We stayed at the Mana Kai 25 years ago on our honeymoon and returned to celebrate our anniversary. Absolutely love the location and feel of this resort. The beach is great for swimming and snorkeling and the grounds are clean and beautiful.
The room was great, nice kitchen with everything we needed and very comfortable bed! We will be back!

The property was as advertised and communication with the owner was fast. What made this experience excellent was the amount of detail the property mgmt took to make it a safe and communal experience. Being at the end of a public beach with views down the length of the beach was breathtaking at sunset and sunrise - but security and maintenance were keeping it clean and orderly. No loud play after hours and really even during the day. The community came out to lounge and relax and watch the sunset. But the unexpected thing was the snorkeling outside as the hotel sits on the eastern of a reef. And going right out the beach to snorkel to the reef had lots of fish. Swimming with Several turtles. We cancelled a snorkel excursion as we had it right on property. Then the location was right in the middle of restaurants and shopping going eating miles in either direction. Would stay her again for sure.

Clean with all that you need. Battery out on Keymax when we be led in but was able to immediately get ahold of host and within minutes was handled. Great communicator. The unit is small. This property was perfect! This visit was my families first trip to Hawaii! We were so pleased with the location; we could choose to explore Kihei or Wailea with only a short drive! The space was large and the views incredible. Also, the grassy lawn before the beach reduced the sand on the beach towels and stayed cool.

If all we did was sit on the lanai, we still would have had an amazing experience! But even better, the beach and reef access at the Mana Kai Maui can't be beat. We loved it here. Favorites: morning beach walks all the way to Wailea and beautiful evening sunsets from the lawn. Though the facilities are older, this unit is nicely updated and well equipped.

This location is perfect. The beach is steps away from the condo. It is really close to restaurants and all the activities you need for family fun. Waking up to the sounds of the crashing waves is the best! Do not hesitate if you are looking for a great place to stay. We will be back! 10/10

This was our first trip to Maui and I feel so blessed to have found this beautiful condo with stunning views for my family! We had an amazing time at this property. The host Lori was super accommodating and communicative. The condo was stocked with all the supplies you could need and any beach supplies that you needed could be rented on the bottom floor or one of the many locations near the condo. The beach is literally 25 steps from the lobby and while it’s not secluded, it was far less crowded than other beaches. One almost would never need to leave the home if you didn’t want to. We stayed at this condo for a week and had an amazing vacation! The condo has incredible views of the ocean, palm trees and beach. You can see the famous Maui sunset from inside the condo and on the lanai. The interior of the condo is beautiful and has several high-end finishes and cool Maui-themed decor. The beach is only steps away from the condo. The ocean reef right next to the building has some of the best snorkeling on the island. We also enjoyed spending time in the pool, which has a great view of the beach and ocean. The owners were exceptionally helpful with suggestions for us on what to do while in Maui. We loved our stay and plan on returning.

509 Mana Kai was an absolute dream come true. The location is exceptional and exactly what we were looking for: close to resorts but a homey feel. It was our first time on Maui and I pray it won’t be our last and I wouldn’t hesitate to rent the same place. I can’t say enough good things about this unit and the experience as a whole. This condo is absolute perfection! The location could not have been better. We had several activities planned and nothing was more than a 40 minute drive. The condo was very clean and as described. I was pleasantly surprised at how gracious the host was with stocking the condo with shampoos, trash bags and even laundry detergent. There were beach towels and even beach chairs with an umbrella. It was such a peaceful and tranquil spot. You will not regret staying here!

The restaurant/bar onsite is closed and likely not opening for the next two years due to permits-we were told. And unfortunately, we had an upsetting encounter with the woman who sits at the activities desk -TWICE. We wound up leaving our reservation one day early because who wants to be around bad vibes on vacation. The experience was really disappointing.

