Our experience with this VRBO was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, we were faced with a wall of at least 70 lockboxes, completely disorganized and not labeled in a logical order. When I reached out to the host, Richard, for help, his response was shockingly short and condescending. While he may deal with this situation daily, most guests—like myself—only deal with finding a place to stay once or twice a year.
The outdated and unnecessarily complicated lockbox system screams of laziness and a refusal to upgrade to modern, user-friendly technology. It’s clear this setup is designed for Richard’s convenience, not for his guests.
To make matters worse, Richard’s attitude made an already frustrating situation much worse. By the end of our stay, simply organizing where to leave the keys became our problem because Richard insisted he had already told us, offering no flexibility or understanding.
I strongly recommend looking elsewhere until they simplify the check-in-out process and address the host’s unprofessional behavior. There are far better options out there where you’ll be treated with respect and consideration.

I want to start by saying that I should have checked my spam folder before requesting and bothering the host with information. It looks like the information was sent and because I didn't have her name or email saved in my email system, it defaulted to spam/junk and I couldn't find it.
So... if you stay and the information is sent, be sure to check your spam folder for the name of the host.
Second part is that parking in Honolulu is so tough that we opted to purchase the $35 parking per day. Don't fret at this amount. You get a steal of a deal because parking is so hard to find. After you check in, they will give you directions in parking.
Now... parking is tight. It will be this way anywhere and everywhere in Honolulu. Just work your way through the parking garage. Be careful because the garage will be snug.
Now... about the location.
It's amazing. It's 2 blocks from Waikiki.
The sun is radiant in the morning. It is truly one of the best gems in Honolulu.
Be sure to go to top level for the great pool and to play cornhole or to BBQ.
Plan to bring any food up all at one time or you'll be taking time going back and forth.
This was worth the rate we paid for. Wished we stayed longer. We would hands down come again for certain. Worth it!! You won't regret it.

Loved the apartment. It was very clean and well stocked with bed linens and towels for bath and beach. It’s literally 2 blocks from Waikiki and near many restaurants and international market. Some downers are the parking space was a nightmare to get into. Very frustrating. The rugs in the bedrooms and living area are filthy. The throw pillows did not look clean. I’d recommend another chair for sitting in the living area it has just 1 sofa. Also the air conditioner leaked water when it’s running making the balcony a mess and they never indicated we’d be responsible for dumping the bucket.

I stayed for two nights. The apartment was stocked with everything needed and was well maintained. The air conditioner worked well, and check-in was an easy process and went exactly as expected. Parking was tight, but that’s to be expected downtown and many options were given.

Daughter got married on a north shore beach, grandkids loved being close to beaches & shopping.
Somehow the condo worked for all of us! Aaron has many sleeping options, even baby things needed when traveling.
The ice chest is about 8”x10” but was great with a few frozen water bottles. The beach toys & towels were good- a few extra fins & masks. We left some hand towels and wash cloths, and a bath mat for us old ones.
Getting into the lockbox can ruin a few nails, and parking is skinny & takes many turns trying to get in!
I think the bigger bedroom should have some drawers or shelves, but just a closet.
We put the coffee table & chairs in the hall to set suitcases on for kiddos.
Easy walk to beach , food, and stores.
The view is toward the mountains, but ok. If going to Waikiki we would choose this again.

We had a great experience! It is a small but cozy studio apartment with a kitchenette and an awesome check-in process. I also really enjoyed the fact we could lock up our valuables in the room and then hit the beach without having to worry about our stuff while swimming. They had a clean space, plenty of towels, and were very responsive when we had a minor issue and corrected it right away. We definitely recommend!

We are glad we rented this unit. The location is super close to everything - the ocean, a mall, moped rentals, restaurants, etc. The views are spectacular and there is a rooftop pool, spa, and pool table that add to the charm. One important thing to note - the couch is too small for an adult person to sleep on but they there is a comfortable queen-sized blow-up mattress that is easy to use. We had two family members rent nearby but our unit is where everyone wanted to be to enjoy Mai Tai's/Hawaiian punch and play No Mercy Uno (which we picked up at Target).
Oh, I forgot to mention, my tall husband really liked the ceiling-height shower head.

The whole booking process was smooth and convenient. Everything you need is provided. They have some kitchen gadgets where you can eat in if you'd like. A little smaller of a space but perfect for 2. Convenient location, super close to a lot of places and so easy to walk to the beach. They provide beach chairs which was so nice! The only negative thing I can say about this place, is you can hear outside pretty well (we didn't have our air unit on at night so that may have helped drown out the noise) and the trash trucks come through really early. And we were then awake for the day. But that could have just been something we noticed and was already struggling with a 6 hour time difference. The place was clean and felt safe. Communication with owner was great! Would definitely stay here again!

