Only downside was no AC. Even with fans going it was 83 degrees in the bedroom so sleeping was uncomfortable.

Location is just WoW. Waking up in the morning looking out past the huge lawn area and seeing the ocean and mountain on the other side with all the palm trees in between…. Just WoW.
The host Elizabeth was super awesome and so accommodating. What started as a 7 night stay here turned into 15 nights And we enjoyed every minutes of everyday. We were a family of 5 with 3 young ones ages 3, 7 and 10 and there was plenty of room. The place was immaculate and clean, very well organized and stocked!
We are big on cooking our own food and there was everything needed, every utensil. Even a scale and baking supplies! Vitamix blender for hummus and smoothies. We ended up making pizza dough, cakes and many treats for the kids.
Felt like we were at home!
Truly a spectacular place and unforgettable stay. Thank you for taking care of us!

My husband and I spent 10 great days here. The grounds are immaculate. There were always lounge chairs available. You could rent free beach chairs, bocci ball set, putters for putting green from the office. Our room was super quiet, bed was comfortable, air-conditioning worked great and it was hot while we were there. It's located in a nice area, lots of shopping nearby. We would stay here again.

The AC was not working when we arrived. Repair people came 2 days later but did not fix it. When I complained, I was told that the AC was not installed until after I booked so I could not get a refund. But I did not find in the listing where it stated that there was no AC. I went back to look at the reviews and saw that the AC was installed in April and I did not book until June. Do not book this unit in the summer until you get confirmation that the AC units are working!

We had an amazing stay at Kihei Surfside! Everything exceeded our expectations, from the breathtaking ocean views from the lanai to the well-maintained resort amenities. The pool area was a favorite spot of ours, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We loved being able to take morning walks along the beachfront path that runs right by the property. The location is unbeatable with multiple stunning beaches in walking distance. The host was extremely responsive and considerate. We’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Maui!

We would not have stayed here had I known there was no A/C. It was miserable trying to sleep at night when it doesn't cool down. This unit has a great location, but needs a mini split system, or at least a portable ac unit for the bedroom. We had to leave the front door open most days we were home to get some air circulation.

Kihei Surfside is in the perfect location, close to a lot of beaches, places to eat and shop in Kihei. The Wailea resort area is only a few minutes drive away. The property is oceanfront, all condos have an ocean view. And it is less than a 5 minute walk down a pathway to Keawakapu beach, a long stretch of beautiful beach. It's a big beach so it never felt crowded.
This unit is perfectly situated for sunset views from the lanai. I would definitely recommend staying on the higher floors (4th & above and on the side closest to the ocean (lower unit numbers -05 or lower) for the best views. This unit was clean and comfortable, a great home away from home. There was even a welcome tray with some snacks and beverages which was a nice touch! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

We really enjoyed our time this unit. We have rented other units at Surfside before so we are very familiar with the location. It’s right on a beautiful reef and next to a fantastic beach. This unit is nicely updated. The kitchen is very well outfitted too. We would definitely stay here again, and we highly recommend it!

Kihei surfside was just our speed. The lawn and pool was great. Turtles in the water everywhere around the property. Keawakapu Beach was also great. We will stay here again if we ever come back to Maui.

My husband and I stayed here for 8 days during our trip to Maui and had a great experience. The condo has basically everything you could want/need. Only possible downside is that there is no AC which wasn’t an issue for us at all thanks to the breeze with the windows open. Easy access to the beach. The prettiest views! My family and I loved the place. Nothing like sipping your morning coffee while looking out to the view of the ocean and mountains. Dining outdoors by the pool while watching the sunset was the best part! Highly recommended!

Great location and views of sunset can't be beat (viewable from beach as well as from this units balcony)! The community grass area downstairs was perfect for bbq and watching the sunset. Big enough for those enjoying the view and also allowing for little ones to play and run around. Washer/dryer in unit a plus! Furniture in great condition like photos show, not worn or old like some rentals. Only thing we had a hard time with was the stove. The dials to turn on the stove was rubbed off so we had to guess which way was low vs. high. Not a big deal, just be mindful when using the stove. Small issues we ran into were addressed right away by onsite manager. Good communication and responsive to our needs. The owner himself is very responsive to questions we had before and during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a perfect location to start and finish our daily adventures during our stay. My kids could have spent the whole trip in the pool, it was so beautiful. Sunsets are incredible! Snorkeling at the beach right next to the complex was the best we saw all trip. We saw a turtle!

Amazing stay at with the most incredible views! The property is situated right on the ocean with large, spacious grounds. A long stretch of sandy beach with plenty of space and warm ocean water where you can swim with the turtles is steps away. There are lots of places nearby to eat or have a drink and Costco and Walmart are 25 minutes away if you're cooking. The only issue we had was that the air conditioning was not working during our stay. They attempted to fix it but it was not resolved before we left. Will definitely be going back.

It is easy to recommend this property. The unit was great, with nice decor, a well stocked kitchen, nice appliances, a GORGEOUS view from the main room/kitchen and lanai. There was air conditioning, and while it was very hot in July we never felt a need to use it. The wind off the ocean kept the unit cool and had us sleeping peacefully at night. We would rent this unit and from Rosie's Rentals again (I rented through VRBO this time but would go directly through the owner next time). The building, Kihei Surfside is great. Quiet, friendly, right on the ocean, free checkout from office of beach chairs and umbrellas (keep them for a week!), plus lawn games, etc. The pool is nice and sheltered from wind in the afternoon. Parking is easy. There is a nice lawn and the fabulous beach is steps away. This is on the south "quiet" side of Kihei, so you feel like you're a world away but can be at restaurants or Starbucks only a mile away. We enjoyed walking down the beach and to the walkway in Wailea. There is crazy great snorkeling along the lava rocks and coral right in front of the building...we saw tons of fish, moray eels, eagle rays, 7-11 crabs, and even a sizeable (and timid) reef shark one morning. There is the 808 Market in the building next door when you can grab a lot of things quickly (including sandwiches and drinks/coffee) and also a rental place for SUP and kayaks. Great unit, great unit, great owner!

This place not only has a stunning view in a great location but the condo is the is the most well stocked place I’ve ever rented. Plus everything is very nice. Nice towels, dishes, appliances etc. really everything you could need is here. The host was great with communication and instructions.
