Had a great stay. Location was good in terms of amentities on property as well as quietness. Was kind of hoping to be within more walkable distance of Kamaole III - that
hill is deceiving, hard to walk up with gear. Otherwise, Kihei and the condo were great for what we needed. Very close by car to all the shops and restaurants that Kihei has to offer.
Also close to Wailea.
As for the condo itself, clean and spacious. Fit our family perfectly. Lots of pro like the lanais and the big kitchen with everything you need to cook. There were also cons though. One not within the control of the owners. First morning there, was startled awake by smoke detector beeping at 5:45am in the master. Called the 24 Vacasa hotline. Property maintenence not there until 8am. Did not return to sleep waiting up for them. Maintenance did not arrive until 1pm for a key issue and 3pm for the smoke detector. Again not the owner's fault but definitely something the maintenance needs to figure out. Finally, there was also a runny toilet in the 2nd bedroom. Just a heads up. Didn't bother us too much but is probably wasting water.
Minor problems which did not overshadow how great our vacation was. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

First and foremost, we would stay in this unit again. The property is absolutely gorgeous. The condo is well equipped with everything you would possibly need for a beach vacation. The location is fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed Kam 3 across the street. The view, and sounds of the birds, from the lanai was incredible. The grounds around Maui Kamaole are beautiful and we enjoyed both pools and cooking on the bbqs.
We didn't want to leave. We look forward to being back one day soon.

We chose this unit because of the size and number of beds available. None of the other units offered two double beds in a room during the time we wanted to stay. Fortunately, we still had a sunset view. So awesome! Carpets needed cleaning which was the only reason we gave it 4 stars for cleanliness. 5 stars for everything else.

cute and quiet condo in Kihei/Wailea area, walking distance to Kamaole Beach 3, gorgeous views of the water and sunset from the patio. The unit was impressively clean, well decorated, full kitchen with yummy snacks, washer and dryer (that you can't use after 10pm), parking spot right in front of the unit, very spacious. fun bar/upscale outdoor mall in Wailea with a couple of good restaurants also, nearby grocery store and gas station too. Lots of beach equipment in the unit to borrow and they also have a pool! I would highly recommend staying here for a peaceful vacation, so nice a to have a whole condo to relax in vs just a hotel room in the resort area. One of the nicest vrbos we have ever stayed in, great communication with the manager too

This place was amazing! Everything was as advertised! Ali and Steve were amazing hosts and communicators. They made sure to check in with us during our stay. They take pride in their slice of paradise as the details of their place was spectacular. A very full and stacked kitchen with spices and all. A beach closet that has everything you need for your trips to the beach! No rentals necessary! It was quiet, well maintained and just a beautiful oasis! We hope to stay there again someday as we had the best experience! Such a beautiful area in Maui! Exceeded our expectations!! Mahalo!!

We loved the condo! It had everything we needed. When you arrive it will be hot but turn in the air conditioners and it will be great. They had blankets for all the people we had. We appreciated that. They lots of beach towels and regular towels for our family of 6. Overall we loved our stay.

Our condo was perfect - very clean, very comfortable and very well equipped. The upper pool was our favorite and it was so nice to be able to walk right across the street to snorkel or watch the sunset. We also loved being close to Wailea and slightly out of the more heavily trafficked stretch of Kihei.

We have been staying at the Maui Kamaole for 25 years and this was probably our best unit yet. Very clean. Beautiful upgrades. Master bed was decent, just a little firm for my personal taste. Plenty of beach gear (some of the chairs are on their last leg though). Well appointed kitchen. Living room pull out sofa bed is pretty rough, my teen thought she would sleep there until we pulled it out. Mattress was all springs, very creaky and internal fabric coming off. Sofa itself was ok but definitely not big enough for two people to comfortably lounge and stretch out. Access to both pools was great, this is a prime central location. Overall we will choose this unit over and over and highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Maui Kamaole! Kids could walk to the beaches and Kihei strip, close to everything on the south side. Our hosts thought of everything, and we made great use of the boogie boards, chairs and cooler. Every evening we made sure we gathered on the lanai for the most amazing sunsets ever. We would definitely stay here again.

We just returned from a great ten night stay at Maui Kamaole J-103. The condo was very clean, fully stocked with everything we needed for meal preparation, and the check-in/check-out process with Maui Rentals was easy and professional. We were impressed by the quantity and quality of the towels, soap, etc. in the bathrooms and kitchen. We really liked the proximity of this unit to the grotto style pool and the privacy of the lanai. The lanai also had two nice recliners that were not shown in the photo that were a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed our morning walks on Keawakapu Beach which is within short walking distance from the condo. Kam III Beach was right across the road for sunset viewing. I also need to give a shout out to Maui Rentals for great customer service. We had an issue with a large kitchen knife getting stuck in the knife block in a kitchen drawer which impeded the drawer from opening more than a couple of inches. Totally operator error on our part, but when I called in the issue the man on the phone (Jess?) was so friendly, understanding, and professional. He greatly reduced our embarrassment and stress level for jamming the drawer. Nothing but a positive experience renting from Maui Rentals. We would definitely stay here again.

Nicely remodeled condo, (modern and neutral) - when so many others we looked at felt dated with overly flowery decor. This place was exactly as depicted. Very comfortable, nicely equipped and quiet. We especially loved the cool AC, laundry, and water sports items. Communication was perfect. Highly recommend!

This unit is very updated with modern amenities and appliances. Bathrooms are very clean, functional and remodeled. Kitchen is spacious and AC works really well to cool it down when it gets humid. Location is great in Kihei and close to the beach, parks and local shops. Would definitely recommend this for any family or couples.

