A little piece of paradise to us!This is about the 4th time we spent a vacation in Kihei and have repeatedly stayed at Kamaole Sands. Spectacular views and ideal proximity to the ocean and the Kihei boat ramp ( for divers) as well as a truly very well maintained property with fountains and a nice pool/ jacuzzi area make this a stand out location.White egrets on the lawns and tropical flora and fauna everywhere.BBQ grills for use on property and there are recycling containers👍.Our condo was absolutely lovely, super clean, had everything one could ever need incl. sewing implements, water and beach toys incl. a boogie board as well as designated beach towels - Thank You!!Mattress and sleeper couch very comfortable and of nice quality.Kitchen well equipped, from coffeemaker, toaster oven, microwave ( perhaps a bit of an age, buttons are hard to activate) etc. and all the pots and pans, colanders, dishes, glass ware and utensils, corkscrew, ladle — anything one could ever need.Keyless entry was also appreciated.We hope to return to this condo in the future— It was perfect for us.THANK YOU 😊

The owners were extremely responsive and accommodating beyond expectations. Condo was even more spacious then it looked in the pictures. Property was very clean and in exceptional conditions. Plenty of storage for personal items. Checking in was easy and parking was easy. Great central location. Very comfortable big bed we felt very comfortable and at home in the unit. Would 100% recommend and stay here again if returning to Maui.

We loved our stay at Kamole Sands in Kihei! The location can’t be beat for a day at the beach (right across the street), a walk to shopping and restaurants, or an evening on the lanai watching the sunset. The owner was very responsive to our needs and the unit is very clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a good place for a family though the lanai was a little small to accommodate all of us(6). Overall we were happy with the unit and space and happy to find a rare 3 bedroom in a great location. We had concerns about very strong cleaning product/deodorizer which affected the first 48 hours of our stay. The manager responded and did offer some mitigation though we felt like the understanding of the impact of the situation could have been better. If you are sensitive to smells and products I would advise letting them know in advance to have the cleaners avoid these products.

My husband and I had a fabulous time at this condo! The unit was clean and well appointed and the property grounds are lovely! The location is wonderful with a great beach across the street and the chairs and umbrellas in the storage room were very handy. We appreciated the washer and dryer and full kitchen which were very useful. Additionally the host was extremely accommodating with some of our travel changes which was such a relief and much appreciated. We would strongly recommend this spot and plan to visit again!

This is the second time we stayed in this unit and this location. Beautifully landscaped and right across from the beach.The condo includes all the amenities needed - stocked kitchen and clean place. A little on the older side compared to the other condos that are starting to be updated with newer air conditioning units and modern cabinets, but great space to enjoy your stay.

We were disappointed in the overall cleanliness(dirty furniture, bugs in the kitchen) as well as the lack of basic items such as beach towels (only 4 beach towels provided), large beach bags (I purchased my own), and a big enough cooler for a family to pack for the beach. There were also very limited beach amenities. Only chairs and umbrellas. No boogie boards or beach toys for kids.

The condo is stocked with everything you’d need, including beach gear like chairs and umbrella. Check in and check out were easy, and communication with Jennifer was also super easy! The landscaping of the condo, grounds and pool area was very well kept, clean and beautiful to look at. The pool, which is part of the condos main view, is very well attended too, lounge chairs, umbrellas and the pool itself (water) was cleaned daily. (It can be loud in the evenings if you have the patio door open, but quiet hours starting at 10pm were enforced). As for the location, it’s a short easy walk to Kam 3 beach, perfect for kids and lounging, life guard and park with large grass area. 3 nice backpack chairs and coolers are provided by the host. Other beaches Kam 1 & 2 are both nice, but a litte longer walk. Also 3 restaurants are within 10 min walk. The unit itself was clean, if you look real close you’ll find some dusty drawers, probably just unused. Cooking utensils, pots and pans etc. is not extensive but we cook with mainly a skillet so it was fine. The main knock for us, is if you sleep with windows open and fans on it can be very loud because people arrive pretty late into the evening. With the windows closed the front room AC doesn’t quite do the job, wished there was a bedroom ac unit. The host were very responsive, we had two small issues that got taken care of right away.

