We enjoyed our stay in the Lokelani Condos and would choose to stay here again in the future, The condo is comfortable and very clean. We appreciated the air conditioning during our stay. The ocean views from the main floor and master balconies are stunning. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed. From the outside, the complex is a bit dated and the pool could use some work. There is a small outdoor grill next to the parking lot and stairs to the second floor. You have to walk a ways to get down to a small beach that is semi-private. There is a grocery store and shops close by.

We have never stayed at a vacation home where we would actually choose to forgo a nice restaurant for dinner in order to pick something up so we could hurry back before sunset and eat on the pristine lanai after a day of exploring. Everything we needed and more was provided at Sunset Central. We have fallen in love and hope to return very soon.

The location couldn't be any better! Condo is close to shops, best beaches, and restaurants. You really cant get any closer to the sea. The little beach along with the neighboring larger beach are really all you need. You can snorkle and swim (best when tide is low). Turtles were seen every day. Sitting at the lanai table or lawn chair watching the sun set was magical. The pool was a perfect place to swim and cool down. The condo is well stocked. It coupd definitely use some updating. We did go buy a new set of bed sheets. The ones on the bed when we arrived were so pilled they felt like sandpaper. Some minor refreshing would make this rental a 10 star!!

This was the last condo we stayed at during our trip and it was by far our favorite! It was so well stocked with everything you could need, from all types of kitchen appliances and BBQ tools (we bbq’d one night right outside our lanai), to a bathroom with not only toiletries but hair dryer, curling iron, regular hair iron, a first aid kit. We noticed the shower pooled a bit on the first day and so we called to let them know and within 5 minutes someone was there snaking the drain. The condo also had coolers, beach chairs, and a bucket with beach toys. The mattress in the bedroom and in the sofa bed were so incredibly comfortable that they both felt brand new. The ac in the bedroom cooled well. The view was spectacular! The sunsets were beautiful! We were able to snorkel and saw more fish there than in any of the other snorkeling spots we went to in 3 different islands. The box of chocolates was a nice welcome touch. It was by far our favorite and can’t wait to go back!

Pros: Location was great! View was amazing. We saw turtles daily. Air conditioning was wonderful and much needed during our stay.
Cons: The condo is very dirty. I didn’t notice until day three that the sheets had some sort of black/brown stains on them. They should have been replaced prior to us arriving. The shower head had mold covering it. The sinks appeared to be moldy as well. I will agree with other reviews and say this location is very outdated. We don’t need much because we usually are at the beach or finding something to do. However, a few upgrades in here would make a HUGE difference. If I were coming back to Maui, I would not choose this condo specific again.

Lokelani - B205 was the perfect accommodation! We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted with local goodies upon arrival. Our family stayed 6 nights and were very pleased with the comfy beds for a full night’s rest, the fully stocked kitchen to cook amazing meals, and the gorgeous ocean view. The location was great. We enjoyed walking for coffee, cinnamon rolls, and local food trucks. There were beautiful beaches within a 10-minute drive. Also, check out the Whaler’s Shopping Village when you stay. There were plenty of supplies for the length of time we stayed. My only suggestion is to bring additional personal hygiene items such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion if staying more than 3 days. We will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed here for our 25th anniversary. Condo was perfect. It was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities that made it feel like home. Air conditioning in the bedroom was a plus! The views from the patio were breathtaking. Hosts were easy to communicate with and even checked to make sure everything was perfect! Couldn’t be more happy with this experience!

This condo exceeded our expectations! This was our first trip to Maui and it was perfect. We cannot wait to return! The location is great. The view can’t be beat. You feel like you’re floating on top of the water. The condo is beautiful and spacious. It is great to be able to walk to many places like the farmers market each morning for coffee and breakfast.
Swimming with the sea turtles was amazing!

For a couple or family of 3 this place is really nice with a beautiful view! The unit was Very clean and in a good location. The only thing I would like to see is some carpet runners, which would help with tracking around sand. If you go to the beach, there is no way to get all the sand off you and with pure tile floors there are no places to wipe your feet beside the entry mat. Besides that, we really liked the place

The condo we rented was great, exactly like the photos. The rooms were spotless, the box of toiletries and kitchen cleaners was such a bonus, great supply of everything we needed for a week. The condo itself was very roomy although we really spent most of our time on the balcony overlooking the ocean and the steady stream of green turtles swimming by. The little beach at the end of the property was great, especially when a green turtle came ashore. The pool was at the end of the parking lot, so no view, but it was clean and great for a relaxing dip after a busy day. Bathrooms were roomy and clean. Beds were very comfortable although the twin beds seemed very small for adults. I would definitely return.

