This vacation was just what the family needed. Beautiful ocean view off the balcony. The beach, grilling facilities and pickle ball courts were greatly used. The condo was exactly as pictured and wonderful.

We had such a great stay here. The location was fantastic, easy beach access and walkable to a couple small markets and restaurants. It is 10 minutes drive to larger whiter sand beaches with snorkeling and many other markets and restaurants. The unit was very clean and large and accommodated 6 adults and two toddlers easily. The views were wonderful especially the beach facing balcony. We rented some beach chairs and toys and then found a good stash in the cabinet under the stairs so we were well supplied. Check-in and out was very easy. I spoke with the manager a few times before we arrived and received very warm and friendly customer service. Highly recommend.

Everything was great - location, cleanliness, amenities and beach equipment, well stocked kitchen utensils. The views and natural light were fantastic. We travelled with a 13 month old, and there was ample space for him to move around. The host mentioned that they didn’t have a crib available, but they do have a pack and play which our son slept in comfortably.

WOW. This was one of the BEST places we have stayed in. It was immaculate, well stocked and beautiful. Cynthia made sure we knew we could contact her for anything, but we never needed to. It was better than described. It was on the water! I would 100% recommend staying. In general, the Sands of Kahana was a very nice complex. Having a rental shop on site was so easy! But this apartment was AMAZING!

We had a great trip over Thanksgiving. Condo is beautiful and upgraded with central air. We liked the location where we could easily get to Kaanapali for all the activities, but were away from the hustle and bustle. Pool is simple but warm, much better than some fancy resorts that have slides and lazy rivers but the water is so cold your kids won’t go in. We also visited the nearby Nāpili beaches and blowhole. Location was perfect!

You can’t beat the location. There are stores that are walking distance and Whaler Village is a short drive away. While it is a first floor unit, there is a basement level so the condo is raised to more of a 2nd level condo. We saw plenty of whales from the balcony! The beach was a bit rocky. Only minor complaint was the master bathroom shower drained very slowly. Communication with the host pre trip was great. Overall we would stay here again!

We traveled with our parents to Hawaii and loved our stay here. We spent most of our time on the deck watching people and turtles. The condo was very clean and comfortable. There are no extra kitchen items so make sure to bring coffee for that first morning.

The condo is nicely decorated and has a killer view - except for afternoon hours when the direct sun drove us out. Window coverings that could have helped were mostly inoperable. Kitchen and bath cabinetry is old and failing. The deck floor and chairs had more than one generation of bird poop.

The kitchen and area was large with lots of appliances and cookware. Everything we needed was available and in great quality.
Every bathroom was large and well supplied.

The condo is absolutely beautiful. The host, Gail, is very responsive. My husband and I had a wonderful trip. The location is perfect with a few restaurants in walking distance. The condo has a full kitchen, but we did not cook on our stay. The in-house washer and dryer is perfect and was used. I would recommend booking this condo as you will not be disappointed.

This was our third stay in this condo! If you’re looking for a unit with an epic view this unit is for you! The balcony is perfect for watching turtles and other sea life swim by, during whale season you can have a front seat to the show!
The unit is accurately advertised as photos are pretty current. Only problem we had was air conditioning was not working properly, owner has repair on the way so hopefully just a onetime glitch!
Owner is really responsive when questions come up! We are looking forward to coming back and will book this unit again!

The condo unit itself was perfect for our family - 5 adults and 2 toddlers. It was updated, clean and the view is spectacular. We did not realize the restaurant was no longer operating and there is construction underway to build a new one. I imagine the property will be much nicer once that is completed. As it is now, the property and grounds could use some cleaning up and updating. We had excellent communication with the property manager prior to checking in.

We enjoyed walking and the fun stores and shops nearby. The beach was nice, but not as good for snorkeling as we had hoped. We are used to Baby Beach which is currently closed and has no onshore break.
The property was large and had a wonderful view. We were in the unit a lot because of the 1 year old. We loved the kiddie pool even though a couple of oldies staked out a desirable shady corner for themselves. The depth was perfect from 6” to 3’.
The property was clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen had almost anything we needed for cooking. Some of the supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, laundry pods and dishwashing detergent ran out and we had to purchase more. I’m sure that this is because we stayed longer than most guests.
The host was friendly and responsive. It’s really all that you can ask. Kahana Sands is a fairly old resort. I would say 1970’s. Maintenance could be better. The restaurant is being remodeled and was not open while we were there. There are, however an abundance of options for dining.
The unit was the perfect size for our our party
of 4 adults and a one year old.

Everything was wonderful and Sands of Kahana is in a great location. The penthouse was clean, well stocked and had fantastic ocean views. Places to visit while there are Mama’s Fish House and the Old Lahaina Lu’au.
We were not happy with the following: There was no bar and restaurant as it is under construction. Other areas were also under construction. I understand that maintenance/updates are needed but not with the fact that the construction was not disclosed and that the property was listed as having a bar and restaurant.

We have been to Sands of Kahana twice now and the entire property is beautiful! We were here for 6 days during the rebuilding of the restaurant but they tried very hard to keep all other amenities free and clear. The condo itself was just perfect! We kept things clean, took out the trash regularly and saw no little critters! Great weather, beautiful night skies and perfect location. Thank you for being so seamless to work with-we absolutely loved our stay!♥️♥️

Our stay was great! Can’t beat this location. The view off the lanai is amazing, I could sit out there all day. The unit is very spacious, plenty of room. My kids loved the pools and beach access. It’s a smaller beach with darker sand then other nearby beaches but we prefer the small less crowded areas so it was perfect! My kids are already asking when we can go back and stay in this same unit.
Our only difficulty was with the stove. All the labeling is gone (I’m assuming from being washed so much) so it was difficult to tell what was “high, medium, low” etc so it was trial and error when cooking on the stove. But it didn’t deter us and we would definitely book here again.

We have stayed in 272 over a dozen times & were happy to be there again. We appreciate the remodel in 2017 but a few minor improvements would go a long way. Cleaners need to be more thorough. Area behind night stands in mbr has much dirt and stains on the wall. Very few cooking utensils, ie spatulas, large spoons,etc. Serious rusting on base of lanai chairs (they were not part of 2017 renovation). AC in 2nd bdr had minimal cold air. Master bath drawers are in disrepair. Lastly, roll-up shades on lanai are inoperable. Overall great condo, will definitely stay there again. The new living room furniture is a great touch. Most important, Evette @ Sullivan Prop was outstanding to work with and has best customer service skills we have ever seen. The only disappointing issue was SOK staff at check-in never advised us the restaurant and bar would be closed 2 days into our 10 day stay.

This was a family vacation to celebrate an 80th birthday, our 15 year anniversary and our son's proposal to his girlfriend. The condo was perfect for our group of seven and we never felt crowded at all. It's well stocked with everything you could possibly need and then some.
