Great location for doing all the Waikiki activities. When you want to stay in, get some poke takeout at the shop in the hotel lobby.

My wife and I stayed a week and felt right at home. Great location as a base for exploration around Waikiki and the Island. Rented a car for the week and the added parking spot and elevator direct to floor was very helpful and easy in and out with the provided access card. Great sunset views from the 15th floor. Highly recommended!

We often stay in the Ilikai Hotel as we like the central location that's close to my parents. The unit was clean but it needs to be updated. The bathroom sink was clogged and the shower head wasn't very good. The vertical blinds were missing sections, and the paint was dinged up. It wouldn't take much to update it.

Awesome views…can see a bit of the mountains and an expansive view of the blue ocean. The condo had plenty of room for 4 adults. There is a market on the premises which was helpful. Everything you need is within walking distance. We absolutely enjoyed our stay on O’ahu.

Great location and amazing view. Place definitely need some updates, especially bathrooms! We stayed before in other Ilikai apartments and they were definitely more updated! Air-conditioning is very loud and one of them had broken power cord, which was partially fixed after reporting issue to the management. Communication with management was easy and they responded in a timely manner!

Overall we had an enjoyable time at this stay. The location can't be beat and the view is absolutely incredible; because there are two separate balconies, you get a view of the city and of the sea, which is truly special. Check in was easy and simple, kitchen had all the pots and pans needed, and beds were comfortable.
Our main issue was with the bathroom in the master bedroom. Every time you flushed the toilet or used the shower, the smell of rotting fish was present, which was incredibly disgusting and upsetting. We were in contact with the property management company but because a licensed plumber was needed, we had to suffer through the entire vacation with this stench. The other frustrating issue was that the water pressure is truly a trickle in the master bedroom shower. The plumbing issues absolutely must be addressed before anyone else stays here.

The condo is very close to everything you might need. Having our own kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals when we didn’t feel like going out.
The building has a small convenience store, which made it so much easier to grab something on our way to the beach.
I would definitely recommend this place.
The host is very quick to respond, too.

I was fortunate to stay at the Ilikai during a course I was taking and the evening views of sunset were spectacular. The king size bed was very comfortable, , all kitchen appliances were provided, location is great as you can walk or take the city transit anywhere. This is not an updated unit. expect some Lino cracks and a basic shower, sink/ toilet. . I personally don’t need anything different but it was clean and had more amenities than I needed.i would definitely stay heee again

The property was as expected. This is a penthouse apartment with large rooms and a spacious interor. The views are amazing. However there are a few things to note. The interior is of an older style. There is carpet in the main living room and tile flooring around the kitchen. There is carpet in all the bedrooms. The main thing is that there is staining on the carpets. These are old staining and we knew that coming in as recounted by other customers so that wasnt too much of an issue. There was a gap in communication. During our stay there was a fire alarm and smoke detection check for all residents. This wasnt properly conveyed to us so when we went out for the way we arrived to a notice that security had entered our room. Yearly smoke alarm and speaker checks are understandable however it would have been nice to be notified a head of time, rather than returning to our room and finding out that security had entered the apartment when we weren't there. The apartment isvery clean and spacious. The hotel is a busy place bustling with people and all the staff were kind and friendly. The location is a prime spot as it is on the main beach front and right next to the Hilton resort. It is super central and near the major shopping locations in Waikiki. We had a wonderful stay.

I have nothing negative to say about our room. It was clean, kitchen was well stocked and bathroom has a bidet. Stocked with bath towels, beach towels and beach gear. I would have liked a usb plug, only because I forgot to bring my adapter. I was nervous with the glass tables so would have felt better with wood or metal. Maybe a fan over the bed again because I forgot my own portable fan. And maybe an area rug or runner because the floors are all tile.
That was just my wish. Again room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Most definitely will stay here again!

Great location at the west end of Waikiki Beach! Condo was spotless. Small grocery store on ground floor made getting some supplies an easy job as Condo had no food supplies (salt, pepper, sugar, tea, coffee). The free parking spot in the garage was a deciding point to rent there.

