My boyfriend and I stayed at this property for vacation. To say this place was excellent would be an understatement. Place was clean, easy accessible area, and had everything we could need. We are runners so we ran through turtle bay resort every morning . That was one of the best perks of this place. So safe and so easy to get around. The host had coffee available , snorkel gear (we brought our own but the gesture was appreciated), beach chairs and everything else someone would want when they want to feel at home on vacation. I would recommend this place to everyone .

We had a wonderful time on Oahu’s North Shore! The property was clean and spacious. It’s in a great location, walking distance from a few restaurants and the beach, and driving distance to other attractions. There were some water-heater issues during our stay, but the owner, Kama, was very attentive and helped to solve the problem quickly and efficiently. He was easy to communicate with and easy to get a hold of when we needed him. We can’t wait to go back to Hawaii and stay with Kama again!

We loved our stay here. It was convenient to go both south to a Kahuku and north to Hale’iwa. Beach chairs and an umbrella were a nice touch to have available. There was also a cooler that we didn’t end up using but felt it was a good perk.

This is a nice clean unit in a convenient location. The kitchen is small but well-appointed. The upstairs bedrooms are nice but one bed frame had to be repaired when it partially fell apart halfway through our stay. The ground floor furniture is not comfortable at all, and there is essentially no sound-proofing from the unit next door. The lack of a hot tub on property was a disappointment.

Great location with lots of walking trails and many accessible beaches that aren’t crowded. Private lanai was nice to enjoy for meals. The kitchen is well stocked and the livingroom furniture was comfortable.

DO NOT STAY HEREThe place was filthy and dangerousPower kept tripping & turning off lights would also flicker The fridge /freezer was covered in mould (sever health risk)Fridge had left over food from previous renters. No idea how old it was. Rental stated that the accommodation sleeps 4. However the sofa bed tiny and not a “bed” was like a park bench and my two little boys barely fit on there. No way an adult would fit. It was also dirty. bed linen was dirty and smelled. Pillows were stained. The bed had sand and hair in the sheets. Aircon in the bedroom was leaking water all over the power chord. washing machine and dryer did not work. There was mould and dirt all around the washer/dryer. The fire detectors/ smoke alarms had been removed from all rooms. (As far as I’m aware, smoke alarms are required by law)I tried contacted the host initially as we had trouble entering the rental. I also tried to call the host 5 times. Each time went through to voice mail. I finally got a hold of the host via text message, and after I voiced my concerns partially with the mould and power issues she replied with “I should have paid a lot more money” “I expected 5 star on a budget” to my response I just wanted a safe clean place to stay. She then replied with “well you should have done more research” and claims that her past guests loved staying there. Not according to the reviews. We had to leave and are now out of pocket 3000. I have photo proof of all.

The condo was clean, as described and located with easy access to shopping and restaurants. It had everything we needed, and all appliances worked well. There were plenty of beach chairs to watch surfing and sunsets. Communication with management was prompt and efficient. Can’t wait to visit again.

Beyond our expectations. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Host provides everything you need for a unit and beyond. We were so impressed with the overall experience. Highly recommend!! For small groups and including families she provides what you need to enjoy the beach during your stay. The home decor is a true Hawaiian experience.

Newly remodeled, perfect condition condo with one large bedroom, one large bathroom with bathtub and a living room with a sleeper sofa that looks out to the beautiful, famous Turtle Bay golf course. Also a large, gorgeous kitchen with granite countertops, equip with brand new stainless steel appliances and new hardwood floors as of August of 2017 Our condo is located on the putting green on the Turtle Bay Golf Course...You have the luxury of 24 hour security guards for extra protection of your personal items. This condo is a short 5-10 minute walk to breathtaking beaches where there is surfing and snorkeling...This condo is perfect for a luxury, upscale vacation at an extremely low price!" The unit was filthy, dusty, screens broken & extremely dirty with white flakes on the bedding, hair on the floors, cob webs in the corners & light fixtures and rat feces on the dishes in the cupboards. There wasn't even a tub where the listing said it did. The host was rude, would not listen, saying "I have 6 kids, I don't have time for your complaints!" and that I was "too picky" and that the unit was in fact "clean" and "amazing". She denied my refund even though I told her I could not stay there and left the unit after seeing the rat feces. She relisted the unit the very next morning at a higher price than what I paid. Pleas contact me to resolve.

