The condo is nice, though needs updating in that the bed mattress is going soft along with the pillows and sofa. The location is top notch as are the two pools. The kitchen itself needs more pans for cooking a full meal. The bedroom TV does not work on cable. When the living room cable TV did not work, Remy, the property manager responded instantly to make it work. A good place to stay.

I was able to check in early. Friday night fireworks were easy to enjoy just a short walk to the lagoon. Sit by the rental boats with the big wheels. Also on friday evening was the Hula dancers that can be seen from the balcony. We were within walking distace from everything. Check out the park on the other side of the harbor. Great beach with less people. Parking is only $1 an hour at the harbor. Look for signs for the $1 parking. You can park overnight as well. Parking is prepaid with an app. Q-code available at the sight. The beach chairs came in handy as well as the pull cart. All expectations were met. Very beautiful view from all angles of the roomroom. The apartment was clean and in a great position. The relaxing balcony was completely overshadowed by the relentless protests from Hilton employees going on across the road and along the road from 7 am until 9 pm. The level of the noise meant we could not sit outside. And we had to put the tv on loud and air conditioning on - we had to vacate the flat for most of the day as you could not stay in there due to the level of the noise . Sadly ruined our retirement holiday which cost thousands - check before booking as it’s a long term protest

They were trying to make a nest , while doing this the outdoor carpet and walls have suffered. With bird dropping all over.Making it not real enjoyable to sit out on the patio. It seemed to a problem With other units also. Taking the outdoor carpet out would make it easier to clean.

The view was excellent, as was the location. There were some beach things left from previous guests which was nice but that was the extent of the good. My friend and I stayed here, and the advertised couch was different. It was barely a twin and my friend's feet hung off. We ended up buying an air mattress which we left for future guests. The hammock had dry rot and broke while i was laying on it. There was a drainage problem which backed up the shower (which they knew and gave the option of fixing while we were there) and the bottom of the toilet leaked. We tightened down the toilet for them.
The air conditioner doesnt work well and is too small for the room. The TV speakers are blown so that sucked. And whomever does their cleaning does a terrible job. The vent in the shower is disgusting, there was red residue on the edges of the toilet (assuming blood), and shower tiles need deep cleaning.
Oh, and they forbid you from wearing shoes inside..
I messaged the owners a few times with problems. They were slow to reply with a basic "thanks for letting us know" with zero attempts to correct. We ended up staying a few extra days and paying more for the hotel was worth it. 3/10 dont recommend.
Vrbo was great and compensated us some for the trouble.

The until was clean, welcoming and had everything we needed for our 10 day stay! The bed was super comfy and the lanai was the perfect spot to sit and relax.

The Ikikai is a beautiful place to stay, well appointed, kind and friendly staff, close to many restaurants and a short walk into the popular bars/hotels/restaurants of Waikiki beach.
I wish I could give this room a 5/5, the room itself is beautiful, well maintained and clean. The view from the lanai is beautiful. Better than pictured. The bed is very comfortable, full size fridge, and all the amenities. Including body boards and lawn chairs you can take to the beach.
DO NOT STAY ON THE LAGOON side of Ilikai or at the Hilton unless you enjoy chanting, drumming, and very loud protest happening due to the steike at the Hilton, they have blow horns and loud soeaksrs on blast from 6:30am- 10:00 pm. We were woke up by them every morning, located in the parking structure at the Hilton. We had one gentleman tell us to go home. You cannot enjoy the Lanai or the pool area. Quick way to ruin a vacation. This is at no fault of the Ikikai, but if we would have known, we would have booked across town or outside of Waikiki.

The property across the alley had a large, noisy (bullhorns & drum banging), 7am-10pm protest. It had been going on for THREE weeks prior to our stay. We should have been notified. The manager refunded 20% which was appreciated. The Ilikai is superb; the room 4 stars - with everything we needed and a great view. We appreciated the beach chairs especially!

This place was a good location and most of our stay was great. The only issue we had was not anything the owner could have controlled as there was a strike of the Hilton Village next door chanting from 7:30 am to 8 pm. I would not mention it, except I would have appreciated a heads up prior to arriving. Beyond that, I would stay here again and visit Oahu again.

