Great location, parking was convenient however parking garage ceilings were very low. The property was clean, I did not look like the picture. Midway vacations (property management) were great with communication. We would stay there again!

Great location, and rental company was easy to work with. The other reviews were correct when they referenced how clean the condo was. There was hair in the bathroom when we arrived. The floors definitely needed to be vaccumed and mopped. Bottom of walls needed to be washed. The AC unit LED screen was broken so we did not know the temperature. There was leaking water constantly on the patio outside, not able to sit outside. Over all good location but unsure if we would stay again.

My siblings and I had a FANTASTIC stay at Steve's Waikiki Banyan condo! Very clean, lots of space, all the amenities we needed and a gorgeous view of the mountains and ocean. Steve was very hospitable and easy to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again on our next Hawaii trip!

This unit upon entry had 2 of the 3 beds broke and unusable. The doors were detached from the hardware but with my maintenance background, i reattached them. There was ointment and a paper cup under one bed. When i tried to communicate with the Aska Gateway staff they didn't care to respond in a timely manor. After many calls and emails they stopped answering my calls. There was no other accommodations due to the Honolulu Marathon. I ended up sleeping on the floor. Most of the furniture is broken or completely falling apart. I visited two other units while we were here and found that this was an isolated issue with this unit. Never again will i stay here or rent through Aska Gateway.

We stayed 11 days for a family vacation. All was pretty much as expected. Great location. Bed was comfortable. Internet, TV, Refrigerator, Microwave, Faucets, etc. worked well. Furniture is a little aged - but comfortable. Host was very responsive when I had a question. I would stay here again.

We chose this condo because the location was great. We are very familiar with the location and it is perfect for the 2 of us. We call this location the quiet end of Waikiki. Restaurants are a short walk as is shopping. Check it out on mapuest and you can see exact location. 1 block to the beach. The pictures posted on VRBO were true to the unit. The bed was very comfortable and bigger than our Cal-King at home. The kitchen had all the amenities that we needed. The AC was turned on when we arrived but we turned it off and didn't use it again. The lanis was very spacious and the windows in the bedroom gave us great natural air conditoning. Very well appointed condo. Looking forward to our next trip there.

Here’s my honest review: I really appreciate that this property is located towards the quieter end of Waikiki, which feels less crowded. The unit shows some minor signs of wear, but nothing beyond typical use. Having a washer and dryer in the building is a big plus. The view is lovely (though not completely unobstructed due to a few high-rise buildings in front), but the ocean view is still very nice. The unit was spotless and well-stocked with plenty of towels, a full kitchen, and all the cookware and dishes you could need. The beds had firm, comfortable mattresses, which I personally liked. The inclusion of free parking was a huge bonus. I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others—it's a great alternative to pricey hotels that tack on resort and parking fees.

Spent a week here and is our second time doing so at this property, not Thai specific unit. The Banyon is great, some minor setbacks, the "security" at the pool was more the no fun police, and inconsistent in rules they enforced or made up even if not on the rule board when you walk in. Unit was nicely updated, though already showing some wear and tear on baseboards and flooring. Really wish the owners would provide more than two rolls of toilet paper when units booked for a week or more. Overall not bad at all and great escape during winter.

Our stay at this property had its highlights: the location was convenient, and the amenities were as described. Haller’s Coastal Homes was responsive to two initial issues. The first was a slow-draining bathtub upon arrival, which they addressed promptly by sending a plumber the next day. The second was a scheduled water and drainage shutoff, for which we were notified only the afternoon prior. While the short notice was very inconvenient, Haller’s Coastal Homes worked with the property owner to secure us a partial refund for that day, which we appreciated.
However, a significant issue was the persistent construction noise that disrupted the otherwise peaceful environment. I personally visited the 29th floor, identified the source, and confirmed with the security office that construction was taking place. When I reported this to Haller’s Coastal Homes, they denied any construction activity despite my firsthand observations and video recordings of the noise, which I sent via email. This lack of acknowledgment and resolution left me feeling unsupported.
The property emphasizes a "Good Neighbor Policy," which I value, but the management's denial of the noise issue diminished our experience.
While the property has many positives, including its location and amenities, it is quite dated. As noted in other reviews, the elevators remain an issue, with wait times reaching up to 20 minutes during our stay. I recommend potential guests inquire in advance about possible disturbances.

