Amazing views of the harbor and sunset in the evenings. Can’t beat these views! The home was equipped with everything you and your family needs. Great location with bonus for having had our public parking, we lucked out quite a bit with being able to park close to ramp or stairs. The only “down fall” was that the sofa in the livingroom wasn’t the best with support. But other than that it was a great place and will be recommending this location to anyone visiting the area.

We absolutely LOVED this location! We called this condo home for 8 full days with our 2 y/o and it was absolutely perfect. We didn’t need a rental car, location was admirable and the amenities were already all there for us. The best beaches/shopping/restaurants of Waikīkī are in walking distance and the Trolley/Bus stop was right outside the front entrance. We plan to stay in this exact condo every trip to Oahu.

My mother, my fiance, and I needed a place to stay as we were attending a wedding at lanikuhonoa cultural institute. The wedding celebrants had reserved spots in the Ilikai and also the Prince Waikiki nearby, but even with their booking code, the hotel prices were insanely out of budget. My fiance and I did loads of research and found that folks had properties within the Ilikai for rent. We found a few we liked but this one was the most reasonably priced, had the best reviews, and looked very clean. The wall between the living room and bedroom was very appreciated so that there could be privacy between myself and my fiance and my mom. The view of Ala Moana BLVD was beautiful. We had front row seats to the 76th annual floral parade! Our lanai was so nice to chill on to wind down from our busy active days. The pictures were exactly like the listing in real life. The communication with the property managers was really easy, too. I would hands down stay here again!!!!!

The condo was just as advertised. Wonderful view. Everything you need is there. Location is great. Walking distance around the lagoon to other hotels and beach. If you want to take the bus, it is right outside the building. Fun hula show and fireworks on Friday evening.
The stay here was perfect. I highly recommend this property. I hope it is available when I go back next March or early April.

We booked this condo for our honeymoon and couldn’t be happier with it! It was so easy to get into our unit and the sunset views over the harbor were incredible. Our only complaint was that the mattress is extremely firm ans has some noticeable body indentations. But we barely cared since everything else was so great. We enjoyed our week long stay at the Ilikai Hotel and Luxury Suites very much. The views from the 23rd floor were breathtaking and with 2 balconies you get full ocean view and city view. The suite was laid out perfectly with 2 ensuites on opposite sides of the living space. We will definitely be back! Mahalo!

Communication was excellent, and even several years since its renovation, the condo looks virtually as good as new. Kudos to the property managers. The only drawback is the constantly crowded elevators - but the positives so outweigh that minor inconvenience. If you’re there on a Friday evening, the view of the fireworks set off next door can’t be beat.

We got to watch the full moon set over the ocean - such a treat! Close access to the tour bus stop. Nice shopping close by, and some good restaurants. Especially enjoyed Goofy Cafe for a light dinner!

Just finished a six-night stay at this property. If you're scrolling vacation rentals, stop and grab this one if it's available! The unit is absolutely gorgeous, and the views are even more spectacular that in the photos. There's a comfortable bed and great air conditioning, so you will sleep like a baby. The property is super clean, very quiet, and well equipped, including beach towels, mats, chairs, and an umbrella. There's even a little beach bag and cooler, regular umbrellas, and a luggage scale. The shower is fantastic, plus there's a smart mirror and plenty of bars/hooks in the bathroom to hang things. A good supply of shampoo, soap, and paper products were provided. The owner communicated proactively with clear instructions and left us a nice little welcome gift. Super easy check in and out, plus keyless entry. Great location that's convenient to everything on the island and an easy walk to the beach. We used the marina parking lot ($1/hour, can buy up to 24 hours at a time), which is just a short walk away (gets very busy on weekends). We highly recommend this property-wouldn't change a thing!

Unit is as advertised. Nice Kitchen, full sized refrigerator. The view was great. We have stayed at the Illikai about 8 times. We will try to get this unit next time. I usually wanted the west side, so we could watch sunsets, but the sun makes the room hot some days. This one gave us a nice view of the Hilton Lagoon and beach. There is NO quiet side in Waikiki if you have your doors open. Very convenient for the beach and Ala Moana Shopping. The bus stops in front. We grew up in Hawaii so do not rent a car for every day, just a few to visit friends. Nice room.