My husband and I stayed at J112 Maui Kamaole for a week in July. The views from this condo were amazing. We loved the Hawaiian decor. The condo was equipped with beach chairs, coolers, and umbrellas. The kitchen had all of the essentials. The living room and bedroom were comfortable. We ate breakfast every morning on the lanai and watched the sunset from the lanai every evening. The location of the condo was convenient to restaurants, stores, and the best beaches in Kihei. It was a short drive to the airport and to other sights in East Maui. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this condo to couples of those traveling with small children.

Great modern amenities and updated appliances. Bathrooms are amazing as well as the kitchen and AC units. Location is great for Maui and close to shops, stores and beaches and parks. This unit is perfect for family of 4 or a couple. Parking is easy to find next to this unit. The only downside is that the nicer pool is high up in the property so you will need to drive to it instead of walking but thats only because there are many units in this complex.

We really enjoyed our trip to Maui. It was our 2nd time staying at the Kamaole condo complex. We were able to check in early and extend our check out time. The condo was clean and had all the things we needed for cooking. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. We had an ocean view and it was short walk to the beach.

Our family loved this condo! Very well stocked, clean and comfortable. We traveled with our 15 year old son and his 17 year old buddy, the layout was great for all of us! The lanai was so nice and large, overlooking one of the pools. Perfect location for being able to walk to the beach and a very short drive to all the great restaurants and shops in Kihei. The owner was awesome, booking process was smooth and she checked in with us personally to ensure we had everything we needed. All the beach gear was in great condition as well. Highly recommend this property!

I have never given a bad review, but this place was disappointing for what we paid for it. When we arrived there was sand all over the floors. I understand the beach is close but the cleaning person should have vacuumed up all the sand. It would help if there were rugs at the front and back door to wipe your feet on and leave your shoes. Under the beds was gross - looks like they never vacuumed- we always check under the beds to make sure we didn’t leave anything. There were no window treatments on the windows in the family room where the pull out couch is which is annoying when you are trying to sleep. The master bedroom has thin windows treatments that let all the sun in right in your face at 6:00 am and the bed was not comfortable. There were signs in the bathrooms that read - clean with water only. Water doesn’t kill any germs! It made me question if it was sanitized between us and the previous renters. The sheets and towels appeared clean. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook. The family room was open and had comfortable seating for our family. I also like to start laundry typically before we leave , but with 2 detergent pods you couldn’t do much.

Kihei is a great place to stay on Maui. This condo was well appointed and comfortable for couple with our teen. The Murphy bed in living room could be left down with easy access around. Chairs and towels for beach were great because there are multiple public beaches very close to condo. Condos are situated nicely to offer good privacy on the lanai and great sunset views. Almost everything is provided except for shampoo and conditioner…it was helpful that others mentioned so you can be prepared. Highly recommend and we would look to stay again.

Had a great stay in this very well equipped unit which had everything you'd need, all those little things you sometimes find are skimped on and you spend a fortune topping up, but everything was there, condiments, cooking oil (may have been left by last residents of course) tea coffee, paper towels toilet rolls, washing liquids and sprays, dishwasher tablets, a good selection of beach stuff like chairs and boogie boards (2x) a cooler box. very modern washer dryer which i used several times and meant minimal packing.
It was was very clean with zero insects over my near 3 week stay.
AIr con in lounge and bedroom. Safe in bedroom closet.
Theres a convertible sofa bed in the lounge but i didnt use that.
I highly recommend this unit.

This condo had all the necessary comforts of home. We love staying at Maui Kamaole. This was our 5th stay and will be back.
There was plenty of beach chairs and beach toys which we really enjoyed.
My only complaint was not being able to access until 4pm when our flight arrived at 9:30am. Made for a long wasted day.

This was our second time staying in Kihei and we love the area. Maui Kamaole is a quite hilly complex but this particular unit is located close to the entrance making it convenient to walk to/from the main drag or Kamaole Beach Park 3. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook, grill, or pack the cooler. There are two beach umbrellas, four low back Tommy Bahama beach chairs, pool/beach toys, snorkel gear and beach/pool towels. The lanai has a gorgeous view and seating for six with a retractable awning. Our only complaint, and it's a big one to us, is the bed in the room on the main floor. It was EXTREMELY uncomfortable! The mattress is thin and the springs can be felt in certain areas. The linens are not quality and we felt as though we were sleeping on a camping mattress/bed. The bed in the loft bedroom is more comfortable but not convenient for those who have trouble with stairs...with the condo being on the second floor and the loft being on the second floor of the unit, you're essentially going up two flights of stairs to get to the loft. Aside from the bed, we enjoyed G-201.

Dorothy’s property is in Maui Kamaole and it is a hidden gem of a resort. Even though the condo is not ocean front, the resort boasts amazing gardens, two beautiful pools and birds galore. Around the grounds there are many bbq’s and walking paths along with tennis courts. Located across the tree from the Kihei boat launch where we would go and watch the turtles in the bay before sunset. The condo is well equipped with beach chairs, cooler and beach towels along with some things for children to use but we were all adults staying so can’t comment on everything there. The units has AC in all rooms which we only turned on when we were home in the evening but it worked really well. The unit is on the main floor and had a patio with a beautiful garden. We had chickens, doves and grouse come up to our patio regularly which we loved. Our favourite pool which was just around the corner from us, was surrounded by plants and boasted a waterfall with a sit up ledge on one of the sides. It was never really busy and could always find a seat to be around the pool. We had an amazing two weeks staying here and I would stay there again. Thank you and much Aloha!