Hello everybody! We loved our stay at the Waikiki Banyan. Check in was very easy...a phone call and a few text messages later Byron had us set up in no time. We were very pleasantly surprised by this condo: it's got all you need. Upon arrival we noticed there weren't enough beach chairs for the 3 of us. We texted Byron and "voilà"... he brought us 2 more. He was gracious enough to bring them over himself while we were around as opposed to entering the property in our absence...not that we would've minded it anyway. On top of the awesome daily rate we paid, one other thing that mattered to us in choosing this property was the free parking they offered...if you have a car rental, that is a must, unless you want to pay anywhere from 25 to 45 bucks a day. The condo is located on the 24th floor and you can see the ocean straight ahead, and a little bit of the Diamond Head on the left-hand side, if views matter to you. We barely spent any time in the apartment, apart from sleeping 😊. We recommend this property as it’s available to rent on a daily rate basis, and not monthly as one may find while searching. You are also very close, like walking distance to the Waikiki Beach and all the hustle and bustle that comes with it, or to the Zoo on the opposite direction.

The condo was clean and had all the amenities promised. It was nice to have a "welcome Package" with coffee pack, toilet paper, dish soap, laundry soap pods, paper towels, salt and pepper. the shower had good water pressure. The toilet is lower so if you have bad knees it could be difficult getting off of it. The beds were very comfortable. The one bed was very close to the closet making it hard to access the closet. There was a small dresser in the closet that we did not use because it was difficult to get into. There were two beach chairs and umbrella available for beach use, four beach towels and linen for for people. The lotions and shampoos travel size smelled great. The furnature was all comfortable. The parking garage has low clearance so be mindful of that if renting a vehicle. My biggest complaint is waiting for the elevators. There were several times where I was waiting 10min to get on the elevator because every time it would stop it was already full of people. They are currently doing some renovations so that may get better when they are done. The Banyan is only a short walk from Waikiki beach, Honolulu zoo, and many shopping and dinning options. The manager of the property was nice. He was available when I had any questions and responded quickly to my messages.

This location is fantastic and the view from the place is amazing. The bathroom being located in same room as where people are sleeping with no outside access was not great, and the elevator situation in this building is very annoying (waited up to 15 minutes for an elevator) otherwise our kids really enjoyed the stay and the customer service was really well done.

We loved staying in the property at the Waikiki Banyon. We appreciated the number of amenities we had access to (beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, snorkel gear). We also loved the pool, access to grills to cook, having a kitchen, and included parking. High value compared to the other hotels in the area.. We would definitely stay here again!

The host, though charging an absorbitant Host Fee, did nothing to resolve three issues that existed throughout my entire stay. The first was that all though parking was promised to be provided, the full size SUV that we rented would not fit in the Banyon's parking structure. Koko Resorts said that the restrictions are very clearly (not) stated in their property description. We had to find parking off site at $50.00+ a day. The second was the room's air conditioner that leaked water all over the carpet. Nothing done to resolve the problem. The third was that the TV cable box was inoperative throughout my entire visit. Neither the AC issue or the TV issue were ever resolved. The staff that answered the phones at Koko were understanding and apologetic but the problems were never addressed. I had seven calls into Koko over 21 day period. Koko certianly did not earn or deserve the Host Fee that they charged me. Their service was non-existent except of course for the poeple who answered my calls and apologized profusely. The Banyon as property is a great location. All units have full kitchens. It's great for families because you can make meals and do not have to go out to eat all the time. As I am certain you can imagine, going out can get expensive in Waikiki. We have stayed in Waikiki too many times to count over the past 30 years. The Banyon is a great afforable property. Don't stay in any unit managed by Koko resorts. They are disgraceful. They don't deserve your hard e money.
