The Ilikai Marina is a great location to stay if you are new to the island. Walking distance to Ala Moana and Waikiki strip. Fireworks at the lagoon are just a 5 minute walk and all the food in the area is amazing. Parking is pretty cheap compared to most hotels and the kitchen is great!

The property was as described, the view was almost perfect. We even saw a rainbow over the harbor while enjoying our breakfast. The property was a bit difficult to find if you have never been to Waikiki. The only disappointment was how terrible the bedding was. The duvet was clean but super stained. We ended up using a spare blanket from the closet but that was very worn. The sheets were so rough and scratchy. The unit is well stocked and was clean. The Lani was amazing. There was some construction noise but it was on the morning we were checking out. The smoking area is located on the same floor so I feel like some of that smoke smell from the hall somewhat drifts. I would definitely recommend, based on the amazing view and the cleanliness of the unit but it would be more pleasant if the bedding were replaced And you didn’t have to smell smoke every time you walked to the door or elevator.

This place is a very pretty modern looking space. It looked exactly like the picot online. Mostly black and white decor with a splash of color here and there. The building is pretty hard to find, if you're walking. I think the whole block is the same is the same number address.

Property is just as described. My bestie and I came to Hawaii, the first time for us both, to celebrate our birthdays. This condo is walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. The only reason I gave a 4 stars for cleanliness instead of 5 is because we found roaches running around every time we came back from being out. Not sure if it has to do with the hot and humid climate. Overall a great experience and highly recommend!

The condo was lovely. I appreciated how clean it was and completely ready for us. This was my husband’s first time in Hawaii and he had a wonderful experience! I would stay there again. The only drawback was I thought there was a swimming pool, but no! That was a big disappointment as I was told we couldn’t use the pool at the Ilikia resort across the street.☹️

Location was great. Bed was very comfortable. Building was good and fairly quiet. When I arrived and entered the unit I attempted to turn on the TV which normally is a simple process. The TV was not working along with the cable box. I spent my first hour trying to get this equipment working then called the rental company to get someone to fix it. No one showed up so I went to their office in person and a woman there called a maintenance person to get someone to the unit to fix it. They arrived and I spent my second hour standing by while 2 people tried to get the TV and cable reset and working which should have been done before I arrived. I hold the owner of this unit partly responsible for this situation as this TV is about the cheapest TV you can buy at a Walmart and once they got it working it never really worked well. The sound was terrible and I continued to have trouble just simply turning it on which at times could take me as much as 30 minutes. Then the so called wifi also was not working. They showed up and tried to fix this but I could never connect to it wasting more of my vacation time and I gave up on it. Luckily I brought my own traveling Modem and connected immediately. Starting out a stay with these problems after traveling 5000 miles really spoiled the experience and I would not recommend this rental company or this unit to anyone. More problems in the kitchen I found were tiny brown granules all over the counter around the sink and under the microwave. Don't know what that material was but I cleaned it up and disposed of it. The oven had to temperature settings and the door would only open about 7 inches before hitting part of the wall. The sink in the bathroom had a very slow drain so must have had a clog which the maintenance or cleaners did not fix. To sum it up the rental company and owner of the unit only interested in taking our money and not interested in providing the customer with a quality stay.

