The best thing about this property is the view. It is what you are paying for and it is outstanding! The pool area, laundry room and common areas were always clean and well-maintained. There is a full-sized boogie board, beach chairs, and backpack cooler on hand on the lanai which is great. The lanai area furniture is also nice. The cafe located just off the lobby area is reasonably priced and the food is reliably good. The property is well located close to other good eating venues, (Kono’s and Marugame Udon, were among some of our favorites). Access to the beach is through the Royal Hawaiian Hotel which is just two blocks down. A bit longer hike to the beach at Fort DeRussey will provide a more relaxed beach visit but it takes 10+ minutes longer to get there. On the downside, this is a TINY, cramped, space. It is best for two people but no more. We had three in the room and it was crowded. Half of the one small closet was blocked off so only 6 or 8 items could be stored there. The A/C is noisy and the sliding door to the lanai sounds like a train is rolling through the room (there is no sliding out to enjoy the view while others are sleeping), and it needed to be repaired before we could open the door (it was repaired the next day, so management is responsive). The bed next to the window is less than a foot from the window and the 15 inches of space between the beds is tight. Another 18 inches from the other bed to seating for the "eating area", it is cramped. There is no kitchen but a small microwave, coffee maker, fridge and sink all worked. The tap water had an odd taste and never got cold, but the purified, filtered, water and ice machine available on the 6th floor around the pool area was always good. The bathroom is also tiny. The parking area is very tight and the automated ticketing system is irritating and unreliable. It was frustrating speaking with the support people at the kiosk as we tried to exit. We booked this beautiful penthouse suite for 5 nights and we were not disappointed. The apartment was extremely clean and tidy and balcony offered amazing views of Waikiki and Honolulu. Check in was a very simple process as was check out.

Stayed for 9 nights in June 2024.
Really loved this apartment and location! The building is old, but this room is very clean, has a new fridge, nice bedroom. Walking distance to restaurants, cafes, shops and Waikiki beach. Try Kona Coffee Purveyors! We really loved the good sized balcony and the beautiful Mountain View during the day. Ocean view is only a tiny bit between buildings but better than nothing. The pool area wasn't too crowded when we were there which was great. Didn't have a chance to use the gym and car park so no comment about these facilities. Laundry is on the 6th floor, $3 for the washer, $2 for dryer. Uber to airport from this condo was $30, Uber to Diamond head was $8.00.
$3 bus ride to Ala Moana SC. The unit is not cleaned at all while you stay there. You would need to put the rubbish out every day so you don't see any insects. There was construction while we were there and I couldn't use the laundry for one morning. Pls check before you go that the ongoing construction will not interfere with your plans. The mattress are old, had stains. It would be great if the owner replace these to new ones... I bought a new sheets set and a pillow case from Target so we feel better when we use the mattress on the floor..Ok for small children. Not great for adult/teen. The two blue couches are so uncomfortable to sit on...but overall great place to stay! Check in and out was a breeze. Loved the keyless entry. We had a great time and would stay here again. Mahalo.

Overall this was a great spot. We liked having the little kitchenette to be able to cook in - saved a lot of money on eating out that way. They also had grills you could use on the pool floor - they don’t all work 100%, but they get the job done and are another way to save money on food. The view was pretty spectacular, you could see both the ocean and the mountains and the sunset every evening. The location was plenty close to Waikiki beach, maybe a 10 minute walk at most. The sofa bed is not comfortable at all, so I wouldn’t plan on sleeping on that. The king bed was very comfortable. The toilet is a little small, especially if you are a bigger person. Probably the worst part of the stay was that they scheduled water pipe maintenance while we were there, so the last day we couldn’t use the water after 8:30am. Why they scheduled maintenance when people are staying there I don’t know. But otherwise would recommend.

On the day we arrived we were given a non working code. We had to text call and email several times and finally 1 hr later we got a new code. Day 1 of our 7 day trip we had ac issues and told by building NOT to use the ac, we advised the host and was told someone would come to look into it. On day 3 we were emailing and calling and texting the host since no one had come to look at the ac. We could no longer deal with the heat that we were forced to book other accommodations and pay out of pocket again. To make things worse this was our honeymoon and we tried to be as patient as possible but the host Just stop responding last response we got from the host was on Monday day 3 of our honeymoon trip and still yet to hear from anyone. This made our honeymoon a living H*E*L*L

This place made our trip a living H*E*LL. When we arrived the code didnt work after a few calls and text messages we were provide a new code. On day 1 or a 7 day trip we were told not to use the ac as it was leaking into the downstairs unit. We called and sent text asking to be looked into. 3 full days of no ac and NO ONE coming to review the ac issue we were forced to stay in different location and worst part they stopped responding overall. No one everr returned a cal or a text . DO NOT BOOK HERE. OH YEAH WERE OUT OUR ENTIRE STAY AND HAD TO PAY FOR OTHER ACCOMMODATIONS

We enjoyed our stay. The only downfall is the 35 dollar parking and lack of no street parking. We walked 10 blocks everyday so we could park in a cheaper garage. Easy check in and great pool with hot tub! Will stay here again!