Great property, super clean, and close to so many things! Loved all the windows, having a corner unit, sitting on the balcony people watching, the sunsets, and fireworks Friday night. The kitchen is small but we still managed to cook many meals. Loved having a parking space, but it's a challenge checking in with your luggage, leaving the car at the valet, then going up to the room to get the parking scanner then going back down to park the car. I thought I could park anywhere, but someone left a note on the car telling me i was in their spot and telling me to move. But this is minor when you can have a unit tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean, and true to the pictures, and having a wonderful host, Taylor, who was always a text away to answer any questions!

The location was excellent. Very nice view of the lagoon and beach. The condo was clean, however some of the walls and door needs some TLC. The pillows needed to be changed. had a smell to them. The blinds didnt shut all the way, so It let light in when I turned in for the night.
The much bigger issue, the labor protestors next door at the Hilton. Beware. Noise was unbearable most of the day time hours and nights. Started at 7AM, one time earlier than 7AM until 10PM. Bullhorns, whistles, yelling chants. Noise echoes through out. My hopes is that this labor dispute to be resolved soon.
Sitting on the lanai enjoying my coffee was not fun, nor being inside. Closing slider door didn't help much. I wished I had known earlier of the dispute, not an email on the day of my arrival that this was going on. I could of made other arrangements had I been given ample time.
I understand the protestors are out of the hosts and Ilikai hotel's hands.
The strike has been going on for over a month now..All I wanted was ample time this was going on so I can make appropriate arrangements.
If not for the protestors, I had a good time at the condo.

The check in process was seamless our host was very accommodating and took their time showing us around the condo and explaining everything. Space was upscale and clean, view was excellent from the balcony. Valet parking was extremely convenient, beach chairs & gear was a super nice perk. All and all it was everything I could have expected and asked for. I give them a 10/10! Great job, I really enjoyed my stay.

Condo was just as pictured. Corner end unit with great views. Appreciated that beach chairs were provided. Also, appreciated the kitchen included garbage bags and dish soap.
The only downside was the shower in the second bedroom didn't work the first day. The property manager did address and it was repaired the next day.
We would definitely return to this unit.

We recently stayed at the Ilikai Apartments and overall had a good experience. The apartment's location is fantastic—right near the beach and close to a bus stop, making it very easy to get around. We also enjoyed the lovely balcony views overlooking the Hilton Laguna and the ocean. Communication with the host was generally prompt and friendly, and the beds and provided linens and towels were of good quality.
That said, there are a few areas for improvement. The apartment itself felt a bit dated, and a few updates would make a difference. For instance, we noticed the kitchen faucet was leaking, which was a minor inconvenience. Additionally, it would have been helpful if the apartment had more basics like dishwasher tabs and garbage bags, especially for longer stays. While we appreciated the building's strict no-smoking policy, we did experience some issues with neighboring guests not following this rule—of course, this isn’t the host's fault, but it did affect our enjoyment.
In summary, while the location, views, and basic amenities were great, some improvements would make this stay even better.

Nice resort with very good sized rooms. Full kitchens are nice to have. Our room had an amazing view of the harbor. Bathroom sink was clogged but management company took care of it right away. TV didn’t really work well, great WiFi though, room was decently clean but could have been cleaner. Bathroom sink had a broken faucet knob and corners of rug were held down by masking tape (weird). Front door only locked with one simple bottom latch. Not very secure. Each room is very different because they’re privately owned. We had 3 rooms in our group. Ours was the nicest by far. Restaurants and shops are very limited and not very good. Pool was very basic. No poolside service. Resort and rooms need updating but we would still try this place again since rooms vary so much. Price was fair because rooms offer kitchens and some have great views.

My husband and I had a great time here with my parents. This unit worked out really well for us. The view was amazing! Not only the ocean and the city/mountain view, we enjoyed the fireworks on Friday evening! My parents are old and couldn't walk far but it was very easy walk to the lagoon and the beach for them. There are many restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance so it was very convenient! The management company was very good with communication too! I would love to stay here again!

The view was absolutely phenomenal! Unbelievable. But the apartment itself needs updating. It has twin beds instead of a queen or king. There are no USB charging at all and very few outlets that are accessible. The worst was the loud air conditioner unit. Other than that the stay was ok. The view is what made the stay.

