We had stayed on the fourth floor last year and this year we were on the third floor. The sunsets were beautiful! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony every evening, watching sunset. The location was perfect for us. We went to the beach every morning and used the pool almost every evening. Places to eat were within a short ride. The only issue we had was when the complex was being sprayed for pests on Nov. 4. We had to be ouot of our unit by 8am and could not return until noon. Later that evening, the site manager came to our unit and gave us insect traps to place in the unit (for ants and roaches). The management of the unit had informed them that the unit was NOT to be spayed. That was upsetting to us because we had seen ants in the kitchen when we had arrived back to the unit. The pest traps worked - no more ants in the kitchen. I also had a problem of getting bites on my body from something in the bedroom. My husband did not get any. It seemed to be from items I had put in the drawers. Next time I will keep my clothes in my suitcase!!

Easy check in process. Loves the view from the lanai. Quiet complex. The washer and dryer were a very nice amenity. We had a faucet start leaking profusely, we were able to reach the property manager right away and Lisa had a crew in there do fix it within a couple hours so it didn’t impact our trip at all. Love that they had a chest of supplies like boogie boards, skim boards, beach chairs, and flippers. Beds were comfortable and very thankful for all the fans they were very helpful aince the unit does not have AC.

This 2 bd 2 ba apartment was clean, well stocked and conveniently located. The parking was tight but there was an assigned parking space off the street. The weather was very cloudy and humid during our stay, so the overhead fans saved the day as the typical Maui breeze was abscent. AC is generally not needed, but the bedroom AC units were a blessing. Very nice pool, friendly on site manager, and fairly quiet. I would love to stay here again, but maybe in September!

We had a hiccup with check-in (that felt bigger after a long day of traveling), but the owner QUICKLY remedied it. After that, we had smooth sailing and absolutely loved this condo. We stay in Kihei frequently, but this was by far the best view that we've ever had. We loved sitting out on the huge lanai. The bedrooms were super quiet at night. The condo was stocked better than any others that we've previously stayed in. The kitchen was well stocked too.
The owner is quick to respond and helpful. The condo complex, though older, is clearly cared for. We loved the deep pool that went to 8 feet! We did miss having a hot tub, but you can't win them all.
This condo does lack AC. We almost skipped staying here because of it. Apart from arrival (no fans on), we never had a problem with the heat. There were times it was on the warmer side, but never uncomfortable. The primary bedroom cooled down at night. The secondary bedroom was normally warmer, but not enough to bother sleep.
A note - READ MARIAN'S DIRECTIONS ON GETTING TO THE CONDO! We've stayed in Kihei 10+ times, so I naively thought that I didn't need the directions. Little did I know that this complex has 4 separate parking lots that look like one big one from the road. The lot for this condo is the one closest to the fire hydrant. All this was detailed in Marian’s directions.
Overall, we loved this unit. We tried to book for next year, but it was already booked. We are already thinking about booking two years out.

Spacious 2 bedroom unit with well appointed kitchen and so many wonderful amenities like beach chairs and toys. Ateps from the pool, ground floor unit was easy to get in and out of. The shaded latio was a great place to enjoy the weather and have a snack.
Absolutely everything we needed or wanted was there, tha k you fkr a wonderful stay.

The view from the balcony is beautiful. It's possible to see the sunset from the room, the parking lot or the short walk to the beach. Restaurants and shopping were close enough to walk to. Check-in was virtual and super-easy.

Great condo. We were on the third floor overlooking the pool and Kam 3 Beach. Kitchen well equipped (updated pans would be good). In the storage box outside we're beach chairs, umbrellas and a smaller cooler (used that daily).

Everything was great. The views and sunsets spectacular. Beaches are right across the street, food and drinks a short walk. Got a bit warm in the building since there is no central a/c, but who spends time inside when in Hawaii? We made breakfast on site everyday which saves money and time, allowing for a more leisurely start to the day. (We did have cinnamon rolls from the shop a short walk away to compliment the rest of breakfast, highly recommend.) Great place to stay!

We loved staying at parkshore! The unit was very clean, had all the beach equipment we needed for the week. Having a washer & dryer in the unit was very handy to be able to keep up on laundry while on vacation. We had two very minor requests while staying and each time the host was happy to help and responded & fixed the problem so fast it was amazing customer service! The ONLY con I can say about this amazing spot is it does get quite hot in the main living areas & bathrooms we did have to keep open the front door & sliding glass door to the balcony for a breeze during the day & evenings. The bedrooms did have small window portable AC units but they didn't keep the rooms as chilled as we would have preferred so we did request additional oscillating fans to help. Overall an amazing spot close to the beaches & walking distance to yummy food and great for families !

The location was great, right across the beach and it's pretty much close to just about anything you need, whether you're walking or driving. Landscaping was beautiful and common areas kept clean.
The unit was spacious enough for 5. There was also plenty enough of linen and kitchen hardware and utensils.

