The grounds are geeat and right across from Kamaole Beach 3. The hosts were easily accesible when we needed some help getting into the condo. The kitchen was well stocked, and we appreciated and used the beach chairs, umbrella, and beach toys almost daily. One thing we wished was better was an upgrade to the TV which is not a smart TV and there was no access to the mentioned mo ie collection and althought the lanai is larger, the view is of the condos across rhe way. ac

Requires a massive deep clean; kitchen especially, bathrooms/showers as well. Frying pans need replacing. Lacking typical cooking appliances (slow cooker, roaster).Master mattress needs replacing; roll to the middle. Pillows are well used and could use updating.

We took a trip to Maui in late July-early Aug to attend a wedding and take a family vacation. Typically we would stay in a small unit on our previous trips to Maui, but this time, when thinking about the wants and needs of everyone involved, staying in a large condo community setting seemed like it would provide enough entertainment for all ages...and it did! The youngest loved the pool, the teen was able to rent a surfboard at the lowest price around for the whole week, the location is across from a beach with lifeguards, easy parking, quiet units and neighbors, clean grounds and elevators. Excellent communication with the host. All in all, GREAT visit! Would love to stay here again in the future.

This was a great place to stay in Maui with quick access to all amenities needed including groceries, beaches, and restaurants. We really loved the family friendly aspects of Kameole Sands in general and the condo was really easy to stay in. It was clean, there were lots of supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms and plenty of items for the beach. Will be back!

Hi, My family and I come to Maui every year for a vacation and this is the first year that we did not have proper internet in our unit. My husbands work requires him to always be on the computer and he barely had any signal in the unit, literally most times our phones said SOS and we had no connection, he had to go outside to the pool to get any signal. I know that the construction that is going on is not the units owners fault, but for a vacation that you pay thousands to stay in a nice place the outside of the building looks like a literal construction site. My son was walking to the pool and a huge piece of roofing material almost fell on him. He got so scared that he no longer wanted to go outside. Also, the pictures of the unit show a Keurig coffee machine, so we bought coffee pods before we arrived and to our surprise no Keurig machine just a drip machine. I truly never give negative reviews, but I feel the need to do this one because of the lack of internet(like none for 90 percent of our stay) and the overall construction going on.

Good condo that is well placed. We walked 3 blocks to Moose Magillicuddy’s every day and the beach was only 2 minutes from our front door.3rd floor unit allowed us to leave the lanai slider open at night so no AC needed. It was available we just didn’t need it.The condo is well set up with all necessary cooking items as well as a coffee grinder.We saw whales from our lanai!

My family had a wonderful time staying at Kamaole Sands! It fits the budget comfortably, has AC, nice washer/dryer, quiet respectful neighbors, and best of all, location location location. The walking proximity to the 3 public beaches little shopping plazas, groceries, restaurants & a little further: food trucks @ South Maui Gardens, the Wailea malls (shops at wailea)... etc. Was worth every . Especially if you have kids, the convenience is worth it. You'll also find that they provide beach towels, beach chairs, a boogie board, and cooler bags!Some notes: maybe we just run hot, but we had to run the AC quite a lot more than we wanted. It was not easy to cool with just the windows open. Kitchen was well stocked with all items you can think of (Tupperware, blender, pots, cutting boards, cups, plates, etc.), but spices were a little lacking.The AC unit is also on the balcony, which makes the balcony hot and noisy when AC is on. And the master bathroom's toilet did smell a little funny at times but not so much that would have been a downer for our stay. Other than that, you should find the place exactly as pictured!

This was an amazing unit with a spectacular view for the deck, it had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation! Kitchen was well stocked, beach supplies made a day at the beach easy (wagon, umbrella, chairs) beds were comfy and the place was very clean. Definitely recommend and look forward to another stay!! We absolutely loved our stay at this condo. It’s beautifully updated and the new AC is an added bonus. The location is perfect being across from the beach and within walking distance to a number of restaurants and shops. Cara was quick to respond and assisted with additional baby equipment rentals. We have stayed at these condos before. This unit was by far superior to the previous unit. Communication and check in was seamless. The unit was very clean and well stocked. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The only thing I would mention is that there was no broom and dust pan so we had to use the vacuum every time. As well there is instructions to squeegee shower after every use but no squeegee. We had a fantastic experience. We will be back.

We stayed here with my husband, 6 year old daughter and my parents. The space was perfect for all of us to feel comfortable. The location is perfect to explore the whole island and Kam III is right across the street and beautiful. The property is gorgeous and the condo is very well equipped. Easy to cook each day and the washer dryer is fast and convenient. Jenny was very responsive and the directions were easy to follow. Would recommend staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Dirty floors even though they want you to take off your shoes to walk around the unit. The owner did request the cleaning person to rewash the floors but it STILL wasn’t clean. No spices, Saran Wrap, ziplock bags, etc. The next week we stayed in a condo that was loaded with extras so you don’t have to buy EVERYTHING. There is a glass cover on the coffee table and it’s not attached and is much larger than the table top. My husband leaned on it tipped off and smashed. Could be very dangerous! Glass everywhere.

Good location, nice pool setup. Very old original air conditioners. Living room unit had to be on non-stop or it got too hot. Bedroom portable got room cold but was too noisy to have on when sleeping. Otherwise adequate but unit far less updated than two others family were in.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location is perfect! Short walk to the beach (literally across the street), restaurants within walking distance also. We appreciated the AC units in each room! The kitchen was fully stocked for at home cooking. The unit also has 4 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas and a cooler for the beach! Spent an amazing month in this lovely condo directly across from Kamaole Beach 3. Communication with host/management team was great with questions responded to quickly. Condo was very clean & spacious with a large lanai. Although it faces the road we ate dinner out there most nights & had views of the ocean. No boogie boards but beach chairs, umbrella & coolers were provided. You cannot beat the location as it’s right across from Kam 3. We like Kam 2 which took less than 5 more minutes to walk to. Many people gather at Kam 3 for the gorgeous sunsets. Easy walking distance to restaurants & shops. Short drive to Wailea for the mall or some beautiful quieter beaches. Only negative would be the roofing construction going on the whole time we were there but fortunately our building had already been completed. Kihei is our favourite place to stay and we would definitely stay at this condo again.

This is our third time staying at Kamaole sands. The location to the beach is amazing, the property is beautifully landscaped and kept. The pool and hot tubs are also very nicely looked after. The unit we stayed in was ideal for my husband, myself and our adult daughter.

This was a good, ground floor unit near the pool. Living room furniture was pleasant. Kitchen reasonably stocked for cooking. Showers nicely remodeled. Some funky details, but most troubling was the bedroom AC unit, which didn’t cool well and was noisy (compressor worn out?). Not the fault of the owner/unit, but it was also annoying how much construction affected the beauty, noise and convenience (limited parking near the unit during our stay).