Everything listed in the site for our unit was accurate. The only thing would be the beds. Unfortunately we found them a little uncomfortable. Other than that our stay was great. Excellent location, facilities were amazing and the small restaurant on premises made us feel welcome and the food was great. So were the Pina Coladas. All the pictures were very accurate in the depiction of the property and surrounding area. When we dumped our trash, I noticed in the trash room areas for recycle, garbage etc. I would suggest that if you want your guests to recycle etc. there should be containers in each of the units for such purposes. Under the sink or in an accessible storage room would be great. Otherwise everythings just ends up in the garbage. Even when folks sare on holidays I do not think it would be that hard to help the enviroment. Great vacation. We found it is better to use the parking at the hotel rather than driving around trying to find a spot.

The bathroom had all that we needed. We loved having chairs and a cooler to take to the beach. They were great and easy to carry. My husband LOVED the huge TV! AND we can't say enough about the WONDERFUl customer service that Alii Beach Rentals gives you. From the moment you reserved your room or condo...they are there for you. The condo was very clean and comfortable! We love the Ilikai and have stayed there before, but this was by far the nicest and most comfortable condo. My only recommendation is to put in a small chest of drawers for clothes. There is limited places to put your clothes if you unpack.

Unfortunately, the service workers from the Hilton have been on strike for several weeks now and every day every hour they were chanting and walking around the hotels. You could hear it very clearly from the 19th floor and that made the stay less than optimal …

Overall nice unit but definitely is dated and needs a deep clean. Don’t believe me? Check under the TV stand, the showers and shower fan. AC is only in the living room area. Master bedroom has a ceiling fan but the other double bedroom didn’t have anything. We were too grossed out to use the stand up fans provided as they were so dusty. dish soap wasn’t provided. The bottle available was just a little bit of water to use up the remaining soap in the old container.. hand soap pump was empty. Dishwasher didn’t work. We had to buy these items out of pocket. Turn down service was not provided so we had to wash our towels etc which incurs an additional fee. Hilton hotel has an ongoing protest for over a month and is disruptive throughout the day. overall nice views and is very close to hiltons lagoon and Waikiki beach. Kitchen had pots pans etc you would need to cook a meal but bring your own groceries.there is also a sofa bed. Would probably stay somewhere else due to the negatives noted above.

Absolutely stunning apartment that had amazing views from two balconies. Very close to shops and restaurants all within walking distance. If visiting a beach is more of your vibe, then there’s the lagoon which is only a few minutes away walking distance and there’s also a beach in front of some other hotels that’s about 1015 minute walk. The kitchen had everything that we needed to make us stay comfortable very spacious living room and dining room. Definitely a win-win for our family

This place was definitely located in a great area. All close amenities, including shops and restaurants close by and or walking distance. If you wanted to spend some time with the beach, the lagoon was right at your feet or you can walk 10 to 15 minutes and get to Waikiki Beach. Multiple shops in the lobby, including ice cream shop that we enjoyed daily. The only downside was the Hilton right across the street had a strike so we had to listen to the picketers all day and into the evening therefore we didn’t really get to enjoy the balconies. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay!

We had a fabulous time in Honolulu and this location was excellent - we were able to walk most places we needed to go and Uber was a viable option. The hotel has a few stores and some food options. Note that valet parking is now $45/day not the $28/day other reviewers had indicated.
The place really does need a deep cleaning, the cupboards had food on them the was not wiped off, the shower was very slow to drain and all the walls had many layers of hand/fingerprints on them. The lanai is also very dirty - and the table and chairs are very flimsy with a 1/2 broken hammock - it was not a place we could really sit and enjoy the view. There are absolutely no extras - common cooking items, no beach towels, chairs, or umbrella. It felt very safe and the bedding was clean. But the AC is not able to provide enough cool air for the space - it was very hot sleeping!
Overall, it did not detract from our stays enjoyment, but would be even better if a few things were addressed.

The view was fantastic, however the owners need to go in and fix several things that are in need of repair. Example one dining room table chair was stashed away in closet broken, the floor boards in kitchen area need be replaced due water damage. Fabric on bar chair was torn. Be aware only one bathroom has a shower and the other only has bathtub
Be aware the Hilton Hawaiian Village hotel next door is on strike and you must tolerate picketers loudly using bull horns from 8a-8p and you will hear them at the pool or when you are sitting on balcony! This was very annoying and we should of been advised that this was going on next door!

The only bad note was the noise from 7am till 9pm. The Hilton Hawaii village staff was on strike. They used loud speakers and 100’s of strikers yelling 14 hours a day.
