Amazing Thanksgiving stay! The VRBO at Kaanapali was perfect for our group of 4 adults and a 4-year-old. The location was unbeatable—close to the beach and family-friendly activities. The property was clean, well-stocked, and spacious, with everything we needed for a comfortable holiday week. I needed a place with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom for my 3 kids. This was perfect for 17, 14 and 10 year old. With the full kitchen we were able to go to the grocery store across the street to stock the fridge. The location on the beach had the perfect waves that the buggy board had hours of fun. Pool/staff was all great!

We just returned from our trip to Maui and we stayed our entire 10 day stay at this unit in Ka'anapali Shores Resort. My husband, 8 year old, 17 year old and myself all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The unit covered all our needs and the in-unit washing machine/dryer was very convenient. The resort itself is beautiful as well and in a great location with a full grocery store directly across the street. We also saw turtles in the waters right off the beach at the resort! Would definitely stay here again the next time we travel to Maui!

The rooms and the property are pretty dated, but overall the location is great, the pools were very enjoyable, and the staff was very friendly. This served as a great home for our family of 4 (including a 2 year old and 4 month old). I would recommend as long as you're not expecting anything luxurious.

The condo is large like all Kaanapali Shores, very conveniently located, Times food store is across the street , food court, including fresh fruit is right next door. But the host here was extraordinary. She left us coffee, oat milk in the fridge, snacks, cookies, and a Thank you note. She lives nearby and she offered to help with anything. Also the place is very clean, the bed is very comfortable and the sofa in the living room is wide and long enough for 2 adults to stretch out on it.

The room was spacious, clean and had what we needed. I appreciated the brita filter they provided. The people at the reception desk and other staff were helpful, friendly and kind. The pool was clean and nice and the trees providing shade by the ocean was divine. I wish we had more of a direct view to the ocean rather than the partial view. Otherwise, it was wonderful!

While the unit is a bit dated & kitchen had only 2 regular glasses, the view is amazing!! The bed is very comfortable- slept great. Loved the passcode on the door so you don’t have to search for a key card. The hair care and body wash were great to have. Great location & loved the pools & Pickleball courts!! A great stay!

This was our second stay at Kaanapali Shores. The entire complex is clean and beautiful and great for families. This unit was in excellent condition and having the ground level access was awesome. I would highly recommend a stay here and we will likely be back for a third stay sometime next year.

My friends and I can't say enough good things about this rental. This unit is oceanfront as shown on the listing where the view is breathtaking and you can hear the relaxing waves throughout your stay. The beach is steps away. Amenities are complete, property is conveniently located and close to a grocery store, food trucks and restaurants. The communication with the my perfect stay team is excellent. The only recommendation we would make is to have luggage carts available for vacationers as it is more challenging to haul your groceries from the parking lot to your room.

The unit itself is clean, spacious, and is as depicted in the listing. The lanai overlooks the ocean, and the ocean can also be seen (and heard 😊) from both bedrooms. The mattresses, bedding, and towels were of good quality. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals.
The resort's pools and landscaping are well maintained, and the towel service easy to use. Having a bar and restaurant near the pools is convenient.
Papi Ohana's is a delicious and renowned bakery just a short walk from the resort where cinnamon rolls and scones can be picked up for breakfast or pizza ordered for later in the day. You can pick up items at an ABC store close to the bakery, and across the street is a grocery store, several restaurants, and a new bar.
Others have made comments about parking and the long walk to get to the unit. The best parking is to drive through the garage to the other side, park near the building, and walk in through the delivery entrance (which was always open). This way takes you straight to the elevators, and the unit is a just short walk down the hallway.
A beautiful property, peaceful setting, with plenty of nearby services.

We stayed in room 706. Although it was a little dated it had most things we needed. The view from this room was spectacular! The bed was comfortable. We could hear the ocean at night. We made a few dinners in the condo. Having a few more kitchen tools would have made it more perfect but it wasn’t a huge issue. We had no construction noise as advertised and everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Will stay again in a minute!

Corner room with Garden/Pool/Ocean view and wraparound lanai was outstanding. Floor plan was comfortable and perfect for our party of 6 (4 Adults/2 Children).
Kaanapali Shores is an excellent value and had everything we needed for the week. Unit could use a cosmetic update on furniture, and desperately needs new screens, but other than that, if you are looking a clean/comfortable/convenient property…this is a winner.

Nicely maintained property with all the comforts of home! The location is hard to beat, steps from the beach and the lanai looks out directly to the ocean. Parking is also very close to the unit which was so handy for coming and going. The unit is nicely decorated and very cozy, plenty of space for our family of 5.

