My wife and I visit Maui every year and we have stayed at a handful of condos. This unit was perfect with everything we would need. This has been a great experience. Close to parking garage, very easy walk to the beach, clean and comfortable. The only little ding would be the not so non-stick pans, but by no means would this be a deal breaker. We would happily stay here again.

The location borders on the golf course but is not susceptible to stray golf balls. Gorgeous views but can get warm on the outdoor deck in the afternoon - the sunshade helps. Location is at the edge of the property farthest from the cabanas and near the road but road noise wasn’t a factor. We used the complimentary shuttle service to get to the cabanas. There is a parking lot right beside the property but it was closed due to the roof repair project (just about completed).
Couches were outdated and should be cleaned, but were comfortable. Beds and bedrooms were excellent, bathrooms were clean and laundry facilities good.
It would be nice if the owners supplied a couple beach chairs, a beach umbrella and maybe some boogie boards. We rented chairs and an umbrella at the snorkel shop in the mall behind us. The only problem when we arrived was no dishwasher soap but a call to Vacasa solved that quickly.
Buy a couple of freezer packs if you want to keep refreshments and food cool at beaches and pools.
Overall, a great spot for the 6 of us (including 2 preteens)

I only wanted beach access for the week. Whaler’s Village is miserable but that’s nothing new over the years.
Was let down by the lack of deep cleaning. Not expecting perfection but I had to take way too many photos to document each undesirable condition.
The price is way too high to not have taken care to remove grime from the fridge or floors. Microwave light was out. Fridge filter was bad, couldn’t use the filtered water. I don’t think the owners visit much.
Luckily I only used the room to sleep and make breakfast. I do appreciate the air filter in there.
No welcome gift or gesture, no coffee packets, just bare bones and a dirty brewer. I opted for my own green tea instead. Couple laundry pods provided.
Get this, they actually have a list for you to do some cleaning tasks before you leave. Beyond what is normal. I turned it back over it in better condition than when I arrived and just shook my head. Felt like I worked there for the day.
I’ve stayed at Eldorado four times and was left wondering many things - felt purely transactional.
Just not a good value. Host charge and cleaning fee really sours it all for what I was provided. Wouldn’t stay in this unit again but perhaps it will work better for you.

Our place, unit K207 was PERFECT for my husband and I. It was clean, comfortable and well stocked. We loved that there was a cooler and beach chairs in the unit for days when we were headed out away for an adventure. The cabana was the best amenity though-perfect stretch of beach and also nice to set up a home base there and then walk to black rock or walk over to Airport beach to snorkel. We LOVED IT!

The condo was a great large size for our family of 4. Huge lanai that we enjoyed breakfast and drinks daily. The location was close to the beach and close by restaurants and shopping. Our 17 & 18 year olds woke early and would grab a coffee drink from a nearby shop and then head to the beach for snorkeling. We never used the golf cart to take us to the beach. It was an easy 5 min walk. Many other restaurants and things to do were an easy drive from this location. We had a fantastic stay in Maui.

We have been to Hawaii about 15 times over the years. We have stayed at many upscale resorts and I can honestly say none of them have provided the true Hawaiian experience like Steve and Inga's place at the Maui El Dorado. The furnishings and accessories of this home are incredibly tasteful and convenient. Everything you need to enjoy your stay is available at your fingertips. The lanai offers an unbelievable view with top notch BBQs and a beautiful pool literally steps away. The location of this home is secluded and quiet amongst a manicured tropical setting. It is just a short walk to a cabana club with all that you need to be comfortable while at the beach. And the beach is beautiful with lots of great snorkeling along the whole mile stretch. The crowds are small compared to other local beaches. The location is just a short walk to the Kaanapali Beach resorts and shopping with the 6th hole of the golf course feet away from your front door. This home is our new happy place and there is nothing about it that we did not thoroughly enjoy. Great job Steve and Inga and thank you for opening your unbelievable piece of paradise to us. Mahalo

We stayed at this property last year. We loved the view. The room was nicely updated. But, it did not have drapes, curtains or blinds. I left this note in my review last year, (many other reviews had this same complaint). The response to me and others was: "this has been addressed". As such, we rebooked this room this year, thinking it had been addressed. However, upon arrival, there are still no window coverings! Yes, there is a sun shade on the patio, but it provides no privacy to the room. When it is dark outside, and light on inside, you can see right in, we tested it. Even though it is vacation, there is no sleeping in, in the morning...as sun comes up at 6 am, so room is illuminated and very bright, as there are NO WINDOW COVERINGS. In the afternoon, the sun is setting in the west and the room becomes very hot, the a/c cannot keep up, because there are NO WINDOW COVERINGS. This is very strange as every other condo in this property has some type of window coverings.
We also had a problem with check in this year. The front desk at Maui Eldorado had no idea we were going to be staying there. They had to call Maui Paradise Properties to straighten this out.
When we got to the room, the t.v. was on, very strange.
Likewise, the room did not seem as clean as last year. Dust on furniture, and removing our shoes upon walking in the door, our feet became dirty. Packing to leave, we looked under the bed and it is filthy with dust bunnies.

We have been to the Eldorado many times over the years. Our original booked unit was slated to have roofing done so we were upgraded. Communication was excellent from the start. The unit was nice and private on the second floor with a stunning view of the ocean and golf course. Sunsets were incredible on the lanai. Was clean and well stocked with anything one could need for short trip or longer stay. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Maui Kaanapali Vacation rentals.

The two separate bedrooms and bathrooms worked well. The kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of towels and beach chairs.
We took advantage of the full gym and the pool and hot tub.
The local beach was never crowded and there was an area to snorkel. The cabana was helpful during the day as we didnt need to bring towels or chairs.
The resort side (Kaanapali beach) had surf lessons, boat cruises, restaurants and shops. Its about a 15 minute walk (with kids who dont like walkimg) and there is parking if you want to drive.
Overall it felt like a good deal.

This was a great spot for couples. It was within the resort area so convenient walking distance to whalers village. The kitchen was well stocked. We would probably choose a place with more of a view next time but since we weren’t there much it was great for this trip. The AC was nice and cool which was much appreciated! I have been to Maui many times, lived there decades ago, and feel this stretch of Kaanapali beach is the nicest in the island. The lack of stove and the development gives the beach a quiet old world feel. The renovated unit is amazing. Huge, amazing decks that can easily hold dinner parties and quiet lounges overlooking the golf course and the ocean beyond. Everything feels modern, chic, and new. Absolutely loved the induction all the amenities provided. I know this sounds like a staged review, but it’s the real deal. This custom unit and the Eldorado could not be beat. And there is a lot of world class competition.

We loved our stay at J220. The view is so “Maui”. Perfect sunsets every night. To sit out on the Lanai with a glass of wine at the end of the day is a must! This studio has everything you could want.