Wouldn't give the unit more than 3 stars at best. The only things that were nice about the unit was the view from the balcony and the location. Some of the most notable flaws were the following: 1) bathroom door doesn't open all the way as it hits the toilet seat, 2) only one out of the two stove top burners actually turned on, but heating a pan still took forever using the one that powered on, 3) the shower always had a constant drip from the faucet, 4) the shower floor would creak/pop while walking on it, 5) the floor molding that was used around the base of the tub was both tacky and constantly wet, 6) the AC unit would pool water on the balcony. If you NEED a place to stay in Waikiki and this is the only place available, it will do. However, if you are looking for a high quality apartment, you may be better off paying a little more for something nicer.

We rented this particular room for 8 days. It was in a terrific location, with a perfect view. The room is not as updated as the pictures show. No throw pillows on the bed, and for sure could use a facelift. Dresser/desk all chipped/weathered, bathroom tub and shower head very worn, but very reasonably priced since we were mostly there to sleep and shower. The sheets were clean and the amenities were fine. The pool and hot tube were nice, and the general store was super convenient on the 6th floor. All in all, no regrets and would stay here again. Walking distance to all things, and Starbucks a block away. We really enjoyed our first visit to Hawaii! Thank you!

Pros: Superb location. From the balcony you can see the city, the ocean, the canal, and the mountains. It was beautiful. Check-in and check-out instructions were very clear. The people at the front desks were very helpful and kind. I felt very safe and I had everything I needed for a great vacation.
Cons: The only real complaint I have is that some of the upholstery and linens were stained (the couch had a few light stains on it, the sheets had black marks on them that looked like burn marks or damage from an old dryer, and the shower curtain had a giant bleach stain on it). These complaints however, did not disrupt my fun in the sun by any means. The view from the balcony annd the location overshadowed any negatives.

We found the condo nice and clean. The windows of the sleeping room are no real windows, but plastic lamellas, meaning the noise from outside is pretty loud and as Waikiki is a very noisy neighborhood, I needed to use earplugs for sleeping. The kitchen has all you need besides spices. The pool area and fitness were nice and clean.

We choose this location for my mother-in-law. She was visiting us for her birthday, and it was her first time to Hawaii. The location was great and amenities convenient. She really enjoyed her stay even though it rained alot of the time. They were doing construction on the same floor and we thought the room looked bigger in the photos. But no complaints here. She had a blast!

Overall the property was fine. Not great but not bad just fine.
The light switches were confusing and the amount of electrical expanders was a bit unnerving. For the price I guess it was fair?
The AC made the room warmer oddly, unless it was on fan mode and I couldn't cool down below 80 degrees at night unless I had the windows open. Then it was loud.
It's near shops and all which is fine. If you plan to spend very little time in the unit then you'll be fine, if you want to feel homey or to be able to easily use the TV you won't like. I couldn't even get the Netflix to work.
All in all it was fine. Like I'd give a solid B-.

We only had a few days on Oahu. This location was perfect for access to the highlights. The room was clean, the supplies in kitchen were adequate and the amenities of the building were all there. My only dislike was sleeping on the pullout sofa was not comfortable for an adult. Otherwise it was great. Initially thought it would be too high up but elevators were quick and view was above most buildings.

Nice view from balcony especially at night. Bonus I got to see Friday fireworks from it. There are just a few little things that would make this unit truly perfect - bathroom could use a refresh like new shower curtain. Mattress obviously has some sort of plastic casing under the sheet which makes it less comfortable. But mostly a solid unit in a safe building. Ate a couple times in the cafe on first floor. Would recommend overall.

The location was perfect for walking around, great view from the balcony and the pull out sofa was very comfortable. We did run out of clean towels and TP, the front desk does not supply to Vrbo tenants, we ended up buying our own but could have probably called the leasing agent. Overall no complaints!

The apartment was clean and it was in a great walkable location with a beautiful view of Diamond Head, golf course and the city. It was a little smaller than we thought. The bathroom was so small it was nearly impossible for 2 people to be there at the same time which wasn’t really convenient when you’re trying to get ready quicker.
Unfortunately, the windows did not have protection against noise. We heard every single noise from the outside and it was especially annoying at night when we heard people yelling. Also, when it was windy outside we heard and felt it. We discovered that the windows were like glass blinds and not like regular windows and that’s why we heard every noise. We didn’t sleep a single night without interruptions.
Even though everything else was great we would not stay there again because we were like zombies for our whole stay and we needed sleep to have energy to enjoy our dream vacation and discover the island.
