The views from the porch alone are so beautiful. The place was extremely clean and the hosts were super responsive and proactive. Close to a coffee shop and little beach that was great for our 2 year old.

The ocean view from inside or out was exactly what I wanted. Sunsets and rainbows! Fall asleep to the sound of ocean waves. Take a short walk for food options or coffee. Short drive to shopping. Management quick in responding to questions.

The built in A/C made it very convenient on hot days. The balcony is large and offers a gorgeous view. The property management was very friendly and professional.

I have stayed in Unit 309 at the Kulakane many times. It’s a great location, near stuff, but not too near stuff. It’s a very well maintained complex. Beautiful landscaping and a nice little pool for cooling off. I love that it is ocean side, many are not. The condo itself has some new lanai furniture and it is nice and comfy. The kitchen has everything you need and then some. my only issue with complex is the noise if you are sleeping in the smaller bedroom. The condo is right on the street and folks like to race on it in the overnight hours. Very loud! Screens also need replaced in this unit. It is also time to replace the mattresses. Overall, it’s a great place and I WILL be back!!!

We had an amazing 6 night stay at this property and would absolutely come back! A few minute drive from multiple beaches, coffee, food, everything you need. The place was clean and had everything we needed including chairs, umbrella, ice chests, etc for the beach. I will say the living area is a bit smaller than we hoped as we had five adults and it was difficult to sit on the couch BUT being able to open up the sliding door outside and sit out there without feeling disconnected 100% made up for it. You cannot beat the views here, sitting out there in the mornings and evenings was our favorite part of the trip. Hosts were incredible, responded to our messages right away and were thorough with check in/check out process. Would love to come back soon!

We could see sea turtles from our balcony! Waki g up to that beautiful view and sound of the ocean was amazing. The air conditioning worked well, i was a little nervous at girst that it wasnt going to get cool enough because i usually keep my house at 64 at night and you can only turn it down to 72. But with the fans on it was very comfortable. I never felt too hot. The beds were all very comfortable. I slept on the couch pullout and it was wonderful!

My family and I stayed here in October. This condo was everything we wanted and needed. The view was absolutely beautiful every day and the beach was just steps from our lanai. The grounds were beautiful and so well kept. The staff was amazing, they were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. I loved the location of this property and it was just what our family was looking for in a vacation. We were close to beaches for snorkeling and close to town for food and shopping. The condo was peaceful and very relaxing and a nice retreat. This condo had every amenity we needed and I really enjoyed all the special touches of turtle decor. Our family felt right at home and can’t wait to come back to visit! We were so thankful for our time spent here.

Everything was great except it was very noisy and cigarette smoke coming in through the open window in the morning. Had stayed here before but didn’t have any of that. The one bedroom is really too small for anything over 2 people even though it sleeps 4. The location is nice and having ocean view for all condos is perfect.

We had an amazing time staying at Kulakane, woke up to sea turtles right outside every morning and watched from the lanai. The sunsets from there were stunning as well. The property management was super friendly and helpful and any minor issues that did come up during our stay were handled quickly. We would love to stay here again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful unit with its spaciousness, updated kitchen and bathrooms, gorgeous views of Molokai and stylish Hawaiian decor throughout. Unfortunately our stay there was cut short when an air conditioning unit malfunctioned and we were forced to move to a different condo. At that point it became evident that there had been an ongoing problem with the AC unit leaking into a lower unit.
Although we would rent this particular unit again in a heartbeat, we would not do so through the off-site management company that is currently managing it.

Really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It’s very clean, well decorated, comfortable furniture (especially beds), air conditioning worked perfectly and large fans situated in each bedroom. Our condo is safe, clean, and so close to the beach. Literally and actually only 96! steps (we counted)! We watched the honus 🐢 each sunset and snorkeled with them too! While the building and unit are dated, it was clean and functional. I was afraid that the lack of AC was going to be problematic but it wasn’t! There’s enough of a breeze with the screen door and windows open and they have fans and ceiling fans. Also, I think because it’s the drier side of the island, there weren’t any mosquitos there! It was heavenly. The biggest thing was the roaches. THERE WERE NONE! and this is hard to do on a tropical island. So kudos to them for keeping up with the pest control. Finally, V. of the front office was the BEST!!! she is the spirit of Aloha. She is a saint and really went out of her way to help is when our rental car keys didn’t work and the agency didn’t want to help. lahaina is recovering and they are strong so go visit, stay at the kulakane and be respectful and patient. Island life is slower so enjoy it!

Great view! We didn’t get check in code so had to contact management when we arrived at the property at night. Fun, busy pool for kids. We snorkled right off the beach, and watched turtles swim by all day long. Condo was generally clean. Ceiling fans in bedroom and living room kept us cool enough during our stay in July.

The location on the ocean was nice. It is on a busy road and was quite loud in the morning. The property was very clean the furniture could use some updating. The cushions on the chairs on the balcony need to be replaced as they are very worn and felt like there was nothing on the chairs. The kitchen was nice with a dishwasher, could use more utensils and a bigger fry pan but we made it work. Should be advertised that the washer and dryer is a coin operated but is very close. We would rent again overall a really nice property with an amazing view. Thanks for a great vacation.

We were thrilled with the location of the property as it was close to all the events we attended for a friends wedding. But the condo itself is a bit shabby and could use some much needed updates and maintenence. For example: the front of the kitchen sink cabinets is clearly damaged. The blades on the ceiling fan in the master bedroom are discolored and splitting. Broken tiles in the master bathroom. And the ceiling fans throughout the property are LOUD, making it hard to sleep. Master bedroom needs a new matress desperately.

Our family of 4 stayed in unit 204 for 9 nights in July 2024. We loved the location and the view! The condo had all the amenities we needed, including cooler, beach chairs, beach towels. Only improvements we'd recommend are: replacing the sofabed as it is old and squeaky, update items/areas ie. bathroom door doesn't close well, burnt out lightbulbs, the 4 beach umbrellas are all cheap and old, black out curtains/blinds in bedroom would be nice, plug-in fans were too dusty to use, condo was clean but not deep cleaned ie. edges of counters were sticky, bathroom walls had floss chunkies, etc. Note there is no AC in the unit but the breeze was good enough. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return! Mahalo to Debbie for timely responses to all my queries.

We have been visiting KulaKane since 1987. Have stayed in 13 different units. Some more than once. We owned a unit for 11 years, but decided it’s more fun to rent. We have also stayed in other condos in Kaanapali, Wailea and Kihei. We always want to return to the best ocean view condo.

Walk-up to 3rd story. Apartment-wide glass windows onto lanai and ocean. Modern, classy, clean, spare decor that inspires you to breathe deeply. Excellent air conditioning throughout and in bedrooms. Appliances all clean and functional. No real beach right in front, but access to the water for swimming and snorkling, and beaches are within 5 minutes. No staples - like coffee, tea, sugar.

We have been coming to Kulakane for over 20 years. This unit had everything we needed. It’s always so perfect having coffee on the lanai (cocktails) in the evening and watching the turtles. We named 1 “Steve” a few tears ago, he only has 1 flipper but didn’t see him this trip. We’ll be back looking for him next year
