We really enjoyed staying here with our family. The place was clean, stocked with anything you might need for the beach and such a beautiful view. It was very convenient having beach chairs and towels there at the condo. The restaurant on the ground floor was AMAZING too! Traveling with a 4 year old is never easy but having the fold down sofa was such a blessing. Everyone slept good while we were there. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a Nice place to stay.

Condo property was on the beach making it easy access to the beach. Local to all shopping and eating and surrounding beaches. Property owner had pretty much everything we needed. Great view from 5th floor location. Would definitely stay again with this property.

We are so glad that we stayed at Menehune Shores! The two bedrooms with King beds were exactly what we needed for my husband and I and our two best friends to stay comfortably. We could not have asked for a better view right outside the sliding glass doors. The property folks were very nice and made our stay smooth from start to finish. The rooftop with tables and BBQs is a hidden gem as well. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We will be back!

The unit we stayed in had everything we needed but could use some sprucing up. Furniture is worn and the shower and tub drained really slow so you were standing in the shower water. There was a key for the pool but you needed a cde. Luckily another tenant gave it to us.

The three main things for us when we go to an island is ocean view, AC, and price. This unit topped our search criteria and didn’t disappoint. The overall property was very nice, beaches on both sides of the property, and an onsite restaurant (Indian food, and it was excellent!). The only reason I didn’t give the unit a 5 star rating was due to some minor things: the TV said it was a Smart TV but I couldn’t get anything other than Spectrum; the Spectrum remote only worked about 40% of the time; the only lamp in the living room was missing the knob so you couldn’t turn it on; the recliner had springs under the seat instead of cushioning so you had to sit on a pillow; the dresser in one of the bedrooms had about 25% of the vinyl torn off the top so that was a little ugly (but still functional). All that being said, I would definitely stay here again

The views of the sunset were magnificent. It was fun to see the turtles come up to the beach at night. We couldn't have picked a nicer place to stay.

Fantastic stay! The location is very convenient. If you walk just to the other side of the Whale Observatory you could have a long stretch of beach all to yourself. We had the entire beach to ourselves two days in a row. Pamela was superb at responding and suggesting local eats! Mahalo!

Loved the property.. Everything was clean and worked out great for our family. Access to beach was so convienant and you can beat the view from the lanai. Only wish would have been A/C since our visit was upper 90's most days so made for hot nights. Would def stay again.

Location is amazing.Beach is right outside your door. Sea Turtles playing in the surf, and sunsets that are amazing to watch. The condo is fully furnished and we didn't need anything but the food we were going to eat. You can get to MANY restaurants, shops, beaches within 15 min in any direction.
The best part of Hawaii are the people - and the weather of course. Mahalo for a wonderful week away from our hectic lives.

We had a wonderful time in Maui. We stayed at Menehune Shores condos. It was wonderful to open our slider to a beautiful area with grass & plants. The pool was so close as well as the Indian restaurant; a few more steps and we were on the beach!!the condo was comfortable & clean.

We stayed at this gem of a home in late September. Everything was as billed. Updated, comfortable, right next to the beach and a convenient take-off/landing point to explore the wonders of Maui.
The condo was super clean and had all space and amenities you need to enjoy the beach town vibe of Kihei and the beaches nearby. We really enjoyed the air conditioning in each room when we arrived home each day as it was in the 90's a few days.
This renovated condo was done with a modern but stylish touch. The pictures, decor, and furnishings were tasteful and true to the island spirit. The new kitchen appliances, fridge with filtered cold water and 3 different ways to make coffee was much appreciated. We enjoyed BBQ'd steak and eggs on our last morning there. The bbq's and rest of the property are super clean and well-maintained. We did not spend a lot of time in the pool because there were too many beaches to discover. Parking was easy. This is a central location to get the local feel of the chill community and offers the advantage of not having to spend a fortune in a sterile resort. Highly recommend doing the sunrise at Haleakala for an "ahaaa" experience. We hope to be back to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets from the lanai of this beautiful home and the cool Kihei spirit again soon. Mahalo!

Beautiful condo, well kept and well appointed (they have nicer kitchen gear than I do at home!). The view from the patio....it simply can't be beat. I liked the 'vibe' of Kihei and found it easy to get where we wanted to be. Car is a must, but the parking was easy at the complex and there was no charge. We loved this vacation!!

It was plenty of room for all of us, and nicely equipped with beach supplies. Everyone enjoyed the lanui for our morning coffee and watching the sun set. We liked the fact that we had a beach on the property without crossing the road, and not crowded. The pool was our go to spot when the winds came in the afternoon.before going out to dinner.

First, I'd like to confirm the good things: A wonderful ocean front view, a quiet and private unit, an equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, ample parking and overall good location. All communication with the host was very good, no issue whatsoever. Definitely a good stay.
However, for me wonderful would be closer to a dream condo or a luxury hotel room.
This building and this unit, though nice, is a bit old, very little space in the bathroom, tight shower with an old faucet and an okay bed.
In addition, some amenities I'd expect for a wonderful rating were not there: a glass for toothbrushes (ended up finding one in a kitchen cabinet), a box of tissue paper, a bar of hand soap and such.
Overall looking at the value for money, next time I'd look for somewhere else, now that I know better. Also a deposit of $1000 for damages (or a $50 insurance policy) seems excessive, compared to other listings.
Again, we enjoyed our stay. Just be aware of the above.

Sande was a great host. She pointed us to great baby rental people that were amazing. She was right there at check in to make sure we got in okay which was perfect because I got the unit number wrong at first and she helped me out. Parking is a little tight and the road is quite busy but it all worked just fine. Checkout process was easy and we had a great time!

First the windows are so clean- when I walked in the unit looking at ocean I didn’t think there was glass there! View is better than photos. I lived walking down to the little quiet secluded beach both early morning and sunset. Ocean water was perfect. (Wind started about 2pm ever afternoon so morning swims were better for us) condo had everything needed. Very please. Owners are great with communication, ideas, and thought of so many things (like including beach toys, adding beach towels, kitchen has nice pans to cook in, and so forth) Would stay again.