Wonderful location, high up and overlooking the beach and a view of Molokini Crater in the distance. The unit is very clean and updated decor, very nice for a family stay. Our teenagers had their own separate setup, bathroom, tv, etc. The lanai was ideal for eating breakfast and lunch, kitchen allowed us to prepare meals, with drinks, coffee. And the reps from CB were very responsive when we had questions, highly recommend Unit 705 overall. I can’t imagine a more perfect setting than this one, with the views, pool, beach and ocean.

we have stayed at the Mana Kai
several times over the past 10 years . In our other rental experiences ( all the same
floor plan) — there is one separate room with a
bathroom . The separate room has always had a water view — this one has a bit of a view and a
wall — not what we expected . we have always had some sort of wall divider / screen that separated the king bed from the living room/kitchen for privacy . Our grown children & their partners use the king bed and the
pull out couch with no privacy . This was really frustrating. the manager was SUPER understanding and
helpful . He
tried to find
up
a
portable screen to separate the bed and make it a TWo bedroom . this unit is a
one
bedroom ( private ) with a king bed and a
couch bed in the living
area / kitchen .
This is ok if
you need no privacy . we were disappointed. the view is beautiful. we were not told there would be construction . As a matter of fact , I called and they said there would be No construction that week . We had jjackhammers during the day 2
floors below our room and they were LOUD.
we will stay at the Mana Kai after
the new
restaurant is
complete and there is no construction and only rent a room with a
divider . Again , the manager was wonderful as was
the view .

The condo was exactly as described in listing. The view is just perfect and so relaxing, and it’s oceanfront! Our family eats breakfast at the lanai every morning as we look and admire the beautiful Keawakapu Beach. The condo has everything we needed, from beach chairs, beach umbrella, kitchen utensils, seasonings, etc. There were a few constructions and maintenance (pool) going on while we were there but Keiko and the property manager was very responsive to inquiries and concerns. We will definitely come back to this unit.

This condo is in the absolute perfect location for kids of all ages. Great waves for boogie boarding without having to worry about their safety, and fantastic snorkeling right in front of the condo. We drove to different beaches when we wanted some big waves. If you dive, we went to the marine preserve and saw tons of fish and also to the old pier in Lahina and kids got to see some sharks and swim with sea turtles. Condo could use a deep cleaning but we spent most time outside anyway. Owner was super quick to respond to questions.

This is the place to stay on Maui. The most beautiful beach extends from your doorstep. The apartment is cozy and comfortable, kitchen well stocked with everything we needed to cook - we made several yummy dinners - and it was easy to go into the town of Kihei for groceries, dinners out, shopping, etc. We enjoyed heading a little south past the resorts to Big Beach where it was less windy in the afternoons. Great snorkeling right out front. Everything was easy and comfortable. Highly recommend.

This was probably our best vacation ever. The location was everything. We were able to sit back and relax daily on the lanai and watch the ocean all day. We could hear the gentle waves all night. We were able to take the elevator down and walk right out to a beautiful beach and pool. We were able to swim easily at the beach and there was a reef right next to it for snorkeling. I never felt the need to go to any other beach. We saw many fish and sea turtles while snorkeling. I also rented a kayak from the property which was awesome. We were there on the 4th of July and had prime viewing of fireworks launched from a boat and many locals came out and did the smaller fireworks on the beach. It was super fun! The condo was clean and well-appointed with comfy beds. The three TVs were a bonus for my family.

Our stay at Mana Kai was perfect. Myself, my wife, our 2 children and my mother and father in law all stayed. I was a little worried that the consensus be to small for all of us but it was not. We never felt like we were in close quarters due to the separate suites. The view and location was beautiful and perfect. The amenities like to onsite grocery store, beach rental for boogie boards, grill and pool were perfect. Everything was well stocked and just as described. The pull out sleeper bed was pretty comfortable for a pull out couch. My wife and kids have never been to Maui and my wife was reluctant due to the 9 hour plane ride to go. After staying here she reports she never wants to go anywhere else for future vacations. I can not recommend this condo and property more highly. It really was the perfect spot for the perfect vacation. We will be back.