Wasn't able to check in at 4pm, due to cleaning crew still onsite. We had to wait until 5:30 PM to gain access. We found a lot wasn't clean and had to sweep up.
The condo is very nice and updated. The master bed was good, not to hard and not to soft. They could use new pillows, because they were really flat. The condo came stocked bath and beach towels.
Possibly from not being cleaned really well by the cleaning crew, there was a giant cockroach that crawled up my leg. There were a lot of carpenter ants inside, so luckily they had Raid under the sink and I sprayed the unit. We didn't have a problem after this.
Be mindful this unit is on the 4th floor which is at the top. The elevator is fast, but it's a long walk to the unit. The stairs seem to go on forever when you have to walk up.
There is no air condition in the condo. I would suggest the owner put a portable one in the master bedroom. The condo was great and comfortable, but we dreaded going to sleep because it was so hot. They do provide a lot of fans.
The condo comes with a lot of things like boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear etc. Our only negatives are no AC in the master bed and the long flight of stairs to get up. Everything else was great.

This was my very first trip to Hawaii. I will definitely be back and will definitely book this condo again. Very clean. Had beach chairs, snorkels (which I lost one , I replaced it). Dishes, coffee machine, towels, shampoo etc! Everything I didn’t want to bring on this trip, this condo provided. The owner was very accommodating when I asked if we could check in early, due to my flight being early. The beach is right across the street. The only thing is I would like air conditioning , but the weather was beautiful and we lived without it. You will enjoy your stress free stay when choosing this condo. Our stay here was very nice. We had close access to the beach, and it was clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that there was no air conditioning, but it cooled down at night so it wasn’t a huge deal, just would have made our stay more comfortable.

The location is great. We could get to the beach and restaurant within walking distance. The place has everything we need. The A/C is a little bit loud as expected. We were not there during the day most of the time and at night it is a little bit cold to have the A/C on anyway. There is a pool downstairs which is very convenient. The pool is 3' on one end and 8' on the other end. My little one could manage to swim at the shallow end by himself. The owner is very responsive. I thought I accidentally left the stove on. I called them and they immediately sent someone to check on the place for us. (and I did turn off the stove before we left.) Overall we recommend this place.

There’s not enough I can say about how amazing this property is! Everything about the Condo and location was perfect for our Maui experience. The Beach access across the street was such a treat, the on sight Property Manager was so sweet and helpful it was a comfort. The Condo is gorgeous, the sweeping view and beautiful Kitchen and bathrooms was a treat for us as our home is vintage and not updated we loved the modern amenities! The beach gear was appreciated and so enjoyed using it all! Katrina was in touch and available immediately if needed and made us feel welcomed. Hello, overall, our stay was very enjoyable! Clean property and pool along with well-kept grounds. We appreciated the carts available to bring our bags up with. Kitchen was well stocked with most things we needed. Could us a pair of kitchen scissors however.
The flooring inside the condo had some sort of coating on it that turned our socks and feet brown. Ruined a pair of socks because of it. Would recommend adding an additional chair in living space to add more comfortable seating.
Lisa Sue the property manager on site was wonderful! She is very welcoming and a hard worker, as we saw her any time morning, noon or night working on keeping the public areas clean and well kept. She is wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay at MPS unit 313. The views sitting on the patio and watching the ocean is such a relaxing time. The ocean was ruff with some good rip currents. Kids were able to get in a surf lesson. This unit was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Wish the ocean was calmer so I could get my ocean swims in, nothing you can about that.

We loved our stay in the rental. It was clean and well stocked with anything you may need. The grounds were always clean and well manicured. The property manager was friendly and did a great job answering any questions. The only thing I can suggest is to make the tenants aware that they need to watch and dump the bucket of condensation water behind the master bedroom air conditioner or it will spill/overflow. We would recommend this condo and would stay again.

The condo is perfectly situated in Kihei with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The condo could use a little sprucing up (paint chips and furniture). Communication with the host prior to and during our stay was excellent. As we had questions, responses were clear and prompt. The unit has a wonderful lanai directly across from the beach. The AC units in the bedrooms kept the unit comfortable for sleeping. Although the main living space gets a bit warm in the late afternoon and early evening, we spent most of our time on the lanai anyway...very workable. Maui Parkshores is an older condo building, but the unit itself has been renovated. The pool and common areas are also in great shape. The beach gear and towels in the unit were a great help. I can't leave a review without mentioning the location...its perfect! Right in the middle of anywhere you might want to go..whether Makena Beach to the south or a drive up to the West Side. You can walk to restaurants and shops and a great snorkeling spot and beach for swimming right across the street. The hosts were great, the unit is very nice, and we would definitely stay here again!

We loved everything about this condo and plan to stay here next time we visit Maui, the property manager was super easy to deal with. When one of the beach chairs broke, they were able to get us a new chair within the hour!! We loved the location and the Maui Parkshore property! My only complaint was the floor, the cabinet handles, lanai floor and lanai table were dirty, but other than that it was great!
