Maui Kamoele is a well maintained property and the amenities like the pools, hot tub, bbqs and tennis are awesome. Karen is a great host and was able to move our dates around seamlessly. She texted us as we arrived but we really had no issues to be addressed our entire stay!

View better than pics, private and quiet. Lanai furniture, beach chairs, umbrella quality and in great shape. Great proximity to beach, pool and fabulous sunsets! BBQ’s immaculate. Floor does need a deep clean and 24” TV in bedroom pretty much useless. Next time I would book with Rentals Maui (legit and professional) to avoid vrbo fee but both were great to deal with.

Maui Kamaole is in great location of Kihei with nice gardens. The unit itself was large and clean with a nice garden but the unit felt run down and in need of a facelift. Kitchen and bathroom cabinet are old, broken countertop in the kitchen as well as very uncomfortable and old mattress as well as pillows which saw better days. We never managed to have any TV working as there were 4 remotes with no instructions and the wifi was on and off in the bedroom. Also the tub wa old and needs updating.

Of course, we loved the beautiful view from the lanai! The sunsets, the humpbacks and the moon.
The condo was spacious for the 5 of us and was well appointed with towels, beach chairs, snorkels etc.
The kitchen had everything we needed.
The grounds at Maui Kamaole are beautifully kept and add to the Hawaiian vibe.
We used the lower pool and hot tub exclusively and they were always sparkly clean.
The air conditioning in the bedrooms and the living area were quiet and worked well.
We are happy to recommend this unit!

We were really looking forward to our annual vacation in Maui. We visit once to twice a year and wanted to just enjoy the island to relax. The review for this place is NOT accurate. The condo is nice and location is amazing, but when it's infested with cockroaches, it should not be rented unless it's fumigated. I have a 5 year old that touches everything and I was very concern of the cleanliness of the whole place. We had to put out baits on our own and wipe down the counters at least 2 to 3x a day. This was not a relaxing vacation when we had to worry about the space that we sleep and eat in is infested with roaches. I understand that the island has roaches, but I have never rented a condo that infested with roaches. We would wake up and there would be at least 5-7 roaches crawling on the kitchen counter. We informed the property management, but they just brought us more roach traps, which didn't help. We were really nervous about bring it home and we had to deal with that once we return home. I don't recommend this to anyone, unless the owner takes care of the roach problem.

We had a great time here. The facility provided us with a pack-n-play and booster chair for our one-year-old grandson. The kitchen had some coffee, spices, and condiments which was very nice, we also left some items for the next vacationers. The reason not a 5 star. The kitchen had no potholders or bowl-scrapper. The bathroom, did not have a second set of bath towels for each bathroom. The washing machine needs to be cleaned around the inside rim, there is a lot of mold under the rubber. We did buy and leave an extra camp chair as my husband doesn't like the low ones. So hopefully someone else will be able to enjoy it!

The property is gorgeous. The condo is well maintained, clean and well stocked with everything required for enjoying the island. We encountered an issue with the fridge not working and both the rental company and the owner were very responsive and helpful to resolve the issue and not let it impact our vacation. The location is wonderful, close to beaches and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The parking spot is just steps outside the door to the condo, making it easy to load and unload groceries, luggage, etc. One of the pools is directly across the parking lot, providing easy access for a swim. We will definitely stay here again.

This property was fantastic! There were 3 of us (including our tween) that stayed here and we found the condo like a home away from home. It was fully stocked with anything we could need. Fred was the best to deal with, checking in with us to make sure we were comfortable and even provided a new mattress topper for the pullout sofa which made sleeping much more enjoyable for our child.
The condo is a short distance to the beach. The Kamaole property is beautifully maintained and the upper pool is well kept with lush greenery and flowers; simply an oasis.
We will definitely be back.

This condo was wonderful for my family of 4. We traveled to Maui for three nights and thought the unit was clean and well appointed. There were a lot of toys to play with at the beach which made the short walk down to the beach even sweeter.
The beds were super comfortable with sheets that were crisp and clean!
The host was especially generous with granting us a late check out. I know it's not always possible but it was so generous and really helped my family enjoy the last day in Hawaii.

