery store.
Would definitely come back to this property and choose this room.