We loved this place due to location, view, and how clean it was. The only suggestion bring your towels as you are only given a set per person and we were there for over a week, so we just bought some (no biggie). Bed was comfortable, AC worked great, and noise level was not an issue.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ilikai #1629, and Jean was a very helpful and responsive property manager. The unit was clean and appointed exactly as shown in the photos online. Great location, and high floor with nice sunset views over the ocean. Our one issue was on arrival, when the ac unit had apparently turned off due to the sliding doors not being completely closed. The property manager filling in for Jean did not check this prior to giving us the door codes when we got to the Honolulu airport, and assumed the ac was broken. Since it was the weekend, he said the ac couldn't be fixed for 2 days, so moved us to another building ~1 mile away - which required Ubering and some hassle. The replacement unit was nice enough, although a lot smaller than the Ilikai unit we had reserved. And it was only going to be available to us for 3 days and if ac wasn't fixed we weren't sure what we'd do. Fortunately, Jean was back the next day, figured out what had happened, apoligized profusely and got us back into the Ilikai unit that afternoon (and comped us the first night). Once we were settled we had a great stay for the remaining 6 nights. We would definitely stay there again!

We can't say enough about the location and the beautiful view off of the balcony. We watched the fireworks from our balcony, it was a perfect setting. Check in was easy.
We don't like to leave negative reviews but the unit itself was lacking. The carpet is old and that's OK, IF there were not a lot of stains everywhere. It gives the appearance right when you walk in the unit is dirty. It was great to have A/C, but it's super loud. The bathroom shower stall was full of mildew/mold. The tile area was nicely caulked in some areas, however several areas were not, especially around the shower pan where it meets the tile. (This could be due to not having a bathroom exhaust fan operating) There is a tile missing in the bathroom under the towel rack. Under the kitchen sink was not wiped out at all. There was a big rusty area that just needed a wipe down. We did not cook a thing while there, (we were on vacation :), however the oven door was very greasy.
The pillows are NOT comfortable at all, as well, there is a mattress pad that is foam and you can feel each and every one of the cone like things that are supposed to make the mattress more comfortable....NOT!! There were bird droppings all over the table on the balcony as well the rusted out chairs were not usable.
The location however again, is a 5. We are coming back in March. If this unit was cleaner, we would not hesitate to rent again.

Great room. The view of the city is actually nice. Bed was comfy. However at one point in the stay the ceiling started leaking fairly bad. Water dripping from the lights and AC unit. We called and messaged the property manager and they showed zero urgency in getting things resolved. They initially said to wait until morning however I let them know that wasn’t the smart thing to do with the leak pouring from the lights. They had security check it the following day. The leaking stopped but the ceiling was damaged from water. We inspected the AC and noticed LOTS of mold spurs inside of it that we clearly were breathing in. Hopefully they get it all resolved. Otherwise, good room.

Overall great property, however some honest things to note.
Parking was an issue. Each day upon our return the designated spot was taken. While each time i was given a new spot it was inconvenient to have to call and await response to park. This also lead to confusion for host which caused entering the house unannounced and a repeat visit to gather key left in wrong unit. The host was very apologetic, but I am sure it was not a one time issue and upon given a parking spot and the next day same issue with both spots leads one to believe it is not managed well.
Place was clean, but floors could use to be mopped, outside areas swept and windows cleaned. You are over paying for the view definitely not priced accordingly to benefits. House has very little amenities and the towels are subpar even compared to standard hotels.
While our stay was good i felt a bit disappointed in the place other than the view.
Again host was also great when needed, but there was just some things that should not be happening when you are paying that night cost amount.
If you care most about a view and close to beach I recommend 100%.

We stayed at a great unit at the Illikai. 15 floor ocean side. It had all the necessities, was quiet, and close to everything in Waikiki. The check in and check out were simple. One issue was the expensive parking. The hotel has ‘valet parking’ which limits your ability to travel freely around the island. Otherwise it was a great stay. We will be back!

My husband and I live the Ilikai. And renting from Ali’i is great. This condo has wonderful sunset views of the harbor and gets the late afternoon/evening sun. Love the rainfall shower head option in the bathroom. My only suggestion is that a new knife set may be needed all the knives in the block are starting to rust.