Aloha - our family had a great stay on Maui and enjoyed the condo. It was very comfortable using the A/C or letting the trade winds blow in off the water. Literally 20 feet from the ocean, the views are amazing and would expect epic times during the winter (whale migration).
I rated 5 stars across the board even though it's not perfect. When considering the cost/value, it's definitely a 5 star place. You'll need to drive to the beach and you won't be spending time at the pool, but the place is very nicely updated with all you would need from an accommodations perspective. Our family of 4 had plenty of space and loved congregating on the deck in the evenings.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the location. Easy access, easy parking, listen to the waves all day long, beautiful views and very comfortable inside. I would definitely consider a return, particularly in the winter.

Great quiet location off the road just north of the busyness of Kaanapali. Within 30 feet of the ocean and at night we would leave the lanai doors open and be lulled to sleep by the sound of the crashing waves. Amazing sunset views directly from the lanai looking towards Molokai and Lanai. Peter and Michelle were awesome!

We loved sitting out on the deck of the condo watching the water and the sea turtles. It was a great place to unwind at the end of a day of site seeing. The condo is close to a lot of amenities, some within walking distance. We loved Miss Arepa, which was less a half mile away. We also enjoyed the Kapalua Trail which was about a 10 minute drive north of the condo. We didn't do a ton of cooking, but the things we used in the kitchen were good quality and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this condo and would happily stay there again. As an end unit, it was quiet and a great viewing point to the beach.

The large sliding glass doors really opened up the living space. The bed was really comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and the property was very quiet. Sitting outside watching the sunsets and the pod of spinner dolphins cruising by, listening to the waves, snorkeling from the beach, and watching the turtles haul out for their naps were highlights of the visit for me. Pros: million dollar view, good space for a family of 4. We didn’t test the pull out sofa, if it’s a must for you - I wouldn’t trust it (see cons), nice pool, dedicated parking, partnership with excursions, generous “starter” supplies, chairs & umbrella (look in closet off kitchen), beds were comfortable enough, washer/dryer, double sliders, mini splits for AC.
Cons: so ridiculously outdated the furniture smelled like stinky kids tennis shoes, not comfy to relax at all, out dated kitchen, dining and baths that were clean but looked old, we didn’t feel at-home, patio furniture needs updating, straps on one chair were broke and side table is broke. The owners do NOT care to get referrals/repeat business. It’s so gross, I didn’t want to sit on the furnature.
By comparison we are repeat customers (5 times) at a condo in Florida that requires their owners keep somewhat updated furnishings. This place - I’m guessing is decorated from the 90s. It screams Bamboo Company - not in a Hawaiian vibe way. I get the expense but at some point as a host you show your motive & this owner only cares about bookings.
The small beach is the neighbor condo it wasn’t a big deal to walk next door, but a call out. You also need to bring your own furniture with you to the beach OR lawn - the basement condo’s own the Chase loungers & we’re not nice about my daughter & I asking to use- we were told to get our own (which were on the 3rd floor balcony) so we grabbed the beach chairs instead.

From the moment you walk into the unit you can see the blue waters and it sets the tone for the perfect Maui vacation. You will see turtles (lots of turtles) whales in the distance and lots of fish if you snorkel just steps from your door. Great sunsets every evening and we made sure to leave the sliders open every night to enjoy the sounds of the ocean. Great location, easy communication and perfect setting.
If you’re on the fence about where to stay - pick this place.

We had two condos next door to each other. They were both clean and well stocked with a starter supply. The view is spectacular! Bree, the property manager, was exceptional. She responds to your calls immediately. The maintenance man, Herb, was great. When we needed help after a power outage, he came over immediately and fixed the issue. The unit needs some repair on the shower doors and closet doors as one side of each won’t move. It would be nice to have a chair in the living room so you have something to sit on other than a hide a bed. That would be at the owners discretion and not the manger.

We saw whales and seat turtles every morning and evening from the balconies, a sting ray while snorkeling on the water off the beach and turtles walking up into the beach adjacent to the condo!!! This was a magical experience for us.

Excellent location relative to stores and beaches. Right on the water - just a lawn and wall separated us from the surf so we could enjoy the sights and sounds.
House had everything we needed to cook, and everything needed for a day at the beach (chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards, pool noodle, and beach towels).
Plenty of room to sit and relax on the balconies, or living room, and around the dining room table.
Beds were very comfortable.
A/C units all worked as expected.
Parking spot was close to the stairs.
Excellent communication with the management company when we had a question.
We’ve stayed in a lot of condos and homes and while this one wasn’t fancy, it was perfect for a week in Maui. We would happily return here.
