When we walked in the condo we were blown away with the view. On ground floor with lawn and pool and then the ocean. We spent hours on the lanui and sitting on the lawn watching surfers and the water. We loved that it was a smaller quieter community. Clean and super well-equipped condo in a nice, quiet area, away from the crowds of Kihei and Ka'anapali, but still walking distance to shops, restaurants, coffee, and two beaches. Property manager Barbara is helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again on any future visit to Maui.

Maalea is located in the center of west Maui and is a relatively small and quiet area. There are a couple of good restaurants in walking distance. The nearby ocean center is a real gem. It’s only a short drive from a number of golf courses and beautiful sandy beaches. The pool and beach front are small but well maintained. The ocean has access but is rocky and dangerous. Our condo was comfortable and well supplied. There’s a wall unit a/c located in the kitchen/living area which leaves it a bit warmer in the bedroom but fans help keep the sleeping area reasonably comfortable. Overall this is a great place to unwind.

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful condo and the view is spectacular! Also, the location is perfect, we explored the whole island and the drive to each destination wasn’t to lengthy. The condo is in the bottom center of Maui. Also, the condo has everything you need like your at home. Lastly, the owner communication quick and helpful. Response time was quick on questions we had while we were there. Definitely would recommend and stay here again!!

Only things were we could not get the WiFi to work on the tv, and we did not have the code to access the pool. No big deal on either front as I was able to use my hotspot and we were out most of the days we were in town anyway.

You cannot find a better location. Close to stores, restaurants, beach, etc. We watched the sunrise every morning and turtles were by the bay wall every afternoon to greet us. Memories to last a lifetime! Mahalo

We had a great stay! Love the location and the unit was very clean and well appointed. The parking garage is limited to vehicles of 6’ or less so big SUVs beware you will need to find street parking. The building was quiet and enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again!

My partner and I stayed here for our honeymoon - I loved the location to the harbor as I had excursions planned that took off from there, having a pool, and having a clean home and comfy bed to come back to each day. The best part was the view every morning, which was even more spectacular in person! Turtles at the breakwater which was steps from the lanai everyday, and a beautiful walk along the rock wall. It was fairly windy, which may be attributed to the time of year or the location on Maui, but the breeze was perfect to cool down the house each day. Quiet, ideal place for two that I would be thrilled to stay at again.

We stayed in Kei and Miki’s condo for 40 nights. The location is great for connecting to all parts of Maui and it is located in a quiet neighbourhood. The views of the morning sunrise over Haleakala and the whales in Maalaea Bay were amazing. The unit could use a good cleaning and some general maintenance. The owners also need to update the pictures and the accuracy of the listing. Mahalo Kei and Miki for sharing your condo. We plan to return next year.

Fantastic property! Very private. Despite being ground floor, there was no one walking in front of the lanai and so it felt very private and was quiet. Unit was well equipped with all we needed for a 6 night stay.

The rental property was as advertised. It was in a great location, with easy access to anywhere on Maui. The furniture and appliances were well maintained and we had a real assortment of cutlery, other cooking utensils and spices, which was a nice surprise. In comparison to friends who stayed in the same block, they were not as well supplied with all the necessities, as we were. It was also nice to have beach chairs and towels provided by the rental company. The only issue we had was the sofa bed which was not very comfortable. The rental company was very quick to respond to any questions we had, and were very thorough on the instructions on what to expect when we arrived. Overall I would recommend this property to others.

Excellent Location - Beautiful View - Off Island Owners need to start maintaining the Unit. I stayed here 4 weeks in 2023 and 10 nights in February of this year. Things that needed attention in 2023 have still not been given the maintenance that is needed. Drapes are dirty and actually have duct tape holding them on the rod - the dryer did not work in 2023 for the first 3 1/2 weeks and again this year did not work. The bathroom grout and floor caulking is really dirty and the toilet takes several flushes to do the job of taking tissue down the drain. This could be the perfect condo for 2 people to stay in year after year, but after 2 years of renting I have lost hope that necessary improvements will be made. The owner is very nice and verbally responsive, but nothing seems to change. I am so sorry to say that in 2025 I will book a different unit.

Although Milowai Resort is an older property. It is well maintained and relatively quiet. It is in a great location and central to many spots on the island.
It is within walking distance to a long strand of beach that goes on for miles as well as a short walk to the Ma’alea harbor.
The unit itself was well appointed and had an upbeat island vibe to it - especially the living area. The bedroom is next to the front entry and can get a bit noisy during late afternoon and early evening but given the overall layout of the complex, it is a feature common to most properties of this size.
The view from the living area and lanai is spectacular. Within minutes of checking in I spotted the first whale and would see many more during our 10 day stay.

Amazing place to stay, we saw turtles and whales every single day. We watched the boats go in and out of the harbour daily too which was entertaining. We honestly hardly ever left the condo because it was so great just to sit right on the ocean and watch everything outside!
The condo was clean, well supplied and each room having its own ensuite was fantastic. The private elevator was awesome for hauling groceries and stuff right to the condo. Jason was great to communicate with when we had a question.

This condo has it all! Rick has thought of everything you might need for an amazing stay at his condo. But, y’all, the views can’t be beat. We sat on the balcony and watched countless whales in the harbor every day of our trip. To get a closer look at the humpbacks, we walked over to the marina for a whale watching cruise. The shops at the marina were also great for a few meals, especially Point Break for pizza and salad. It was truly a perfect vacation.

First time in Maui and we had the best view!!! Not only can you enjoy the turtles when they come within the rocks below, but you can watch the sunrise every morning from behind Haleakalā Mountain, watch whales breach in the bay in February, and enjoy the sounds of the ocean anytime you desire. Wow! The lanai/view alone was worth the trip! The bedroom windows look out at the green lush west Maui mountain range. The unit was very clean and well maintained. Location was great. We will definitely stay here again!!

We had an amazing time on our trip and the Dolphin Penthouse was amazing. The host Jason and Kim were very helpful and responsive. The place was clean and had the amenities we needed. Amazing view from the balcony of the ocean. We saw whales every morning right from the balcony. The place is walking distance to the Aquarium, some restaurants and the General Store. The harbor is also in walking distance and would recommend booking a whale watching tour. We had an amazing time at the Penthouse, even took some beautiful wedding photos right outside the apartment on the grassy area near the ocean. Would recommend staying here to others, especially if you would like the convenience of each room having its own bathroom.

It was also great being within walking distance of boat tours, restaurants, and a general store. Yet still a peaceful and quiet area. This is the second time I have stayed at this Property and will stay again in the future! The condo is beautiful and incredibly well equipped. The ocean view is amazing and I saw turtles and whales everyday from my lanai. Rick the manager is incredibly helpful, prompt to reply and extremely knowledgeable and kind. He was always available to help with what ever you needed. The area is very convenient to everything and the property is very quiet and private.
I would highly recommend this condo to anyone who is looking to experience an amazing Maui holiday. It definitely is a 5 star property!!

Great vacation spot.
We are all about relaxing on vacation. We had a beautiful ocean view to watch whales breaching all day. We saw turtles in the morning and evening in the shallow water. Walking distance to a beach. Walking distance to harbor for exploring by boat. Convenient location on the island to explore north or south as well. Underground parking was convenient and felt safe. Home was clean, recently remodeled, and kitchen had all you needed for cooking in. Rick was easy to contact. Check-in was simple, even after an all day travel and nighttime arrival. Two travelers were a perfect number for this place. I think any more would feel cramped. Definitely give this place a 5 star rating.