Property description is spot on- walking distance to Turtle Bay for a swim, drinks & food. Nice location next to golf course, great location away from the crowds of Waikiki and a private, safe Self-parking next to condo (No-Valet fee's !) . This was the perfect spot for our family to spend 5 days with our daughter who lives on Oahu but doesn't have room for all of us. It was a great vacation spot to the North Shore for her. The condo was very spacious for all. Loved how close beach and resort was to get to, either walking or driving. We hope to come back in the future and recommend it to others visiting the area.

Beautiful, clean, and family friendly. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed, including 3 boogie boards, and umbrella, coolers, chairs, soft top, kids life jackets, snorkel gear, and sand toys. The kids loved the bunk beds, but I was a little nervous about the top bunks not having railings all the way around. It ended up being fine and the couch was huge and comfy as a back up option if we didn’t want to use the top bunks. The mattresses and pillows were super comfortable. We all slept very well. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back. Mahalo!!

We had a wonderful stay and the place was perfect for what we needed for four adults! It was very clean and comfortable. We were very impressed with how well supplied the kitchen was in addition to beach chairs/beach toys. The location was great, very quiet, close to a pool, could walk to Turtle Bay beach and also was just down the road to many food trucks for easy meals. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Realistically, great for the price for the location and stay, but washer dryer out of order and not previously communicated. Overall, if it wasn't for a little deception, I would have given a 5. We are realistic about location, price, and cleanliness
when it comes to a Hawai'i stay, because we're local expats.
I can overlook the broken screen, baby gecko's hunting with the spiders, crumbs under the couch, and whatnot. I can sterilize and clean with the community. I do have a problem with the washer and dryer being featured in the listing but not actually being functioning. I am glad we brought and used our own sheets and towels.
For the off peak pricing, and I would say it was still worth it as long as you lower your expectations and standards. It will be a little basic, old, and tacky (literally tacks holding up some stuff), but again, for the price and location, the value exists.
Just think of it as visiting your stoner college buddies house for a weekend.

The condo and Turtle Bay Area are one of the best areas to stay in all of Oahu… perfect beaches just minutes away on foot, and all of the north shore activities and beach parks are all within a 15-20 minute drive!!! True spoils!!!

The view out the lanai is so peaceful and calm! We spent mornings enjoying our coffee and peaceful surroundings watching the birds. Everyone in our group loved the hammock! Daughter even took an afternoon nap in it. The weather was temperate and airflow through the unit was good so we didn't use the AC units.
Interior has an open floor plan. The kitchen was well-stocked with many unbreakable dishes and cooking essentials. We appreciate the unbreakable dishes for our 4 year old! The large french door frig had plenty of storage space, but a non-working water dispenser. The glass stove top and oven worked well. Bathrooms were well stocked with towels and toiletries. Beds were comfortable! Good detailed instructions from the owners about surrounding area and check out procedures.
The unit does shows its wear and could use a little TLC. There were no working lights in the loft area, and the bunk bed was a bit wobbly. One of the steps on the staircase had a strip of packing tape wrapped around it on one side. It felt safe to use, just not sure why the tape. The stove worked well, but the heat setting for the burners were worn off leaving us to guess the settings. Also the TV in the downstairs bedroom didn’t work. The TV had no power cord, only a note on the screen “do not use.”
Despite those few inconveniences, we would definitely stay here again. This unit was a great vacation place with easy walk to the stables and beach area

We booked somewhat last minute when family who had already booked in another unit invited us to meet up for the T-giving holiday after losing a beloved family member. Booking, price & communication received from owner & VRBO were great as was the location. We had to contact the owner when the pool code in the instructions didn't work - she got back to us immediately.
The condo is nice & was clean, kitchen appliances were newer, but furniture was dated & some maintenance is needed. Loose door handles (tried to find a screwdriver to just tighten it but didn't), chipped thresholds, worn carpet on stairs, tub hardware was old & very difficult to pull on, + many little things were noticeable like patched up ceiling/floor/paint in many areas. The couch wasn't comfortable & had a slipcover. Chairs & other furniture had double cushions on them & were just worn looking and cluttery.
We were not bothered by this enough to deter our fun holiday, but would probably not book again w/more than the 3 people we had or until it gets some updates.
Pros: the pool area & parking spot close by, lanai was screened in & kept the bugs out, there was a boogie board and some pool toys, 2 beach chairs, beach towels, etc. there, 10 minute walk to the resort & a nice walking trail on the golf course + beach trails made it lovely.
Cons: eclectic/dated furnishings, had to buy dish soap as none was provided for hand washing, upstairs foldout dipped down at head & had old headboard sitting behind it
