A perfect place for a couple or a solo traveler. The kitchen was well-equipped, the laundry machines were a great addition, and there were plenty of beach supplies on hand. This is such a terrific walkable area with so much to see and buses/trolley's close by. Parking is very expensive in this area, but those who have a car and are staying for more than a few days can buy a monthly pass to park at one of the local lots or garages.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this condo.The view is amazing, and one of the primary reasons we chose it. The unit is very spacious, and the king bed was very comfortable. Appliances, air conditioning and washer/dryer were all great, and in good working order. There were plenty of ‘starter’ amenities, and we didn’t have to purchase much on our own. Also, plenty of beach items were provided. The property is also right on the beach! We did not rent a car, but the location was outstanding, especially for walks along the beach if you are not swimming in the ocean! Kalakaua avenue is only a couple of blocks away, and there are many restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The VRBO description of the property is also very detailed as well as accurate. We were greeted by Paul upon arrival, and he showed us the details of the condo, told us about nearby shopping and places to eat, and even walked us to a close-by ABC store! The only down note of our stay was one evening there was a power outage in the building that lasted over an hour, and we were not able to make contact with Paul at that time, so it would be good to know whom to contact in such a situation. Overall, we were most pleased with our visit, and would highly recommend this condo to anyone! If we are back for another visit to the Waikiki area, we would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here in Oct for 8 days, the unit is great and has everything you need. The kitchen and laundry were a bonus and all supplies were included! The view is gorgeous, with views of the ocean, park and city. We arrived late, at 11pm and check in was seamless. Definitely recommend and would stay here again!

This is an absolutely ideal location and the space is perfect for two people. It had everything we needed and was just outside of the busier part of Waikiki. Being right next to the beach and the beautiful park was wonderful. And being able to see the Friday night fireworks from our balcony was magical. The excellent Arnold's is just down the street and there's convenient parking in the large lot across the road. Get the monthly pass if you're staying a few days - that'll save you some $.

We loved long walks, swimming and convenient coffee and restaurants. The studio was quiet for sleeping. The lanai great for breakfast and evenings with a great view of the ocean. We chose this property because the photos showed the lovely park and greenery views from the balcony (as well as ocean views) It is beachfront, and it had great reviews. The reviews were accurate! The condo is very comfortable, clean, and has all the amenities you need and more. Pots, pans, dishes, seasonings, utensils, towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, even sunscreen. Having laundry onsite was a huge bonus, as well as parking. A car is not necessary as there is much available within walking distance, plus access to buses and Uber, but we chose to rent a car because we wanted to see as much of Oahu as possible. So parking was a big plus. The building is perfectly-located - all units face the 70-acre park beside it, and have spacious lanais with good ocean views if not oceanfront views. So many of the other Waikiki and Honolulu hotels and condos just face each other. We didn't want to look into someone else's room, and at this property, you won't. You walk from the building right onto the beach - perfect! Sunset views from the beach are spectacular, and Diamond Head is also easily visible. You can walk to so much shopping, dining, beach activities, and see the Friday Hilton fireworks from your unit, or better yet the beach. The host is super-responsive and helpful, and the property management is as well. We absolutely enjoyed our stay, and definitely recommend this property.

I was sent an email giving me the code to get in but was not told that I needed to pickup a fob to access the building at a different location so I inquired at the front desk and they weren’t able to help as they are there for the hotel guests and I was unaware that I wasn’t supposed to have contact with them. After sending a message and calling the realtor and getting no response security for the building contacted them and I was then given instructions on how to retrieve the fob. The property was not very Clean, I have pictures and I also have the email that was sent to me that does not give any information about getting the fob at a different location or that I wasn’t supposed to have contact with the front desk, if you would like to see them. It was however a great location.

Check in process was a little confusing. One set of instructions said key fob and parking pass would be in the unit and the other (attachment to the same instructions) said key fob and pass needed be picked up from the property managers office at a different location. Though when asked they responded promptly and communicated well through out stay.

The unit was clean and I’m especially appreciative of the washer and dryer. Bed was comfortable but pillows were flat and hard. The view of the water, beach and park were beautiful but the surrounding noise was a bit loud at times. Maybe it’s not as noticeable on higher floors. This is the second time I’ve stayed in this unit. I really like the size, lighting and cleanliness but wish the kitchen was better stocked. The location is convenient to shopping, the beach and everything in between. Know that there is no pool if that’s important to you. I feel safe here and the property is secure.

Property was good for location and convenience of being close to everything. Parking was a mess; had to park at another hotel 1/2 mile away and pay for a MONTH of parking. Dishes and cooking pans were extremely worn and need to be replaced. Not enough toilet paper and paper towel for full stay (11 nights). Host became unresponsive when asked. Tv was goofy. No local channels. Will definitely be back to Honolulu but won’t stay here. Not what I’ve come to expect with VRBO hosts.

The phone numbers on listing does not go to the person who manages the unit. on a late checkout. I finally got ahold of the person and he kept asking if I wanted to pay for another day. They do not hold your luggage. Our flight was very late. But aside from that the unit is very secure and lovely. The kitchen was nice. The bed was comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay in this spacious and bright unit at Waikiki Shores. Views of the beach, ocean, park, and Friday night fireworks were amazing from the unit-wide lanai. The beach is just steps off the back gate with umbrella and chaise service available. The location is perfect with easy access to nearby dining options and shopping within easy walking distance.