Aloha!Love the Ilikai Marina. This is the 2nd time staying at the Ilikai Marina.I have to say though, I was disappointed with unit #1180. I booked the unit because it was a corner unit which gave us a fabulous view but the unit itself is tired looking, uncomfortable and needs major updates.1. Dining chairs wobbly and uncomfortable.2. Table top for dining table not connected.3. Sofa bed is uncomfortable and sinks.4. Sliding glass door between bedroom and bathroom, very difficult to slide.5. Very dark in unit, not enough lighting.6. Bathroom counters are old.7. Missing towel rod, didn’t bother to take off the screws from the missing towel rod.8. Ceiling light above kitchen sink not working.There is so much more to list but one of the top issues is the smell of marijuana in the hallway. The smell of marijuana was present throughout our stay.James was great, he personally greeted us and assisted when we had issues with the electrical outlets in the kitchen.I rate the view as a 5 but the unit itself a 2. This apartment provided a good sized, clean space & excellent functionality with everything in working order... as well as a lovely marina/water view. We loved the location as we often escaped the crowds and swam at Magic Island, we could walk to Ala Moana centre & we could shop at the locals' grocery store for breakfast & lunch items which we cooked in our kitchen ... and we had great service from James & Captain Cook Resorts... thank you ! .... However, you get what you pay for : and the money we saved staying here meant that we were in an apartment which would love an update. It also meant that we had considerable noise, not only the expected noise from the construction below in the Chart House (which started at around 6.30am) but also the unexpected, and significant 24 hour a day noise of traffic & people in the street just below.... I was so so so very thankful for my earplugs. The view was also spoiled by huge amounts of rubbish floating in the water below which was highly visible from the apartment (such a shame the marina & local council don't clean it up)... and a very ugly & huge skip bin full of rubbish from the Chart House reno right in front. I would definitely recommend paying more to be on a much higher floor but may I say that with the extremely & shockingly high prices which we encountered in the area, it was really nice to save some money. This property is located in a very convenient spot on the western end of Waikiki. It has everything you could need. The kitchen is a bonus as you can chose to self cater if you so desire. Ala Moana shopping centre is a short walk away. The bus stop is very close by. The bed is firm but comfortable and there is plenty of room overall. The lanai is quite small but okay for two people. I can't say that I would recommend the property if you have small children. The entry instructions are a bit light on detail and it should be noted that the entrance to the property is under the pedestrian bridge on Hobron Lane, not Ala Moana Blvd.

Very convenient location. Perfect relative to grocery shopping at the Food Pantry. Food land is a not too far walk. All of the services available at the Hilton Hawaiian Village are convenient. Be sure to try The Grove in the Modern since there is a 2nd floor bridge that takes you right there. Bus stops in all directions a block away.

We had an amazing stay at this vacation rental! The views of the marina and sunsets were absolutely breathtaking, making every evening feel magical. The location was perfect—right next to the Hilton Village, and just a short Uber ride away from the heart of Waikiki.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights after our days of exploring. We loved having our meals next to the lanai enjoying breakfast and dinner with the stunning ocean and sunset views. However, be mindful if you have little ones, as the lanai is on the smaller side.
Overall, this rental was the perfect spot for a week in Oahu.

We’ve stayed in Ilikai before and decided to stay again. The place was great, better than the unit we stayed in previously. The only issue was the restaurant downstairs was under construction and the noise was making our stay uncomfortable. Captain Cook was able to provide a solution to help us so we didn’t have to worry about moving units and we really appreciate the effort!

Overall great experience with the exception of our second day, when the water was shut off during the day for 5 hours. This delayed us from getting a shower after a day at the beach while preparing for dinner reservations. NO toilet was critical.

The unit was in a great location, and it had an amazing view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The kitchen was well stocked and having beach towels plus a few other beach items available was great.
There were a couple of challenges, one having to do with the current construction on the first floor which is out of the control of the unit's management, but they resolved what they could.
We recommend staying here.

Great location and well stocked, especially with beach provisions. Definitely would only stay here with max two people - the pullout couch is uncomfortable and slopes downhill, but the main bed was quite agreeable. Also, the adjacent unmanned parking garage is difficult to navigate. If there is an event at Waikiki (which there was three of our nights) it can take more than 30 minutes just to enter the garage. The ticket reader at the exit also broke once trapping a long line of cars in the garage for a time.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jack is a great host to deal with. Great communication, very accommodating and generous. Check in was easy. Location is convenient and cleanliness is important to us. Extras were nice - beach gear (chairs/umbrella/floater etc), cooler/ice packs, new toiletry items, clothes detergent, some pantry item for cooking and all the necessities were supplied. Little thoughtful things like the rolling shopping cart came in handy. Car seat and playpen in the closet if you have little ones. Layout of suite made it feel spacious. Clever positioning of doors & sliding door allowed us all some privacy when we needed. Lots of natural lightning and clear unobstructed views of the marina and ocean. Can see the fireworks from the Lanai. We would definitely book again.