We stayed here for 6 nights to celebrate my wife's birthday and enjoy a Maui vacation. The property is clean and well maintained, with lots of thoughtful touches to make a beach stay relaxing and enjoyable. We walked to the beach daily (less than 5 mins) and had easy acess to downtown Kihei and Wailea. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in South Maui!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The condo is clean and bright with modern furnishings. There is nothing we felt like we were missing from home! The sand toys, lifejacket, chairs, cooler and beach umbrella all got put to good use and the wagon was suuuuuch a genius idea to include in the outdoor storage space of the condo! We appreciated all of these things that made our stay so easy and comfortable.
The central location of the condo made swimming in the ocean every morning so easy! The snorkeling to the right hand side of Kamaole III is just amazing. There are many great restaurants and shops within walking distance. The pool was warm and lots of fun for my kids.
We would love to stay here again in the future!! Thank you!

Our family of 5 (4 adults & a 14 yr.old) had an enjoyable time at John and Maysie's condo. The condo was clean, and they were very easy to communicate with. Maysie even made us very tasty muffins! This condo has everything you will need. Plenty of towels and a fully stocked kitchen. Lots of things for the pool and beach.
This condo is in a perfect spot with beach access right across the street & town just a close walk.
Would definitely stay here again.

Overall a really good experience. We loved Kamoale Sands (the beach, the pool, the grounds, and the nearby shopping and restaurants) but the unit was just okay. The sofa bed was unfit to sleep on. Some of the promised supplies were not available or hard to find. The roof was being replaced and I was told this building would not be worked on during this time. The unit next door was being remodeled so it was noisy during the day.

Only issue we had was the icemaker and water dispenser wasn’t working but we just purchased ice. It kept saying change water filter but we couldn’t find one.

Property was very clean and well furnished and cozy. All of the locals said that the location was the best for getting the most experience out of Maui while not paying resort prices in Wailea. Was able to see the a lot of the island and also enjoyed the resort at the Kamaole Sands. Check in was easy and one time resort fee of $40 was very reasonable as it included parking for the duration of the stay.

The property was fine, it had all the basic amenities you would need. There were a few things that could use some attention: the shower head in the master bedroom leaked from the base, the a/c unit in the bedroom was a floor unit and was too loud and our child couldn't sleep, the a/c unit in the living room wasn't working well, couldn't keep up with the heat, and was growing mildew in the interior which gave off a musty oder, and most of the cookware was cheap non-stock coated cookware and that flaking off. A no-frills condo in a great location. Additionally, we booked a ground floor unit with a king bed and shortly before the arrival date we were asked to move to a second floor unit with a queen due to construction. We agreed as we did not want to be stranded on vacation, but there was no offer for rate reduction. We were traveling with a child and had to absorb the cost of renting additional equipment for them to be able to sleep in the same room as us.

We have mixed feelings about this unit and the property owner.
The good:
- Location is great.
- The complex amenities (pool, tennis, grills, gym, ping pong) are awesome.
- The unit has all the beach equipment you could need.
- Prior to arrival, the communication from the property owner was very good.
- The unit has a great view of the pool, grounds, and ocean.
The not so good:
- Bedding and towels were stained and dirty.
- The kitchen and lower level bathroom was infested with cockroaches.
- The furniture is old and very uncomfortable.
- The kitchen utensils, plates, glassware, and cookware were stained from overuse.
- The communication and response to concerns by the property owner was ignored after arrival.
For the amount of money we spent, our expectations were not met. Very disappointing.

They were replacing roofs in that complex. They had tore off all the roofs so tropical storm came through because there was plastic paper on part of the roof it leaked in The middle of the night all over bed had to be moved to new condo. Property management responded immediately and moved us.

So many positives , but I’ll start by suing even before we left Canada Lindy & Bob were wonderful to communicate with and checked in on us after our arrival to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Their condo was perfect for our teens with the two Murphy beds in the living room and an extremely comfortable king bed for us in the bedroom - Beautiful large lanai ❤️ And all the beach essentials we needed