The property was perfectly located. Plenty of restaurant choices, all within walking distance, waikiki beach was just down the road. Valet parking was 45 dollars per day so be prepared for doubling your rental car cost when budgetting

Advertised as a 1 bedroom. Waa really a studio with a sliding partition. The bethroom was not clean: hand prints on back of door, smelled, floor tile around base of shower dirty, fake plant on coffee table shabby, counter stools very worn, only 1 teaspoon, lamp on right side of bed missing knob to turn on were stilk cleaning at 3 when we were to checkin, and battery in door lock needed to be changed.

We received great communication with the property manager and for check in. The room is reasonably priced and was clean with a view of the lagoon, ocean and some city. Comfortable king size bed. The girls were okay with the sofa bed. We've stayed in many different condos at the Ilikai for the last 15 years and this unit has excellent water pressure for the shower, which is unusual!

My wife and I make the Labor Day Holiday weekend our annual “staycation” weekend. The accommodations provided by Chris and Kiersten did not disappoint. The unit was clean, tastefully decorated, convenient all while providing incredible sunset views from the lanai. Our hosts were super and communicated with us perfectly. We highly recommend them and their property!

Our stay in Waikiki was memorable, with the condo's cleanliness, stunning views, and excellent location making it a wonderful choice. The condo is beautiful, though we found that it was really a 2-bedroom with a sofa bed rather than the 3-bedroom as described. Additionally, the toaster wasn’t working, and we couldn’t reach the property for assistance. During our visit, the hotel workers' protest was in full swing, which woke us up unexpectedly, and a training exercise with sirens lasted all day Sunday. Despite these challenges, we enjoyed our first official family trip which included retired parents, adult children and grandchildren. We're confident our next visit will be even better.

We were a family of 5 staying at this condo in the Ilikai building for 10 nights which is located on the eastern end of Waikiki beach, next door to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The location is perfect, right on the beach and within easy walking distance of many shops and restaurants, and easily the nicest end of Waikiki being wider and less crowded. The Ilikai is a mixture of private owned units and hotel guests, but all facilities are open to everyone no matter. The lobby has a useful convenience store, ice cream shop, Poke shop and surf/SUP rental shop plus others. There is also a Foodland & Walmart larger food supermarket 1 mile away.
The condo itself is as per the pictures, lovely and bright, very clean and amazing views from both balconies. The AC is excellent, beds very comfortable, and having 2 bathrooms helps with a large family! We ate in for several evenings so made good use of the full kitchen. There were even some snorkel sets left which saved us from having to hire. The shared laundry facilities down the corridor were brilliant, $3 for a washer or dryer. The reserved parking bay in the underground car park was a real bonus for this condo.
We messaged with Rosina several times over our stay and she couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, even offering to arrange a mid-week clean for us if needed.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future!

This was my first time using VRBO. I was a bit nervous about the accuracy of the listing, but the experience was great. The property manager communication was excellent and they answered all my questions. The apartment is in a hotel facility and it was exceptionally clean when we arrived, the unit is exactly as pictures shown. The balcony has an incredible view where you can see the Hilton lake and the beach. We also had all the essential beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, boogie board, coolers, even a kid floatie, no snorkels), we were absolutely comfortable.
The apartment itself is not big but the master bedroom and sofa sleeper were very comfortable. The bedroom has slider doors to close them so each ear have privacy, I found this very convenient. Kitchen was stocked and perfectly cleaned. Bathrooms had plenty of towel for our family of 4.

Stayed for a week with my teenager. The studio apartment has been split with 3/4 wall in living room and bedroom. Great if you want to hang out in thrle living room while others sleep in the bedroom. Huge balcony. Place is fully equipped for the beach. Lots of towels provided. Unit comes with a parking spot which is super convenient. Great host..

This was our first time visiting Hawaii!! This condo was perfect. Easy to check in. It had everything we needed as a family of 3. The beds were comfy. We loved hanging outside in the balcony in the evenings. Each night was a beautiful sunset. Our location was in walking distance of pretty much everything!!! We got a rental car and parked it in the parking garage next to Red Lobster. We 100% recommend this condo. We will be renting again on our next visit!!!
