Condo has everything you need for your Hawaiian vacation. Chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys for the beach. Kitchen is stocked with what you’d need to make easy meals. The only thing that would have been nice is a sheet pan. Check in process was a little frustrating as we didn’t know where to park and it didn’t say anywhere. Luckily, the text to chat with the Vacasa team is easy and they got to us right away. There is also a code to get in the pool but that wasn’t posted anywhere either. Quick text to the Vacasa team and it was given to us. All in all it was a great place to stay.

Everything about Todd and Sandy's condo is as advertised and better! Not only is the Maui Kamaole complex the only place to stay when visiting Maui, this condo is in a terrific spot on the property -- nice and quiet with a very short walk to the pool. Bonus, the parking stall is directly across from the condo's entry, something that isn't a given with all units at Maui Kamaole. Extremely comfortable beds. Fabulous view from the lanai with a generous view of the ocean and Kaho'owale. Very clean. Hosts were accessible, responsive and quick to make an adjustment when we had a slight change to our dates.
Additional features not advertised but so appreciated: Host provided plenty of dishwasher tabs and laundry detergent. The kitchen had a rice cooker! LOTS of snorkel gear and a medium-sized cooler on wheels. Board games. I could go on. The perfect stay and a great value! We'll be back!

My spouse and I loved this unit. It is located in a well maintained complex with nice facilities. The unit has everything you need for a great stay. If there are any questions, the host always responds within minutes.
The location allows independent if on party wants to swim, the other can easily walk down the Main Street and have a coffee or browse the many shops. Grocery stores are about 1-2 miles away, so a car is necessary for food shopping. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and we would not hesitate to return.

The condo was dated with torn patio furniture and a missing cabinet door in the kitchen. Most of all we had cockroaches every single day of the trip!!! Not our first trip to a tropical environment and we know what to expect and how to properly store food but we had them everyday and in every room of the condo.

Right from the beginning during the booking process until checking out Sid's communication was exceptional. The unit is beautiful and clean; the view is spectacular and the location close to beaches and amenities is second to none. You will not find a more hospitable host or beautiful unit in all of Kihei in my opinion. We cannot wait to return and spend another family vacation in this gorgeous getaway.

So many little things that make this place a great choice for your Maui stay. The fewer things you need to take care of or think of or supply for your vacation the better and this place has almost everything you could possibly need for your stay! The kitchen is stocked, towels, first aid, sunscreen, toiletries, laundry, beach gear, entertainment (books, dvds puzzles etc). This is a cozy, comfy place to come back to after long days exploring the Island. The complex itself is really great too, especially the main pool which was always just right for when we needed it. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone staying in Maui!

Our hosts were friendly, communicated quickly and gave us helpful hints for the island. My family had a wonderful vacation at this location. The grandkids loved the pool. The condo was fully stocked and had more amenities than I have ever had in a condo. The kitchen was fabulous. I can't say enough about how homey and welcome we felt in this condo!

Loved our stay in Maui at this condo. Had everything we needed and plenty of items for the beach. Property was clean and beds were comfortable. Only issue we had was a beeping fire alarm at 4am which had us up searching for a 9V battery. None in the condo so I had to go to the store at 6am when they opened and buy one. Maybe put a few in the closet in case this happens again. Thanks for the stay!

I loved this unit not only for the decor but the beds were comfy, place was spacious, and had beach stuff including a boogy board. Pools were beautiful to relax at. In evening we would walk or take short drive to close beaches to watch sunset! AC units in main room and both bedrooms kept us cool. Definitely would stay here again!

The condo was wonderful. It was beautifully decorated, the furniture was comfortable and the condo was spotless. Kitchen and beach supplies were plentiful and of good quality. The upper pool and BBQs were a short walk. Maui Kamaole is in a good location between Wailea and Kihei town and a short walk to the sunsets and beach - where we saw turtles!
The owners - Steve and Ali - are friendly, professional and prompt. They take great pride in their place and the experience they provide. We look forward to our next stay!

The property was excellent. It was clean, well stocked with necessary items. It was located close to the beach. I would rate the property 5 star. However, the location just north of Wailia in the town of Kaieha was nice, it was not nearly as desirable as our previous stays in the Lahina/Kaanapali beach area.
If we return to Maui, we would certainly want to stay in the Kaanapali beach area....personal preference.

We had a lovely stay. We had a vehicle which made getting to the beach with all of the great extras they supplied such as chairs , umbrellas and noodles much easier. We would hit the beach early in the morning before the wind kicked up and then headed to one of the 2 resort pools. Our unit had a lovely view of the town and ocean. Kihei is a wonderful friendly little resort town. We would definitely come back.

Some things that made the condo/stay even better than expected was the attention to detail. The kitchen had everything we needed and more like wine glasses and tupperware, pots/pans, to make delicious and homey meals. The closet had beach chairs, mats, snorkel gears, and coolers for all the hiking, beach, and adventuring we wanted to do. It was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay!

We have visited Maui Many times over the past 40 years and Stayed at a wide variety of Condo's and Resorts.This unit was generally clean and neat. However, mold was found on the refrigerator door and main shower door, as well as a lot of dust in various places throughout. The Bed was extremely uncomfortable and noisy as well. This unit is on the ground floor and the unit above can have up to six people. The pipes from upstairs run in the walls on the ground floor. We probably only slept well about 3 nights (when the unit above was temporarily vacant) of our 14 night stay due to the noise from upstairs... Doors slamming, people talking loud, toilet flushes and showers at all hours, etc. The out door furniture needs replacing and the beach gear is failing and includes a broken beach umbrella. A simple kitchen utensil (cheese grater) would have been helpful. There are 2 pools that both have Jacuzzi Hot Tubs. However, the Jacuzzi jets did not work at either pool. We let management know, but no fix during our stay.

We have been to Maui several times and it has never disappointed us. It’s like coming home and I love that feeling when we step off the plane. We are always sad to leave. We also have always stayed at Maui Kamaole because it’s quiet and in the perfect location for South Maui access.The stay this time had minor issues. First all, it was easy to keep clean with the LVP flooring, a must with sand that follows you in from the beach, regardless of how much you shower before you enter. Bed was super comfy and had great sleeps. Although I love minimalist design, we could have a few more things provided. The kitchen had one towel and zero dishcloths. As a couple, I don’t always want to use the dishwasher for our few things we use, There were no BBQ utensils, and using the provided utensils was not ideal as they were silicone. The master shower was not spotless, some hair was left behind. The master shower had horrible water pressure as well, so we had the use the main small shower for our stay, which was not ideal. One more thing, white/light towels are beautiful but not ideal if you get a stain on them as there is no stain removal provided for laundry. We were very careful not to get something on them, but that’s a worry I don’t need to have on holidays..This home was beautiful and the location for every sunset was superp. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Also the terace and pool were really nice for relaxing. The apartment is very close to the beach and the surounding is very quiet.
