Located on the 7th floor of building just south of aquarium with views of Waikiki Beach and sunsets. For cooking, used the electric fry pan. It is good for grilled sandwiches and heating frozen stir fry. Diamond Head Grill and Market has excellent take out and restaurants are within walking distance. Be sure to reserve a parking space in the garage. It was well worth the extra cost.

Filthy window sills. Windows very hard to open. No bars of soap in bathroom. No bedside table for incidentals. An owner/host who would not attend to any of my concerns and would never return my phone calls. Left the place immaculate but still charged $130 cleaning fee after checking out. That's it for me and VRBO.

Nice unit to stay near Waikiki but avoid the crowds. Tranquil lawn and patio for watching the ocean and sunsets. Has wall unit air conditioners which are very loud. Nice kitchen set-up.. Needs some minor maintenance and cleaning detail. Walking distance (less than 1 mile on flat surface) to Waikiki, Waikiki Aquarium, Honolulu Zoo. Great views of Diamond Head. 2 doors down from the Elks Lodge and Outrigger Club.

We love this part of Honolulu. The studio apartment was well thought out and had everything we need. The property manager was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay. I would suggest replacing the bath towels and beach towels.

It’s closer to residential but still walkable to Waikiki area. We didn’t run into many tourists in our area. Room was perfect for us and very clean. AC was cold. If you do a Lyft, you’ll be fine. If you rent a car, you might have trouble finding a public parking spot due to being so close to a public park. We ended up paying for parking within the hotel one day. Overall it was a good spot for us

Stayed a week with my spouse, just enough space for us two…lovely views, nice kitchenette (who wants to cook full meals on vacation!), easy check-in. Secure property. Easy 1 mile walk to downtown Waikiki.

Enjoyed our stay here! Clear instructions from owner. This area is a little more low key, yet we walked to everything we wanted to do. Great place!

We loved this property. Such a special location and absolute gem of a home.

Nothing special, but it was everything I needed. Location isn't great if you need amenities, but it's right across the street from Kapiolani Park, 5 minute walk to a beach. Free parking was very easy at the park so no need to pay. If I didn't have access to wheels, it would have been a difficult location. Make sure you stock up on drinks and snacks on day 1 of your visit. Would stay again.

Great location. Unit and building are dated, but reflected in price. Clean, and easy check in etc. will stay again

The toilet ran constantly and shut off then ran again. No internet or tv. We messaged someone about the tv and never got a response. Parking is terrible unless you pay for a spot, then it's in a basement area with barely room to turn around.

We loved this condo in the Diamond Head/ Waikiki area. Let me start with the very few negatives: 1- everything in Honolulu feels dated. Meaning, it looks like most buildings were built in the 70s. 2- with that said, expect dated elements in the condo too. Low, popcorn ceilings, vertical blinds. No big deal, just letting you know. 3- the sofa is very firm and uncomfortable but we spent most of our time on the FANTASTIC balcony so it was not an issue. 4- the listing has the 2nd bedroom with 2 double beds. They are SINGLES, not doubles. The PROS: 1- we loved the location!! It felt very safe and it's across from a vibrant park that gives you a local feel. The parking is a little tough at times but we could usually find a spot around the park or in the metered area. It was free overnight. 2- the oceanfront view is the best, the balcony is comfortable and there is a grassy courtyard right on the water that is perfect for sunbathing without sand. 3- You are less than a mile from the Waikiki area, including a Starbucks. ;-) I would walk there every morning and the sidewalk would be busy with runners. 4- there are beaches all along the route from the condo to the heart of Waikiki so it's easy to find a spot you like. Chairs are provided at the condo. 5- check in was easy and there is an elevator to the 7th floor. Only 1 elevator but we never had to wait long. 6- the kitchen was sufficient and the beds were comfy. They supplied plenty of towels and beach towels. Thanks!

Loved the property and the view from the lanai. Only downside was the parking was difficult because of our disabilities and also, we needed more towels since there were four of us. We knew there was a washer but didn’t see a dryer mentioned. But we managed and other than that everything was great. We loved the ambiance. Thank you for helping us so quickly when we got locked out. We appreciate all your prompt attention, and the whole Hawaiian experience we had here. This was a great place to take our vacation.

Great location, close to the beach and Kapiolani park. Lovely studio, very quiet, fairly well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed. Recommend paying for parking on weekends; during the week, there is sufficient metered street parking across the street, free from 6pm-10am. Would stay here again!

June 2024

Located a few minutes from Kapiolani Park and a few steps to the ocean it doesn’t get much better. Our condo had a lanai so you can enjoy the sun and breezes all day long if you so desire. Honolulu without the crowd!

Well stocked, clean, quiet breezy suite at the quiet end of Waikiki. Close to beach, 10 minute walk to zoo. Seamless entry, no problems, would definitely stay again.

Perfect jump off location for all the Oahu places to visit. 2min walk to great snorkeling (saw turtles), Waikiki beach, and the strip. Far enough away that it's quiet and clean. Gated convenient parking in the basement if you want to pay for it. (I'd stay away from parking spot 16 due to leaky water pipe overhead)

The location of this condo couldn’t be more perfect if you want to be close to everything, but away from the noise and crowds. The host was very communicative and very friendly and helpful. The condo building itself was nice and the neighbors were friendly. Only critique is that the bed and pillows were not the most comfortable. The mattress was firm and slightly uncomfortable and pillows were flat as paper. Some updates to the bedding would make it near perfect!

