The room was great but for two complete days window cleaners went back & forward through our deck to reach the front seaward side of the building. They could have gone through the conference/bar room but no they trudged past us continuously. They apologised but it wasn’t their fault they weren’t given an alternate access. Every time we had to get off our deck chairs & move the deck chairs out the way so they could get past with gear. We complained to reception asking if we could change rooms but this was not actioned. There were painters in the hall outside our door and the carpet was redone in the stair tower so we could not use it. Was like living in a construction site, When we had booked the trip to relax & chill out

My wife and I were very satisfied for our two-week stay. The apartment was as advertised: in the heart of Waikiki, a stone's throw from the Halekulani, Sheraton/Royal Hawaiian, and DeRussy Park; excellent water view and coast northward; apartment very clean and comfortable, as well as the building (Imperial Waikiki); staff responsive and accommodating.

Everything went very smoothly from booking, to check-in, to check-out. Karl (owner) was prompt with communication and listing was accurate. Condo was very clean. Location was great and easily walkable to beach and shopping. However, if you want to explore Oahu further like we did, rental car parking was easy using the provided valet service. They were always prompt and respectful.

The condo had everything we needed, including a fantastic view. The photos in the listing don't convey how nice it really is!
The kitchen had everything we needed & all the pots and pans were spotless, which I really appreciated. The bed and furniture were all comfortable. The staff at the front desk, maintenance, and valets were all very helpful and knowledgeable. Communication with the owner, and staff on premises was excellent. We would definitely look to rent this property again.

We loved our stay here! The listing is correct that the apartment is more appropriate for a couple. We had our son stay with us on the pullout bed until his unit opened up. But it was tight! The kitchen is well stocked, but there is a step up to it that may be an issue for those who are handicapped or elderly. We had great morning sun, for those who like to drink coffee or tea on the lanai. Great views of Waikiki, the Royal Hawaiian backyard and the ocean are found there as well. One thing we really liked was the access to the pool from our room, rather than having to go around, we were able to have our own private entrance to and from the pool, fantastic! The resort has a lot going on, especially for owners, and we are, so that was an added bonus! We will be back!

The condo was fine for our short stay. We were able to walk to a lot of restaurants and shops. Having the ABC Store on the ground level was really nice. We could pick up a quick plate and take it back to our room. View was great. Valet parking was nice, too. Having two bathrooms was nice because I took one and my husband used the other. My only negative comment would be about the lanai. Wish it was bigger, I was not comfortable going out there to sit 21 floors high but I realize that the owner has no control over the size.

It would be nice to have an email or phone number to communicate with the owner in an emergency. we were told that our flight might be canceled because of weather and I wanted to ask if that did happen, would it be possible to stay on rather than trying to find and move to another place. It was not a problem b/c are 9 am flight is leaving on time.

From the time we arrived things were perfect. The staff was so friendly. Having the parking was a godsend. The property mangers were easy to work with and very responsive to any questions. What an amazing, adorable, pristine unit! Having worked in the travel industry, travelled extensively, and being admittedly picky about accommodation, I can tell you this unit is EXCELLENT. Do not let the age of the building fool you; the owners have lovingly maintained this unit and I’m willing to bet it is one of the best in the building. Small and spacious at the same time. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean right down to the floor boards (I told you I was picky!). The kitchen was spotless, well equipped and more than functional. The view stretched out to the airport and my Airplane-Nerd husband sat on the balcony for hours watching takeoffs and landings. Highly, highly, highly recommend this unit.

We were very impressed with this place. The unit was very clean and comfortable. It is equipped with everything one needs for a pleasant stay. The location was ideal for beach or pool time. Shopping of all sorts is around every corner. Restaurant choices were abundant and an added treat was having dicsounts because of an agreement with the resort. It’s the perfect Hawaiian location!!

Karl’s place was more than we could have asked for. We spent 5 nights here. It was very clean and comfortable. Had all that we needed and more for amenities. 2 bathrooms was a plus in the mornings. Nice ocean view and you can see sunsets and the Friday fireworks from your own balcony. Owners lounge was a nice plus, as well as the valet parking. Imperial staff was friendly and helpful. Karl was great to deal with, especially when we wanted to add an extra day after our booking was made. We definitely know where we are staying next time. Thanks for having us.

We stayed 11 days in what I would consider an ideal safe location to walk, shop, and dine. We were able to walk everywhere locally and did. We walked and dined at the Halekulani, Dukes at the Outrigger, had the best Mai tai’s at the Mai Tai Bar at the Royal Hawaiian and had Happy Hour at Ruth’s Chris Restaurant right across the street and also walked to the Hilton Hawaiian Hotel for an early dinner.

We loved our stay at this beautful updated condo. The staff at the Imperial were all very nice. We had great ocean views from our balcony as well as private entrance to pool. The rooftop lounge right next to our condo was open on Friday nights for sunsets and fireworks and the drinks and views were amazing. You really don't need a car everything is in walking distance restaurants, shopping, beaches. The condo also had beach chairs umbrellas boogie boards for the beach. We did rent a car for one day from the sheraton next door to take a drive around the island. Thank you Cindy, we would love to stay here again.

We just got home from a week’s stay at Karl’s condo in Waikiki. The condo was beautiful, clean and relaxing and we loved having two bathrooms. The views from the 21st floor balcony were beautiful. Everyone at the Imperial Waikiki were so welcoming and it was so nice to have a parking valet to park the rental car. We really enjoyed our stay! Thanks Karl!

This rental was a gem. It was reasonably priced in a great location. Penthouse suite with great views of the ocean. The bed was comfortable and suite was nicely decorated. The manager Cindy was very receptive and friendly. She offered early checkin and late check out for free. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone.

We could not have asked for a more perfect condo while in Honolulu! The condo was spacious, super clean, and had all the amenities we needed, including 2 (yes, TWO) bathrooms!!
Every morning we enjoyed our breakfast while watching surfers, hang gliders, peaceful rolling waves, boats, and even occasional rainbows from our 21st floor wide dining room window and balcony.
The resort itself was perfectly located at the end of a popular one-way street with restaurants and shops all within walking distance. ALL the staff were very happy, helpful (esp. Arnold - AJ), and willing to accommodate all our requests.
I would DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN & recommend it to my friends & family!!

This condo was perfect for us--so close to anywhere we wanted to go in Waikiki. It was nice having a kitchen--although we didn't cook, we liked the full-size fridge for drinks, snacks, and leftovers. This unit is on the corner, ocean side, 21st floor, so many windows! We loved the view and felt bad for people on lower floors who didn't have ocean view because there's another shorter hotel between Imperial and the water. The ABC store, right outside the lobby, has everything you need--prepared meals, snacks, drinks, alcohol, coffee, clothing, souvenirs, etc. We were in there at least once a day! The free valet parking with this unit is fantastic. Did not have to worry about where to park our rental car, and the valets are friendly and efficient. You also get access to the owners' lounge and the penthouse bar, perfect places for watching the Friday night fireworks. The drinks at the penthouse bar were really good, and the cheapest we had anywhere! We were sad to leave and would definitely stay here again!

First let me say, Cindy was the best host we have ever had in a VRBO rental. Very kind and she was always responsive to our questions. Second, the penthouse was perfect for my husband and I. We had coffee and cooked breakfast every morning. The kitchen is fully equipped. No need to rent a car. You can walk to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping and beach. Penthouse had everything you need for a day at the beach. Chairs, umbrella and boogie boards.The owners lounge and having your own door to the pool was a nice perk. I would definitely recommend this VRBO penthouse to our friends and family. My husband and I will be coming back.