This building is a great location to all things in Waikiki, including the 3 block walk to the beach. The management was a breeze to communicate with before and during our trip. Those are the upsides to staying here. The price is decent but the room could really use a deep clean, especially the bathroom and it needs a fresh coat of paint. The AC unit is extremely loud when it runs so if you're a light sleeper, this is not the room for you. One of the outlets next to the bed only had one working plug-in. We could never get more than luke-warm water out of the kitchen faucet and the balcony with the AC unit, had standing water on it most days. Wailkiki buildings are old and rundown and this one was no exception. If you don't care about your room and want a great location at a decent price, this works.

We really enjoyed this condo and found it to be an efficient and affordable base camp for exploring Waikiki. The bed was super comfortable to sleep on, the AC cooled the room off quickly, the futon was nice to sit on at the end of the day and watch TV, the small kitchen had all the necessities, and the WiFi worked great! We walked to the beach, the International Market, and the ABC store on the corner frequently. We definitely recommend this condo and hope to stay here again!

It is a small studio located walking distance to the beach, restaurants/food trucks and near bus stops for local transportation.
The building is outdated but the studio is clean and decently maintained.
I appreciated all of the beach gear such as the towels, chairs, and umbrella.
I would recommend this location for short 3-4 day stays.

We loved our stay here. It was clean and had many appreciated amenities (including beach umbrellas, chairs and toys for the sand!). We loved that we could easily walk to Waikiki beach and back as well as being right around the corner from a bus stop with buses that took us everywhere we were hoping to go including Pearl Harbor and the airport. Aaron was very helpful and prompt with communication and everything was as advertised. Would highly recommend!

This property is amazing!! The condo is very nice and the building has lots of amenities (rooftop is really great). The parking is kinda tight, but manageable. If your new to the cooktop like I was, use the speckled cookware (not all pans work). Janet was really great and responded to our communications quickly. The view is breathtaking and proximity to everything was really nice. Would not hesitate to book this property again.

Convenient location. Few minutes' walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Kitchen doesn’t have any basic condiment like sugar pkts for coffee. The condo is very old-style deco. Does not have the Hawaiian vibe. Definitely needs a makeover and upgrading. Both sliding doors are difficult and a pain to open due to rust and dirt at the bottom. The balcony rails are covered so you can’t enjoy the scenery sitting down. You can see partial ocean view from the balcony standing up. Bathrooms are nice and roomy but needs more towel holders, shelves and hooks. No where to hang 4 wet towels after showering. The master bedroom mattress squeaks a lot. Needs to be replaced. Wifi was not working so I lost half a day’s work since I was on a work holiday. The elevator didn’t work one day. Being on 15th floor it was difficult for my 80-year-old partner to walk down the stairs. Also, I don’t like the early 10am check out. Most places are 11:00 am. I will not be staying here again. Not as nice as the pictures

This stay was in a great location, even closer to the beach than I pictured! Perfect for people renting a car (the parking garage underneath has windows with lots of spots). If you are concerned about parking - early morning and late night (after 8 pm) are best times to get zoo parking. During the day we had luck with the garage right underneath this unit. Peter was very helpful, check in and checkout were a breeze. A great deal compared to some of the pricier hotels surrounding!

Great apartment and location. Some dirty sheets we had to get changed but Aaron was very responsive. Both Elevators went out our last day and had to haul luggage down from 16th floor. Advertised as two double pull out sofas but only has one which made it a little tight for our party of 7. Overall great location and easy check in/out and love the free parking.

We let the property manager know, they acknowledged but did not respond to fix the problem. Also, the living room is quite small with limited seating… fortunately we spent very little time in the room. We would return without any hesitation.

It is located two blocks from the beach. It had all the amenities we needed for a great beach vacation. Sparsely but adequately stocked kitchen. Beach chairs and beach towels available for use. Secure building and easy to access. Bus stop on the corner. Be aware it is located in a very busy and noisy city. If city noise bothers you, this is not the place for you otherwise the location is spectacular.

My girlfriends and I of 40+ years had a girls vacation while visiting my son who lives in Waikiki. Condo was great and views were wonderful. The roof top pool and spa were enjoyable. We even bbq'd one night! Beach was two short blocks away. Major shopping and restaurants we're close by. I can also recommend waikikisailing.com for the turtle snorkeling! The crew was wonderful and fun. AND wear proper shoes when hiking, I saw several families with flip flops trying to hike to the waterfall. Mahalo

We had a wonderful time at the property. While it doesn't have an ocean view, it is just 3 minutes walk to Waikiki beach and many good restaurants. It has a relaxing atmosphere and it was so nice they supplied all the basics.
The kitchen had coffee, tea, spices, and creamer. The apartment had beach towels, snorkeling gear, boogie boards and beach chairs. There was TV with Netflix access. Perfect for both relaxation and adventure. Thank you Aaron for the great communications.