We enjoyed this property and the access to the beach. It felt like our own private beach. The unit was so convenient any it was great to have a kitchen.
My only recommendation would be to have a broom and dust pan in the unit to help clean up any left over sand.
Very much enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back!

My family have been to Maui many times now and always stay at the same place, with Costco travel. This time we decided to change it up and will never again. The room did not have a pull out couch like pictured, so my daughter had to sleep on the floor. The two large burners on the stove did not work. The internet to watch Netflix at night did not work. If I had known it would be that bad I would never had spent my hard earned money!! Never again.

We had previously stayed at this resort 5 years ago (at a different unit) so we knew the lay of the land and the area and wanted to return. The location is truly great because restaurants, food trucks and grocery store are within walking distance.
When we arrived at the condo, the door code did not work. This made us a little nervous at first because we had groceries with us that needed to be put into the refrigerator. We texted the property manager and within minutes he sent us a new code. So that was a relief! We entered and found things "OK". but there was a few things that were obvious that house keeping seriously missed. We decided to ask the property manager to have the quilt/coverlet on the bed changed out since there appeared to have been blood along with a few other stains on it. He replied again quickly and said he would have someone come take care of it immediately. We think he came personally to change it out because within a half of an hour he came knocking on the door with a new quilt. Very much appreciated! Again, there were a few other items that did need some attention but we chose to not even bother with those things because we truly just wanted to enjoy our stay and relax as we had traveled almost 24 hours to get there.
The pictures on the listing do not show the beautiful view from the balcony well enough. It was so nice and was probably our favorite spot.
Overall- a great stay and the property manager was very accommodating

Unfortunately, we found that the property did not match the description in the listing. Additionally, there was a strong mildew smell that made our stay uncomfortable. My wife and I stayed one night and left for the remainder of our week vacation and booked with Marriott down the street.
We also experienced difficulty in communication with you (host), as our concerns were not met with a lack of responsiveness and a condescending tone, which added to our frustration.
I believe it’s important to share this feedback, as it may help improve the experience for future guests. I would book elsewhere and avoid this Wal-Mart feeling condo with mildew.
The owner was unwilling to provide any type of refund as well.

The unit was clean and comfortable. As advertised, it was a short walk to the sand and water and closer still to the pools and on-grounds restaurant. It easy walking distance to a grocery store, local restaurants and food trucks, and a short drive to popular restaurants and an outdoor mall with upscale shopping and other areas of interest. We enjoyed our stay and quickly felt relaxed and happy we chose this rental.

This unit has so much potential but needs some love! It’s vintage 1980s and furnishings are portrayed accurately on line, but basic maintenance has been neglected.

The location of the unit is perfect steps away from the sand and very close to the pool. Waking up to the ocean view was beautiful! When we arrived we were surprised to find a huge spider web from the entrance of the master bedroom to the fan. It's was minimum 3 ft by 3ft with a large spider with eggs. I contact management which he advised he would send someone to clear. But my husband was able to do it himself. Aside from that inconvenience which was out of management and the resorts control it was perfect!

One of the best condos we’ve stayed in in Hawaii with great hosts…to which we got to meet both during our 2 week stay! Nicely renovated, great appliances, dishes, pots, etc. supplied with toiletries, cleaners, dishwashing/dishwasher soaps, beach items including boogie boards, beach toys and chairs. Great location steps away from beach, pool/hot tub, showers to rinse off, and there’s a poolside restaurant with live music on weekends and a few hotel shops for souvenirs, food, drinks, surf board rentals, etc. Awesome location and would definitely stay here again!

Low key resort with nice pools, pool bar and restaurant, shops, gift shop and convenience mart with alcohol, limited groceries, snacks, candy, protein drinks, all at reasonable costs.
The room was at the farthest end of the resort. A map indicating it's location would be helpful. There was no pullout couch as pictured/featured. A new mattress is desperately needed. Also, a pizza cutter would be a plus.
Overall, the studio met our needs, was clean, with extras like wake boards and beach chairs. The freezer also has an automatic icemaker which was quite nice.
The Food Truck lot should also be featured along with local Time grocery store.

We are an active family and loved this unit which is on the ground floor. Being able to exit onto the patio and grass area, with instant access to the pool and beach was awesome. The unit was functional and we liked the layout. The Kaanapali shores is a great property, not luxury but well kept with easy parking, good facilities on site and across the road from a supermarket, food truck market and easy access to the west of the island.