The unit is the size of a moderate hotel room, with a very small kitchenette. The building is narrow, one unit wide, which means that if you are high enough (we were on the 11th floor), there are spectacular ocean views from the windows on each side of the unit. The location is perfect . . . away from the Waikiki rat race, a very short walk to a public beach, and if you can score a visitor pass from a friend, the Outrigger Canoe Club is only two doors away. The views make it easy to overlook that this is an older building and unit, and it shows, at least cosmetically. The AC is a bit noisy, and the bed does squeak, but the unit was quite clean. These aren’t resort accommodations, but it’s clean, quiet and safe, and all we needed was a place to sleep. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again if the opportunity arises.

The unit has great ocean views on both sides above the tree canopy and other nearby buildings. The bathroom sink doubles for the kitchenette. Additional soap for the shower and dishwashing would be helpful next time. We'd come back again to stay here.

May 2024

We enjoyed the property for our 3 day visit. It is located in a great area with an easy walk to Waikiki but far enough away to enjoy the quiet and nearby park. The management company was very responsive when we had an issue accessing the property. The building is a bit older and dated and could use a few repairs but it was a great location to stay for a few days.

Definitely wont stay again because not disabled appropriate. No parking anywhere. You can only park in metered parking and onsite is 30 dollars a day. Beach front is not accurate it is water front

May 2024

Nice location. No frills. Tired and slightly dirty. The pictures do not represent the real property. It really needs a remodel or deep clean. The property feels like it has been forgotten by the owners. Functional, but mattresses are worn, toilet runs, no fan in the bathroom. Did call the owners about parking and they did call us right back.

Excellent waterfront location near Diamond Head in quiet neighborhood away from bustle of Waikiki. Clean roomy unit, well supplied, parking in building (extra fee, but reasonable and well worth it). Would stay again -

April 2024

My wife and I were visiting Hawaii for the first time, to attend a work conference. Between the views of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head, the amazing Tradewinds breeze that flowed through our room, and the incredible back patio of the hotel, we truly loved our room! We also appreciated that the VRBO, while only a few minutes walk to the beach and the heart of the city, was located in the mellower part of town.

April 2024

Perfect location for our inter-island getaway to run the half marathon. Also right on the concrete walkway that goes along the water. Brought my foil-board and jumped right in feet from the unit. Great neighborhood right on the outskirts of Waikiki. Unit is dated and could use a remodel but we expected that and the price, location and kitchen makes up for it.

The AC unit and the bed are very noisy. Overall clean but the floors could have been a little cleaner and one wash cloth was not especially clean.

April 2024

Location, location, location! This small studio condo is just the right and with a beachfront building, offers a quiet respite from the activity of Waikiki just a short ways down Kalakaua Ave. Building is a few minute walk from Kamaina Beach, and being situated on the ocean, offered a grassy area with chairs to relax and enjoy the ocean breezes. Entry with key fob and door code was easy (and we appreciated seeing a security person in the lobby at night though we did not feel unsafe at all). Unit was as advertised - studio with small searing area, tiny lanai, small kitchen and bathroom. Could use a deeper cleaning (dusty floor boards and windows). Some of the windows were difficult to open - it was very breezy during our stay and we didn’t use the air conditioning. Parking was available but we elected to park by the park each day/night and had no issues finding parking. We hope to stay here again when we return to Oahu. It’s a perfect place to use as a home base for visiting. The location can’t be beat!

April 2024

We liked the quieter location and didn’t mind walking to the busier areas. There was an amazing area to catch the sunsets each night and the host was responsive when we needed something.

April 2024

Very well appointed, has everything you could need and even things you don’t think of! Just as advertised. Serene park view, great location, easy parking in the nearby park (free at night). Only a minor glitch on check in that was resolved fairly quickly. Other than that little issue at the start, the communication with management was excellent. We will make this our first choice for future stays

Property as described. Somewhat dated but clean and quiet. Bus stop close by and able to walk to Waikiki so did not rent a car. Would have been helpful to have some information about the bus routes. A box of tissues and some lotion would be helpful also. Loved the common grassy area where we could enjoy the sunsets.

This was an enjoyable place served its purpose as we were here for a wedding we were close to everything we needed and more. Had a nice place to lay out and close walk to beach and aquarium which we went to. I would stay again.

March 2024

Condo was very clean and well provisioned. Owner stopped by and was extremely helpful in ensuring we had everything for our stay and also offered advice for nearby Beach cafe which was wonderful! While unit is not large, we settled in nicely and very much enjoyed the stay! The King size bed was very comfortable and the whole building was nice and quiet. We loved going down to the end of the building near sunset and watching the beautiful view of the ocean and sailboats and surfers and especially the Sunset. Nice chairs and tables as well as a grassy area right on the ocean where there are lounge chairs. The building is across from beautiful park and close to Aquarium and Zoo...with additional parks along the way to these great destinations. The bus and trolley stop next to the building. Previous trips we stayed in busy and crowded Waikiki and this time we loved the feel of what must be the original Diamond Head...still only a nice walk from Waikiki.