The condominium was everything as advertised. The property owner (Monika) and local island contact responded quickly to questions (e.g. check-in instructions, minor maintenance to replace light bulbs). Our friends stayed in the G complex, and they paid a bit more for unobstructed views of the water.
We appreciated the pool and beach toys that were provided, a well-appointed kitchen and clean condominium. We spent A LOT of time at the pool in the evenings (great!). We never used the A/C because the breeze was lovely.
Some very minor suggestions for the future: The stoneware plates and bowls could use an upgrade soon, because they heated up in the microwave before the food did. We could also have used a couple of boxes of facial tissue since none were supplied as part of the condo.
Still, as the designated dishwasher in the house, I appreciated the new dishwashing sponge and drying rack.
Would stay again at this condor if available.

This is a spotlessly clean and quiet condo away from the hustle and bustle of central Kihei. Stocked with absolutely everything one could possible need for cooking, beach activities and general relaxation.
Towards the rear of the Maui Kamaole complex there is obviously no direct ocean view but the important trade-off is that you are also well removed from the often very busy main road and its noise.
Tile floors throughout make for easy cleanup of the inevitable sand. The mini-split A/C cooled things down quickly although we found just letting the breeze waft through was usually enough.
Easy ten minute walk to beautiful Keawakapu beach, among others.
Great communication with Barry and Simon and we’re very happy with our choice to stay here.

The condo is spacious enough for 4 people easily. Clean and comfortable. There are shower amenities and also sunscreen probably left by other guests. There are chairs and beach equipment in the closet, a great perk since we usually rent beach chairs for a week. A quiet area, with a nice patio to sit and relax.Pool was crowded, but we usually went to the beach. It’s a bit of a hike to some restaurants but a great location for us. Would stay there again!

My wife and I were very pleased with the one week that we spent at Kamaole Sands M-110. The condo is nicely renovated and felt very comfortable. It sits at the top of the hill in the Maui Kamaole complex and as such requires a bit of a walk down the hill to get to the beach areas but with a car, all the beaches of Kihei and Wailea are easily accessible. We had a minor issue on day of arrival, but Joe was able to help us resolve it very quickly…. that kind of responsiveness and assistance was greatly appreciated. The patio area is very private and quiet. While we did not use them, the BBQ area, tennis courts and pool are all within easy walking distance. We would definitely return to this condo in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a one-bedroom condo in the Kihei/Wailea area if an ocean view is not a must requirement.

Our stay was lovely. The unit is in a great location, quiet and a bit of a peak a boo view of the ocean. Kitchen was outfitted well, just missing a cheese grater. Living room furniture was great but the hid-a-bed was uncomfortable.(typical for a hid-a-bed) The king bed in the bedroom was firm and comfortable but we found the pillows were too flat. It would have been nice to have an option available of fluffy or flat pillows. Lots of beach equipment available and beach/pool towels too. All in all it was a great unit.

Some beach items are close to needing replacing but good selection for couples (chairs / umbrella) and a cart for a family that might need to haul more. Would stay here again next year - but I think it’s already booked!

The condo was perfect, we had everything we needed. There were a few hiccups, nothing major and the property manager was on it instantly to have it resolved. I appreciated the quick response so we could continue with our holiday.
The beach is a REALLY short distance from the condo. Less than a 15 minute walk, so you don't have to fight with parking. I would definitely book there again!

This Condo is exactly how the pictures show it. The view is amazing. Mark is an incredible host. I at first couldn’t find a fan, texted him and within an hour he was delivering a fan. The condo had everything you could need, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, beach umbrella, kids sand toys… the kitchen.. has everything. He’s literally thought of everything ! He goes above and beyond. I left an expensive sweatshirt the day we flew home to Oregon, he mailed me my sweatshirt! You will not be disappointed in this condo. We will be back! Mahalo Mark!

- Ground floor units have foliage surrounding each lanai so there is a sense of privacy, even with neighboring units.
- Love walking the beaches from the boat launch through Wailea-lovely 3 mile round trip beach walk. Great turtle viewing right across from MK at the Pu Trail.
- Appreciated well stocked kitchen and enough to, dishwashing soap, laundry detergent for our stay. Also appreciate boogie boards, chairs etc.
-note that hair dryers for bath rooms need to be replaced. One has no warm air; the other is full on all the time.

Location is good. We have stayed in this complex before, but the A grouping was new to us but nice. This time of year though you get afternoon sun only on the lanai. You have to sit close to the deck rail to get it. Unit is updated but I thought more recently updated then it appeared. Also, this unit is smaller than some of the units we have stayed in and that was a bit of a surprise to me upon entry. It was perfect for a group or family or four but anymore might be tight.

Unit has everything you need for a great vacation, including all the gear for your time at the beach - umbrellas, chairs, coolers, boogie boards, snorkel gear.
